Venus Enters Gemini

On June 8, Venus the Goddess of Love, that rules over our relationships and often financial affairs enters the sign of Gemini, through July 3rd.

We definitely can be more talkative and naturally curious, under this influence. Our minds are whirling with juicy information along with a stronger than normal desire to share, however, we can get lost in conversation. We can be extremely indecisive but also aware, because we can read between the lines in any form of communication. This is a time when we like to multi-task as we’re motivated by our own curiosity. Which with Venus involved, the Goddess of Love, that means some people are also going to be more curious than usual about being free and not in a relationship, as the air sign Gemini influence can make us desire more alone time, and we can feel quite detached and therefore, this is not a time to take love or a relationship too seriously. Keep it light and fluffy folks!

On the other hand under this influence we are more flirty, so it’s no wonder this is a time of romance as we tend to date and hook up more. There’s a need for variety and diversity however, because our minds are so charged up that our hearts tend to follow. This energy keeps us engaged and interested in human contact and relationships. Since Venus is involved, this energy affects our love lives and relationships, and with it being in the sign of Gemini, we can be more fickle and picky.

Feeling more attracted to words, we can bond very easily with others on mental levels, but we are also more sensitive to stimulus, touch, and other vibrations that are being sent out on the airwaves. “The New Moon for June will be coming together very early Monday morning, between now and then is a time to plant new seeds of intentions with the Universe, this will be a shift and a new energy that we need to take us out of the energies we’ve been under.

The days following a New Moon phase are auspicious. The actual day of the New Moon, the balsamic or dark Moon period, marks the beginning point when the heavens shift from dark to light. On the following days magic is in the air and our inner life is awakened. During the New Moon cycle we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting some seeds of intention and getting in touch with our Soul. It’s a good time to be grateful for what you have, and to work on manifesting what you’d like next to show up in your life next.

Setting Intentions under the New Moon

This is an opportune time to ask the Universe for new beginnings. The intentions that are set during a New Moon Ritual will set you on the right path towards your desires. Have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, Source, Guides, Angels, or whatever you connect with), and ask for the New Moon to light up the paths towards your deepest desires, ask to be shown what your wanting to manifest. Plant seeds of intentions with your mind and heart. So think it, but make sure and feel it!

Some of you might be asking how does one Set Intentions under the New Moon?

First you should set the mood, and create the energy, so light some candles, burn some incense or sage, and perhaps play some calming meditative music. Get comfortable and simply write down your deepest desires, wishes and questions. Ask yourself what would you would like to manifest or create, and what energy you’re trying to bring into your life?

As your doing your ritual and setting your intentions, here’s some helpful questions to think about. What are you choosing or what changes would you like to see in your life? What energy should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now? What kind of energy do you want to create in your life during this New Moon?

Next most importantly you’re going to Visualize and feel what you’ve written down. Close your eyes and take some nice long deep breathes, now enter into your heart Chakra in the middle of your chest (the space you feel love from.) Visualize yourself in the desire or dream you’re creating. For example, see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with a Soul-Mate, driving that new car, and don’t forget to smell that new car smell. See yourself manifesting what you would like to call in during the New Moon. Just don’t think about it, make sure and “FEEL IT”, as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing.

The New Moon phase is the best time for planning and seeding your intentions. You’re going to need to be patient and wait for the seeds of intention you have planted to grow, just like you would wait on a flower to sprout from a seedling. Just remember when a plant grows it needs sunlight. This is also true for us humans, as we get our ideas together and make our visions known, it takes some time for our wishes or desires to surface into reality from the dark of Moon aka New Moon. We should start to see the path open up by the light of the Full Moon in a couple of weeks time, then you must follow and set intentions once again until you reach your goal. It’s all about keeping your heart focused on what you deeply desire. Try this New Moon ritual and see if you can get on the path towards your dreams.

A Time For Communication!

For All Zodiac Signs 

The Sun shifts gears into communicative Gemini today, its influence may bring about change and some disruption during its time through June 21. We are highly stimulated and need to talk, and to reach out to others and share ideas. Our thoughts may be quite scattered during this time. Jumping from one thing to the next involving anything that has to do with communication, like through emails, texts, and phone calls of course. It’s a great time to channel this energy into productive activity, catch up with some correspondence or paperwork. This can be a good time to multi-task, so stay busy to keep yourself distracted, but don’t overdo it! Perhaps try to focus on one thing at a time if you feel overwhelmed, you can’t get it all done at once no matter how hard you try. What work are you busy with now?

Due to timing, it just happens that mental Mercury, Gemini’s ruling planet, is shifting into its own sign of Gemini today as well. The May New Moon is in the sign of Taurus and this is a time for new beginnings as this cycle marks a major turning point for many of you. This New Moon phase is an actual harmonious connection between the Sun and Moon, and both of them just happen to be in the sign of Taurus this go around, so it’s very strong and potent energy to manifest under. This is a time of learning what it is we truly value, and what genuinely makes us feel more happy and content with life.

This New Moon means business this time around, as the planets around it are very supportive for creating and manifesting, as they are lining up with Moon in it’s New or Dark cycle (this is a good kind of dark), and are totally supportive in helping us bring in whatever we focus on. But you must plan on starting now, you must focus on what you want to happen next in your life, and make a commitment to yourself that you will follow through with any commitments that you make. The New Moon energy will be quite comforting in the sign of Taurus on May 4th!

This lunation brings in new beginnings and hopefully a fresh start to our lives. This means we should be focusing on helping heal the world by embodying positive energies for our future, with our hopes and dreams. This energy can feel natural and comforting, as we should be focused on building onto whatever foundations we already have and keeping them secure.

This is a time when feelings need to be expressed in our friendships and partnerships, as we develop a stronger sense of what we want in our lives. This is also a great time to push forward with whatever we were releasing around the last Full Moon in April.

  • How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now,?
  • What do you want to create around your long-term goals and in your future?

One of the most important parts of Setting Intention with the New Moon, is FEELING what it is you really want to have happen or see come in your life.

The next step is to Visualize and feel what you’ve written down. Close your eyes and take several deep breaths, and imagine entering into your heart Chakra, the middle of your chest! Now see yourself in the desire or dream your creating. For example, see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that amazing Soul-Mate, getting that job you’ve always wanted, or driving that new car. You can’t just THINK IT you have to make sure and FEEL IT, as if you are already really experiencing what your visualizing out in this physical world.

Some folks like to burn their Intentions or Wishlists after they have performed their ritual, so just make sure to do it in a safe place. Others keep their lists until the next Full Moon and burn them at that time. Everyone does it a little bit differently, but the Universe knows either way, just do what works for you!

Pluto Turns Retrograde (Backward) in the sign of Capricorn

Welcome to the dark side of our human existence, the cosmic detective, powerful Pluto is starting it’s challenging Retrograde cycle today.

This energy can bring things out of the shadows into the light, so whatever is exposed might be a total shock to our system. Usually, this is regarding how we use and gain our own personal power when Pluto goes backward or Retrograde. But by the end of this Retrograde cycle, the truth will hopefully set you free!

The beginning of this shift brings with it confusion, as it seems to intensify the problem areas of our life. At first there is a heaviness in the air with this energy, however, this is an excellent time for research, and for discovering new insights into our own issues about how to keep or gain control and use our own personal power! This transit helps us discover our own motives. We can be enlightened by the information we receive about our own self-destruction, as well as the planets, but this is also about our personal transformation and the path we are heading down.

Has someone been dishonest with you? Or have you been dishonest with yourself in some way or just in total denial? With the right attitude, whatever you discover during this cycle could take you from a breakdown to a breakthrough, and perhaps a major ah-ha discovery!

How do you deal with power and control? Some folks can’t simply get enough power, and others get nervous when they have too much control, and then there are a those who refuse to take control of anything in their lives when they should. When Pluto goes Retrograde, it brings about power struggles around things such as power and who has control. People rise and fall from power during this time, as there are lots of plays made for power and control. This is a good time to do some soul searching around your own personal relationship with power. What are your goals? What do you want to achieve in life? Do you feel like you have power over someone else’s life, or is someone making the decisions for you? This can affect any part of our lives, but for the next several months we will be figuring out just how to move forward in ways that can make us feel more in control. Just be careful about who’s toes you step on, or how many folks you use your power over to get there! Remember Karmic balance always comes into play with these sort of things, and if you abuse or just use folks to get what you want, it will eventually catch up with you in one way or another. Pluto will be in its Retrograde cycle until October 3rd.

The Goddess of love, Venus is moving into the first sign of the Zodiac which brings fresh new energy into your love life and around your finances. 

This cycle brings love on rather quickly, as relationships, both new and old are more direct and spontaneous. Under this fiery influence, we tend to hunt each other down in matters of the heart, as we are more bold, courageous, aggressive, and impatient.  

Even though we can be more direct than usual, some folks will be more reserved emotionally during this time. Feeling more unsure about themselves, especially if the love we feel is not been validated or expressed back. Love can be challenging, and if your confidence is already low then you can end up being more strategic or sneaky when it comes to matters of the heart. Under Venus in Aries we don’t look back, this is a time to move forward with anything concerning love or money. The Full Moon energy is starting to come together Wednesday the 17th, but won’t completely be FULL until Friday Morning here in the States.

The energy this Full Moon is pushing out is quite strong, so you might feel like taking some sort of action now. You can feel the Full Moon usually about 3 days prior to it being totally FULL. Some of you may feel more tired or run down than usual during this build-up time, especially with Jupiter in Retrograde (backward) right now, so this can be especially strong. Other folks will feel more excitable and anxious during this time, which can lead to feeling more irritated. As the Full Moon swells slowly this week, we can be extremely tuned into our intuition, and since this particular, Full Moon is in the Zodiac Sign of Libra it produces some super-psychic energy! Aries represents “self” and Libra is about “others.” Aries helps us to be more self-assertive while Libra is about compromise. The energy of the Libra Moon is about being aware of a need for relationships in our human existence, and how to maintain them through balance, compromise, and negotiations. The energy of the Aries Sun is about taking care of one’s self, leading, and personal courage or bravery. The Full Moon illuminates the need to balance taking care of our relationships or our significant other, and meeting our personal needs and desires as well. It is a balance between independence and dependence.

This Full Moon occurs in the final “critical” degree of the Sign of Libra. This is the second Full Moon in Libra in the last few months, the last one occurring in the first degree back on March 20. Which means whatever got starting at the end of March in your relationships or around your personal freedom is at its last lesson now, so something will either end or be completed now. The Sun is heading into an alignment with Uranus in Taurus as well, this brings about revelations around our own personal independence, and the need for other folks to be in our lives and our partnerships. There will be finalities and endings with this Full Moon.

How do you navigate the energy during a Full Moon?

It can make such a huge difference and set the stage for this to be a good or bad experience.

– How you react or don’t is important during a Full Moon Cycle, learn how to NOT overreact during this time. Instead, work on being patient and see how things play out. Getting upset or jumping to conclusions is easier since you can be so overly emotional during this time. But you will just regret it later, as there are a lot of planets right now slowing down to go Retrograde like Jupiter already, and Saturn and Pluto are in their Shadow periods right before their Retrograde cycles. So things can get a little weird if you go blowing things out of proportion.

– Open your mind and be flexible, and look at all your options rather than feeling stuck, and be willing to change something so your circumstances can also shift into something better or more positive. 

– Get rest and plenty of sleep! Work on raising your energetic vibration by doing something that makes you feel good in your soul.  Make sure to be around good friends and company. Eat right and healthy. Make sure to get regular exercise, but also take some time to relax and maybe listen to some music that makes you feel good. All of these things will help you feel much better and help raise your vibrational energy.

– Make peace with yourself, your past, and let go of any situations that aren’t helping you. Maybe write out some Full Moon Intentions around what you are done with and what you would like to Let Go and Release!

Above are the exact times when the Full Moon comes together, so it’s time to “Set Intentions”, or make out those Wish Lists! It’s especially a good time to work at letting go of something. But you can start by doing some sort of Full Moon ritual or magic when the Moon shifts into Libra Wednesday morning, so before the Moon is totally Full, which personally is a much better time to manifest! Just never do any kind of energy work during the VOID MOON cycle, it just doesn’t work out the same, as the Moon is shifting from one Zodiac Sign to another. This is a valuable time to release something or someone in your life, it could be a person, a place, or situation, or even an old behavior or a belief.

Focus your energy on bringing something new into your life, while also maintaining the relationships you already have. Remember that Full Moons are potent times for releasing work and endings. It’s a time to take a step back to review plans and projects as giant Jupiter makes its yearly backward trip into its Retrograde Cycle for the next four months. With Jupiter in Retrograde, it’s a time to re-think goals and plans, especially ones ruled by Jupiter. This is really an opportunity to question ourselves about the things we thought we already knew so we can develop new perspectives or beliefs around what we are planning next for our future.

With Jupiter Retrograde we get a once a year opportunity to go back over certain things and possibly collect the rewards or gifts we missed out on before! Maybe you just weren’t ready yet the first time around, or open to certain possibilities. But now you get another chance to experience a bright prospect that lucky Jupiter can bring.

During this Retrograde phase, you can see just what part of your life you’ve been overdoing it in, or where there’s been excess, greed, or extravagance. You just may need to slow it down a bit, as adventures & projects can be moving along too fast and mistakes get made or things can be misinterpreted. Let things unfold naturally during this time, which can be a bit of a struggle through the 21 of April with it being Aries Season, and again through the first part of June with mental Mercury in Aries, so our minds want to do nothing more than to move forward, fast and quick! But remember taking your time now during this Jupiter Retrograde period can be beneficial in the long run. As certain realities become known and this energy comes in stronger you may start to lose your motivation and enthusiasm.

Making progress might come to a halt as this cosmic turnaround tends to slow us down. This is a cycle of reflection, you should be focused on what gives your life deeper meaning, and what can help you feel more abundant. This isn’t typically a time of difficulty, but when Jupiter gets ready to turn Retrograde (its Shadow Period) it can seriously slow us down, as we adjust to this more intense feeling influence. This actually can cause you to feel a sense of urgency and desire to find something more expansive in your life and to get rid of the things that are restricting you, holding you back, or that are keeping you from happiness and satisfaction.

Starting April 8 through August 11 is a time for cutbacks on the activities that don’t help you reach your goals. The Universe has a way of getting us to take a seat and chill out, this Retrograde phase gives you that opportunity to make sure the plans and projects you’re working on are still what you want and need. It’s a time to rid of any distractions that just waste your time, energy, or money! Don’t focus on what isn’t working or what’s slowing falling away now, rest assured it was probably a waste of your time anyway. Besides whatever doesn’t work out at this time, is probably a gift to you from the Universe, because there was a reason of you understand it or not. Once Jupiter is direct, whatever plans or projects you have been working on will start to come together. We’ve got plenty of time to figure it out.

Most of the time Retrograde planets get a pretty bad rap! But when Jupiter is Retrograde it can actually be a good thing! You just might receive some sort of random good luck in whatever part of your life you are the most focused on at this time. This is a time for second chances and opportunities, and for amazing things start to happen that involve your work, traveling, legalities, real estate, and of course your spiritual growth. Over the next four months, we get a chance to actually make big strides, but only if it’s something you really want and have been working towards. If you try to be tricky and lie or deceive others to get ahead now or take advantage of people, your success will come crumbling down once Jupiter goes direct again in June.

Over the next few months whatever has held you up from growing and evolving on a soul level is where Jupiter’s Retrograde will be more evident. This cosmic turnabout is a time of big surprises and reveals! Many of you are simply repeating a pattern of some sort that you might have done repeatedly lifetimes before, which has been blocking your success and personal happiness. Over the next four months, Jupiter Retro will light up these behaviors or patterns. Old learned behaviors from our past in this life or past lives will be shown to us now. Therefore, this can be quite a revealing time that helps you understand just what part of your life needs help, so you can remove any blocks and achieve greater success and stop unhealthy behaviors once and for all!

By the time Jupiter goes direct, you will see things start to become a reality, and will be able to move closer towards your goals with success, and hopefully some happiness.

So since you didn’t get a chance to complete an important destiny, calling, or lesson you may just be getting to do it all over again during this life and finally fulfill
