A Time For Communication!

The Sun shifts gears into communicative Gemini today, its influence may bring about change and some disruption during its time through June 21. We are highly stimulated and need to talk, and to reach out to others and share ideas. Our thoughts may be quite scattered during this time. Jumping from one thing to the next involving anything that has to do with communication, like through emails, texts, and phone calls of course. It’s a great time to channel this energy into productive activity, catch up with some correspondence or paperwork. This can be a good time to multi-task, so stay busy to keep yourself distracted, but don’t overdo it! Perhaps try to focus on one thing at a time if you feel overwhelmed, you can’t get it all done at once no matter how hard you try. What work are you busy with now?

Due to timing, it just happens that mental Mercury, Gemini’s ruling planet, is shifting into its own sign of Gemini today as well. This means our core self, ego, and minds are going to be quite scattered and very aware of the energies all around us that we maybe can’t normally see. Doors suddenly open and close during this time, but we can see between the lines like never before. This influences energy speeds up time and our lives, so the way we think and communicate will be at a much faster pace then what we’ve been doing while the Sun and Mercury were in much slower moving Taurus over the last month or so. Get rest you’re going to need it to keep up! 

We are definitely more chatty, but we also can be unreliable and unfocused. Knowledge and diversity motivate us with the Sun in Gemini. We are more sociable, intellectual, and curious under this influence. We tend to scatter our energies as a result of this curiosity and awareness of all of our options. We are more communicative and versatile, so we are open to talking about anything. Emotionally speaking our moods can swiftly change up and down, and even though we may feel more easy going and active, we’re still more prone to feeling nervous and excitable, which can lead to feelings of frustration and we can anger more quickly. With all this energy we can get overstimulated, and have a stronger need to talk and reach out to others and share our ideas and opinions. So be careful it’s all too easy to overshare information and tell to much. 

While the Moon and Mercury are both in the sign of Gemini we can feel nervous or more restless, so it’s best to keep yourself busy gathering and processing information. Read, write, research, and take care of business or run errands. Make only short-term deals and no long-lasting commitments, because we are supposed to be just collecting information for later, as it can be quite valuable later on. It’s important to take breaks and get physically active during this time, this will help your mind relax. Be social and look for different and interesting people to mingle with. Your conversations may be quite informative during these cycles.
