Eclipse Season – How to Handle it!

Eclipse Season!

We are in “Eclipse Season”, and a Lunar Eclipse occurs on January 10th, 2020.

Eclipses of the Sun and the Moon tend to shake things up and bring in powerful changes. Sometimes the changes that take place during an Eclipse may not be what you’d like or expect, but before you make any decisions or judgments wait for things to settle down first and after the Lunar Eclipse occurs and see how you feel.

Many of you are trying to get too much done right now, and without much time, money, or energy. And you’ve depleted your energy and it’s low, so don’t overdo anything as we enter into “Eclipse Season.” There might be something that comes up during the Eclipses that you will have to pay extra close attention too, so you’ll need the extra time. So again I repeat don’t overdo anything right now! And during this particular Eclipse Season lots of folks are getting sick or falling ill. Keep your immune system strong.

Everyone feels the Eclipses on some level, if they understand it or not. For some folks, it may not affect them directly but more indirectly, where you have to help the other people in your life because they’re having a hard time, so you could end up spending this “Eclipse Season” lending a helping hand. And then the rest of us could have issues or challenges we have to work through, and hopefully, the favor is returned and we get a little help from our friends when we are down.

This Lunar Eclipse coming together in January can reveal something that’s been hidden or kept secret. It can be a personal issue that you’ve been trying to hide, but also global issues have already started to come out. If for whatever reason you’re trying to hide something, or keep secrets be careful because Full Moon’s are truth-telling time and a Lunar Eclipse just amplifies that energy even more, so basically whatever is being hidden could come out this week! As these Eclipses come together the Universe sends out very subtle or sometimes strong messages, and these messages can be a reality check of some kind. So be on the lookout in the next week or so for signs, symbols, and dreams about what is coming to light.

Want to know the best way to handle “Eclipse Season”, here are some helpful hints.

*Get some Rest, The body takes a lot of energy on during an Eclipse, it transforms us on a deep cellular level which means our DNA moves around, and as we begin to download information from the Eclipses (mostly unconscious) this energy can be exhausting for all of us.

*Don’t allow yourself to get involved in others drama, mind your business. The lunar activity can make folks feel pretty crazy anyway, so Eclipses really can cause some of us to get ramped up and become frustrated, and anxiety-ridden. Then, in turn, you can take out your fears on everyone else. Stay away from the negativity period! We absorb the energies we continue to be around, good, bad, or indifferent.

*Nurture yourself during Eclipse Season. This is about taking care of your total well-being. You need to stay as balanced as possible because Eclipses can make us feel like we’re in an energetic rat race. With energy pushing and pulling on us.

*Meditate daily and get connected to your Spirit, Mind, and Body..
*Eat balanced meals and don’t grab junk in a hurry. Go organic and drink lots of extra water right now.

*Journal daily, it’s therapy, seriously just try it! Write about how your feeling and what you desire in life. This can also help you keep up with any signs or messages you might be seeing, and it may help you build a more personal relationship with the Universe.

*Exercise and burn off some steam, this will help you keep all that nervous energy under control, and it can help you stay balanced.

*Connect to Nature – get outdoors and take a walk daily, or perhaps go to the park, just do something that’s physically active.

*Play music and lift your mood, or something relaxing. Music is so good for the Soul. Make sure and stay away from sad or angry music or movies. The point is to raise your vibration and not bring it down.

*Wear Gem Stones of any kind that make you feel good, they will raise your vibration and can aid you. Stones tend to help us feel relaxed and calmer and keep you grounded. Learn more about the healing qualities of the Stones if you don’t know.

*Get away from all the negative media, because during Eclipse Season it’s always just full of more sad and tragic events happening in the world. Things happen during Eclipses, and as I said it shakes us up. While there can be some great stuff going on in the world as well, the news and social media seldom report it. We can get flooded with lower vibrational negative news and information. Eclipse Season has already begun, so unplug! Block negative media and other drama on Facebook and surround yourself with positive open-minded people, groups, and pages.

Remember Eclipses can be a good thing too, they can deliver messages from the Cosmos that we need to hear or see. Thisall can be extremely revealing, so we can make decisions that make our lives better in some way.

“Eclipse Season” started in December of 2019, with the Solar Eclipse in Capricorn. Now here in a just a short time the Lunar Eclipse occurs on January 10 in Cancer.

Mercury ☿ in Capricorn

On December 28th Mercury enters the sign of Capricorn and stays there through January 16th.

Mercury, the planet of communication, commerce, and travel has been in the sign of Sagittarius for the last three weeks at its detriment. The bottom line is this means while Mercury is in Sagittarius, it does not do so well. As we had less control of our mouths and impulses. This was a time of travel, exploration, and learning. But even if we didn’t get to actually go anywhere, we probably had some amazing adventures in our minds. It was a good time for meeting new people, so hopefully there were fresh new ideas gained and perspectives changed. But now a shift occurs and it’s time to make new plans and set new goals, and manifest what we want next in our life. Our goals should reflect who we are and want to become.

With Mercury in Capricorn, we tend to get more calm and quiet, and are less over the top under this energy. It’s much easier to focus and concentrate on the tasks on hand that we need to take care of. This simply is a much better position for the messenger planet, so we can get more serious about taking care of business once again.

With the planet that rules over our thinking in more systematic Capricorn, we are more focused. Our attitude tends to be more sobering and practical. It’s much easier to concentrate on what needs to get done. Our conversations are more reality-based, usually about business or practical matters. We communicate more logically, as we can be more organized and orderly. Being focused on the here and now can help us plan ahead. Communications tend to be a matter of fact, no-nonsense, and precise. But it’s important to not allow our thoughts to become too cold or rigid, or we can come across as cut off and even harsh during this cycle, when really we are just more focused on business and goals.

There’s actually a whole lot of Capricorn energy going around right now, with it being “Capricorn Season”, and there are four other planets also in the sign represented by the Sea-Goat. This energy encourages us to take life and ourselves more seriously, so it doesn’t support fantasies do much or daydreams about the future. It wants us to just get out and actually do something.

We should be as productive as possible during these cycles! It’s a good time to make out plans and get organized by writing things down, especially your goals. And talk about what you want to do with the people involved. Staying productive makes us happy and puts our minds at ease.

The sign of Capricorn is not about being overly emotional, as it has work to do. It’s about the material things here on the planet and what we value in the physical world. Our thinking tends to be more logical and practical. It may not be the best time to share feelings or for being vulnerable, as we are more concerned and focused on getting what we want and seeing actual results materialize.

Under this energy, we tend to value honesty, integrity, and loyalty. So we should use this time to identify the best means to get a job done. Under this Capricorn influence, we can manage our resources quite well and make mostly practical purchases with our hard-earned cash or money.

It is important to take care of ourselves, and make sure we are taking some time to get away, relax and have some fun from time to time. Under all this Capricorn energy people tend to be more hard on themselves, so we can beuptight. It’s ok to rest and not be constantly doing something. Take a break!

Winter Solstice 2019

For All Zodiac Signs

The Winter Solstice occurs on December 21st, 2019 in the late evening time in the United States when the Sun leaves the sign of Sagittarius and enters the sign of Capricorn, where it remains through Jan 20, 2020.

This also officially starts “Capricorn Season.” Happy Birthday to all my Capricorn folks!

This year’s Winter Solstice is soon followed by a Solar Eclipse on December 26th. This Eclipse can actually be quite interesting as it is very close proximity to lucky Jupiter! And giant Jupiter and surprising Uranus make a fabulous trine connection, this brings up all sorts of interesting things like inventions and big grand ideas as it opens new paths. Innovation is in the air, so we can go out on new exciting adventures. I hope you all get to celebrate this magical season full of wonder and excitement.

All of these Cosmic connections make for some pretty amazing energies to be honest! These planetary combinations bring in an extra dose of love, happiness, and good fortune for all of us to share. Which is perfect timing for the Holidays! But there also might be some unexpected twists and turns, so just hang on for the ride.

The Sun in Capricorn is a time to get motivated and take care of business. We are being reminded by the Cosmos to respect the physical world and the laws of nature under this influence. There can be a deeper appreciation for structure and order. Our motivation comes from a need to be responsible, as our ambitions and respect for law and order our strong. And clear boundaries are drawn out and simple rules are followed, which helps us feel more in control of ourselves and our lives. Simple everyday tasks and responsibilities are easily completed and taken more seriously.

During this cycle, we can start working on our long-term goals, as we can manifest some stability for our future. Under the Sun in Capricorn, we can feel quite satisfied if we get tasks and work completed because this gives us a stronger sense of accomplishment As we look for tangible results, and start to realize what will last and what won’t. We’re much more comfortable working in an already established situation, where we know our boundaries during Capricorn Season.

Weekend Update Dec 21 & 22

The Moon shifts into the sign of Scorpio for a few days which creates a more passionate, intense energy. This can help us get motivated to gr our last-minute holiday preparations together. However, if we fall into our emotions for whatever reason we can get lost in them and become obsessed with a need to analyze ourselves and others. This is a time that the truth tends to come out, so think about what you’re saying before you speak!

This is an amazing opportunity to open up to healing yourself and others through your spiritual heart. (That place within yourself that feels love.)

Venus the planet of love aligns with wounded healer/teacher Chiron. There may be challenges or struggles as values and tastes clash, or we can feel torn between wanting closeness and needing our freedom. We can get lost quickly, because we can be quite impulsive if we feel attracted to someone. There’s a deeper pull towards buying material things, (Which is not so good in this day and age with the Holidays coming up! ) Watch your wallets folks, you can seriously go overboard. Some of you will be able to really focus on your relationships and healing. But we can feel quite moody and our emotions can be up and down, this can lead to new commitments.

Over the weekend things can get a bit intense when the planet of love, Venus squares the planet of change and rebellion, Uranus. This can cause unexpected upsets and arguments especially in our close personal relationships with friends and family. So watch yourself at any family gatherings over the weekend, things can get testy. If you know there will be someone you will see that you don’t like then you may want to skip the event. But if you think it will be cool, then just stay aware and if any drama starts up to be ready to get out of there if need be.

Now the good news is the planet Mars which motivates us is in a rather lucky aspect, this can give us a major boost of energy to get things done. This influence can have us feeling strong and vital, and it can motivate us to finish whatever we start. It can actually be a successful day if you can keep things calm.

The Last Full Moon of 2019

The Last Full Moon of 2019 is slowly building up energy now, and this is right before Eclipse Season begins.

The December Full Moon illuminates in the sign of Gemini (represented by the twins of the Zodiac) on the 11th or 12th, depending on what part of the world you live in. So during this time, you may see things show up or happen in pairs. 

The Universe gives the gift of clarity during a Full Moon, and highlights the duality in your life. This helps you see all sides of any given situation or the whole picture. You can feel conflicted about something in your life and want to take action, but it’s really best to wait until the day after the Full Moon occurs to make any important decisions or changes. 

Love Is Serious Business! On Dec. 11th the Goddess of Love herself, Venus, meets up with Father Saturn in the sign of Capricorn. This is a time when we mean business about our love lives and financial responsibilities. A serious commitment or proposal could take place.

On Dec 12th, the Full Moon will reach its peak of fullness at 12:12 AM EST on the 12th day of the 12 month of the year! That’s pretty amazing and rare! This energy is magical and can help you create your future. What do you need to let go of so you can move forward? What needs to be released? 

It’s time to Set those Intentions! This is a very potent Full Moon and the last one of the year, so you don’t want to miss out. If you can’t stay up until Midnight, make sure to Set Intentions. Practice doing energy work or rituals on Dec. 11th, when there’s a good view of the Moon. 

Full Moons are the best time in a calendar month to work on letting go of what is no longer working or serving you. This particular energy helps you release what you don’t want to carry into the New Year.

During this Full Moon, you should work on letting go of any problems you have had, especially ones from last summer when the last Eclipse came together in July. There may be some unresolved issues that started back then that need your time and attention. This Full Moon energy might be an opportunity to fix something or gain some closure.

December is, of course, a very busy month, but we need to take this time (just for a day or two) and reflect on what we want to release from our life. So that we won’t bring any bad juju into 2020! Doing some sort of ritual under this energy can help give your spiritual wellness the boost it needs to make some magic happen.

This Full Moon brings new and fresh opportunities into our relationships as well. It may help you get some closure if needed. The Zodiac Sun Signs Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, and Virgo may feel this Full Moon more strongly, as it pushes you to see the things you need to change in your life. But remember this Full Moon energy can be felt by all of us.

Last Full Moon of the Decade

This Full Moon is the last Full Moon of this Decade (2010-2019). The Cosmos is trying to tell us that it’s a strong time for Closure! Are you ready to complete this chapter of your life and start a new one? This is the energy you have been waiting for. 

Synchronicity – 12th day of the 12th month of the year that equals 12 (2+0+1+9 =12)

This Full Moon occurs at the portal gate of 12. Numerologically speaking, 12 is not just a number that equals 3. It’s a special and very potent number. Throughout history witches, priests, Astrologers, and different spiritualities of all kinds knew the importance of the number 12.

  • 12 are the Months of the Year
  • 12 are the Zodiac Signs
  • 12 are the principal Gods and Goddesses of  Olympus
  • 12 are the disciples of Jesus Christ
  • 12 are the tribes of Israel according to the Old Testament
  • 12 are the Labours (Challenges) of Hercules
  • 12 are the Magical hours of the Day
  • 12 are the Magical hours of the Night

Therefore, the Full Moon will be drenched in the Power of 12.
12 is the number of perfection, the number of Universal Wisdom and immense power. It is believed to be the number of the Angels and their power. 

The Triple Conjunction that occurs right with the Full Moon is a very powerful energy. 

Try to lighten up as much as you can during this Full Moon. Don’t allow your inner-critic to take over. This is not a good time to beat yourself up, it is a time to focus on your inner healing journey.

Lovely Venus is very strong during this Full Moon, and just like any good woman who knows what she wants, she can trigger you with the truth about the issues in your relationships. Venus is smack in between Saturn and Pluto, all forming a conjunction. This can make you feel powerful, assertive, but also uncertain. It’s a good time to set clear boundaries with your nearest and dearest, but it can be rather difficult to end a relationship, especially with it being the Holiday Season. Remember you have to do what’s best for you, so ignore those folks who tell you what to do. 

Let go of your fears when it comes to asking for help, after all the Moon is in Gemini which is the sign of the twins. Perhaps this means we aren’t meant to work on our problems alone during this time, maybe it’s best to take the help. 

This Full Moon may stir up some issues around our finances. During the Holidays we generally spend more money as it is, so we can use this energy to our advantage. Starting now work on your money issues, and make out a plan of action. Make phone calls to settle accounts or make payment arrangements. Whatever you do don’t ignore your financial responsibilities before the Full Moon comes together on the 11th/12th. As it can seriously backfire on you. And if at all possible, put some money away to save. And set some financial goals for next year. Write it all down! 

However, this Full Moon can bring in financial blessings of some sort. If you are already doing well financially, do yourself a favor and find ways to give back. This energy is all about paying it forward, as this helps someone else benefit and can erase some of your Karmic Debt. There’s a strong need to find a balance between giving and receiving. Think about what you actually give back. Are you truly open to receiving? If not you can be unconsciously blocking blessings. That’s definitely something to be working on. 

It is the Holiday Season, so many of you will be around your friends and family more so than usual, which often means drama! There’s going to be moments or triggers, where you are going to need to try really hard to keep your cool. It is a Full Moon, therefore, whatever problems arise will be out in the open to be dealt with. The Moon in Gemini, the sign of information and self-expression, so we can say too much once triggered. Don’t let things get too crazy. It’s best to release how your feeling slowly, so it doesn’t all come pouring out at once. Express yourself if need be, just be mindful about losing your cool. And sometimes a good argument can help fix things. 

Time for Healing! 

You should be using this Full Moon energy to practice self-care. Right after it occurs you can work on finding ways to relax and restore your energies. Just after the Full Moon peaks wounded healer Chiron, (the asteroid of healing) goes Direct from being Retrograde since last July! This Full Moon energy has the power to heal you. This is an ideal time to focus on your health, as it can help you find ways to boost your immune system. It’s important to do something that involves self-care, so if you need to go to the doctor (of any kind), this is a good time to make that appointment. This is amazing energy for you to work on health problems. 

These healing energies are not just about working on your physical well-being, they also can help with your mental and emotional health. If you need someone to chat with about your problems, this is a good time to seek out a therapist of some kind. Or perhaps you just need a friend or family member, or perhaps a Spiritual Advisor of some kind, wink! And if you just can’t bring yourself to reach out for help, perhaps try to do something new or different, like a workout class, new diet regime, start meditation, or a Yoga class. Changing up the energies during this time can work out well. 

The Full Moon in Gemini can help us to be more loving, kind, and compassionate. Our creative nature can come out strong, but you may have to get into situations where you can use it. And since we are feeling more open and can be more sensitive about other people’s feelings, we can use this energy to share love and kindness, that’s a gift. This is something we should be doing all year long, but the Holidays are always a good reminder. 

On Dec. 13th the Full moon energy will still be running quite strong! And Mars makes a sweet Trine connection to spiritual Neptune. This is some serious Psychic Energy! It’s important to listen to your gut instincts and those psychic hunches, or A-Ha moments. Pay attention to your dreams as well, as your intuition will be vibrating very high. Highly sexual otherworldly experiences. 

The Full Moon in Gemini can show you the duality of your life. Just like the two sides of Gemini, it can bring blessings but it might also bring in some opposition. Once the Full Moon energy breaks apart through the weekend you can reflect on just how happy or upset you’ve been with your life in 2019. This energy gives you an opportunity to let go and release anything you’ve been hanging onto emotionally or physically that is no longer working for you. Then you can start the New Year with a new beginning and hopefully a fresh start.

December Astro Forecast

December 2 – Jupiter enters Capricorn
Jupiter joins up with the heavy-hitting planets Saturn and Pluto in ambitious Capricorn. It’s time to pay attention to the areas of your life that you want to build a solid foundation on, so focus on what you want to achieve in the coming New Year. You can meet people who help you get ahead in one way or another. Just remember any hard work you do now will be rewarded. Even though we can receive some much needed help, with so many planets in the sign of Capricorn, there can be challenges as well. Especially, when those who are of authority or who are in charge band together with their combined powers. To rise above these tests and challenges, and meet your goals, you will need to stay focused and concentrate. Keep things practical, and be savvy and strategic, this is not the time to be impulsive or to just wing it! 

December 3 – Venus sextiles Mars
Venus the Goddess of Love and relationships is also in the sign of, you guessed it, Capricorn. Her Cosmic Lover Mars, the planet of aggression, action, and desire is actually in Scorpio right now, and together these two make a powerful couple. This can be a beneficial influence that helps you meet new people romantically. It can help those of you who are already involved in a committed relationship to strengthen the bonds you have already built.

December 8 – Sun squares Neptune
Neptune is the planet that rules over your dreams, fantasies, imagination, and spirituality. With the Sun shining its energy on Neptune, things can feel rather confusing and some of you may feel down and out. But this can be an amazing time to escape your busy life, and get rid of all the distractions, and unplug, or just relax. Using your mind and logic won’t help you find the answers, instead, try a little creativity and some daydreaming perhaps. Don’t worry, because even if you don’t know where you are going or exactly what you want. All of us need some downtime to replenish our energies, so find a place of peace and relaxation, and take a moment to breathe and simply be. The rest of the world will just have to wait. 

December 9 – Mercury enters Sagittarius
Mercury is the planet of communication and expression. When it shifts into the more optimistic sign of Sagittarius are heads fill up with new ideas and we can enjoy fun conversations that may just help us learn better about how to reach our goals. Keep things practical and stay grounded, but express your enthusiasm and you might just succeed. Sagittarius energy demands truth, so all of us will appreciate a good honest discussion at this time. Just be careful not to overdo it, and share your whole life story, as giving to much of your business away can cause problems. This energy can have us telling way to much truth, and then we have to apologize for it later. If you can remember to use tact you won’t feel regretful later. 

December 11 – Venus conjuncts Saturn
Saturn is about taking responsibility as it holds us accountable. So when Venus connects to stern Saturn there can be challenges in your relationships. But you also can gain clarity about the people in your life, this can help you understand better what you want and don’t want. 

December 12 – Full Moon in Gemini
This Full Moon is handing out information and brings news that can make you doubt your current plans. This week is going to be moving very fast, and you might feel stressed out and overwhelmed! But it can also help open your eyes and see the truth about situations that you need to be done with. This is anxious energy, even more so than normal, so some folks can be extremely emotional and high strung, so whatever they are communicating can be illogical. Make no important decisions during this time! Take things nice and slow, and review all the info you have gathered. Once this Full  Moon has passed you will be able to see the whole picture, and then you will know what you should do next.

December 13 – Venus conjuncts Pluto
Venus rules over our relationships and Pluto is about the power and control we have. Conjunctions are often about new beginnings. But this influence can be about our projects, goals, or other people. You can feel powerful during this time, and your energy can run high. Mars enters the sign of Scorpio today and will transit this sign until January 3rd. In Scorpio, Mars is driven and focused on getting what it wants. With Mars shifting into the sign of Scorpio it can be easier to assert yourself in the actions you take. So you can feel more driven and focused to get things done. This is a time when we are more strong-willed, passionate, and resilient.

But we also can go deep into our feelings, and at times we need space to think and process the depths of our emotions, so we can experience some sort of lesson and learn more about our own personal power. This can be a strong time to transform something in your life around your physical well-being, and/or sex life.

Once you are on a mission it can be very difficult for anyone to stop you during this time. Our focus and drive are strong, as we go after what we want! You can feel obsessed with getting to the bottom of a problem, especially if you are frustrated or angry about it. And you might be more interested in revenge, and we all know what a bad idea that can be! Yes, really!

This is a time when we can be fascinated and can get caught up with what others tend to repress, so things that have been hidden, kept secret, denied, or ignored can come out to experience and understand better. The truth will come out once again and be exposed, especially in the actions you take or if you are provoked or angry. Temper, Temper, be mindful about how you communicate with others, you could come off a bit too honest and really hurt someone’s feelings.

If you need to be more assertive, the energy will help you to be more direct, without worrying about apologies. It’s a good time for getting organized, as this energy can give you the drive to declutter your office or storage areas around the house. Mars in Scorpio is a time when we dig deeper and enjoy getting rid of anything old or outdated. We are just simply clearing the energies out to bring in something new, which can be healing. So throw out those old photo albums of your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend, or get rid of anything that’s holding onto the energy from your past negative experiences. Throw it out, it’s time to let go and move forward!

We don’t want to avoid important issues now. Because we are kind of attracted to chaos and crisis which go hand in hand with Mars in Scorpio. Setting Intentions under the Full Moon!

“Setting Intentions with the Full Moon” 

This is an opportune time to ask the Universe to release whatever energies you need to let go or do away with, and also what doesn’t serve you anymore. The intentions that are set during a “Full Moon” will set you on the right path towards your hopes, wishes, and desires. This is the best time to do some energy work and release old pains and experiences that just have held you down or blocked you up! It’s time to get the old stuff out so the good stuff can come in! 

During the Full Moon, we often experience an energy shift, so we must release the old energies to open things up, so we can get on the right path in life that helps us bring new and fresh energy.

What to Release under a Full Moon:

* Lower energies

* Negative patterns or bad habits

* Unhealthy situations or relationships

What to work on during the Full Moon:

*Letting go of both the people and situations that aren’t working anymore. And sometimes it is just an attitude or thought

*Clearing space for new energies to come in

*Being GRATEFUL for what you already have and what will be

This is the time when you should have a conversation with the Universe, (your higher power, Spirit Guides, Angels, God, etc!) whatever you believe in! Ask for the “Full Moon” to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led down a path towards your dreams and goals during your Setting Intentions rituals.

Patience is important! Remember to allow the time needed for the Moon to light the way, as it doesn’t always happen right away. But remember often this kind of work is magical and sometimes the things you want or ask for just show up! The “Full Moon” illuminates the truth and is symbolic for helping us see all that has been hidden, secret, tucked away, or suppressed. So ask for the truth to be revealed during this time. 

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the Full Moon. Follow the steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your Sacred Space


Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do your Full Moon work. You are simply calling in positive energies to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies. Think about where you’re going to perform your energy work. Because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit, sleep or do spiritual work! This is why you feel so comfy in your favorite chair, it feels safe and secure because you have created an energy vortex in that spot or space.

Step Two: Set the Atmosphere

Set the mood or your Full Moon Ritual. Burn some special incense, light some candles (colors do have different meanings) and play some mood or ambient music that helps you feel spiritually connected to the Universal energy you see tapping into. This can be a very different experience for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever tools make you feel calm and peaceful. Because that’s the kind of energy you want to bring into your life.

Step Three: Let It Out

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Writing pen to paper can be magical! It helps sync up the mind and body! Many try using their electronic devices but it just doesn’t seem to have the same effect. But to each their own. Then you write about what you’d like the Universe to bring in and remove. Simply write your deepest truths, wishes, and questions down. Think about what energies you’re trying to let go of and release. Write the letter like as if you were talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to push out of your life, and what energy you’re trying to bring in, and be detailed but don’t go overboard. 

It’s important to be patient and allow your work to take ahold during this process. And just know sometimes things take time. Often we just miss the signs and messages the Universe is sending because they are so subtle. They are not always so earth-shattering signs or A-ha moments that show up like a lightning bolt! More often it’s simply a bird landing in your backyard that has some sort of message or meaning for you, look up Animal Totems. You can hear a song on the radio that seems to have special meaning just for you, or see a movie and a scene seems to resonate with you on a deep personal level. Look for signs on everyday life and they just magically appear. If you pay attention and see everything as a sign, you will start to quickly pick up on what the Universe is trying to tell you! Messages and signs are always everywhere for us.

As you’re doing this work and Setting your Intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about, for example: Ask for what you are choosing to come into your life? What changes would you like to see happen? What are you or should you be letting go of? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now? What do you want to release? Think about your long-term goals and your future, and what energy you’d like to create over the coming months.

Step Four: Visualize what you’re Creating

Now you’re going to visualize what you have written. First get comfortable again, preferably in the same place and read what you wrote very closely. Then close your eyes and take some long deep breaths, in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, (that’s in the middle of your chest, not your actual pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Next, Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with a Soul-Mate, driving that new car, (just smell that new car smell!) Don’t just think about what you want, but make sure and “FEEL IT,” as if you are really experiencing what you’re visualizing. If this makes you laugh, cry, scream, or whatever, then go with it.

Step Five: Gratitude

It’s very important to work on releasing what you don’t want in your life during a Full Moon, but it’s equally as important to not leave a VOID after you are done. So you need to fill that space from releasing with gratitude. Being grateful for what you have and around the work you are doing. When we focus on what it is we don’t have we are focusing on “Lack”, and that will only bring in the things we don’t want. Remember what we put our attention on is what will show up! So instead think and feel the things you are grateful for in your heart. Think about what you already have and be grateful for that. Then you will attract more of that can of energy, which in turn brings in some better feeling stuff! Don’t be held captive by your pains and past trauma, call in the good stuff folks. Yes, you deserve something good, wonderful and amazing! 

Allow the Universe to show you what path to follow over the next month, and let the Full Moon light up the way! Hopefully, you’ll at the very least be put on a path towards what you truly desire, all while letting go of what you don’t need anymore, it’s truly miraculous.

Mercury goes Retrograde on Halloween October 31st, 2019 and runs through November 17, 2019.

Mercury is currently in the sign of Scorpio, this is a deep, potent, psychological energy. Therefore we go into a more private introverted place that has us exploring the deeper parts of our minds and psyche, as we learn truths that come from the depths of our souls. What is considered to be taboo or secret comes out in the open. The truth comes out to be told! The sign of Scorpio, after all, is the sign of regeneration, as it teaches all of us that sometimes we must fall to pieces and let something end or die off to start over again. If we take this cycle to plan and strategize we can make things happen once it’s over! As we go back to revisit and revise our plans we can go much deeper than usual while in this cycle and uncover ways to improve our lives and ourselves.

Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even though it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the Cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we can have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde (Rx for short) is that time out, it’s an opportunity to get caught up with life, and a time to unplug and take a long deep breath. It’s also a great time to take some time off from our responsibilities if at all possible, maybe taking a little vacay and focus on reworking anything that needs to be done, or finishing projects that were never done to completion, while Mercury rules over our minds and thoughts. When this fast-moving planet goes into Retrograde we start to perceive things in a very different and unique way.

Mercury in Rx like all Retrograde planets is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new Astrological fad! Planets have always gone into Retrograde cycles and will continue to. So every once in a while we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Rx cycle does is help us to take a breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to understand as this cycle takes hold that it’s a time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to research, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.

Mercury rules over our minds and how we process information, so this is a time to observe our lives from an outside perspective, which is truly a gift. From this space, we have the rare opportunity to see the contrast in our lives and what is working and what isn’t. The only problem is we live in a time of INFORMATION and after all, Mercury is the planet that delivers info, but during its Retrograde cycles, it wants us to simply UNPLUG and take a step back from our normal everyday routines and lives, and to not be online or on our phones, CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT! But if we were to stop using all of our electronic devices and take work off, and simply review our lives it would be a much better experience. The reality is only a few of you reading this are actually able to do this. So the challenge is in learning how to handle Mercury in Retrograde and still do our lives. Those of you who already pay attention to Mercury in Rx’s cycles understand just how annoying all the misunderstandings, electronic glitches, and snafus can be! So the bottom line is we should learn how to put our phones down from time to time and just simply do life, as this is a time of deep inner reflection.

What Not To Do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

  • Don’t start brand new projects
  • Do not get into arguments, avoid critical folks and tense people or situations.
  • Do Not Sign Contracts or New Agreements
  • Avoid Travel
  • Do Not take misunderstandings personal. Our Minds and Communication is foggy and cloudy.

What To do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

  • Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.
  • Double Check the Facts and any info gathered.
  • Revisit what you need to, like your work.
  • Reconnect with the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.
  • Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved,
    usually start this process two weeks before the actual Retro Cycle.
  • Reorganize your daily life routines.
  • Declutter.
  • Reflect and practice spiritual work.
  • Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what is no longer working, especially in your intimate relationships.

There can be positive things that come from a Mercury in Retrograde cycle that perhaps didn’t cross your mind. Like throwing out old stuff you no longer need or use, and organizing your life. Stay focused on any past opportunities and reconsider them now, see if they’re still an option. Try not to allow any computer glitches or electronic snafus you might be experiencing to upset you too much.

Since it’s the Holiday Season, it’s important to keep a paper trail of whatever you purchase. Mercury is known as the “trickster” of the Zodiac, so it likes to play tricks that make us change our minds suddenly and this causes confusion.

So our focus should be on re-organizing and reflecting. We see the world a little differently during this time, and through these filters, we can have some very important inner revelations. It may not be as easy to communicate under this influence, so remember trying to rationalize everything at this time will just probably cause you more confusion. Logic is out and intuition is in! Mercury Rx periods can be times of heightened inner-awareness, so doing things like meditation, keeping a journal, reworking old plans, reviewing, or reconnecting to your past can be quite helpful. Mercury Rx is also a powerful time to study, particularly for returning to old studies and re-learning or refreshing knowledge around a subject that’s already been started.

This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past, and reconnect you to an old dream or goal to follow through on once this cycle is over, but write it all down for now and plan ahead. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually, it doesn’t work out for the long-run. But it’s nice to reconnect and perhaps sort out any unresolved issues you might have.

Because we are perceiving things differently, and Mercury and the Sun are both in the sign of Scorpio this time around, the truth tends to come out! Certain things that have been suppressed, hidden, secret or unknown suddenly are shown to us during this time. Scorpio’s lessons are about depth, intimacy, and transformation. Anything fake or false will be shown for what it truly is while the Sun is in this sign, so if something or someone is superficial it simply won’t work for you at this time, only the real deal will do! This sign and its energy is the detective of the Zodiac, therefore we are more interested in getting to the bottom of our problems, as we work at uncovering what’s been hidden, suppressed, or unseen. We also can be quite obsessed with other people’s problems and can feel a strong urge to help those around us. Scorpio energy also gives us incredible drive and strength, which in turn can help us get through difficult times. So draw upon the Scorpio energy during this time to help you take on difficult tasks or situations in your life.

The Full Moon illuminates on Sunday, October 13, 2019, in the sign Aries. The Moon in trailblazing Aries is an opposition with the Sun in charming Libra.

This year’s Full Hunter’s Moon rises from the sky’s horizon right around sunset, meaning it may appear even bigger and more orange than your typical Full Moon.

The Aries/Libra connection under this particular Full Moon means we are learning how to balance the energies of our “self” with the energies of “others.” Aries is all about being assertive when need be, while Libra is more about compromise. Shadow Side of the Full Moon

This Full Moon is in a tense Square to spooky Pluto which can bring out some deeply buried feelings and rather intense emotions. Sleep may be difficult to come by for a few days before and after this Full Moon peaks because its energy is stimulating. Remain calm, patient, but firm with anyone who loses their cool around you.
