Full Moon in Scorpio

The build-up of energy to the Full Moon in Scorpio on May 18th has begun! This Full Moon marks the beginning of a new energy cycle for all of us! On Saturday afternoon, the Sun in Taurus opposes the Moon in Scorpio and a Full Moon occurs.

The closer to Earth the Moon gets as it builds to go Full the stronger its energies are felt, as this energy intensifies we feel it on a very deep emotional level. You’re probably already feeling it! You might feel nervous, tired, or just anxious, and lots of folks don’t sleep very well when the Full Moon starts to form, which can last through the weekend. Our dreams are usually very strong and vivid during a Full Moon and wThis is an emotional time and our energy is focused more so on romance and our relationships.
Our deepest emotions are what manifests our life! If we understand it or not, due to most of it being unconscious as the Moon rules over this part of us on a deep soul level. If we are aware of it or not! Therefore, it’s important to keep our energies on a higher vibrational level this weekend. If we can sustain a somewhat higher vibration within ourselves then our life will reflect just that and we can manifest our goals, wishes, and desires much easier.
Each month the Full Moon helps us discover certain truths, so as we gain this clarity we can work on specific wishes or desires. The Moon also help us release and let go of situations, people, or energies to make room for whatever new energies we are trying to manifest. Full Moons create endings in this way, and then two weeks later during the next New or Dark Moon we can start planting seeds for something else new to begin, so we are always moving energies in and out of our lives.
During this Full Moon, the Universe is inviting you to work on something specifically! And that all depends on just where the Full Moon is going through your own personal Astrology “Birth Chart”. This tells you what part of your life you should be focusing on, but you probably are already being made of aware of what it is about by now.
Under this particular Full Moon, we have to deal with the Taurus-Scorpio energies and create some sort of balance between what’s considered to be “yours” and “ours!” The energy is focused on how we feel versus our own personal transformation. While the Taurus energy wants us to deal with matters around personal values, material things, possessions, and security. The Scorpio energy rules things like shared possessions, change, discovery, and transformation. The Sun in Taurus encourages us to feel happier by keeping things simple, while the Scorpio Moon is more complex feeling and wants us to dive deeper into the mysteries of life.
This Full Moon is pushing and pulling on us emotionally to find a balance between these two very different energies. And we tend to make some pretty strong emotional declarations during this time, so the pressure is building up within us, and now is the time when this energy has to come out and be released in one way or another! Like a boiling pot of water, something has to overflow.
My best advice is to find constructive ways to release these overwhelming feelings through some sort of self-expression. So if you can talk to a friend and vent about how you are feeling, or maybe write in a journal. Or go somewhere private and vent out loud! Yell, Scream, or Cry out those feelings and let things go and release whatever is bothering you.
Full Moons are about exposing or illuminating issues that are already there, but that has not yet been dealt with.
The Full Moon will light up any conflict you might having right now and intensity it! With the Moon all shiny and full in the night sky, it is symbolic for any illumination that occurs in our own lives. But since these feelings and our Ah-ha moments are new and emotional, they can come out suddenly! It’s the right time to express ourselves and for these feelings to just come out into the open. But proceed with caution, since we are just learning ourselves what these energies are about, so we may be quite irrational and not make a lot of sense as of yet!
This Full Moon also is occurring right around the time that Venus and Uranus align which can add surprises and revelations. This alignment also connects to deeper feeling Pluto which can cause strong need to make some sort of changes that feels necessary.

May Monthly Forecast

The month of May might seem to start off a little slow but that’s due to Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto’s very strong Retrograde phases, and with Mercury still in the impulsive sign of Aries, we may feel like making decisions but can be confused about what direction to take. One thing these Retrograde planets are doing is giving us grand ideas and inspiration, but our progress has sort of came to a standstill and it can feel like you’re trying to move a brick wall at times. This is a time to wait it out if at all possible, but I’ve learned most folks refuse to go with the flow of the Cosmic energies, unfortunately, so if you must make a major decision of some kind take into consideration this is a time of delays and cutbacks, and there can be many different things that try and stop you from making progress. But this is only temporary folks, we are only in Retrograde Season for the next three and half months. 

On May 1st the planets Uranus and Neptune from a somewhat tense semi-square for the last time, but you can feel this all week long. This long-term transit has been in play, off and on since August of 2017. With this aspect, we have been seeking inspiration in one way or as this connection grows stronger and forms once again, we might feel restless if our dreams are not coming together in a way we like or want, so we might need to make some sort of big change. We can easily deceive ourselves in some way or others believing we are going to get something that we just can not have at this time, as we can go on some sort of tangent and act on a whim. But only to realize after this influence breaks apart that it wasn’t going to stay together in the first place. In the weeks ahead with Mercury separating from Uranus by just one degree, our progressive ideas and inspired thoughts can start to come together.

A New Moon occurs on the 4th in the sign of Taurus, and we are more motivated to take charge of things, but we must be practical and use common sense to achieve what we want, especially if it has anything to do with making ourselves feel more safe or secure in some way. This is a good energy to think about your relationship with money and your possessions, and to learn what it is we truly value and what genuinely makes us feel more happy and content with life. We should be focusing on what it is we can do to increase our own feelings of self-worth, and how to make our lives more simple. This is also a great time to reconnect with the outside world, so with nature and our bodies, and to our senses, for example, what makes us feel good, like food, music, and sexual activity. Under this lunation, we can feel a sense of purpose and like we are on a mission, as we are ready to take on projects that bring personal pleasure. This is a manifesting New Moon under the sign of Taurus, so we should make sure to take some time to Set Intentions with the cosmos and write out our wish lists about what kind of energy and events we would like to see unfold next in our lives! What paths do you want to head down next? What would bring you the most pleasure?

Mercury makes a shift on May 6 into the sign of much more slowed-down Taurus, as it moves out of the fast-moving sign of Aries, so we can see big changes. This energy slows our thinking process and the way we communicate down a notch, as we enjoy living in the present moment and savoring all that is pleasurable and beautiful. Over the next month, our way thinking is more practical, and we now see our inspired ideas come alive and make a difference in the physical world. 

Venus is in Taurus from May 15-June 8 2019.Venus while in the sign of sensual and natural Taurus, can have us feeling more content but also possessive when it comes to love. We seek and value not only what’s been tried and true in the past in our relationships, but what will last and has staying power. Our desire for anything pleasurable it super strong, including our appetite, so lots of folks will be eating up their emotions! Under this Taurus energy, we are more focused on the here and now, or the present moment, as we want to explore what makes our senses come alive! With Venus in the sign of Taurus, we tend to show our love through physical expressions, and romance is very important to us now. We can get a little overbearing with the object of our affection and hold on tightly to someone we love, but we should be careful not to smother them. The shadow side of this excessiveness is we can treat our partners like objects that we own or just want to have around. And since Venus often rules over our finances or money, as well, we do look for a business to be practical and solid, but also want to only buy what is considered to be of higher quality (often what we cannot afford.) Holding on to our possessions is more likely now.

Mars is in Cancer from May 15-July 1 2019. Mars carefully sidesteps through the sensitive, complicated waters of Cancer in May.  Mars is the planet of war and strategy, it rules over our physical actions and our passions. We will pursue our goals consistently, but we avoid a direct approach and go after these things in our own way and in our own time. We are less likely to move forward towards our desires and goals with Mars in the sign of Cancer. It is very important that we meet goals and plans, but we can end up diving into our own insecurities, vulnerabilities, hidden agendas, and old emotional wounds. We can learn how to use some self-nurturing tactics along the way. It may be difficult to control our temperament because our mood swings dictate how we do things or when we do them. We’re not overly aggressive but more defensive, as keeping our security is a priority! Therefore, we can be more cautious and conservative in this energy, but we will “Fight” for or on the behalf of those that are near and dear to our hearts.

The Full Moon occurs on May 18 in the sign of Scorpio. This Full Moon can make us feel totally restless. This energy has already been making some of you feel a little nervous over the past week or so, it can make us feel like something is wrong or about to happen. As with any Full Moon, we can feel pushed and pulled on under the Sun and Moon in their tense connection in two opposing signs, and this time around it’s between the Sun in Taurus and the Moon in Scorpio. Luckily, this Full Moon is making harmonious connections to Pluto and Saturn which means we just might have exactly what we need to make some sort of change. This Full Moon energy has us digging deeply, it’s a time of transformation, strategy, love, and generosity, with no space for those who are being false. At its worst, this Scorpio energy can also cause issues with control, manipulation, jealousy, obsession, vengeance, deceit, paranoia, and we can feel overly suspicious. This Full Moon is a strong reminder that we need to think about those who are good to us and appreciate the folks who help with their love and support. We need to listen to others needs, wants, and opinions. This is a time of endings and rebirth.

Happy Gemini Season! On May 20, the Sun slips into more easier going Gemini, so our relationships may move beyond what is false or superficial, and we may just want to make a long-lasting commitment of some kind. A lot of folks tend to get engaged and married during Gemini Season for a reason. Any long-term investments you have been thinking of or planning out can be made now and that includes your relationships. This is a time when we enjoy meeting and schmoozing with others, as we can have all those wonderful brilliant conversations that are quite intellectually stimulating. This actually is a time to collect information and save it for later, you never know how valuable it might become.

A time for Healing! There are two rather nice influences for healing that come together on the 21 and 22, but can affect us weeks before these dates.

On the 21, powerful Pluto and Chiron, the wounded healer and teacher align, and this allows our creativity to flow strong, we are more clever when it comes to solving mysteries in our lives and for both ourselves and others, and when figuring out problems, particularly those issues that may have been holding us back in some way from our destined path in life, towards personal growth and development. Overall, this energy can help us see past human flaws and evolve for a higher purpose, which is about forgiveness and healing.

On the 22nd, dreamy Neptune forms a lovely trine connection with the destined North Node of the Moon, this is a beautiful time and an opportunity to get in touch with your intuition. This helps us trust ourselves to be on the right path toward our own personal improvement, growth, and enlightenment. But his is also a good time to release any negative energies that are holding us back from growing. During this time it might be easier to let go of matters that have caused us pain or frustrations. This is a wonderful few days to meet with others who support our same values, and some of them might even help us see our own potential more clearly.

NEW MOON IN ARIES-TRAILBLAZING

“HAPPY NEW MOON DAY!”

The NEW MOON is in the sign of ARIES this April of 19, and it brings in fresh and new energy. This particular trailblazing NEW MOON is when the Sun in ARIES and the MOON in ARIES both make a rather harmonious connection. ARIES energy is always about New Beginnings, and NEW MOON’S are about starting a NEW CYCLE in our life. So this fiery lunation is strong and potent! When we think of Spring time it’s about renewal and new Beginnings, and this is the perfect energy to line up right along with the start of the new season.

During this time we should be able to take the lead and move forward in our lives, and be the warrior like this ARIES energy and charge ahead! This is the time to take action, try something new and innovative, and go after what you want. Don’t be afraid and let your confidence take you where it needs to. ARIES energy can help you learn how to be assertive without being harmful. It’s a time to take charge of our lives and start something new and different. The lessons ARIES hands out is about staying young, and connecting to your inner child in some way, but it’s also trying to teach you how to be bold and learn more about your own personal courage. 

Now that mental MERCURY is freshly out of its Retrograde cycle, the energy of strength helps you to better understand yourself, so you can do some soul searching through journal-keeping, meditation, or exercise. You have an opportunity to start this cycle off on a good note and make the changes you’ve been patiently waiting to make while MERCURY was in RETROGRADE, it was a long one. 

This is a good time to set goals, plans, and commitments that are more realistic. “Go big and go hard” is a good ARIES Mantra, no matter how big or small you set your sights, you should start to notice things happening within a few weeks by the next FULL MOON. Later, you may get to reap the rewards from whatever new beginnings you begin. 

ARIES is the first sign of the ZODIAC, so this being a NEW MOON makes it especially strong with opportunity for New Beginnings. It is a time to actually act on impulse if you are careful of course, follow your gut instincts, your intuition, and take some risks. Aries is a sign that teaches us to take action and learn through our experiences. So get out there and have some sort of adventure! 

This is also a good cycle to learn more about how to keep things real, ARIES teaches all of us a valuable lesson around expressing ourselves in a more authentic way and without being false. This helps you to better rely on yourself and to be happy about doing so, so you can be put you on a path towards finding inner peace and ridding any anxiety you may be experiencing around being alone. Then you can be self-sufficient and not worry so much about blaming those who weren’t always there.

However, this particular NEW MOON is forming a tense square to taskmaster SATURN, which means some paths towards our New Beginnings might be blocked. Some kind of plan or expectations you have may not startmoving as quickly as you thought they would.Hopefully, since we are in a unique time Astrologically with NO major planets or cosmic bodies in RETROGRADE, eventually theenergies will get moving after we deal withSATURN’S challenges.

“How does the ‘Full Moon’ affect you, and how do you utilize its potent energy?”

During a ‘Full Moon’ you have an opportunity to bring about some positive changes in your life if you use this energy wisely. It either can increase the positive energy around you or it can be an emotional wrecking ball, the choice is yours. This guide is a helpful reminder about how to work with the ‘Full Moon’ and its energies.

Remember a ‘Full Moon’ disperses a lot of energy, and that energy pours into each and every one of us. So the key to achieving success during a ‘Full Moon’ is to stay calm and embrace its positive effects. Whatever is going on with your mind, body and spirit will certainly be felt much stronger during a ‘Full Moon’, and our emotions can seem extremely intense. A ‘Full Moons’ energy is very powerful, so it’s important to know where you’re directing it. You can start by staying focused on positive intentions from your heart. Which means being real and authentic with yourself.

We’ve all heard of how the ‘Full Moon’ affects human behavior, causing chaos; as it fills up emergency rooms, but we also see random acts of crime spike dramatically during a Full Lunar cycle. Not only does the Moon actually create the tides in the ocean, science has also proven that the ocean literally ‘swells’ during a ‘Full Moon.’ The human body is made up of around 70% water. If the ‘Full Moon’ can move an entire ocean it certainly can and does have an impact on our human bodies that are mostly made of water. Water is strongly associated with and symbolizes our emotional well-being.

Ask yourself just how much personal power you have? The ‘Full Moons’ energy is both intense and loving. If you are aware of these energies, it gives you an opportunity every month for both emotional and spiritual growth. 1. Don’t allow arguing and don’t get angry!

If you just can’t let something go and must express yourself, try writing how you’re feeling down or telling a friend, and wait for at least a few days after the ‘Full Moon’ and then again write down how you’re feeling, see the comparison. Everything is going to be more intense and amplified. So just keep the energy flowing and moving in a happy, more uplifting direction.

2. Think positive thoughts!

During the ‘Full Moon’ each month, you have very powerful, strong energies working in your corner. So if you can balance your emotions and focus on positive thoughts, they’ll be energized and multiplied. If you spend even a short amount of time upon waking and before going to sleep, visualizing what you truly desire, or on what’s good or positive in your life while being thankful for your blessings…it can be magical! Remember “the attitude of gratitude.”

For example, write a gratitude list and some thank you notes to the Universe. Take walks and take in the beauty that is around you. Look in a mirror and say positive affirmations to yourself, (yes this really works.) Visualize positive thoughts and/or desires being sprinkled with “Moon Dust” and watch them grow like flowers in a garden.

3. Visualize your Dreams manifesting.

The ‘Full Moon’ is the right time to do manifestation work around releasing what is no longer working or serving you. So sharpen your techniques by using your imagination to set goals. Take the time to write what you would like to manifest and what energy you’d like to see gone or are done with. You could even make a Vision Board with pictures that represent your goals, it can be the actual goal or the word that represents your dreams and wishes, place them on a cork board, make a collage and hang it up on a wall so you can see it every day. This puts you in a constant state of awareness and helps bring the energies that you want to you. When you spend time focusing on your dreams and goals, or Setting Intentions as it’s called, during the ‘Full Moon’ it can give you an energy boost!

4. Practice Meditation alone or with others.

The ‘Full Moon’ pours out so much energy, that meditating during one can create a calm and still energy that is profoundly strong. Finding a sacred space to practice meditation can help tremendously. There’s a lot of groups that meditate during a ‘Full Moon’, so look for spiritual groups, centers, or online groups that come together to meditate. It can be a very powerful healing and manifest work.

5. Send others blessings, be of service, practice acts of kindness.

Having this powerful energy at your disposal makes a ‘Full Moon’ the opportune time to pay it forward! Send healing energies, forgiveness, white light and energy out… out to everyone, you can think of, including strangers. Send loving and kind energy to your friends and family. Then go deeper and send peaceful energy out to the world (which we need more than ever), think of the places in the world that are experiencing strife, hardships, poverty, or war. This can open doors for those who are in need.

Whatever you believe in or faith you might have you can’t deny the way you feel during a ‘Full Moon,’ so at the very least take one small step from your heart and try to work with this energy. Test your theories and have a Blessed Full Moon!

December 2018 Astro Forecast

These are interesting times from an Astrological Standpoint and December of 2018 is no exception, mind you things should get a little easier or at least our day to day activities will start to calm down a bit, as the shifts occurring are going to help pull us from the strangeness of Retrograde madness that we have been in for so long. 

The first week of December we are already dealing with the Goddess herself Venus moving into the sign of Scorpio. This means all you sexy Scorpio’s will be even more sexy than usual! Ha! Venus in this sign makes for an extra attractive next several weeks for all the Signs, but if you are a Scorpio Sun or Rising Sign you should talk advantage of it. 

Also this month, our minds can be a bit obsessed with issues that are both fascinating and disturbing, when mental Mercury in Retrograde (backwards) moves back into the sign of Scorpio on Dec 1st, this brings back old theories, ideas, and suspicions about what truth lies beneath the surface. MERCURY MOVES OUT OF RETROGRADE!!!!! 

Mercury stations direct on December 6th and leaves its Retrograde cycle. At this point, Uranus in fiery Aries will be the ONLY PLANET left in RETROGRADE until early January 2018, Woohoo! This will be a welcome break from all those planets in Retrograde starting last summer through late fall! 2018 has been a strong time for introspection and insight into ourselves, it was also a time of confusion. But we will be able to have more clarity around the way we both think and feel, and this helps us move forward and meet our goals for the upcoming year. 

Have you been having intense Dreams lately? Lots of folks have been having intense or vivid dreams lately, some about old lovers, family members, or friends that they haven’t seen for a while. Some of these dreams are more soul visitations, where we meet up with friends or lovers and just simply hang out and play catch up! With Mars and Neptune slowly coming together, it can bring in quite potent and vivid dreams or visitations from those who have crossed over. It’s a good idea to write them down because they can have special meaning later. 

CHALLENGES

There is a bit of challenging energy coming together from Dec 3-5 when the Sun makes a tense Square to fiery Mars and Neptune! Sneaky more unethical folks can be sneaking around trying to get anything they can from you. Pay attention and watch for those folks who claim to be something they are not or who are not what they appear to be. The more Narcissistic, underhanded people will be sniffing around more so than usual. This influence also brings a sort of sneaky energy out of the people you already know or are associated with in some way, or even those folks you do business with! So again pay attention and don’t let someone take advantage of you.

NEW MOON

There’s a New Moon coming together in the sign of quick-thinking Sagittarius, around midnight on Dec 6th here in the United States, or in the wee hours of the morning on the 7th depending on what time zone you live in. This is the most opportune time to Set Intentions for new beginnings and to do some sort of manifesting ritual. Basically, you’re just working with the Cosmic energies of the Moon in one way or another! 

This particular New Moon is heavily influenced by another connection or what’s called a conjunction between Mars and Neptune both in Pisces. This helps us focus more so on our spirituality as we can feel like doing something that helps us connect into the Universal energies, usually, this is a time when we have a lot of faith and our beliefs are stronger more so than usual with it being Sagittarius Season and all, but we tend to forget the truth about why we celebrate these Holidays in the first place, even though our faith in certain higher purposes or powers is stronger. In all actuality no matter what you believe in or faith you follow, this is a time that marks a new season and the Winter Solstice, but these influences just might help us discover the true meaning around why we celebrate the Holidays around the globe, and it’s much more than just buying each other gifts!

But a warning comes along with this energy, as folks tend to also overindulge and eat and drink too much. Do Not Drink And Drive during this time. Be cautious around folks who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This is a great weekend for Psychic Readings and Spiritual Classes, or for doing anything that helps with spiritual development, it’s just not so good for vices. 

There’s a long-term tense Square connection between reckless Uranus and the master of escape Neptune, it’s brought back to life for the last time on December 15th. This aspect has been setting the bar pretty high around raising our consciousness or awareness since mid-2017 and will run strong through mid-2019. But this has been a long time coming as this energy started actually a long time ago back in 1993, when these two planets aligned in Capricorn. 

The Solstice, Holidays, and New Years Astrological Preview

The Winter Solstice is on Friday, December 21st when the Sun Enters Capricorn and it officially becomes “Capricorn Season,” but at the exact same time loving Venus and dreamy Neptune are in perfect harmony. And mental Mercury is conjunct Jupiter, this is all some pretty amazing energy, to be honest folks. These planetary combinations bring in an extra dose of love, happiness, and good fortune for all of us to share. 

Then the Full Moon occurs on Saturday the 22nd, in its home sign of more sensitive Cancer. During the Christmas Holiday time, the Cosmos lines up and brings in the energy of fun as we feel more like being social, so throwing some sort of Holiday shindig in your own home can go quite well, since the Moon will be in the sign that loves its shell or home the most, Cancer. Traveling can be much easier the week before the Christmas Holiday, than the actual week of Christmas, as there are going to be delays and other unforseen obstacles for traveling during that time. 
This Full Moon period has a slightly restrained quality, with the masculine facets of the Sun and Saturn in Capricorn opposing the Cancer Moon’s feminine, intuitive energy.

On Christmas Day, the Moon will be in more generous Leo and even the rest of that week seems to be pretty calm, at least from an Astrological viewpoint!

While mindful, mental Mercury is in the sign of soulful Scorpio from December 1st through December 12, our thoughts and communications are more deep and intense, we can be extremely sharp, profound, and analytical. Our way of thinking can also be one-track minded, focused, and even obsessive at times. But we’re also more active, witty, resourceful, perceptive, positive, determined, and inventive, as our minds are capable of great mental focus and concentration. We can be much more direct and to the point when communicating, and sometimes even offensive, as we tend to say what we feel and refuse to sugar coat things!

The truth tends to be sought out around all that is hidden, unknown, or unseen! So we tend to pay attention and dig deeper, as our focus and thoughts are strong and profound. We may search for ways to be more motivated to go deeper about anything intellectual, so whatever we are thinking or talking about tends to be looked at more deeply, and we may not know when to stop or when enough is enough! Our intuition and psychic abilities are also very strong, and at times we are capable of profound insights, we have a way of seeing people and events for their true authentic nature, as we tend to feel people’s true intentions no matter what they are communicating. We don’t like anything that is superficial or fake, especially when communicating we favor deep more meaningful conversations. 

Since the planet Mercury rules our thoughts and the way we communicate, our minds can be dominated by strong emotional undercurrents and desires with Mercury being in Scorpio, and this can overpower our way of thinking, especially around things like Sex. It is going to be a sexy time for sure under Scorpio’s influence, for all the signs! Due to Mercury still being Retrograde (backward motion) while changing signs into Scorpio, we may continue to review or reassess our finances, relationships, motivations, and passions. It’s time to start listening to your messages, I’m talking about the messages the Universe, the Cosmos or whatever you want to call it is trying to send to you. This week there’s going to be many signs from the Universe and they can show up in the most unusual, bizarre, and strange ways. But there will be some that are very clear. Many people believe that if they get a sign more than once especially if you get them twice, and definitely if you get them three times, that is not just a coincidence, it’s not something you should just ignore because it truly means something.

We have been under an extremely intense energy, that’s also been sort of a sad really since October 3rd, with Venus the planet of love & money in Retrograde. But as of the 16th, Venus has gone direct again finally, so relationships and our finances can finally get back on track again. If you broke up with somebody during this time and you’re hoping to mend your relationships perhaps, you probably have more of a fighting chance with Venus back and moving the right way again. This Transit can possibly help you reconcile, but if that’s not always how these things work out, so if that’s what you are experiencing then the relationship was likely never meant to be or was supposed to end. Mercury went into its complete Retrograde cycle on the 16th! And this Mercury in Retrograde is proving to be quite interesting thus far, it’s time to double-check everything you’re doing even if you think you’ve already done so, at least through December the 6th when this cycle ends. There will be a period of time after December 6th where communications can be kind of wonky, so for two weeks after we just have to get adjusted to Mercury going back to its normal pace, while it’s in it’s after Retrograde “Shadow Period.”

It either can increase the positive energy around you or it can be an emotional wrecking ball, the choice is yours. This guide is a helpful reminder about how to work with the ‘Full Moon’ and its energies.

Remember a ‘Full Moon’ disperses a lot of energy, and that energy pours into each and every one of us. So the key to achieving success during a ‘Full Moon’ is to stay calm and embrace its positive effects. Whatever is going on with your mind, body and spirit will certainly be felt much stronger during a ‘Full Moon’, and our emotions can seem extremely intense. A ‘Full Moons’ energy is very powerful, so it’s important to know where you’re directing it. You can start by staying focused on positive intentions from your heart. Which means being real and authentic with yourself.

We’ve all heard of how the ‘Full Moon’ affects human behavior, causing chaos; as it fills up emergency rooms, but we also see random acts of crime spike dramatically during a Full Lunar cycle. Not only does the Moon actually create the tides in the ocean, science has also proven that the ocean literally ‘swells’ during a ‘Full Moon.’ The human body is made up of around 70% water. 2. Think positive thoughts!

During the ‘Full Moon’ each month, you have very powerful, strong energies working in your corner. So if you can balance your emotions and focus on positive thoughts, they’ll be energized and multiplied. If you spend even a short amount of time upon waking and before going to sleep, visualizing what you truly desire, or on what’s good or positive in your life while being thankful for your blessings…it can be magical! Remember “the attitude of gratitude.”

For example, write a gratitude list and some thank you notes to the Universe. Take walks and take in the beauty that is around you. Look in a mirror and say positive affirmations to yourself, (yes this really works.) Visualize positive thoughts and/or desires being sprinkled with “Moon Dust” and watch them grow like flowers in a garden.

3. Visualize your Dreams manifesting.

The ‘Full Moon’ is the right time to do manifestation work around releasing what is no longer working or serving you. So sharpen your techniques by using your imagination to set goals. Take the time to write what you would like to manifest and what energy you’d like to see gone or are done with. You could even make a Vision Board with pictures that represent your goals, it can be the actual goal or the word that represents your dreams and wishes, place them on a cork board, make a collage and hang it up on a wall so you can see it every day. This puts you in a constant state of awareness and helps bring the energies that you want to you. When you spend time focusing on your dreams and goals, or Setting Intentions as it’s called, during the ‘Full Moon’ it can give you an energy boost!

4. Practice Meditation alone or with others.

The ‘Full Moon’ pours out so much energy, that meditating during one can create a calm and still energy that is profoundly strong. Finding a sacred space to practice meditation can help tremendously. There’s a lot of groups that meditate during a ‘Full Moon’, so look for spiritual groups, centers, or online groups that come together to meditate. It can be a very powerful healing and manifest work.

5. Send others blessings, be of service, practice acts of kindness.

Having this powerful energy at your disposal makes a ‘Full Moon’ the opportune time to pay it forward! Send healing energies, forgiveness, white light and energy out… out to everyone, you can think of, including strangers. Send loving and kind energy to your friends and family. Then go deeper and send peaceful energy out to the world (which we need more than ever), think of the places in the world that are experiencing strife, hardships, poverty, or war. This can open doors for those who are in need.

Whatever you believe in or faith you might have you can’t deny the way you feel during a ‘Full Moon,’ so at the very least take one small step from your heart and try to work with this energy. Test your theories and have a Blessed Full Moon!

Venus is in Libra from August 6-September 9.

The Goddess of Love is shifting gears as it changes signs around the Zodiac Wheel every 5 weeks, and this time it’s landing in the sign it rules, the sign of charm and relationships, Libra! However, this energy can also be rather aggressive (Libra is also believed to be Co-Ruled by Uranus.) In love and money endeavors we will go after what we want during this cycle. But we generally speaking are ready to keep things peaceful and harmonious with our lovers and business partners and just in our life.

You may feel airy and somewhat detached while Venus is in Libra with friends and in life in general, but you can become obsessive about keeping your relationships good, especially your intimate ones and in your business partnerships. We can be quite accommodating with other people period, and more than willing to negotiate and compromise. Which is great for making deals and just getting along better.

Because we are especially idealistic about love under Venus in Libra, we don’t tend to see the issues in our relationships, as we can just ignore them instead and pretend everything is perfectly normal, therefore, we may not see how dependent, inconsistent, or superficial we are acting with our partners. We do not like unkind or shadowy behavior during this time, and it can totally turn us off because we are meant to balance the light and dark energies that are around us. We prefer for things to be done a certain way, and to avoid anything unpleasant we tend to ignore or look over important deeper issues that are playing out in our relationships, as this can be a strong time for denial.

It’s important not to ignore our partners or we can suffer in silence, secretly feeling resentful that nothing is getting addressed or changed. Speak up even if it is uncomfortable, that is breakthrough! Your reluctance will only trap you and then you can end up privately suffering while feeling you are the martyr for doing so. Resentments can build and later come between you and your lover or remember also business partners, once Venus shifts out of Libra in October and into more deeper thinking Scorpio.

This is a time when we appreciate anything that is artistic and beautiful. We can seriously spend some mola if we aren’t careful under these energies, so watch your wallet. We want to change our environment and make it more pleasant and beautiful to look at, especially in our home, as it is our sanctuary under this influence more so than usual, which makes it a great time for redecorating or making home improvements. Mercury in Retrograde – How to Be Productive

Have you noticed your electronics breaking down or glitching out? Are you struggling with misunderstandings or having communication issues with people? Has your Wifi, computer, smartphone, and anything associated with technology been acting strangely? Are you forgetting words and sentences? Are emails and messages online randomly glitching out or disappearing altogether? Then there’s a very good chance you have been experiencing the side effects of “Mercury in Retrograde.”

Mercury is the plant that governs over communication, travel, how we express ourselves, how we talk to others and ourselves, and our thought process, and often electronics due to being part of communication get caught up in there somewhere. When Mercury is in its Retro cycle or appears to be moving backward, things can go a little haywire here on planet Earth from its influence.

Throughout this post, I will be referring to Mercury in Retrograde as Mercury Rx. Rx is the actual symbol used in Astrology for “Retrograde,” and it helps me shorten this down a bit.

I have been writing about what not to do during a Mercury in Rx cycle for many years now. And even though I believe strongly in the advice I give, especially about how we shouldn’t be signing contracts or starting new jobs or relationships, or going on any long distance trips, it just seems to get to a point where I’m constantly telling only the negative side of things of this aspect, which really is a drag. And then it feels like the Cosmos really has no other point of having the planets go backward or Retrograde but to simply annoy us! Which isn’t how it works.

So here are some facts about a Mercury in Rx cycle. Each Mercury in Rx cycle lasts for 3 weeks, and that’s not including its “Shadow Phases”, which are before and after a Mercury in Rx cycle. Each shadow phase lasts for three weeks as well, and they usually occur two times a year but sometimes even up to three times. So that makes each Mercury in Rx cycle a nearly two-month event, but mind you not everyone feels this fully during the whole cycle. Some people feel it more before, some folks have a harder time during, and a rare few more after the actual Retrograde cycle occurs and more so during the after Shadow phase. Everyone is different.

Being born during a Mercury in Rx cycle myself, I fully understand its effects on a deep level and just what really happens during its cycle. I’ve had my fair share of intimate Mercury Rx moments over the years, and I could go on and on! In some ways, I live in this electronic glitchy world full of misunderstandings and little mishaps all the time! Yes, heavy sigh, it’s frustrating but what can one do but learn from it. Therefore, I am pretty use to it, but still thoroughly annoyed by it! LOL.

But with all of that being said, I have also learned that “Energy Follows Thought” bottom line! No matter what the Cosmos is doing, I have proven to myself time and time again that if you focus on what it is you really want, you can ride the waves of any negative Astrological influence and come out of it with something more positive. Not to say that if you make a list of what not to do during Mercury in Rx that you won’t have issues, because whatever part of your Astrology “Birth Chart” Mercury Rx is transiting is the part of your life it will affect the most, and with this particular aspect there’s not a lot you can do to get around it, but I am here to guide you and try to help to the best of my ability.

Since I became aware of Mercury and it’s Retrograde cycles at a very young age, I have learned a great deal about how to align my energy better with the Cosmos, to seek and find balance. So I thought I would shed some light on how one can be productive during a Mercury in Rx cycle. So instead of explaining what NOT to do during this time, let’s focus on the progress we can make instead.

Astrologers are constantly explaining how during this cycle, communication is broken down, well that made me think about when something or someone is broken down it can be an opportunity to rebuild the energy back up again, and to align better with our soul path in life. Which means perhaps all the things glitching out or not working during this time, or the misunderstandings that seem to come along with Mercury in Rx, are being brought to us for a reason. Perhaps for a higher purpose, maybe to help us understand something we otherwise may not have noticed, and to bring us clarity! But you may be scratching your head and thinking with everything breaking down like computers or our Wifi, how do these random annoyances have any meaning or substance spiritually? The answer is simple, Mercury is telling you to UNPLUG and take a break, the Cosmos, the Universe is giving us a big time out! It’s time to get quiet and stop the constant chatter, get away from the constant movement and stimulus that plagues our lives nowadays. Listen to your higher-self and your spirit! And no it’s not conducive to be unplugged and miss work, or run away from the world everytime Mercury goes into Rx, I get it! But it does mean you can take a Vacation for even a day or two, and simply unplug from the outside noise. If that’s just impossible to do during this time than take just 30 mins a day during Mercury in Rx and really every day and unplug, and go meditate and recharge your own personal batteries. This is a time to find ways to turn your mind off, no more worrying or thinking constantly.

Sometimes we have to start over to achieve our goals, and during a Mercury Rx cycle, it should be the rule of thumb! It’s important to not get bent all out of shape and frustrated, and realize this is a time to re-work, re-do, re-learn, and do re-search. Don’t feel bad, trust me I can sympathize as I have already mentioned, I was born during a Mercury in Rx cycle and I have learned throughout the years once I do something, to do it again, so every time I listen and redo things the issues or situations I am involved in often seem to work out for the better. Just ask my second husband! Yes, I had to even redo marriage! But that’s the extreme example. The bottom line is it can be very frustrating for those folks who aren’t used to it. Taking the time to redo everything all the time frankly can be exhausting, but take my advice, as during a Mercury in Rx cycle it’s the best thing you can do for yourself!

Even the planet Mercury itself is going back through a part of your own personal Astrology “Birth Chart” right now, and a certain sign of the Zodiac as well, and therefore it’s backtracking to help you learn and understand something you’ve probably already have done or been through before. You have to take steps back during Mercury in Rx to move forward.

How to be Productive during Mercury in Retrograde:

REWORK SCHEDULES: Take a look at your schedule and ask: What’s working or not? Be flexible during this phase, and just know you may have to change your game plan. Think about letting go of any responsibilities that aren’t yours or that aren’t working for you. It’s a time for cutbacks.

DECLUTTER: It’s a great time to get organized and get rid of stuff, and so many of you need to clear out old junk anyway! During a Mercury Rx cycle is the best time to get into your closet, basement, shed, or attic and rid of what you don’t use anymore. I mean go through everything, even old junk drawers and make sure and recycle. Remember when you get rid of old stuff, you are getting rid of the old energy as well that’s attached to it, and you are making room for new fresh energy to come in, which can bring in new beginnings, wealth, prosperity, and better health and overall Karma. Let’s not forget it’s a great time to dump Karmic debt as well. Also, remember your intellectual property as well, as it’s called nowadays, so anything to do with your online stuff, and smartphones and computers, try organizing and getting rid of old files, this will help you tremendously.

REVISIT: If there’s any friends or family that you haven’t contacted in a long time for whatever reason, now is the time to make amends and open your heart up to healing. Working on these relationships can help heal old emotional wounds, which is beneficial to your spiritual evolution. Catch up with old friends, go have coffee or meet up for dinner. Just make sure the people you choose to revisit are not dysfunctional or abusive, as that seems to be a reoccurring theme during Mercury in Rx, to help remind you of how you felt in some way so you can heal it.

SELF-CARE: It’s important to take care of yourself during this cycle, so working on self-care can be very helpful. Take it easy and make sure to eat right, exercise and move around more. Spend less time being plugged into the net or social media if at all possible. Start some sort of new routine that benefits you and your well-being.

CHANGE THE ENERGY: It’s time to change the energies up in your life! This is a time to clear space and energy, so add some nice candles to your home to help burn off old energies and invite new energy in. Put some color in your home or office and redecorate with pictures that make you feel good. Add fresh flowers and burn some incense. Bless and release the old energy that’s been in your home or office, and bring in a higher vibrational energy. There are many different ways to go about this. Just try it, and get creative and you’ll see and feel the difference.

BE FLEXIBLE: This is very important, so I am going to repeat it again, allow the energies to flow around you and stop trying to control everything!! Perhaps write a letter and let the Universe know what you’re trying to create in your life, and then sit back and relax. Just follow what feels natural and don’t fight, argue, or push others even if you feel totally frustrated.

REINVENT: Take some time to think about your past successes and bring new light to them, enjoy what you have created in your life, instead of trying to constantly manifest something new and different. Make sure to reuse what’s in your home and repurpose whatever you can, perhaps some DIY projects should be on the agenda during this period.

REWORK AND REDO: Work on any projects that you have already started and never finished. Work on anything you feel passionate about, but this time finish them to completion and enjoy the work you are doing. If there’s something you just couldn’t get done or finish, now is the time to redo it and fix it! Mercury in Rx cycles really does help us finish up old business.

ORGANIZE: Do you have 3000 pics on your phone or computer just hanging around? Well, this is a great time to organize your life. I like to organize my emails, pictures, and just anything on my computer and smartphones during Mercury in Rx. Take the time to organize your world in any way possible. Use this energy to make something creative perhaps as well.

REMEMBER: Connect to your past in some way, watch old videos of your family, wedding, or any memorable life event that was a happy memory. Check out old high school pictures of friends and family, and just simply reflect and reminisce about the old days. Fill your heart up with memories and simply feel gratitude for the time you had with them. Connecting to positive energies will help you feel good, and can help you move forward in your life once Mercury in Rx is back to its normal place.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse

July has been an intense month on the Astrological front lines, with Mercury going Retrograde on July 25, and a Full Blood Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27, it’s about to get intense folks! A Blood Moon is extremely potent and its effects are stronger than a normal Full Moon because a Total Lunar Eclipse always follows and stirs up lots of activity and emotions.

A Full Blood Moon has nothing to do with actual Blood! Even though life might be crazy during this time. It actually gets its name from the reddish hue it shines when the Earth and the Sun align and block the light of the Full Moon. Since ancient times Blood Moon’s have been labeled as a time of misfortune and chaos by very superstitious people. But more than likely it’s the hype that fed those rumors and created such fear that something bad was going to happen, so during these cycles, folks tend to get riled up and make poor choices. It is certainly a stressful energy we have to deal with, but it is what you make of it! In all actuality, we should be paying attention to the other planets and their connections to the Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse to see how it will affect us!

This Eclipse will be affected more so by the planet Mars, which means this cycle will make us feel extremely emotional charged! Mars influence can cause frustrations or even anger which could easily turn into reckless actions, because of a harsh connection Mars is making to game-changer Uranus also at the time of the Eclipse. So yes, this can mean problems, but there are ways to get around these energies and deal with them. Forewarned is forearmed as they say! Now there’s a more gentle influence from Saturn coming in also during this time, and this can help keep things more grounded and calmer. And there’s also some fixed stars influence as well that can help us to be more patient and decisive in a crisis, but they also can cause more aggression and emotional upheaval.

It is said that the Total Lunar Eclipse this July is the longest running Lunar Eclipse this century, which only make its influence more intensified.

This Lunar Eclipse turns our attention towards our feelings, home & family, and intimate relationships. So as potent as this illumination is, it’s going to have an incredibly powerful influence mostly on our private lives. We will only be one day into Mercury’s Retrograde cycle the day the Blood Moon comes together and this can make people feel very nervous. There’s a lot of folks who still fear the Eclipses so some of you will be hanging out close to home out of fear, but we really shouldn’t allow this energy to scare us!

This energy certainly has its challenges, and with that painful transformations are already happening to lots of people. The Eclipse is a hard reset like on a smartphone, and a rather large download of information we receive from the Universe like an Update, but for our souls! So if over the last six months or so, things in your life have been building up to crescendo you just can’t seem to handle this Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse can be a new beginning or a fresh start actually, please hang on tight you are about to breakthrough! This might cause us to be upset in some way, but this Karmic Experience can actually help us get rid of unwanted emotional baggage. It’s a cleansing for our soul!

We are already in Eclipse Season as it’s called, so if you have been feeling dragged down and out of it, that is completely normal. This just means the Eclipse energy is already begun, and in the weeks to come we must be prepared to expect the unexpected! Eclipses are turning points in our lives, and situations shift quickly without little warning, changes are everywhere right now, and sometimes we lose our footing during this time. This energy can be very disorienting when you aren’t aware of what is happening, and with so many planets in Retrograde it is a massive time of confusion. Since we won’t be able to visibly see this Lunar Eclipse here in the States we might not be paying attention to when it’s happening and try to ignore its side effects, but this can catch you off guard by its unstable energies, because regardless if you can see it or not, it is happening and its energies will affect you.

Our emotions and passions will be in high gear during this particular Lunar Eclipse, and our anger can be more explosive, so waves of sadness and frustrations might feel more overwhelming, and our passions will be more powerful than normal, but also moments of pleasure and happiness can feel like nirvana! Admittedly, this is a rough time for us, however, there is a ray of hope as we go through this transformation and the side effects we are experiencing are just necessary growing pains as we go through this metamorphosis! I believe strongly we will come out different on the other end of this Eclipse Season, with information planted in our unconscious minds to be brought out and discovered, it is an interesting but exciting time folks!

If you feel like you are in a dark place and are just blind to what is going to happen next, we are in the time of Mercury and so many other planets in Retrograde, but just know the light will find you once again and you will eventually see a glimmer if you will while you are in this dark emotional place, so DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! Allow the peacefulness that comes from being in the dark and not so distracted to wash over you and do something spiritual, like write in a journal or take a nice Moon bath. Do something that makes you feel better when you are stressed out during this time, take extra care and nurture yourself. The Eclipse energy is hard on us, and we need to get lots of rest, eat right, and exercise during this time to be at our best to handle these powerful downloads that are about to come in.

A Look Ahead
Two weeks after this Lunar Eclipse occurs there will be a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11.

Once again another very rare and important time, that I will explain more as we get closer to that time, but for now you should know this will be a good time for new and lucky breaks and new beginnings! The Eclipse in Leo can be a lucky time for winnings and games of chance. Leo is already considered a lucky Sign, but you don’t have to be a Leo to reap the rewards from this Eclipse. If you are going to “Set Intentions” or make out Wish Lists for the New Moon on August 11, then focus your attention on money, prosperity, career, love, protection, peace and happiness, and healing!

Finally, remember that Eclipses bring about much-needed changes that you don’t always understand at the time. Time of Astrological Retrogrades & Eclipses

Many of you have expressed to me how you want to move forward in one way or another, in some part of your life, and yet you feel stuck! And you’re probably very curious when you’ll get to start moving forward again. Well here’s what’s happening.

It is a time of Retrograde Planets!
It’s not that you are necessarily doing anything wrong, in fact, you probably have been doing everything you can think of, but perhaps that’s not even working! This is a time to wait, and do your work spiritually! During Retrograde time like now, we go more inward and start to process on a very deep level all of the issues in our life we want to change or even some of the stuff we don’t, we just can’t make things work in the same way! This is NOT YOUR FAULT! It is not about what you are doing.

This summer at one point there will be six planets in their Retro cycles, except for the Sun and Moon, and not only are they in Retrograde but also they are hanging out together. The Retrograde planets cause blocks and major slowdowns in more than one area of your life. However, this doesn’t mean everything in your life will be stuck or on hold. But just like everyone else, there will be some things that get stopped. Most of you aren’t too happy about this Astrological lineup, so it’s important to understand just what part of your own personal Astrology Birth Chart these Retrogrades are moving through because that tells us what part of your life is being most affected. Even though you already probably could guess some of it just by what you are experiencing.

SO GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK and avoid taking actions because this is seriously a waiting game we are in!

Retrograde Planets Timeline

  • Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto will all be Retrograde between June 26 and July 10th.
  • Jupiter turns direct and out of Retrograde on July 10th, leaving four planets retrograde.
  • July 25, Mercury is Retrograde and there are 5 planets going in reverse.
  • August 7, Uranus turns Retrograde and that makes six planets plus Chiron Retrograde.
  • The planets slowly start turning direct with Mercury, on August 18th.

The Summer is a good time to sit back and reflect on your life, so take it slow and hopefully, you will see that things just aren’t moving as quickly so you can take your time. Let things unfold naturally during this slowed down time, and don’t push things. There’s no point in pushing something if it’s not going to happen from the start or if it is going to be a mess, and that is exactly what Retrograde planets can bring. Perspective is everything folks, take this time and enjoy it, look at it as a time to relax or take a little vacay time, this will help you take some of the pressure off yourself and your life. Try not to worry! Zen out and just allow the energies to be what they are now. You can’t change anything about it, take it from me observing Retrograde time over the last 20 something years, and seeing so many folks try to push it and do things that aren’t really working for them, or trying something totally different and have nothing but problems that lasted months after the Retrograde cycles were over. It’s not worth the frustration!

  • Astro Outlook for July
    July 8th – Sun Trines Neptune, this will be a nice energy that will stick around for some of the week, so enjoy! We can feel a bit lazy but our intuition is super strong and our dreams can be vivid and meaningful.
  • July 9th – Mercury Square Jupiter, watch your mouth again, Mercury rules over how we communicate and if you get frustrated once this energy appears you could seriously go off.
  • July 11th, Venus Trine Uranus, this can be a nice energy to meet someone new in or just out of the blue, and for couples that are already together, you just might be able to put some spark back into your relationships.
  • July 12th, Sun Opposite Pluto, this can be a good day but don’t let your ego or mind get in your way. You might feel amazingly powerful, but you can end up throwing your weight around and have major ego battles with others.
  • July 14th, Venus Trine Saturn, this is when we can make sure our committed relationships are secure, and when longer term commitments can be made.

A New Moon comes together on Thursday, July 12 in the sign of Cancer, this is actually the first of the Summer Eclipses!
This New Moons message is all about letting go of something, as it’s a time to transform yourself and get rid of what is holding you back from happiness.

This Solar Eclipse is going to be very powerful, it represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new one. A regular New Moon’s influence can last for a month after it comes together, but a Solar Eclipse influence can last from three to six months. However, the Cosmos is busy and there are two Solar Eclipses this summer. The next one is on August 11, and it will be even stronger or more powerful than this one.

The New Moon Eclipses are an ideal time to plant those seeds of intentions for any future goals you desire, it is time to manifest folks! Wherever, this Eclipse falls in your own personal “Astrology Birth Chart,” will be the area of your life that you will have the best opportunity for something new or improved to start, by the end of the year or even into next year.

The Eclipse on July 12 might just push you to do more with your life. Therefore, it can create chaos or crisis if you get caught off guard. But hopefully, you are learning now just by reading this blog, and you will gain enough insight and avoid a crisis altogether. It’s a great time to Manifest Relationships!
Many of you are looking for new love in some way and some folks may even meet a soulmate during this time. Already existing relationships might just enjoy more stability. If you are in a stressful relationship than this is a good time to work through your problems and find solutions. But if for whatever reason your relationship isn’t already solid and doesn’t have staying power, these Eclipses may just separate you too help you figure it all out.

For those of you who are impatient when it comes to manifesting, please keep “Setting Those Intentions” and making out those “Wish Lists.” The things you want in this life don’t always come immediately, sometimes it just takes time! The Universe doesn’t always just give us what we want, but the whole point of “Setting Intentions” is to be put on a path in the right direction towards your desires. So if you are consistent and continue to keep asking and focusing on what it is you want and not what you don’t, you will either get put on the right path or get what you want in time. So do your work folks, or it won’t work! Period.

There is no magic cure to stop these energies but you can do work to help ease off the tension, no matter your beliefs, take some time to go inward and connect to your higher-self or a higher power and ask for what it is you want, and for help during this wild crazy time.
