The May New Moon is in the sign of Taurus and this is a time for new beginnings as this cycle marks a major turning point for many of you. This New Moon phase is an actual harmonious connection between the Sun and Moon, and both of them just happen to be in the sign of Taurus this go around, so it’s very strong and potent energy to manifest under. This is a time of learning what it is we truly value, and what genuinely makes us feel more happy and content with life.

This New Moon means business this time around, as the planets around it are very supportive for creating and manifesting, as they are lining up with Moon in it’s New or Dark cycle (this is a good kind of dark), and are totally supportive in helping us bring in whatever we focus on. But you must plan on starting now, you must focus on what you want to happen next in your life, and make a commitment to yourself that you will follow through with any commitments that you make. This is the time to dream about what it is you want but also to make out some sort of Wish Lists, so you can manifest what it is you want in your life. Manifest from your heart and soul! We should be focusing on what it is we can do to increase our own feelings of self-worth, and how to make our lives more simple. This is also a great time to reconnect with the outside world. Under this lunation, we can feel a sense of purpose and like we are on a mission, as we are ready to take on projects that bring personal pleasure back into our lives.

This is such a strong and amazingly potent energy for planting some sort of intentions, which means you should take the time to write down or meditate on what it is you truly want in your life. Ask the Universe to help you move forward now. You can shout it from the rooftops, it doesn’t’ matter how you go about it, just put that energy out there on the airwaves! Making some sort of promise or commitment to what you truly desire is going to manifest in one way or another under this ripe energy!

By the time we get to the weekend when the New Moon comes together many of you will have already made up your mind about what it is you truly want to do next, so you will be ready to make your move. Don’t make the mistake of missing this major cosmic event and accidentally allowing your thoughts and ego to randomly focus on whatever it wants, and then you end up manifesting from a more unconscious space. Be aware, be awake, and make your Intentions clear and known! We must be mindful about our thoughts at this time because whatever we are thinking or feeling is what will be. Be in a space where you operate from your heart to promote healing in your life. We are at a point now where we believe so strongly that we can have what we want without any doubt or second-guessing ourselves. We are in a wonderful place to manifest what it is we truly desire because the way the planets are lining up during this particular New Moon is extremely ripe for New Beginnings and can bring in whatever it is we want or focus on.

During this New Moon cycle, we should be making goals and commitments around the traits of the sign of Taurus and its lessons for all of us. Taurus energy is about being comfortable and secure on this earthly plane of existence, and learning how to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. It’s a time to savor and enjoy any activity that involves a connection to nature and our bodies. Taurus energy teaches all of us how to enjoy what sustains life, so things like food and anything grown from the earth or organic, as we seem to have a much deeper spiritual connection to ourselves and the planet. This means we can work on healing our bodies and ourselves. We enjoy what stimulates the senses immensely, so things like art, music, sexual activity, and again food!

Again, this is a manifesting New Moon under the sign of Taurus, so we should make sure to take some time to Set Intentions with the Cosmos and write out our wish lists about what kind of energy and events we would like to see unfold next in our lives! What paths do you want to head down next? What would bring you the most pleasure?

It’s advised to take some time to stop and enjoy life and rely on good old fashioned common sense. But stay aware of what makes you feel more comfortable and secure. It’s a time to reassess your relationships to money and material possessions and discover what truly makes you feel happy in life. The Sun is in the sign of Taurus from April 19 – May 20

Happy Birthday to all my Bulls! But now understand when the Sun is in any Zodiac Sign, it actually affects all of us no matter what are Sun Sign maybe.

The Sun in Taurus is a time when we feel more sensual, receptive and determined. The energy of the sign of Taurus is more practical, grounded, and stable which definitely overall can be a great help with so many other Cosmic connections happening during this time speeding things way up. This helps us take a deeper look at the events unfolding around us, so we can look at any complicated situation with some good old-fashioned common sense. This sign teaches all of us how to defend ourselves and resist things, but also how to love in a deeper, sensual, and more intimate way, and appreciate the physical world and all its beauty. 

This will be a month of relying on what’s always worked in the past but also moving forward with the times, it’s about integrating tradition with evolution in our lives. You will want to be more comfortable during this time as well, so set up a place to zen out and get all comfy and cozy for the next month to make sure you have somewhere safe to hang out while the Sun is in Taurus. This cycle shows us what stability and substance look like. We seem to be drawn to more practical matters now, so there’s not as much risk-taking happening usual in this energy. (However, mental Mercury is in the sign of Aries which does tend to give us some get up and go even under this energy.) With the Sun in Taurus, we have an opportunity to really value things in the material world and on a spiritual level both. 

As the Sun moves through this sign, we get to see what it is to manifest our world here in this physical reality, as the seeds we have planted take root. Our determination and need for security can become quite strong. Taurus energy is about loyalty, being comfortable, using what’s been tried and true in the past, and sticking to what’s familiar. We value those who have stayed by our side in good and bad times and will honor them more so during this time.

We see the beauty in life and are more focused on what pleases the senses, as they are aroused and highly activated, so we have more appreciation for things like food, music, sex, entertainment, and just anything that feels pleasurable. Because we’re more receptive in this way we should make the time to stop and “smell the roses”, rather than be in a hurry and pass things by. Enjoy all the beautiful things life has to offer and learn to find something beautiful about your life and yourself while the Sun is in Taurus. 

The shadow side of Taurus energy is we can be more possessive, especially with our children and partners, and we can act extremely stubborn and bullheaded. We must learn how to get out of our own way long enough at times and be willing to hear others ideas and opinions. 

While the Sun is in Taurus we should be making plans and setting goals that will be built to last. Put away some money for a rainy day and for your future endeavors. This isn’t a good time to make some kind of life-altering decision, however. Just plan for now, and maybe give it until the end of May to make your next big move.

This week’s Full Moon occurs late Friday night, early Saturday morning, depending on what part of the world you are in. And it’s in the strong but loving sign of Taurus, which can bring up certain things like: Money, Security, Love, Beauty, Love, and Food, yes I said food, as we love to nurture ourselves and others when the Moon is in good, solid, stabilized Taurus, and therefore food becomes a strong need and desire for some under this energy!

The Full Moon is actually an opposition, when the Sun in Scorpio forms a challenging energy with the Moon in Taurus. This one is also what’s called a “Cazimi” Moon, because it is particularly close to earth, so certain themes will come into play more strong than usual. This energy brings up some issues around filling the voids in our life and what we are lacking.

Do you feel satisfied with what you have and do you have enough of what you need, and do you feel secure? Wondering if you have enough money, love, food, or security can come up during this Full Moon, and the answers will become quite obvious over the weekend.

Full Moons are about balancing out the two opposed forces depending on what Zodiac Sign they are transiting, and we must look at these energies to understand what we need to be doing to work with this energy and not against it. We are about to witness an amazing rare “Super” Full Moon. The closest it’s been to Earth in 70 years! Even if you normally don’t look at the stars, this is an astrological event you don’t want to miss!

The November Full Moon is also called a “Supermoon”, so it will be closer to Earth than it’s been since 1948. Make sure to mark your calendars for November 4th when the Moon appears nearly 15% bigger and it is up to 30% brighter than an average Full Moon. There will not be another Full Moon this close to Earth until November 2034! So pay attention to the sky on November 4th through the 6th and get a glimpse of this beautiful Full Moon experience.

This Full Moon is in the sign of the Bull, Taurus. So all the fixed signs of the Zodiac can experience some serious insight to questions they might have had, the fixed signs of the zodiac are Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius. The Moon officially became a New Moon in the sign of Taurus this morning, and we get to bask in its energy all the way through Thursday evening. This is a new cycle that creates New Beginnings, as a New Moon is when the Sun and the Moon meet up and make a powerfully strong connection, that generally is favorable. And both the Sun and Moon are in Taurus this month, which is a beautiful, highly emotional, manifesting, and loving energy.

With the Moon and Sun both in the sign of the Bull, Taurus, forming the New Moon, our focus should be on what Taurus energy represents. (This, by the way, goes for everyone, the Moon in any sign affects all the signs of the Zodiac.), and Taurus wants to teach us how to take care of ourselves in a very physical way. This is the time to learn how to enjoy life’s simple pleasures and how to be more in touch with our physical body and nurture it!

The Sun’s energy has shifted now from more adventurous Aries into practical, grounded, and stable Taurus. This is a major slowdown in energy with mental Mercury also in Taurus. Mercury influences our thinking and overall mindset. It’s important to be patient during this cycle.

Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even though it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we can have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde is that time out, it’s the chance to get caught up with life, it’s time to get unplugged, and take a long deep breath. It’s a good time to take time off from work if at all possible and focus on reworking anything that needs it. Mercury rules the lower mind and energies, so when it’s in a Retrograde cycle we start to perceive things in a very different way.
Mercury in Retrograde, like all Retrograde plants, is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new astrological fad. Planets have always gone into Retrograde and will continue to. So every once in a while we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Retrogrades cycle does is help us to breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to know as this energy is coming in, it’s time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to re-search, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.
What Not To Do during
Mercury in Retrograde:
– Don’t start brand new projects
– Do not get into arguments, avoid critical folks and tense people or situations.
– Do Not Sign Contracts or New Agreements
– Avoid Travel
– Do Not take misunderstandings personal. Our communication is foggy and clouded.
What To do during
Mercury in Retrograde:
– Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.
– Double Check the Facts and all the info you come by.
– Revisit what you need to, like your work.
– Reconnect with the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.
– Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved, usually start this process two weeks prior to the actual Retro Cycle.
– Reorganize your daily life routines.
– Declutter.
– Reflect and practice spiritual work.
– Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what no longer is working especially in your intimate relationships.
There can be positive things that come from a Mercury in Retrograde cycle that you just didn’t think about before. Like throwing out the old and organizing our lives. Focus on more past opportunities and reconsider them and see if they are still an option, and try to let go of any computer glitches or electronic snafus you might be experiencing.
Mercury is currently in Taurus and this is strong energy.
So our focus should be on re-organizing and reflecting. We see the world a little differently during this time, through these filters, we can have some very important inner revelations. It may not be as easy to communicate under this influence, but remember not to try and rationalize everything. Mercury Rx periods can be times of heightened inner awareness, so doing things like meditation, keeping a journal, reworking old plans, and reviewing, or around anything from your past can be quite helpful. Mercury Rx is also a powerful time to study, particularly for returning to old studies and re-learning or refreshing knowledge around a subject that’s already been taken.
With Mercury in Taurus during this particularly Retrograde cycle, past decisions and ideas from a new more possible enlightened perspective can be very useful. Even though we may be especially stubborn or impatient. Lots of folks will end up returning to old projects and end up redoing, refining and tweaking them. You may feel stuck in the past in some way while Mercury is Retrograde in Taurus, but you can find old or past ideas to be more useful now, so use them in new ways if you can make yourself move forward. This is a great time to review recent financial matters and discover mistakes or oversights. (And it is tax season.) Plans may be reconsidered in ways that can benefit you.
Retrograde Mercury is aligning with the Sun on April 20th just as the Sun enters Taurus, which lights up our thoughts! This inferior conjunction presents actually a good time for processing recent events and ideas, and for beginning to look at problems or issues from a new perspective and with some new information and a new understanding. What we say, do, write or project out to the world now can have a great impact, and this can be a positive or negative experience. There will be significant new ideas that can be learned during this time, although we are unlikely to seem them completely clear quite yet.
This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past and help you reconnect to an old dream or goal, to follow through on. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually, it doesn’t work out for the long-run. It’s a good time to take time off from work if at all possible and focus on reworking anything that needs it. Mercury rules the lower mind and energies, so when it’s Retrograde we start to perceive things in a very different way, and this can cause serious confusion. 
Mercury in Retrograde, like all Retrograde planets is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new astrological fad. Planets have always went into Retrograde and will continue too. So every once in a while we get a chance to pause or stop, and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the path you’re on. What this Mercury in Retrogrades cycle does is help us to breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to know as this energy is coming in, it’s time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to re-search, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.

What Not To Do during 1Mercury in Retrograde:

  • Don’t start brand new projects
  • Do not get into arguments, avoid critical folks and tense people or situations.
  • Do Not Sign Contracts or New Agreements
  • Avoid Travel
  • Do Not take misunderstandings personal. Our communication is foggy and clouded.

What To do during Mercury in Retrograde:

  • Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.
  • Double Check the Facts and all the info you come by.
  • Revisit what you need to, like your work.
  • Reconnect to the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.
  • Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved, usually start this process two weeks prior to the actual Retro Cycle.
  • Reorganize your daily life routines.
  • Declutter.
  • Reflect and practice spiritual work.
  • Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what no longer is working.

There can be positive results that come from a Mercury in Retrograde cycle that you just didn’t think about before. Mercury is currently in Taurus and which means our thought processes our way slowed down. So our focus should be on clearing and cleansing what we have while learning how to love ourselves. Focus on any past opportunities that weren’t taken on and reconsider if they’re still an option.
This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past and help you reconnect to a old dream or goal, to follow through on now. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually it doesn’t work out for the long-run.

“Mercury’s Slow Down”

Mercury the planet that rules over your thinking and how you communicate is shifting today into more slowed down, grounded Taurus, and again this affects every single sign in the zodiac. Mercury will transit the sign of the bull sign until April 20th! Also, Mercury is preparing now to go into its Retrograde cycle and under this sign things can seem very slow moving and even at a snails pace. Which can be frustrating for all of you, since we’ve been in the strong Aries energy for awhile now and life has been busy! It’s going to take time to adjust to this new more slowed down and “look at the roses” kind of energy. 
Mercury will remind Taurus through April 20th, but will shift back into Aries on the 21st due to its Retrograde phase, therefore Mercury will return to Taurus from May 16th-June 6th right after a Retrograde period in Aries. So we’re going to be dealing with this energy for a extended amount of time. 

With Mercury in Taurus, you will take things more slowly and the energies come down a notch as you can feel more down to earth, stable, and grounded. Good old-fashioned common sense takes ahold. When you do communicate it is with intention and purpose, as the reality of any given situation is important. Your mind is connected very strongly to the five senses and the world around you under this influence. You tend to stick to what you know has worked in the past, so what is tried and true instead of trying new ways of thinking and communicating.

You are more serious in this energy, at least in what you think, and there is a reluctance to try a new technique since you are more comfortable with what already works. You do best connecting with one person rather than a crowd, and meaningful discussions can make your heart happy. This is a time for addressing any problems that exist with someone, and that also means anything fun that does happen tends to lack any shocks or surprises. Taurus mental energy for all of us is not flashy or showy at all, but can make you feel more demanding of certain peoples attention, especially if they are familiar or close family or friends. 

While you show level-headedness in all business that you do during this cycle, you sometimes can miss certain opportunities because you are slow to respond. You are at your best when focused on important matters at work, and you may have difficulty with too many decisions. This isn’t a good time to multi-task, but it is good for researching possibilities and for perfecting certain skills. And hopefully climbing the corporate ladder if that’s a goal you have, remember it’s slow and steady for now, but at least you’ll be making momentum. 

Your attention is given to one thing at a time as you can stay more focused and this can help keep things simple, but you must be careful of being to closed off and narrow-minded, and possibly overly conservative and even rigid in your way of thinking. You’re heart is usually more open during this cycle, so work on loving yourself more, it’s just you may have to remind yourself of this from time to time.

Rare “Super” Moon Approaching!

We are about to witness an amazing rare “Super” Full Moon. The closest it’s been to Earth in 70 years! Even if you normally don’t look at the stars, this is an astrological event you don’t want to miss!

The November Full Moon is also called a “Supermoon”, so it will be closer to Earth than it’s been since 1948. Make sure to mark your calendars for November 14th when the Moon appears nearly 15% bigger and it is up to 30% brighter than an average Full Moon. There will not be another Full Moon this close to Earth until November 2034! So pay attention to the sky on November 13th – 15th and get a glimpse of this beautiful Full Moon experience.

This Full Moon is in the sign of the Bull, Taurus. So all the fixed signs of the Zodiac can experience some serious insight to questions they might have had, the fixed signs of the zodiac are Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius. But no matter what your zodiac Sun Sign may be, you’re going to definitely be affected by this SuperMoon event in one way or another!

How “Supermoons” differ from regular Full Moons?

Full SuperMoons actually shine brighter, look bolder and bigger, and are technically closer to the Earth. Therefore their energy is felt even more strong and intense than with an average Full Moon! New Moon May

The Moon is in Taurus all day, and a New Moon occurs later this afternoon. This is a great day to be around the folks that make you feel safe and secure. Take some time to literally smell the roses today, because this energy is all about pleasing ones senses. Do the kind of things that entice you and that can bring you pleasure, like eating a good meal, soaking in a nice bubble bath, listening to music, or just enjoying a good emotional conversation with a friend. Don’t forget while attending to your own needs you should also be writing out the “Intentions” you would like to set today with this glorious New Moon!

This New Moon is really wonderfully placed for anyone who likes to do New Moon wishing and Intention Setting. Reason being it takes place on a Friday afternoon, which is all the better for getting together with close friends or family to Set your Intentions for the month ahead! But you can “Set Intentions” alone just as well.

This New Moon is taking place in very close proximity to Mercury which is currently in Retrograde, and could assist you in some way, if you’re looking for a second chance of some kind. This New Moon has a whole lot of energy and can help us with transformation in some way, being that it’s so close to powerful Pluto. There’s a strong opportunity here to make some profound changes in your life, but you have to connect to it!

It’s time to make a decision around what you want to see changed about you (not others so much.) so take some action around this vision. One way would be writing what it is you want to see transformed within yourself. Ask for all the lovely wishes and dreams you have, but also ask to see a change for you in some way. We really have all day today, but try and do this work before 9pm CST or 10pm EST, when the Moon goes into a “Void” of Course cycle, which is never a good time to work with energy! It’s just simply not a energetic match with a New Moon.

This New Moon is also aligning with Mercury and Venus, and is forming a harmonious Trine with the North Node (the Moon’s Moons) Pluto, and Neptune! This makes what called a “Kite” formation in Astrology, and the potential they hold is bigger then a “Grand Trine.” So basically that’s some really good stuff! This can bring in many different kinds of golden opportunities to us. I have already seen how it has been playing out in my own life and my clients, as this energy has been building slowly all week. This energy can bring in the good stuff that you’ve been working so hard to obtain, the potential this energy has is simply amazing, I invite any of you who are reading this to at the very least take some time today and write out your future goals or wishes, dreams and visions, because the potential this energy holds is huge!
