The Moon has dipped into a “Void” cycle, that started very early this morning. Since will be in this particular energy for the next 24 hours, let’s talk about what a “Void” Moon actually is and how it affects us!

“The Void-of-course period of the Moon is a period of time from the moment the Moon makes the last contact with any planet in the current Sign of the Zodiac, and until it enters the next sign.”
According to most Astrologers, most activities shouldn’t be started during a “Void” of course Moon cycle. New endeavors that get started at this time just don’t seem to pan out, or work out to our liking, or they need some serious adjustments later for them to meet any success. Therefore, if at all possible, we should hold off on going out for that job interview, or that first date, or starting that new business or project, and so forth, “because nothing will happen,” during a “Void” Moon cycle.
During a “Void” Moon you should not sign a contract, make plans, close a deal, or start a project. Basically, anything which you want to have a concrete real-world result should not be started, signed or sealed. If you do, these things will never get off the ground, never materialize, have to be re-done, or have so many problems and setbacks as to be useless anyhow.
In Horary Astrology, in which a person asks a question and then the Astrologer draws a chart of that moment in order to find an answer, if the Moon is “Void” of Course, we generally consider that “nothing will come of the matter”.
“So it looks like the “Void” of course periods were given to us as a time for those little stories which we don’t want to be written into the books of our lives. They are a little bit like little stickers with a few words which you can stick somewhere in a book – they are there, and not there at the same time.”
Tips: If you want to share some kind of news that is shocking in any way or drop a bombshell, and yet have fewer repercussions, in the long run, do it during the “Void” of Course Moon. Or if there is something that needs to be done or said and you just want fewer consequences around your actions, it’s believed to do it under a “Void” of Course Moon.
What is a Void Moon Good for?
– Finishing up projects that have already begun before the Void, of course, Moon.
– Taking inventory, making to-do lists, and finding lost objects.
– Editing, refining, and reviewing.
– Social events with established friends and family.
– Rest and sleep will be more peaceful during the “Void” of course, Moon.
– Getting rid of excess.
What activities should be avoided during the Void Moon?
– Meeting new people or with those, you might want a long-term relationship with.
– Job interviews, presentations of new ideas
– Making important, large purchases (items bought now may not be used, might not turn out as expected, etc.)
– Beginning new projects, launching a new business or starting a new job.

The “Void” Moon Explained

“Void” Moon

The Moon has once again dipped into a “Void” cycle, that started very early this morning. Since will be in this particular energy for the better part of the day, let’s talk about what a “Void” Moon actually is and how it affects us!

The “Void” Moon Explained:
“The Void-of-course period of the Moon is a period of time from the moment the Moon makes the last contact with any planet in the current Sign of the Zodiac, and until it enters the next sign.”

According to most Astrologers, most activities shouldn’t be started during a “Void” of course Moon cycle. Weekend Astro Update

Astro News

July 2nd

Weekend Update

The Moon remains in chatty, empathetic Gemini all day long. This energy is stimulating period, it arouses our curiosity and desire for all kinds of different things! This energy has folks talking and communicating about well, just about everything really! We tend to come up with more rational, reasonable thoughts at this time. It’s also a great time to research, read, and write. Collect information and take notes, just don’t commit to anything long- term until after the Moon leaves Gemini, when you will have all the information you need.

The Sun and Saturn meet up today in a more challenging aspect! This can leave us a little worried about our responsibilities, sudden feelings of doubt and worthlessness might set in. Our confidence may take a hit and suddenly we’re not to sure about things. We can lack confidence in ourselves and our abilities, and this can slow us down because we’re more hesitant than usual out of fear that we’ll make a wrong move. The best way to handle this energy is to work on the parts of your life that deal more with structure and maturity!

Later tonight while most folks are trying to get to sleep the Moon will sink into a “Void” cycle, that will only last through Sunday morning, which is just great timing for the “Void”, which is while we’re asleep and not so attached.

Don’t forget the *New Moon* occurs on Monday July 4th, early in the morning in Cancer. So once the Moon moves into its own sign early Sunday morning, you can start to set some powerful intentions with the Universe around your home and family life, and you’ve got 24 hrs so until the New Moon comes exact Monday morning. Make a wish list and please follow my blogs to learn more.

New Moon in Sagittarius

Saturday – New Moon Update
“Create your future”

Early this morning the New Moon comes together in optimistic, adventurous Sagittarius, and we’re looking for something different, bigger, truthful and honest!

It’s a great time to start new projects, especially if it involves travel or exploring new territory! It’s important to remember if you change your thoughts, you literally change the world around you. We manifest from the inside out. So take a look around and see things differently, and gain a fresh new perspective in this Sagittarius energy.
This energy is about taking action and moving forward, in our minds and with our bodies. Physical movement can help us gain that new perspective I’m talking about. This energy will definitely try and lead us down new paths and into new directions. Be mindful and ask the Universe for what you want, to ensure your heading down the right path.

The New Moon in Sagittarius main message is… it’s ok to have a space within yourself that still respects old traditional ways of doing things. But it’s important to not struggle and repeat history, by doing things the old way, if it didn’t work for you once before then it’s time to try something new.

Practice compassion with yourself, in other words give yourself a break! Some good questions to ask the Universe if you plan on “Setting Intentions” (best energy is Saturday for New Moon work)
Why are you here this go round? Where are you going in life? What beliefs do you hold on to, that don’t work for you anymore? What do you believe now, and what do you know to be true? What should you trust in and where should you take a leap of faith at?

The New Moon holds the best energy to “set intentions” in, it’s a very powerful time. Intentions are best done right after the New Moon comes exact, but not when the Moon shifts into the ‘Void” of Course phase. So this month that would be Saturday morning through Sunday evening.

“Void” Moon in Leo

Wednesday – Moon in Leo – Void Moon

The Moon is still in playful, loving Leo, but also has slipped into a lengthy ‘Void’ of Course Moon cycle, that lasts until Thursday morning.

We’ve also hit a wall with a square to Saturn, so you might feel restricted or limited in some way. This would be a great day to work in solitude on developing deep maturity and self-respect for yourself and others!

Some of you maybe feeling quite burdened, and can’t sort of see the light at the end of the tunnel. Get creative with your problems, work on solving them in a different way.

‘Void’ Moon energy is highly intuitive! Follow your gut instincts, your higher-self, and allow your intuition to guide you. Keep a low-profile, relax, rest, rejuvenate, and go within. Plan out any goals you may have for the future. Especially anything fun or playful. Don’t act however just plan, we never start anything new during a ‘Void!’
