This month’s Full Moon is somewhat mystical and fantasy-like. If you’re like so many others and feel just ran down by the August Eclipse energy, this might be the shift you so desperately need.
The energy of this month’s Full Moon may remind you of a classic storybook fairytale.
 
It is a great time to tap into whatever higher-power you believe in or your higher-self because it draws us into our spirit and we can explore our more spiritual or magical-selves. The Full Moon in the sign of Pisces is meeting up with dreamy Neptune, and this adds a touch of mysticism to the energies. It can feel almost like we are in a dream or fantasy, as it builds up in energy. Some folks might end up actually meeting a teacher of some kind during this cycle. It could be here in this physical plane or in the spiritual, it just depends on what you decide to tap into.
 
The Full Moon is in illusionary Pisces this month, and this causes waves of healing, but it also can make us feel very highly sensitive and emotional, as Pisces ruling planet Neptune is going to be hanging out with this dreamy Full Moon. Pisces and Neptune energy blend together beautifully. Together, they work to create a magical, sort of mystical kind of energy. It’s an ideal time to let all that disruptive energy go from August and go into our spirit.
The Universe is spinning out some serious cosmic energies at this time and hopefully, you can keep a grasp on reality, as these energies can cause some of you to feel confused or foggy. This particular Full Moon is dissolving the walls between the physical world and spiritual realms, and the veil is very thin. As these boundaries come down, we must make sure to “shield” ourselves spiritually and physically. We become very vulnerable in this energy. It’s all too easy for those of us with an “Empathic” nature to pick up on others issues and emotions, as we struggle to differentiate between what we’re feeling and who those emotions belong too.
 
It’s important with the Moon in Pisces to surround ourselves with kind, loving energy. This is a strong time of healing! Our imagination and intuition are very strong, as we’re plugged into everything around us. One of the best ways to feel good in this energy is to get involved in creative projects. Work on letting go of any fears or doubts that you are holding onto because our feelings tend to flow more easily.
 
Full Moons are huge shifts of energy for us, and they are a time of completion and closure. Since the recent August “Eclipses” gave off such strong energy, hopefully, this Full Moon can magically bring us back to center in some way. It can help to bring answers and clarity around the problems we might have had over the last several months.
 
The August “Solar Eclipse” energy, will be reactivated once again by Mercury, on the day it comes direct and out of Retrograde, which is the day before the Full Moon. This energy opens up paths so we can move forward once again. There was so much uncertainty about life in August, but this Full Moon can help bring closure. It slowly will start to get easier to understand all the information the Universe was trying to pass on during “Eclipse Season” both consciously and unconsciously now.
 
For just a short period of time we can “Set Intentions” in this magical energy and change our reality, but we only have a few days to do it in. The important thing to remember is to not get to carried away by this fantasy like energy. We can enjoy it but can feel enchanted and lose sight, so we must ground ourselves and not let unrealistic expectations take us over. This is a highly emotionally charged energy because of the Full Moon in Pisces and Neptune hanging out so closely! So don’t get too wrapped up in your emotions, as we feel pulled in by this highly emotional tide of energy and get taken over.
 
Most folks enjoy this more whimsical, magical kind of Moon. This reminds me of just how the Full Moon is usually depicted in storybooks and the movies, where the Full Moon is perfectly round and lite up all beautifully in a starry night sky, and there are just a few clouds rolling by and a light gentle breeze blowing, and fairies are dancing around a clear pond and the Moon illuminates their reflections over the trees and grass. Some folks love this fantasy-like magical energy, and others feel actually more overwhelmed or anxiety-ridden during a Full Moon, everyone is a little bit different.
 
Some folks just fear what they do not know or the unknown, and those fears might come out during this Full Moon phase. But once it hits that precise degree of Mercury going direct (on the Solar Eclipse Point), reality will set back in! But there’s no denying starting the minute the Moon shifts into Pisces on September 5th, there’s some special energy we can use if we play our cards right.
How to take advantage of this magical Full Moon in Pisces!
The Universe is opening up paths to move forward more easily now, in one way or another, and in turn we can make decisions based on what we are supposed to be working on, but we must look at the energies this Full Moon in Pisces wants us to work with.
 
Relationships can be complicated in this energy, so it’s important, to be honest with yourself and others. Under the Moon in Pisces keep your hearts and minds open, you should be learning how to forgive and show more compassion to those you love and care for. Make sure to tend to your own needs under this energy and watch those boundaries, under the Pisces themed energy we tend to take care of others and leave ourselves hanging. We can be too trusting and get taken advantage of, or worse be victimized in some way. This is a great time to listen to your intuition and your dreams, and those little subtle synchronicities the Universe likes to send, as messages are everywhere now and Déjà vu can be strong.
 
The Sun is in Virgo so we may need a “reality check” during this Full Moon time, as some of you can get carried away into your own fantasy world. While other folks will be able to stay grounded and keep things “real” during this time. The Moon in Pisces energy is about using our intuition to guide us, while the Sun in Virgo continues to remind us to pay attention to the details and watch for what is out of place.
 
Our spirit wants to play and be free from responsibilities and to cross boundaries, but it also can help make dreams come true! The planet Mercury rules over how we think and is now moving forward once again from its Retrograde cycle, (thank goodness), and restless Uranus is making a harmonious connection to passionate Mars. This threesome is producing a great combo for progress. But watch for those sudden twists and turns, because these actually can be more positive experiences and be in our favor, so there might be some exciting news on the horizon!

Saturn is also finally moving forward again, which helps us move ahead even more, especially with plans that involve our work or careers. Its five-month long Retrograde is over and we are no longer being blocked or restricted, so movement is happening and the gates have opened so we can chase goals and meet success head on.
 
Interestingly enough lucky Jupiter is returning to the exact point from when it was in Retrograde last February. The Jupiter influence with this Full Moon can be quite revealing, and any missed out opportunities can finally start to show back up and be worked out, that didn’t for whatever reason last February.
This Full Moon energy produces some serious strong potential to make our dreams a reality, so whatever personal dreams or visions you may have may actually start to be realized during the rest of 2017! Old dreams are gone now and we are embarking on a new journey, and those paths are now opening. There’s a strong possibility if we go down these new paths that we will be happier even if we didn’t know about it, so follow the Universe’s lead on this one. With the Sun making a perfect connection to powerful Pluto now, our confidence is stronger and this can lead to more positive experiences.
 
This Magical Full Moon will be reminding us that our dreams are not far away, after all, while the Sun in Virgo tries to remind us that we must stay in reality as well, so we must find a balance between the two now. It’s always about balance when it comes to the Full Moon, so keep working on it! The secret to our success is if we realize the magic we produce is inside of each and every one of us all the time!

This coming Week will be a very busy time for the Cosmos! On August 26, loving Venus moves into bolder Leo. So all you Leo Sun or Rising Signs can really shine for the next three weeks in this energy, get out there and take some selfies. But for everyone else it can be a great time to make deals or do some bargain shopping, just hold off on the big purchases until after Sept. 5th when Mercury comes out of Retrograde. This energy can make for strong romantic attractions, but also for overly aggressive love, so take it easy! This is a lucky time for most of us generally speaking as Venus will stay in Leo through Sept 20th. Enjoy!

Also, Saturn has gone directly now folks and remains in the sign of Sagittarius, so life finally starts moving again. This energy will help all of us start moving forward again in some specific area of our life. Something will come back around and you will feel it! The forward movement of Saturn brings about beginnings and onto very important journeys, so whatever path we end up on can be with the right people and in the right places.

Saturn is our COSMIC TEACHER!

He helps guide us towards our destiny. Saturn remains in Sagittarius for another four months, but the last few months of any Saturn aspect can feel harsh. Especially, if we haven’t done what we are supposed to be doing and learned our lessons. Maturity is always an issue with this planet. If you start to feel like life isn’t going in the direction it should be and you are having constant blocks or restrictions pop up, then there is something you need to learn or change. Take some time to figure out your life and the paths you are on. The answers aren’t that cryptic or that difficult to see, it’s right in front of you! These two heavy hitting planets working together can equal success for you and make things a little easier. Do something proactive in regards to a personal or professional goal. This weekend can be the perfect time to make something big happen!

Things get moving and life changes rather quickly for so many of you now, as we start to notice many of these changes are for the better, finally! Some of you have already started to release parts of yourself that just don’t work or serve you anymore, and other people are opening their eyes and seeing the roles they took on the last decade (at one point), just don’t match up with who they really are anymore. The rest of this year can be a Wake-Up Call! The Cosmos has been showing us just who we truly are and what parts of our life don’t’ make sense. Over the next few weeks, we will get even more clear because we can feel it in our soul! You can do something with this newfound clarity, especially now that the Sun has moved into more detailed Virgo this week. Virgo energy affects all of us, no matter your Sign, and pushes us to do something different that aligns more with who we truly are and our authentic-self, so we can live our lives in our truth and in the way we are meant to. It can take some time to process all this information, so go ahead and take some time to reflect on this and really think about your life now and what you want to break free from and change. The answers you seek are coming soon and they can change your life.

Over the last few weeks, you might have realized something about yourself or your life that you just don’t like and now over the coming weeks all this Virgo energy can help you create some changes that you want to make. This can be quite a powerful month indeed, for many different reasons. But here’s the thing you have to stay away from the more negative toxic people and situations, so if you cause trouble and frustrate people to the point of arguing, you will more than likely end being left alone and made to feel very isolated. So work on this and stop yourself, it’s not a good time to cause friction with others, it can cut you off from the ones who can actually help you down the road. We are supposed to take this time to work together and create positive changes now!

Over the next month or so the energies will be more aligned with what brings about peace, harmony, and finding balance. If you can achieve that, you can be very successful in whatever you set out to do. However, this can be a tricky time, so we can easily get tripped up and start fights fairly quickly. This rather strange energy will start coming together soon, and it can be very positive for those of us who don’t choose to get caught up in negativity. It is the time to leave that bad job or a negative situation and move on towards what you really need or want. Focus on what it is you need to release and allow the Universe to bring you more peace and miracles now, so you can get through the more tough or challenging times that may arise.

On September 5th Mercury will finally come out of Retrograde and move forward again, and then a Full Moon in Pisces will occur on the 6th, and you can feel pushed to move forward with your life. Between September 6th and the 21st is a major turning point in our lives. The best way to work through this time is to detach yourself from negative situations, attitudes, and people, or anyone you might have been around for a long time who is toxic, stop wasting your time with these folks. These situations can be very draining and they don’t support or promote your growth or happiness. But once you do some releasing work, you will free up some space for the better more positive energies and people to come into your life.

August 21st, 2017

The New Moon in Leo comes together Monday, August 21st, 2017 which is also a rare Solar Eclipse! The most anticipated and debated astrological event of the Summer is finally upon us.

New Moon Times:
Central: 1:30pm
Eastern: 2.30pm
Mountain: 12:30pm
Pacific: 11:30pm
A NEW MOON represents a New Cycle that the cosmos brings into help us create new beginnings. This also happens to be the day of the “Great American Solar Eclipse”, so let’s just get the facts straight:

– NEW MOONS ARE ALSO CALLED “DARK MOONS,” because they give off the lowest light during a calendar month.

– NEW MOONS are when the SUN is Conjunct the MOON. A new moon is a moment when the Sun and Moon are in conjunction, meaning that the Sun and Earth are on the opposite sides of the Moon.

– This NEW MOON is in the sign of Leo astrological this time around.

– On Monday, Aug. 21st the sky will go dark for a short period of time due to the SOLAR ECLIPSE!

– A SOLAR ECLIPSE, as viewed from Earth, occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, fully or partially from the Sun.

– A SOLAR ECLIPSE typically only happens with a NEW MOON, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction.

– In partial and annular Eclipses, only part of the Sun is obscured; during a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon, the Eclipse on August 21, 2017, is a Total one.

 

This New Moon cycle is the second of two New Moon’s both in Leo in a month. This Solar Eclipse marks the grand finale to this tumultuous “Eclipse Season” and a blazing new beginning on a personal and collective level. Leo is the most dramatic or more like theatrical and radiant sign of the Zodiac signs.

July’s New Moon in Leo was connected strongly to fiery Mars also in Leo, and that fiery energy was the booster to set this energy into motion.

However, the August New Moon’s energy feels more solid, stubborn, resolute, and uncompromising so there won’t be any hesitation, doubt, or resistance allowed at this time!

This New Moon brings with it a mysterious dark shadow that is cast on Earth, due to the “Total Solar Eclipse” also occurring, and this can be a positive influence that helps brings out our intuitive nature, therefore dreams and visions have been quite strong. TONIGHT’S SET YOUR NEW MOON INTENTIONS with this Rare NEW MOON/SOLAR ECLIPSE

The days following a New Moon phase are auspicious. The actual day of the New Moon the Balsamic or dark Moon period marks the beginning point when the heavens shift from dark to light. On the days following the New Moon magic is in the air and the inner life is awakened.

During the New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting some seeds of intention and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to think about what you’re grateful and what you have and to work on manifesting what you’d like next to show up in your life next.

Setting Intentions under the New Moon

This is an opportune time to ask the Universe for New Beginnings. The intentions that are set during a New Moon Ritual will set you on the right path towards your desires. Have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source, Guides, Angels, etc.) and ask for the New Moon to open up a path towards your deepest desires, and ask to be led to your manifestations. Plant seeds of intentions with your mind and heart. In the simplest of terms, write your wishes down and most importantly feel them.

You might be asking how does one Set Intentions under the New Moon?

 

First, you should set the mood and create the energy. So light some candles, burn some incense or sage, and play some calming meditative music. Get comfortable and simply write down your deepest desires, wishes or questions about your future and what you want next. Write down what you would like to manifest or create, and what kind of energy you are trying to bring into your life?

As you’re doing a ritual and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about.

  • What are you choosing or what changes would you like to see in your life?
  • What energy should you be calling in?
  • How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now, what kind of energy do you want to create in your life during this New Moon?

Now Visualize and feel what you’ve written down. Close your eyes and take some nice long deep breaths, and enter into your heart (the space you feel the love from) Visualize yourself in the desire or dream you’re creating. For example, see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that great Soulmate partner, or driving that new car. Keep it simple and see a particular goal being meet, see yourself feeling joyful and happy! See yourself manifesting what you would like to call in during the New Moon. Just don’t think about it, make sure and “FEEL IT” as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing.

The New Moon phase is the best time for planning and seeding your intentions. You’re going to need to be patient and wait for those seeds you have planted to grow, just like you would wait on a flower to sprout from a seedling and remember when a plant grows it needs sunlight. This is also true for us as we get our ideas together and make our visions known, it takes some time for our wishes or desires to surface into reality. The dark of the Moon or New Moon, is like the earth when you plant a flower it is dark, but once you ask for your dreams to come in…you are putting your Light on it and that is what it takes for it to grow, just like the Sun makes a flower grow, add some emotions to it and really feel what you are asking for and there is the water a flower would need to grow, see it’s all so symbolic for what we really are doing here.

Last but not least, you should work on being grateful what you already have on this planet, right in the here and now! Tell the Universe thank you and believe me once you start saying or writing down what you are grateful for, it won’t stop it will just keep coming to you. “The Beginning and the End”

This is the second of two New Moons in Leo over the course of the last month, which is actually quite unusual. All planets move by degrees that go from 0 to 29, and these two New Moons have been interesting indeed, because the first one that formed July 23rd was at 0 Degrees and the second one on Aug. 21st is at 29 Degrees, so we have already been in the New Beginnings and Endings with the “Great American Solar Eclipse” that comes together on Tues. August 21st.

New Moons represent the beginning of one cycle and the end of another new 28-day cycle, this particular New Moon is when the Sun and Moon are both in Leo, and conjunct each other, so they work together to create an amazing rare energy that represents New Beginnings coming into our lives, coupled along with the fact that it will also be a rare Total Solar Eclipse!

This New Moon represents all things Leo, so we should be focusing on some new ways to make certain parts of our lives better, like the romance in our relationships and in the relationships we have with our children, but also how we use our creativity and around any hobbies we do. This Leo energy also helps us to build up our self-confidence and pride we have in ourselves. so work on loving yourself some more.

This upcoming New Moon’s influence can be felt for up to six months after it comes together on August 21st due to a very powerful Solar Eclipse! Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even if it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde is that time out, it’s the chance to get caught up with life, it’s time to get unplugged, and take a long deep breath. It’s a good time to take time off from work if at all possible and focus on reworking what needs to be completed, and no the Universe doesn’t care if you have a deadline, or when it’s time to slow down and unplug, it simply just is.

Mercury rules the lower-mind or individual (finite) mind and its energies, so when it’s in a Retrograde cycle we tend to perceive things in a very different way.

Mercury in Retrograde, like all Retrograde plants, is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new astrological fad. Planets have always gone into Retrograde and will continue to do so. So every once in awhile we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Retrogrades cycle does help us to breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to know as this energy comes in is that it’s time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to re-search, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.

What Not To Do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

– Don’t start brand new projects
– Do not get into arguments, avoid critical folks and tense people or situations.
– Do Not Sign Contracts or New Agreements

– Do Not take misunderstandings personal. Our communication is foggy and clouded.

What To do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

– Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.

– Reconnect with the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.
– Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved, usually start this process two weeks prior to the actual Retro Cycle.
– Reorganize your daily life routines.

– Reflect and practice spiritual work.
– Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what no longer is working especially in your intimate relationships.

~What’s Positive During Mercury in Retrograde?
There can be positive effects to your life from Mercury in Retrograde that we just didn’t think about before. Like throwing out the old and organizing our lives. Focus on any past opportunities and reconsider them and see if they are still an option. We may just have to work around all the computer glitches and electronic snafus while doing so. It’s important to understand we don’t have to stop all our projects during the Mercury in Rx cycle. But it’s not an ideal time to start new ventures or to sign contracts, simply because for one reason or another we end up usually changing our mind once Mercury turns direct, or goes back to normal. However, it can be a great time to do some “outside of the box” thinking. It’s just best not to ACT until after Mercury is back to its normal pace. But if you can get something done in a different or unique way, go for it!

~With Mercury Retrograde in Virgo:
This time around our focus should be on re-organizing and reflecting. We see the world differently during this time and through these filters, we can have some very important inner-revelations. With Mercury in Rx it’s a good time to look at past decisions and ideas from a new enlightened perspective, but remember we can be especially analytical and critical, perhaps too much with Mercury in the sign of Virgo through the 31st.

Even though we may be especially stubborn or impatient. Lots of folks will end up returning to old projects and end up redoing, refining, and tweaking them. You may feel stuck in the past in some way while Mercury is Retrograde in Virgo, but you can find old or past ideas to be more useful now, so use them in new ways if you can make yourself move forward. This is a great time to review recent financial matters or work and discover mistakes or oversights. Plans or routines may be reconsidered in ways that can benefit you.

Mercury Rx is also a powerful time to study, particularly for returning to old studies and re-learning or refreshing knowledge around subjects that have already been taken.

This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past and help you reconnect to an old dream or goal to follow through on. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually, it doesn’t work out for the long-run. Because we are perceiving things in a different way and the truth tends to come out, and you just might notice or find some kind of detail you overlooked or didn’t catch before. This cycle can bring clarity and help you remove the restrictions or blocks that are in your way from achieving happiness.

It may not be as easy to communicate under this influence, but remember to try not to rationalize everything, which can prove difficult due to this particular Mercury in Retro being in analytical Virgo. Mercury Rx periods can be times of heightened inner-awareness, so might I suggest getting more involved in practices like meditation, keeping a journal, reworking old plans, reviewing or working on any activities involving your past. And this all can be quite helpful as it keeps your mind more focused and in the right space.

We can get a lot out of renewing our old self-care, health, or fitness programs. Plans are going to be thought about and then dropped rather quickly during this time, so be flexible to changes, as it just comes with the territory. This is a good time to reevaluate our routines and habits, as well as the meaning around what we do for a living, so around our work and any services we provide with Mercury in Virgo.

~Mercury Retrograde in Leo:
Mercury will switch signs into Leo, during its Retrograde phase starting August 31st through September 5th, this is a time for learning or relearning what we love doing. Look back and analyze your past romantic relationships or creative projects. It’s also a time for preparation, rehearsal, and redoing things. It especially can be a good time for role playing something before you actually say or do it!

~Mercury in Rx transits the Sun:
Retrograde Mercury is aligned with the Sun in Virgo on August 26th, this placement lights up our thinking. This connection makes for a favorable time for processing recent ideas or events, and for looking at past problems or issues from a new perspective with a new understanding. Remember what we say or write during this time can have more of an impact for better or worse! There can some amazing new ideas that come through during this time, so be creative!

Mercury will start retracing its steps and go into direct motion on September 5th, this period of time is called the “Shadow” phase and that ends on Sept.19th.

What’s also interesting to note is that Mercury returns to 28 degrees Leo before moving direct again, and this is exactly the same position of the “Solar Eclipse” on August 21st. Retrograde Mercury is also aligned with Mars at this Eclipse point on September 2nd and 3rd, those days are going to be significant, but I will have more on this later.

Well, we made it through this last weekend’s crazy energy and Monday’s Eclipse in Aquarius! Lunar Eclipses help folks move onward and upward! And endings bring new beginnings. For many of you, it was a rough ride. There has been a whole lot of folks crossing over as well, which is just what comes with the territory of the Eclipses. And there have been many other famous celebs throughout the years who have passed during Eclipse Seasons, but I have also seen many of my clients also lose their loved ones just recently during this go around. We just lost Glen Campbell on Tuesday and back in 1997 Princess Diana and Mother Theresa both passed during Eclipse time. Also back in 2009 Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett crossed over during Eclipse season. So that’s just to name a few of the stars we lost. I always say Eclipse Season is hard on human beings period. But even though Lunar Eclipses bring endings, they also pave the way for many new beginnings too, which I am seeing all over the place. New Jobs are really popular right now! The Great American Solar Eclipse is on August 21st and this will also be the day of the New Moon in Leo which is a beautiful energy! I suspect many of you will be headed towards unchartered territories and hopefully, you will enjoy some sort of new opportunity.

The Cosmic Energy during the month of August is just off the charts! There’s so much to write about, that us Astrologers are having a hard time keeping up! Mercury is also going Retrograde on August 12, so get prepared because it will be in Retrograde through September 5th.

How about some good news! The Sun is going to be spending the week making beautiful connections with lucky Jupiter! Woohoo! In my state alone, I have already seen tons of lucky lotto winners this last few day, so get out those lucky tickets and numbers and see what happens. Also, the Sun is still in Cancer, and this actually does affect all of us, just as the Sun transits all the different signs of the Zodiac year around, this energy doesn’t just affect Cancers, it has an influence on ALL OF YOU! And the Sun in Cancer is also being visited by loving Venus and dreamy Neptune in a positive aspect now. So Romance is in the air, and it’s a great time to enjoy your home and family.

Tuesday the Moon moved into Pisces and also has been in a nice trine to loving Venus, this is very healing energy that will last for the next few days. Wednesday night, Venus and Mercury are working nicely together, which creates loving thoughts. Money, love, and great conversations can produce good results at this time, so look for those opportunities throughout the week.

Thursday looks to be a little more emotionally tiring, and you may feel some sadness for a minute. There are some cosmic shifts that might interrupt your good vibes, but only if you let it! Don’t allow the sadness to take over and ruin your day, remind yourself that it is only temporary and it will soon pass.Some of the what we are feeling also is the last few months of Saturn’s ride through the sign of Sagittarius, am I going to miss this one! But Saturn is moving through the last degrees of Saturn and many of you are feeling this pretty strongly right now. Saturn is the planet that creates hardships and challenges, it is the stern cosmic teacher of the Zodiac, so it also rewards us for a job well done once we have passed all of its test and lessons. Over the past few years, Saturn has been in the sign of Sagittarius and some of you have had a whole lot of challenges. Especially, Pisces, Gemini, and Virgo, as you have had it rough being in rather tense connections to Saturn. So whenever we are experiencing the last degrees of Saturn, like we are now, the energy is harsher! It is the great teacher or more like the professor, and it pushes its lessons and gives out more homework during this time.

For those of you who were born under the sign of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo, you might notice some higher anxiety and stress throughout August time. You again just have to remind yourself to stay strong and push through whatever lessons Saturn is throwing your way because this won’t last much longer for you!

Meanwhile, Lucky Jupiter is blessing all of us in some way right now. As those especially born under the sign of LIbra can have some exceptionally good luck this month, and even more so for those born in the second week of October. On Monday afternoon, the Full Moon will come together when the Sun in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon is the peak or highest point of the Moon during its month long cycle, it’s an emotional energy and a time for romance, relationships, and fertilization. But it is also exciting feeling but tense in energy for all of us.

“The Full Moon is the time when your emotions come up to the surface for you to deal with them. If you work with them, you can clear yourself out energetically. The easiest way to do this is to make peace with the past during this time!”

This Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius helps us look at just how we are sharing our lives with others in all kinds of different relationships, be it the ones we have with loving partners or with a group of people in any part of our lives. The Full Moon’s energy is wise and truthful, so lies get told during this cycle and truths suddenly come out! It’s during this Lunar cycle that the night time is not even dark enough to hide our fears, hurts, emotional wounds, and flaws. Do yourself a favor and write out some questions to go over during this time, it can be a very eye-opening experience!

Ask yourself the following:
1) Are you happy right now?
2) Are you spending time with people that bring out your better qualities?
3) Do you feel like you sort of are invisible in a group?
4) Do you feel unappreciated and overlooked?
5) Can you disagree safely with the folks you are close too?
6) Are you allowed to show your true self in front of the people you are around or do you feel punished for doing so?

It’s normal to want to feel like we belong in a group or relationship, and it’s hurtful to feel like we don’t. But whatever the case may be it can be helpful from time to time to go it alone, and get some peace and quiet. Take some space to remind yourself who you are as an individual! This gives you the time to do life on your terms in your own way. Taking some time away or alone helps you figure out who you are, so in your relationships, you don’t lose yourself! Eventually, relationships where one person gives themselves totally away break apart in one way or another. This Eclipse wants you to balance out being who you are while being in your relationships.

This Full Moon is a partial Lunar Eclipse, and this is a very potent strong energy that mainly affects our relationships. And that means all types of relationships, not just the ones between two people. This influence can suddenly trigger us into thinking about our relationships and how we belong. So perhaps the relationships you have with your co-workers, or the relationship you have with your health and bodies, and so forth. It is a time when a matter comes to light, so all that is hidden, suppressed, secret, or unknown can suddenly come out to the surface. As we become aware our emotions can rise up and we can get very emotional like under any Full Moon, but this is an Eclipse which is a Full Moon but 10x stronger.

Eclipses cause an inner conflict around what we feel is lacking in our lives, so where are you in your life going without or what are you going without is the question, and especially in your relationships with a partner or in groups. You suddenly and without little warning may realize what it is you want or need under this influence. Our deepest desires seem to build up and this causes a conflict, so lots of folks are either cutting off people or are breaking up in relationships right now! But this means we also can become strongly aware of a need to keep someone in our life as well.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipses are about the relationships we have with others because it is the polarity between the Sun and the Moon and that influence we are feeling within ourselves, as the Sun represents Self and the Moon represents our Emotional Self and the Unconscious. This connection prompts us to take a look more closely at our own needs, desires, lacks, and what we want in our lives.
The Sun is in Leo (personal) currently and the Moon is in Aquarius (impersonal), during this Eclipse, so let’s break that down.

Leo energy is how we creatively express ourselves, and how we boost our ego enough to receive pleasure and experience romance. Aquarius energy is about the group so more impersonal friendships. This Full Moon helps us learn how to create the balance between these polar opposite signs within ourselves. So between experiencing romance and friendship, and being able to freely express ourselves both personally and impersonally. Leo energy for all of us no matter what your Sign maybe is about being part of a team but keeping our individualism and Aquarius energy is about taking care of the group.

The Sun in Leo is proud and intense and isn’t content with simply being just one of the group, it has to be able to be an individual separate of it and likes to lead it usually. The Moon in Aquarius energy is about how we can still be part of a team or group, but also remain an individual.

“Setting Intentions with the Full Moon”

This is an opportune time to ask the Universe to bless and release whatever you need to let go of, and do away with, and what doesn’t serve you. The intentions that are set during a “Full Moon” will set you on the right path towards your hopes, wishes, and desires by helping you release old pains and experiences that just have held you down or blocked you up! It’s time to get the old stuff out for good now.

During the Full Moon, we often experience an energy shift. So we must release the old energies to be open for the new energies that will be coming in.

What to Release under a Full Moon:

* Lower energies

* Negative patterns or bad habits* Unhealthy situations or relationships

What to work on during the Full Moon:

*Letting go of both the people and situations that aren’t working anymore (sometimes it is just an attitude or thought)

*Clearing space for new energies to come in

*Being GRATEFUL for what you already have and what will be

Have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, Guides, Angels, etc), and ask the “Full Moon” to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to allow the time needed for your guides to light the way, it doesn’t always happen right away, but sometimes magic happens and it does. The “Full Moon” illuminates and is symbolic for seeing what’s been hidden, secret, tucked away, or suppressed. So ask for the truths to be revealed during this time. 

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the “Full Moon.”
Follow the steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your Sacred Space

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do Full Moon work in. You are simply calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies. Next, close your eyes and breathe deeply …and call your Guides, Angels, or higher-power in and ask to have your sacred space cleared of any negative energy, and then to fill it up with the energy of love and light. (Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it.)

Step Two: Set the Atmosphere

Set the mood for your “Full Moon” Ritual and again burn some special incense, light some candles (colors do have different meanings) and play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be very different for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever tools or colors that make you feel calm, happy, and peaceful.

Step Three: Setting Intentions with the Full Moon energy

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Think about where you’re going to perform your energy work at. Because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep or do spiritual work! This is why you feel so comfortable in your favorite chair, not only because it feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot or space.

Next, you will write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in and remove both. Simply write your deepest truths, wishes, and questions down. Think about what energy you’re trying to let go of and release. Write your letter like as if you were talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to push out of your life, and what energy you’re trying to bring in, and be detailed but don’t go overboard. Don’t forget to leave room for the energies to shift, change and mold what you’re creating. Sometimes these things take time, but you also may want to learn how to hear the messages or receive signs from the Universe, usually it’s a very subtle energy. But over time usually, your questions will be answered. 

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about … for example; Ask for what you are choosing to come into your life and what changes you would like to see happen? What are you or should you be letting go of? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now? What do you want to release? Think about your long-term goals and your future, and what energy you’d like to create over the coming months.

Step Four: Visualize what you’re Creating

Now you’re going to visualize what you have written. First get comfortable again, preferably in the same place and read what you wrote. Close your eyes and take long deep breaths, in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest (not your pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that great Soul-Mate, driving that new car. Don’t just think about it, now make sure and “FEEL IT,” as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing. So if it makes you laugh, cry, scream or whatever, then go with it.

Step Five: Gratitude
It’s very important to work on releasing what you don’t want in your life during a Full Moon, but it’s equally as important to not leave a VOID after you are done. Which looks like you filling that space up with gratitude for what you do have and around the work you are doing. When we focus on what it is we don’t have we are focusing on “Lack”, and that will only bring in the things you don’t have. Remember what we put our attention on is what will show up! So instead think and feel the things you are grateful for in your heart, Ask yourself what makes you happy that is in your life right now! That way you are attracted more of that kind of “feeling” which will bring in more of the good feeling kind of energy, and that can make you way happier than getting all wrapped up in what isn’t in your life or being held captive by your pains and traumas. 

Allow the Universe to show you what path to follow over the next 30 days, and let the Full Moon light up the way! Hopefully, you’ll at least be put on a path towards what you truly desire, all while letting go of what you don’t need anymore.

For all the Signs of the Zodiac:

It’s an interesting weekend folks, especially Sunday as it can be a strong day for intuition and psychic abilities! This actually can be a great weekend to get a Psychic/Astrology Reading! It’s advised to get involved in activities that help you connect to your spirit. So do something spiritual this weekend, practicing anything that helps you connect to your Spirit so any kind of healing or energy work can be beneficial. From the 7th through the 11th think about maybe doing some meditation exercises, practicing yoga, or write in a journal, just whatever helps you heal your spirit in some way. Just connect to your heart and see what comes up.

We are feeling the energy of the upcoming Eclipses already, being we are in Eclipse Season and all.

The Full Moon next Monday is a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius. It will occur around 2 PM EST and 3 PM CST. It is at 15 degrees for those of you who really know your Astrology. This Eclipse is a very strong potent energy that can bring big news and surprises with it! This is a good time to also work on releasing Family Karma, as these powerful energies can help you let go of any old Karmic Lessons you keep having to repeat because you inherited them over time. There are lots of planets moving in and out of Retrograde (Backward) currently as well, these planetary cycles can push us into daring new terrain! We can feel the slow down from these influences. The upcoming Lunar Eclipse on Monday, Aug 7th is about endings and releasing something, while the Solar Eclipse on Aug. 21st helps to bring in a new dream or put us on a new path, and usually this is so you can get on track with your true soul journey in this life, so it’s for the better even if you cannot see it right now. Just keep reminding yourself of that if you fall on hard times. Eclipses are a very magical but hard on us humans, they can affect your life for quite a long time after they come together. Some folks believe for weeks others say for years, but I feel it’s probably different for all of us depending on just what points the Eclipses fall in our own personal Birth Charts!

Expect big changes, powerful endings, and new beginnings over the next several weeks and especially the few days prior to the FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE on Monday, Aug. 7th, and a few days after. It can be a highly charged time with lots of energy all over the place, people are going to be very emotional and extra sensitive now, due to this being a LUNAR ECLIPSE, there will be endings around us if you haven’t already noticed. But something new also will start to come in. The Solar Eclipse on Aug 21st is being called the GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE because it will be visible in many parts of the US. It’s a NEW MOON ECLIPSE in the last degree of Leo (29 degrees), remember in July we had a New Moon in the first degree of Leo, so this is an extremely powerful time to “Set Intentions” with the New Moon. Any Wishes you ask for during this time can last for awhile but may take a little while to come true, but this energy will last for a long time after August 21st. Venus enters the sign of Cancer today and stays there from July 31st through August 26th.
Venus has been in thinking mode for awhile now as it’s been in Gemini over the last several weeks, so now instead of thinking about love and money, we will be feeling LOVE and MONEY issues, which can be a great time to connect to your heart and manifest what you dream of!

Venus in Cancer helps all of us learn how to treat lovers and those we care for with sympathy and tenderness, and how to provide emotional nurturing that our loved ones need.

This is a time when we tend to take the path of least resistance and play it safe when it comes to our relationships, as love and commitment are very important for now, it brings a sense of contentment and security. In this energy, we’re seeking out a deep love where our souls come to together, and our individuality intertwines fully with our partners. In Cancer, Venus can be more nurturing, protective, cautious and fertile. But we can experience the mood swings while Venus is in Cancer because we are being led by our emotions so much.

We can have some serious tantrums with emotional highs and lows because we are so sensitive and impressionable, as we are strongly in touch with our inner-child. But this also can help us be more dedicated, warm, and devoted in love. You might feel more tender, romantic, and attached now to the object of your affection, and also to your finances. Our love is shown through are dedication, devotion, care, and concern. We are also more affectionate and hands on, especially if we feel safe and secure.

Venus rules over money as well as love, so under the Cancer energy we are being taught how to put money away and save for a rainy day unless we get overly emotional, then we could blow money in a big bad way! I also see a whole lot of folks over eat with Venus in the sign of the Crab, especially sweets, and that is because if we don’t feel loved or emotionally needed in some way we can end up turning towards food to cure our pain.

This afternoon we are entering into a new chapter with the Sun in Leo, one of self-discovery that can last all the way through the upcoming big Solar Eclipse on August 21st. Emotional breakdowns can occur for the next day while we shift onto this path.

There might be a moment here shortly where you realize you can’t get something you had your heart set on. This doesn’t mean you won’t ever get it. But for right now it’s not going to happen. And this can be around anything, it’s just something your heart wants.

However, this is happening for good reasons, be it timing or whatever. But this influence teaches us what our heart wants and needs are two different things! This means that house or new relationship may not happen right now, no matter how deeply you feel about it. And we just have to accept there are reasons we may not understand yet, but there’s still a reason. Evolving is funny like that, often what we want isn’t what we need to help us on our soul journey through life.

The way to handle this energy is to keep your heart open and don’t allow your mind or ego to make things worse. Because it can make you feel sad, confused, and even depressed! And then you start to focus on what is lacking, and negativity can set in. This takes you on a downward spiral and into the whole why or how you didn’t get something your heart wanted. This can make you angry and temper tantrums can occur. This does not solve your problems, it can drive you crazy and just makes you suffer.

Instead, it’s time to explore your heart and your options. Your heart wants other things that you don’t even know exist yet, things you haven’t even thought of! So it’s up to you to get on board and figure that out. So what’s your next wish or your next heart’s desire? Worrying and over thinking will only block you. But we are in a time where we might have to detach emotionally a little along this path to figure it all out. Patience is key.

There are going to be some challenges along this journey, with mental Mercury’s recent move into practical Virgo. This can have us hyper aware of the details and what we are lacking. So we can be more critical and analytical. If you don’t allow your mind to take over, and work on feeling what it is you want next, you will start to feel much better.

The Sun and Mars are both in Leo now, which means our hearts are strong. We are at the core of learning just how to obtain our hearts desires. This influence can help you get something you want and need. It just might be something different than what you had originally thought.

It’s time to stop thinking about what you don’t have or aren’t getting, and more on how you feel. Over the next few weeks we are detaching from whatever we wanted and by August 7th when the Lunar Eclipse occurs we will have done away with something or someone. It’s a time of letting go and releasing, be it people, things, or situations, as this Eclipse brings about powerful endings. So we may end up having to accept the fact that we aren’t getting something by that time. Then we will start to really work on a new dream and attaching to a new heart’s desire by the Big Solar Eclipse on August 21st because we will know more so what we want again.

It’s extremely important during this time, or as it’s called “Eclipse Season”, that you are kind and gentle on yourself. You can feel isolated and abandoned in some way, as you detach yourself from one dream and attach to a new one. As you feel this energy more, it’s important to ask yourself what it is your heart truly wants next. Just don’t expect an answer right away, this is a process. And it probably won’t all come together over night. Look to the Universe for signs and messages along the way to help guide you on this new journey.
