July Super “Black” New Moon

On Wednesday, July 31st and Thursday, August 1st for some time zones, a powerful Super “Black” New Moon in the sign of Leo occurs.

The NEW MOON times are as follows.

Pacific Time, July 31 at 8:11 PM
Eastern Time, July 31 at 11:11 PM
Central Time, July 31 at 10:11 PM
Mountain Time, July 31 at 9:11 PM

Under the “Black” New Moon energy we all have an opportunity to tap into this strong, potent, and courageous Leo the Lion energy.

  • A Black Moon is the name of a second New Moon in one calendar month. For some folks this New Moon will occur on August 1st, but it’s still a Black Moon since it occurs so close to the end of the month. 
  • This Black Moon is a Super Moon this time around, and so it’s literally closer to Earth, so the tides and anything made of water here on planet Earth is affected by the Moon’s vibrational pull at this time.

This is an excellent time to think about our future goals. And all the characteristics of the sign that Leo represents. With the Moon and Sun both in the sign of Leo, there’s a double dose of Lion’s energy to work with. And add that Mars and Venus are also in the sign of Leo currently, and we have an abundance of this energy to tap into. We should be focusing our energy into the following things like enhancing our love life, as this is a time for romance, but also creative endeavors, andrelationships with our lovers, family members, and children.

Some things we should be working on for the next month are as followed.

Each of us possess the power to take control of our lives, so we must take charge in any situation and make important decisions that will help us in the future. Follow your intuition, as you know what’s best for you! No one knows you better than you! Take some time to yourself and get comfy with your pack, and do what makes your heart happy. Don’t beat yourself up about what you think you should be doing, and allow the truth of who you are to set you free. Trust yourself and be authentic in all you do. Leo energy rules over the heart of any matter, which makes this the best time to work with the energies that are ruled by the heart. 

Setting Intentions with the New Moon

I cannot stress enough just how important it is this time around to do the work and Set Intentions or make out Wish Lists under this powerful, rare Super “Black” New Moon. Especially, since we have just dealt with so much life-changing transformational energy. This is the time to make some new plans and set some goals to help you bring in new beginnings and rewards, don’t worry about how big or small they are as in two week from now when the next Full Moon occurs you should start to see something begin. Just simply write it all down, and read it and than FEEL IT! Then since Leo is a Fire Sign many like to burn up what they have written and send the energies off to the Universe in hopes it will bring us what we have asked for.

This New Moon also brings in the start of a New Lunar Cycle, and this new energy comes after a series of very potent and transformative Eclipses in July. This new energy can help us calm down and work with any emotional wounds, changes, or transformations the July Eclipses may have brought up. If the Eclipses brought about some sort of change in your life, than this “Black” New Moon can help you handle whatever issues you have been dealing with, so you can begin to finally think about what to do next from a whole new perspective, and hopefully find some solid solutions. 

Under the influence of the “Black” New Moon, the Cosmos will usher in New Beginnings that so many of us have been wishing and hoping for, however, we are going to have to take things slow at first and give these new energies time to work their mojo! There’s a beautiful Full Moon building up energy that will come together on Sunday, August 26, in the sign of the fish, Pisces. There are also at least five other more harmonious planet connections around the same time, and they are aligning with a couple of fortunate Stars! Under these Cosmic influences, it should be a good time to learn how to develop your own intuition and psychic abilities. Find some tools to assist you, like gemstones that activate the third eye or special oils to wear for example. All of these tools can assist you during the Full Moon and help you work with the energies. And often just lighting a candle, holding your favorite gemstone, while writing down what you wish to release or let go of can work the best.

Ask the Universe to help you develop and expand your own special unique gifts and talents. Did you know we all have our very own set of gifts, some folks are aware of them and might call themselves an Empath, Psychic, or Clairvoyant? But all of those labels are just how you connect to the Universe and its energies, really. If you are one who isn’t aware of your special psychic gifts you might be blocked up in some way due to learning how to survive life and simply not remembering that they are part of your very own spirit.

A lovely “Grand Trine” in Earth signs will be coming together on August 25, this lovely aspect is when the Sun in Virgo, Saturn in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus all work together. This energy can help us stay very grounded, practical, and stable. But this energy can also make you feel almost too grounded and sort of heavy, this will pass quite quickly. On August 26, the Full Moon will mesh well with this Grand Trine energy. Finally, there’s a shift and things start to make sense again, and any doors or windows that were closed will start be opening!

This particular Full Moon is great for working with our finances and for making money, or just seeing some dreams come true. Some folks will get the answers they have been looking for and there’s going to be some exciting opportunities for both personal and professional successes that can help you set up some kind of financial security for your future. A whole lot of folks are already actively looking and applying for new jobs this month and this will help a lot of you find new work which brings in a stronger sense of security.

Pay attention and look for the opportunities that present themselves over the last week of August, as this Full Moon in Pisces can help you improve something about yourself, or in your important relationships, and in life in general. The success will probably come through these new opportunities that will eventually turn into wealth and security!

This energy is amazingly strong for attracting all kind of prosperity. So make sure to Set Intentions, make out wish lists, or do some kind of ritual around this Full Moon, and call it in!! I highly suggest starting soon so you can do some sort of daily ritual to call in this energy to you, just do something proactive to draw money to you! One example is to write yourself a Check and place it under a crystal of some kind, everyone is different so I am not going to suggest one certain kind of crystal or gemstone, you go by how you feel. Leave it up until some kind of financial blessing shows up.

I do suggest, however, that you start working with this energy during the time when the Moon is increasing in light, rather than decreasing in light. So you will want to start from the New to the Full Moon, which if you are reading this on August 21st, is from now until the Full Moon. This way, when you plant your seeds of intention, they can begin to sprout and as the light increases slowly until it becomes a Full Moon, and so will the energy of your wishes!

A Look Ahead!
The day after the Full Moon, we will see fiery Mars goes direct.
It’s been Retrograde for months now, everyone is going to feel this shift in energy, and it can be either very positive or a very strong hit so to speak, so pay attention because big things are happening folks! As Mars slows down it’s going to stir people up, and some of the people are going to feel their emotions in an unhinged sort of way, and that can bring something to an end! Expect for folks to let out their pent-up anger and frustrations. Some of you may really want to start a fight of some kind, so watch for confrontations from out of the blue, they could get super serious fast. Our emotions have been suppressed or stuffed away for a while now and let all that out could easily be blamed on the upcoming Full Moon on Sunday and it’s build up this week.

But a lot of the cause for the anger is actually Mars coming out of Retrograde, and really us being able to finally express ourselves, it’s like deflating a balloon. It’s the calm before the storm, as this explosive energy can come out with a bang and then a strong sense of calm will wash over you afterward. Mercury the planet of communication, ruler of our thinking processes turns direct, and a plan will finally start to come together! Now is the time to incorporate all that you’ve have learned during its Retrograde cycle, so if you have been thinking about or reviewing something important since July 25th (or a few weeks prior), when Mercury turned Retrograde, and you have used this time wisely now you can proceed with fewer obstacles and get on the right path, because you are informed and have a more realistic understanding about where you stand and what you need to be doing in order to be successful. Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse

July has been an intense month on the Astrological front lines, with Mercury going Retrograde on July 25, and a Full Blood Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27, it’s about to get intense folks! A Blood Moon is extremely potent and its effects are stronger than a normal Full Moon because a Total Lunar Eclipse always follows and stirs up lots of activity and emotions.

A Full Blood Moon has nothing to do with actual Blood! Even though life might be crazy during this time. It actually gets its name from the reddish hue it shines when the Earth and the Sun align and block the light of the Full Moon. Since ancient times Blood Moon’s have been labeled as a time of misfortune and chaos by very superstitious people. But more than likely it’s the hype that fed those rumors and created such fear that something bad was going to happen, so during these cycles, folks tend to get riled up and make poor choices. It is certainly a stressful energy we have to deal with, but it is what you make of it! In all actuality, we should be paying attention to the other planets and their connections to the Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse to see how it will affect us!

This Eclipse will be affected more so by the planet Mars, which means this cycle will make us feel extremely emotional charged! Mars influence can cause frustrations or even anger which could easily turn into reckless actions, because of a harsh connection Mars is making to game-changer Uranus also at the time of the Eclipse. So yes, this can mean problems, but there are ways to get around these energies and deal with them. Forewarned is forearmed as they say! Now there’s a more gentle influence from Saturn coming in also during this time, and this can help keep things more grounded and calmer. And there’s also some fixed stars influence as well that can help us to be more patient and decisive in a crisis, but they also can cause more aggression and emotional upheaval.

It is said that the Total Lunar Eclipse this July is the longest running Lunar Eclipse this century, which only make its influence more intensified.

This Lunar Eclipse turns our attention towards our feelings, home & family, and intimate relationships. So as potent as this illumination is, it’s going to have an incredibly powerful influence mostly on our private lives. We will only be one day into Mercury’s Retrograde cycle the day the Blood Moon comes together and this can make people feel very nervous. There’s a lot of folks who still fear the Eclipses so some of you will be hanging out close to home out of fear, but we really shouldn’t allow this energy to scare us!

This energy certainly has its challenges, and with that painful transformations are already happening to lots of people. The Eclipse is a hard reset like on a smartphone, and a rather large download of information we receive from the Universe like an Update, but for our souls! So if over the last six months or so, things in your life have been building up to crescendo you just can’t seem to handle this Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse can be a new beginning or a fresh start actually, please hang on tight you are about to breakthrough! This might cause us to be upset in some way, but this Karmic Experience can actually help us get rid of unwanted emotional baggage. It’s a cleansing for our soul!

We are already in Eclipse Season as it’s called, so if you have been feeling dragged down and out of it, that is completely normal. This just means the Eclipse energy is already begun, and in the weeks to come we must be prepared to expect the unexpected! Eclipses are turning points in our lives, and situations shift quickly without little warning, changes are everywhere right now, and sometimes we lose our footing during this time. This energy can be very disorienting when you aren’t aware of what is happening, and with so many planets in Retrograde it is a massive time of confusion. Since we won’t be able to visibly see this Lunar Eclipse here in the States we might not be paying attention to when it’s happening and try to ignore its side effects, but this can catch you off guard by its unstable energies, because regardless if you can see it or not, it is happening and its energies will affect you.

Our emotions and passions will be in high gear during this particular Lunar Eclipse, and our anger can be more explosive, so waves of sadness and frustrations might feel more overwhelming, and our passions will be more powerful than normal, but also moments of pleasure and happiness can feel like nirvana! Admittedly, this is a rough time for us, however, there is a ray of hope as we go through this transformation and the side effects we are experiencing are just necessary growing pains as we go through this metamorphosis! I believe strongly we will come out different on the other end of this Eclipse Season, with information planted in our unconscious minds to be brought out and discovered, it is an interesting but exciting time folks!

If you feel like you are in a dark place and are just blind to what is going to happen next, we are in the time of Mercury and so many other planets in Retrograde, but just know the light will find you once again and you will eventually see a glimmer if you will while you are in this dark emotional place, so DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! Allow the peacefulness that comes from being in the dark and not so distracted to wash over you and do something spiritual, like write in a journal or take a nice Moon bath. Do something that makes you feel better when you are stressed out during this time, take extra care and nurture yourself. The Eclipse energy is hard on us, and we need to get lots of rest, eat right, and exercise during this time to be at our best to handle these powerful downloads that are about to come in.

Two weeks after this Lunar Eclipse occurs there will be a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11.

Mercury enters the sign of proud and expressive Leo today! This transit will be in this sign until September 5th, which is longer than usual due to Mercury going Retrograde, from July 25 through August 18, which is usually a challenging time. But this blog is about Mercury’s time in the sign of Leo, which affects all of us!

With Mercury in the sign of Leo our thinking is very strong, so we can feel more confident and tend to demand respect, and can get quite upset if we feel someone is talking down to us or is not listening to what we are saying. One thing we should be careful of especially once the Sun Enters Leo around July 22nd is just how aggressive, pushy, and over bearing we can get. There will be a whole lot of Leo energy swirling around and this means some folks won’t know how to handle this fiery energy, so be mindful and if you feel like your going to Roar take a break and get space!

It’s a good time to focus on your goals, and the more magnificent the goal, the better. This cycle can help you organize your thoughts to concentrate for long periods of time, which can help you meet your goals. Our minds our full of energy and our will power is strong, we are full of perseverance, and have a stronger sense of purpose.

Our minds may just naturally go to the positive, so we can be more kind, easy-going, and cheerful, even though on occasion we can be quite opinionating, stubborn, arrogant, and to forceful.

The little actions we take do really matter in this energy, but the details aren’t as important because we want to get to the point and have some fun. We are much more expressive and a little dramatic, and can do well when we get an opportunity to express ourselves, so giving speeches or telling stories can go quite well.

We also can be very charming, convincing, and persuasive because we are full of confidence and pride, especially when we speak or write. Therefore, we should be mindful to listen to people to hear them and not just to reply, because we might want to chat a lot more then usual. Also watch for gossip, it is all too easy to start talking about other folks during this time, and we can get wrapped up in what we’re talking about and end up over sharing with the wrong people.

With the planet Mercury ruling our thoughts and how we express ourselves in the sign of Leo, we may be particularly concerned with our looks and how we present ourselves, under this energy people feel more like dressing up as we are on the grand stage of life and everyone else is the audience. This doesn’t necessarily mean we will want attention from everyone however, we can be very picky and choosy about who we draw to us and be actually more closed off or even shy emotionally about our deeper truths.

It is NOT a good time to starve yourself, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t diet or eat healthier, but make sure to eat several small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar level. Depriving yourself will not go well and can make you feel rather aggressive and moody! You might just crave extra saucy, fatty food, so don’t go overboard.

After working hard we also will feel more like playing just as hard, so set time aside to allow your inner child to explore and have some fun, this is a very natural way of being under this Leo energy and if we choose to ignore it and not allow ourselves some time to relax and enjoy something we love we can become quite irritated and lonely.

April was a seriously intense month on the Astrological front and this was reflected in our everyday lives. The planetary shifts we have experienced have been transformational, but there is more to come now as we begin 1, and hopefully, these energies will be more on the calmer side.

The powerful Full Moon in Scorpio is slowly breaking apart now but was one of the most intense Full Moon’s of 2018. And with so many planets going in and out of Retrograde (backward) like Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto we are feeling it! The odd part is we are feeling this energy more internally, due to the planets that are Retrograde, and many of you aren’t choosing to express how you’re feeling. Do what you can to express your emotions during this highly emotionally charged time.

The first week of May might seem almost quiet once the Full Moon energy breaks apart, but the New Moon in Taurus on May 15th can be a catalyst that brings in major changes in our personal relationship with our physical reality. The weeks ahead will likely be some of the most important moments of 2018.

The New Moon comes together on May 15th, 2018! Just hours after the Sun and Moon connect, the New Moon occurs. And on the same day, Uranus the planet of change, chaos, and liberation also changes signs for the first time since 1942, into the sign of Taurus, this starts on May 15th and goes until November 6th!

Uranus is the planet of high vibrational energy and revolution, so as you can imagine having Uranus so active on the day of the New Moon is a pretty big deal. Note: this will affect all the signs, and not just Aries and Taurus!

Many of you are already experiencing the effects of Uranus’s shift into Taurus and may not even realize it. The first of the Earth Signs, Taurus represents our basic survival needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and money. Since Uranus has been in the Sign of Aries for so long now, it helped to create that spark as it’s fire breathed new life into all sorts of situations and projects. But the sign of Taurus helps to sustain life, so themes around manifesting, building, and farming and anything earthy will be our primary focus now. Ruled by the planet Venus, Taurus also favors anything beautiful, pleasurable, and sensual. We are not just here to exist or be of service under Uranus in Taurus like we have been doing all these years with Uranus in Aries. Under the sign symbolized by the Bull, Taurus, we are here to live in Earth’s beauty and abundance of nature and to give and receive.

The Sign of Taurus is very much associated with the planet Earth, and since our human existence is literally hurting our home planet, we will see this reflected back to us so we can heal. Therefore, Uranus’s entry into Taurus can be dramatic, mostly because this happens just a few hours after the New Moon comes together.

So other planetary connections will be triggered, and one of those connections can create some serious volatile energy right around the time when the New Moon makes a tense Square to aggressive Mars in Capricorn, while Uranus is the very last degree of Aries, and this is right before it’s shift into Taurus, and that is a very strong placement and time. So make sure to be careful about how you react to folks from May 13th through 17th, because sometimes it’s just not worth a reaction at all.

Uranus stays in the sign of Taurus until November 6, 2018, which gives us some time to get things settled back down, and work on grounding!

Then Uranus actually goes Retrograde and throws itself back in the sign of fiery Aries on November 7th through March 6th, 2019, so we already know how to handle Uranus in Aries, but in Retrograde it’s a whole new story. The urge to start fresh and break free from restrictive attitudes or circumstances, and to totally redesign an area of our lives (or even our personalities), and to gain freedom through independence is strong with Uranus in Aries. I will explain that more as we get closer to that time.

Uranus finally will re-enter Taurus on March 7th, 2019, for a seven-year journey that won’t end until April 26, 2026. Whatever events or changes that are caused by Uranus in Taurus were probably already started a long time ago.

On May 16th, Mars enters emotionally detached Aquarius, through August 12, this can be a bit unforgiving and aggressive energy. It’s also a dynamic yet erratic energy, we can try to achieve our goals but in a very impulsive manner, and our anger levels can be a bit impersonal. However, we are less concerned with personal power and are more team-players, and cooperative during this time. We are highly attracted to unconventional methods and tend to approach problems more with our minds, as we feel more detached from our emotions.

The Sun drifts into Gemini’s quick-witted and alert presence for a month starting on May 20, making you intensely curious to learn new things. Expand upon the knowledge base you tapped into earlier in the month or learn something totally new. You can be quite the quick study of this energy. Everyone is going to feel this energy, so life might move extremely fast, take a lot of notes during this time and learn to take breaks.

A beautiful Jupiter-Neptune Trine comes exact on the 25th of May, this is the major planetary influence this month and lasts from May 10 to June 12. This encourages hope, generosity, and a sense of community spirit. You may start seeking out a spiritual quest to find the truth during this time. There are going to be many destined encounters with teachers and light-workers of all kinds, like Guru’s, Priests, Psychic’s, and Healers. Someone might even come to you for spiritual guidance. Enlightenment comes through dreams, visions, meditation, and deep spiritual pursuits. It will be more difficult to ignore the sick, poor, and needy during this time, as we are reminded that we are here to take care of each other! As your morals or standards vibrate higher, you will want to find ways to do selfless acts to helps those that need you. Animal and environmental charities will be on our radar even more so than usual. There will be more interest in human rights and refugees, and other innocent victims of war and greed, as social justice will be more important.

Some folks may feel a strong urge to get creative and find an outlet for their enthusiasm through music, dance, art, or theater. Following our dreams for success without having to sacrifice our ego or material possessions is part of this influence, and being wealthy or famous might not be what makes you truly feel happy and content. Romance will be strong and love will be in the air during this time, as others can find you extremely attractive!

On May 29th the Full Moon comes together in the sign of Sagittarius, this energy is all about the adventure or journey! It opens up the greater truths and everything we need to explore our personal freedom. The Sun in Gemini will be opposing the Moon in Sagittarius so our minds will be lit up, as the fiery Sagittarius Moon illuminates our souls wisdom, and helps bring forward information we know on a deep cellular and soul level, it’s the info we carry in our DNA we are talking about here, including past life memories, it is the information we carry deep in our hearts and in our bodies. This very special lunation inspires us to seek a higher perspective on our life’s path, which opens doors to new possibilities and helps us create our future!

A special point in the Cosmos is going to be activated on the day the New Moon comes together, this is all about feminine wisdom and power! Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn

Pluto starts its reverse movement into Retrograde on April 22nd and runs through September 30th! Pluto Retrograde isn’t as glitchy as Mercury or Saturn in Retrograde, so you may hardly notice it unless you work with a lot of people and know their deeper emotional issues. But you will recognize it more so on a deep psychological level within yourself if you’re aware of your feelings and get in touch with your soul purpose. The planet of deep analysis normally takes us more inward, but in Retrograde it becomes a journey into hidden realms we may not have dealt with, so the feelings we’ve been holding on to or repressing can come out in the open.

Pluto Retrograde in the sign of Capricorn can be beneficial, if we are observant and pay close attention to any unconscious patterns or behaviors that motivate our actions, then we can change or break them. Pluto is all about power so authority figures or anyone who represents authority, and those anyone who has power over us may catch our attention, or we suddenly are on their radar, so we may have to be careful and follow the rules for now, especially with Saturn the “Authority Figure” or “Father” of the Zodiac also in Retrograde!

During the end of April be extra cautious for tempers and hot-heads, as Mars and Pluto make a challenging but powerful connection on April 26th. This energy will be even stronger because of Pluto coming to a standstill just days prior.

Pluto Retrograde is like Saturn, so it has a regular cycle every year that lasts for five months, as it makes an opposition to the Sun. Outer planets just affect us in a very different way then the inner planets. The effects are more subtle at first until we move past this cycle and can look back in hindsight, and then we realize just how this time might have been life-changing in some way! Perspective is always an issue when planets are Retrograde, remember, so even though Pluto in Retrograde isn’t probably causing you strange technical glitches or annoyances it still makes its presence known in a sneaky sort of stealth kind of way. When Pluto goes Retrograde it’s a good time to reflect on how we are doing with changes and our soul transformation.

Pluto Retrograde is a time of reflection on power and control in your life. If there are people who are trying to control or manipulate you then now is the perfect time to let them go! If you’ve been too controlling of others or situations then it’s time to stop it and change your behavior! This is not a time to abuse any kind of power you have over others, so avoid power trips, and make this a time for eliminating.

Themes that seem to repeat and events that are almost fated will help you reinforce which of your controlling habits, addictions, compulsions, or prejudices now must be eliminated, or Pluto will make these issues more relevant, so it feels like a giant spotlight gets shined on the problem to be analyzed and reviewed very intensely, but again you may not even be aware of it until it’s over with. What isn’t working, like poor health, an attitude that is hateful or that causes suffering may be burned away now, released and offered up to the Universe. What’s left and what is working will be more clear and enhanced into pure energy.

Relationships are going to go through a strong period of adjustment during Pluto’s Retrograde cycle. There will be more love, and sharing, and more folks standing together for their lives’ causes. It’s a good time to keep a low profile as privacy can be your strongest tool during this time. It’s a time to dissolve, so do it with dignity and respect.

In your relationships, you might have been controlling, possibly holding on too tight and smothering your partner. It’s time to stop because you need to start letting go. If you have been compulsive or obsessive about food, drugs, or sex and it’s taken over your life, then certain events may actually force you to turn it around and gain control over it. Basically, the more destructive your behavior the more extreme your cycle of detoxing and withdrawal might be during this cycle. For example, if you just stopped doing something cold turkey, Pluto Retrograde makes it a very intense process.

~Pluto’s energy can be profound and will do what it needs to, to transform dark to light!

Pluto often is represented by the Phoenix, and as the Phoenix rises from it the ashes, is how it transforms us, which you may not realize at first, but you’ll know because you’ll feel it! Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn for now, and Pluto represents destruction, making order out of chaos, it helps to clear obstacles, detox, resurrect! Capricorn is the builder of the Zodiac, it likes to renovate. Together they restore and enhance with the very best materials and devices that modern times has to offer! Nowadays, it’s become common knowledge to understand to some degree what Mercury in Retrograde is all about, but what you might not know is all the planets go into a Retrograde cycle which is when the planets appear to be moving backward in the sky! And it does cause significant effects both bad and good really, it’s all in how you look at it! So now we are dealing with Saturn moving into its Retrograde Cycle, and this is a very strong powerful energy that we all will have to deal with at one point if we realize it or not!

Starting April 17th the ringed-planet Saturn starts its five-month-long trip in its Retrograde cycle, through Sept 6th! Saturn Retrograde is a transit that occurs just over every twelve months, lasting for nearly 4 and 1/2 months. Saturn Retrograde is not rare and lots of folks are born under one. This is a time of restrictions, blocks, limitations, and some anxiety and fear. But the skills we learn during this Retrograde phase will prove essential to our growth in the long run.

In the coming days, you may feel off, weighed down, and disoriented, as once again our perspective shifts. We are just getting out of Mercury’s Retrograde cycle, so our perspective isn’t even back to normal yet, so this is a strong time for the confusion! But this is how we are affected by Retrograde planets. Often it’s the very beginning and end of these cycles (Shadow Periods) that are the toughest or most challenging time. Just remember Retrogrades are always about perspective, so as these planets appear to be moving backward through the Cosmos, we too can feel like we’re going backward in our lives.

When Saturn is Retrograde it is a good time to revisit our relationships and work on any long-term goals we may have, as this is a time to pay close attention to our responsibilities and duties. It’s a time to restructure the way we manifest our reality and find new ways of thinking or a different attitude about how to remove what is blocking us, or how to get through the obstacles that are in our way.

Saturn is known as the “Lord of Karma,” and while Retrograde it is a time when Karma is sorted out. Therefore, Saturn Retrograde can be a double dose of Karma handed-out. Karma is actually a form of energy that is very real, and like Saturn, it is very closely bound to time.

Over the next week, as Saturn turns completely Retrograde, we may begin to feel the weight of it in certain situations quite heavily especially around our responsibilities. Many of you will actually let go of certain commitments including relationships, jobs, or business deals, which can leave you wondering why you even bothered with them in the first place. We may feel somewhat disconnected and lose our motivation. It might be difficult to make important decisions during this influences run as our energy levels are low.

This is all due to a change in perspective from the Retrogrades. We will learn how to find our footing and regain some sort of balance into next week, as we grow more accustomed to these shifts. Then we can turn Saturn’s Retrograde cycle into an opportunity, which is the most powerful way to see any Retrograde planet! Turn this into a time to go over and review your responsibilities so you can figure out what’s working and what’s not. Take on your responsibilities and face your reality!

It’s important to slow down now and reconnect with what makes you feel useful, like your work, relationships, and duties. This, in fact, is not a good time to add anything to your existing responsibilities as the extra projects will just stress you out even more! We should be cutting back and reducing what we normally take on right now, it’s a time to make things simple folks! Any delays you happen to run in to now are just a kind reminder from the Universe that its time to make adjustments, this is a chance to make edits and corrections that are necessary for your success. This is a major time out!

This influence has us take a look back at what we have already done or taken care of, so it can make you feel like you are moving backward and like you’re not moving forward. Actually, this is happening so you can review or go back over something that normally you wouldn’t have! Everything ruled by Saturn is under the microscope now and it’s a good idea to review these kinds of things, like any rules or regulations you should be following, structures at work or in business, and traditions and foundations. Making changes to our ongoing projects or going over old ones can be successful, however, taking on new projects or responsibilities or commitments is probably not a great idea, it’s a time to simplify and restructure our lives first!

During Saturn’s Retrograde phase we will be dealing with particularly strong issues. Just remember as we take care of our unfinished business, Saturn is teaching us to be more patient and disciplined. Any skills we acquire during the retrograde phase will prove essential in the long-run to our success.

Saturn Retrograde has us take on certain responsibilities that have already been developing and more important in our life, so extra time is needed to take stock and to make sure everything is in order before we can continue. Saturn will present us with challenges and test us to make sure we are ready to take on extra responsibilities. The lessons we learn and that are taught by the Teacher of the Zodiac, Saturn, are often rough but they are valuable, and we are always rewarded by Saturn for our hard work and a job well done!

The negative side to Saturn Retrograde is you may become sad or depressed, and not speak up for yourself, or act overly shy. If these behaviors get out of control during the Saturn Retrograde time, then you’ll be offered a chance to recognize and admit you’ve got a problem. If this goes too far you can end up needed some help so you can come out of your depression or isolation.

This is an excellent time for schooling or training, but we may question it as well. There’s also going to be questions about our life, faith, and belief systems, as some folks will return to a Spiritual Path they started back in their past. We also may need to tweak or edit a project that we plan on publishing or do something related to writing. Whatever you do during Saturn in Retrograde, remember it’s a time to ride life straight and follow the rules, if you can do that you may learn a lot about life.

“Setting Intentions with the NEW MOON”

There’s a New Moon on Tues, June 13th, which makes this the best time of the Lunar Month to set some powerful intentions. These Wish Lists can be about your future goals. Learning how to work with the cycles of the Moon can be a life-changing experience.

*Setting Intentions*

During a New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting seeds of intention from our heart and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to be grateful for what we have and work on manifesting what energy we want to come into our lives next.  We can create whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, love. It really doesn’t matter, but we have to do something physical and spiritual together to make it really happen and stick! And no not everything you want is going to just magically appear. But you will more than likely get put on the path towards your wishes, even if you don’t realize it and that sometimes take time, but it’s nice to know at least we are headed in the right direction.

Sometimes when you Set Intentions with the New Moon energy amazing things happen and you get what you want very quickly!

At least by “Setting Intentions” with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to begin heading down and that’s a start. Then the energies will begin to line up to get you there, and if you continue to stay persistent and connected, and keep doing this work it truly can change your life circumstances for the better. I am like those old commercials, I don’t just talk about it, I have lived it! LOL

The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of beginnings when you can recharge goals and set new ones. During the New Moon, we often experience some major “energy shift.”

Here are some ideas on just how to Manifest under a New Moon:

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

2. Share your intention with someone in a supportive way, who will be encouraging.

3. Do something to demonstrate your commitment to your intention. Take even a small action around what it is your asking to create! Send an email, move something in your house, or make a phone call perhaps.

4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would, and then take the next step.

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source Energy, higher-self, Guides, Angels, etc), and work with the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that will lead you toward your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to be patient and simply allow the time needed, things don’t always happen right away, as we can get taken down certain paths to find our way to what it is we’re looking for. And sometimes magic just happens, you just never know!

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the New Moon?

Follow the Steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your sacred space

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do New Moon work in. Think about where you are going to do this work because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair, because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot.

You are simply calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some sage or Incense and clear the energies, so say a blessing or a special prayer that helps you feel cleared and protected. Next, close your eyes and breathe deeply and call upon your guides, Angels, or higher power and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill up your special space you are working in with the energy of love and light. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it. Never leave a VOID when working with energy.

Step Two: Set the atmosphere

Set the mood for your New Moon Ritual and burn some special incense, light some candles (colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), and play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be a very different experience for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever colors, music, and tools that make you feel calm, centered, happy, and peaceful.

Step Three: Setting Intentions

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with.

Now write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life and be detailed about what you want to see happen and bring in both.

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about. For example; ask for what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now, and what do you want to change and create? Think about your long-term goals and future. Be careful about focusing on the how, why, and when of your goals, focus more on what it is you are choosing and how you want to feel. Only see the ultimate end result and getting what it is you are choosing, in your mind’s eye, don’t focus on how you get it, or the hurdles you have to jump, or sacrifices you may have to make, allow the Universe to shoulder the burden once you have requested what you want and let them take care of the rest.

Step Four: Visualize

It’s time to visualize what you’ve written. Close your eyes and take long deep breaths, in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest, not over your pumping heart, but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you’re actually trying to create or manifest. For example: see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that Soul-Mate, driving that new car. Just don’t think it, make sure and FEEL IT as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing!

Allow the Universe to show you which paths to follow over the next 30 days, and look for any signs or symbols that will help you along your journey so you may bring in what you truly desire and let go of what you don’t want! Don’t forget to show gratitude in some way and tell the Universe thank you in advance.

You also might gain some clarity around something or someone that is not serving your higher good and could be blocking you from your desires. So, in other words, pay attention after you’re done doing this work.

We are in some seriously temperamental Astrological energy right now folks, where Pisces energy is prominent. This can be good or bad thing depending on where the ongoing “Pisces Stellium” is cruising through in your own personal “Astrology Birth Chart!” Most water signs should do ok, so Pisces, Cancer, & Scorpio, but Sagittarius, Virgo, and Gemini may feel challenged by the Square or opposition from Pisces.

No matter what your Zodiac Sign you can get easily get caught up in this challenging aspect because Mar’s is squaring off with all of the Planets in Pisces currently! So that means it’s making very heated tense connections to all of the planets currently in Pisces and that’s a whole lot of energy!

So here’s how this works, Pisces is ruled by Neptune which is the planet that can cloud our vision and cause us to feel mentally unstable, as it makes things unclear, foggy, and just confusing. There may be deception or something you aren’t seeing clearly between now and the first week of March. Mars is currently in Sagittarius and this is a challenging energy, and we can get very hot-headed or even violent, as this influence can create a nasty energy that gives us the urge to FIGHT! The issue is we are fighting for something we only perceive to be true and really it’s just a fantasy or not at all what is happening.

Some of you are perceiving situations in a certain way which may be totally off and you can become easily agitated or angered. Or someone might say something you feel is hurtful, but it’s actually more open to interpretation. Something isn’t clear, but due to Mars (the God of War) you could end up jumping to conclusions and overreact without understanding what’s really happening! So your feelings get hurt and you can feel highly emotional due to so many planets being in watery Pisces and also just coming out of the Full Moon energy as well. Misunderstandings are all over the place right now, and you may want to speak up and defend yourself in some way. For some folks, this means at first you will feel very sad and emotional, but then you might just get angry and explosive and want to set someone straight. But you can end up going off on a tangent, getting all worked up and causing a scene! This can stir-up quite a mess that you’ll probably regret later. I have seen some folks just go manic in this energy while others aren’t even phased by it!

– Remember you could do some serious damage that might even be permanent to a relationship or friend if you are not careful with this energy! If someone should make you feel emotional, upset, or angry over the course of the next week (first week of March), do yourself a favor and just walk away and breathe!
– Do not jump to conclusions! Don’t’ tell people off and do not act on impulse. There’s something that’s not clear yet, something you can’t probably see correctly in this confusing, yet potent energy. Let it go and keep calm! You will probably see the situation quite differently by mid-March time and if you go off you may cause irreparable damage if you were to overreact.
– In fact, you may even make yourself look like a total fool, but you will probably look back weeks down the road and find the whole thing to be ridiculous or even funny once the truth comes out into the open and can be seen again, which is when the planets move away from the Pisces Stellium.

Now let’s discuss the good stuff!

Actually, you can use this Stellium of planets in Pisces for good as well. Whenever there is so much energy in one sign like there is now, (more than 3 planets in Pisces currently), that energy dominates over things and creates a need for us to focus our energy in a specific area of our life, usually that all depends upon what house the planets are going through in your personal “Astrology Birth Chart” currently. For example, if you had this Stellium visiting the third house of your Birth or Natal Chart, then you would focus your energies on how you are communicating. And this could be a good time to talk with people and make connections, but there also could be deception or outright lie coming from someone around you.

This is also a good time to stay motivated and work on healing yourself and again whatever part of your life the Stellium in going through in your personal Birth Chart. So it’s a time to Zen it out, that means find a way to connect with your spirit, your dream world, and inner essence if you will. Reaching out to the Universe or the higher power of your understanding can be extremely powerful under this Stellium in Pisces, it’s a time to get connected to that source energy, so learn how if you don’t know. Some examples of ways to connect to your inner spirit are as follows:

– Learn how to meditate and remember meditation is simply a state of “Being”, it’s not just something you learn how to do! If you can just sit quietly somewhere comfortable in the right atmosphere and breathe, and then notice your breath, as you breathe in and out for just even 5 minutes, then guess what, you are meditating!
– Get physical with it, you can go the zen way and practice things like yoga or dance classes, or simply take a long walk, but under this energy involving Mars it is also a great time to get into something a little or a lot more rough, like tennis, kickboxing, or just taking a cardio workout class. Get your blood flowing! It helps us stay calmer.
– Get creative in some way, and start writing in a journal. Just start with “Dear… whoever you want to write to, be it Angels, Guides, or loved ones who have passed over, or just put Universe to cover it all! This simple act of pen to paper can really create a wonderful journey that leads to healing of epic proportions. I know from personal experience just how amazing this work can be, as I have been writing how I feel and what I want since I can remember. Or learn how to Art Journal and draw everything out along with some writings about how you are feeling!
– Make a “Vision Board” of all the things you want to bring into your life or sayings you want to live by, we are currently starting to work hard at our belief system once Jupiter goes into its Retrograde cycle soon, so it’s a good time to figure out what values and belief system you want to live by.
– Get Spiritual and light candles, burn sage, play new age music, put sea salt around your home and cleanse the energies. Open the windows and let the Sunshine in and burn out the negative energies! Play high vibrational sounds in your home (you can find these on Youtube, just type in High-Frequency Music.)
– Practice some kind of energy work or have a session with someone who does work like Reiki or Energy healing of some kind, just make sure you get references and that they are the real deal. You don’t want just anyone playing with your energy field.

As mentioned, the Water Signs will benefit the most from this energy, so Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, followed by the Earth Signs Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo. However, Virgo may have more challenges as this Stellium is in their opposite sign, but this influence can help your close relationships get stronger.

For all you Fire and Air Signs, so Leo, Sagittarius, Aries, and Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini, you may have some issues, but all of you no matter what Zodiac Sign would need to look at your own personal “Astrology Birth Charts” to really know just what part of your chart this Stellium is affecting.

This also gives us an opportunity to work on our physical well-being as we move through this month very quickly. There are two Full Moons this month and two planets going Retrograde as well. This last Full Moon that just occurred March 1st, has brought our attention to what we need to heal, simplify, and purify in our lives as the Virgo energy is trying to help us keep a balance in our everyday lives. So continue on this path even after this event is done and over, as you might have learned a lot of important information to use.

We’re still under the watery, dreamy Pisces “Stellium” energy for a few more weeks but it is going to start breaking up here in the next few days slowly, as one planet at a time will slowly shift into fiery Aries and life will be very different. But our attention remains on how we choose to love ourselves and take care of our spiritual health for now, so if you haven’t been taking care of your spirit you have a little bit of time left while we are still in “Pisces Season” until March 22nd! So get to it, zen out somehow, maybe take long walks, practice yoga, meditate, start writing in a journal, join a spiritual group you can learn from, just do whatever you can to work with your spirit, because think about it, that’s the one part of you that’s with you long after you leave this place!

Jupiter goes into its Retrograde phase on March 9th in the sign of Scorpio through July 10th! When Jupiter is Retrograde we should take the time to review our life, ideals, visions, and belief systems. And this year the theme will be around our personal values and our personal integrity! Since Jupiter is in Scorpio there will be issues brought up about our own personal power or lack thereof, obsessions and addictions, and our moral compass. So we will have an opportunity to examine how we feel about our beliefs over the next 4 months, and things won’t be the same once this is over, as many of you will change something about yourself in one way or another.

The New Moon is on March 17 in the sign of Pisces, this influence helps us reconnect with our subconscious mind and better understand the deeper truths about ourselves. Pisces is the very last sign of the Zodiac, it is where we dissolve back to the waters of consciousness and return to source energy! During “Pisces Season” we have an opportunity to cleanse the negative energies from this last Astrological year, so over the next three weeks make sure and get rest and make this a time of healing, reflection, rejuvenation, and spiritual replenishment. Pisces is a mutable water sign, so this New Moon helps support us as we make major shifts on a soul-level to realign ourselves and flow with the energies around us. The New Moon teaches us that if we can let go of our resistance and judgment we can be more compassionate, forgiving, and accepting.

Then we have to deal with mental Mercury’s slow down, as it goes into RETROGRADE for the first time in 2018 on March 22nd in Aries.

I don’t know about all of you, but this has seriously already started for me! While Mercury is Retrograde in Aries the energies heat up as Aries is a cardinal fire sign, which means movement! Get ready, you’ll feel charged up and can get more easily agitated and aggressive. This influence tends to cause us to be more impulsive, impatient, and mouthy! We act fast without much forethought, and can get into trouble if we don’t pay attention! It also can cause unexpected problems if you’re not careful. There will be a new line-up of planets shifting into Aries energy throughout March, it’s going to be very important starting the first week of March to learn how to breathe and think before acting to avoid mistakes and accidents, as the fiery Aries energy starts to kick in.

March will also see another second Full Moon, so it is a Blue Moon as well!

A Full Moon occurs on March 31st in the sign of Libra. Under the Full Moon in Libra, our focus shifts onto our relationships! This is about how we balance out our lives around our partnerships and remain independent at the same time. This energy brings up issues around giving and receiving, but it also helps teach us all about getting what we want without sacrificing our own dreams and values.

The FULL MOON is coming together in the sign of wellness, Virgo on Thursday, March 1st, this energy can help us create order out of the chaos. The more messy parts of our lives will be illuminated, but it can help us clean our lives up!
