2022 – An Awakening!

2022 will be an interesting year indeed, it’s a year of healing on an Astrological level. There are still challenges to deal with, like the Pandemic, and let’s face it, and not everything will be sunshine and rainbows. However, 2022 is a whimsical year, and some folks will finally see their dreams come true!

The other part of 2022 can bring shocks and unexpected surprises. These influences are meant to help us connect to our soul path, which gives us a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. Destiny takes a hand as this New Year shows us what we are meant to be doing in this life. Take time for deep personal self-reflection, by taking part in activities that connect you to your spirit, like meditation, creative work, journaling, exercise, energy work, and anything that helps you tap into your higher-self. It’s a year to seriously go Zen, folks!

If we break down the more important planetary connections of 2022, we must look back to our past to learn and heal and then move forward into the future.

2020 was ruled by the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in the sign of sturdy Capricorn. 2021 was a time when the energies constantly pushed and pulled on us under the long-term Saturn/Uranus Square connection. These influences have been strong and challenging, and extremely difficult to handle at times, and we all know how both years turned out!

So finally, some good news! 2022 is not like the last few years, not at all! Even with the Saturn/Uranus Square still running in the backdrop, the worst of its influence is officially over! The other two major aspects in 2022 are actually very positive: Jupiter Conjunct Neptune in Pisces, and the North Node (destiny points of the Moon) Conjuncting Uranus in the sign of Taurus.

Jupiter Conjunct Neptune is an absolutely beautiful aspect. Jupiter is the great benefic planet of our Zodiac, and when it’s in spiritual Pisces, it’s a stronger positive influence in our lives. Neptune (Pisces ruling planet) is also considered to be spiritual, and it’s at home in the sign of Pisces. This influence can make real dreams come true! All of this may sound a little cliche, but Jupiter is the planet of luck, hope, and abundance, and Neptune is the planet of higher spirituality and dreams. So 2022 will have a theme of healing on a deep spiritual level, so there will be more positive Cosmic energies going around spreading joy and abundance all around.

Since Neptune is involved, I have to mention that escapism can be an issue, so If anything, you might feel like escaping your current reality more than ever in 2022! This energy can lead to spiritual retreat and denial, and there can be issues with drug abuse and alcoholism, so anything that helps us escape can be done in excess, leading to scarier problems. Just remember throughout 2022 it’s ok to have somw fun, but we have to deal with reality from time to time as well, especially during the Pandemic. This influence is meant to teach us to go within ourselves and find spiritual truth and healing, as this AWAKENING can help us believe in how truly magical our lives can be!

Uranus Conjunct the North Node is the other important aspect of 2022. The North Node is an Astrological point of the Moon, and it rules over our destiny and soul’s journey, along with the South Node. Uranus is the planet that brings random flashes of genius and insight, as it passes info from a higher source and our higher self. It is the planet of freedom and independence! So we can be liberated through our spiritual practices. Make sure to do so with an open mind, or you might not hear or understand the messages the Universe is trying to convey. You really don’t want to miss these messages.

The Uranus/North Node influence will abruptly awaken us, often with random A-ha moments and epiphanies. This serendipitous energy is about our true soul purpose and what we are meant to be doing with our lives. Often this lesson is about turning our pain into purpose. Therefore, this energy is not for the faint of heart. If you’ve been living in an illusion created by you or someone else, this influence can be disturbing because it’s meant to wake you out of your slumber, so there can be random events that are surprising or even shocking to jolt you out of the illusion.

However, if you’re confident about your purpose in this life and have struggled with getting on the right path towards your goals, this influence might get you on track. 2022 is a year to chase dreams as the Universe supports those who are headed in the right direction, and there shouldn’t be as many roadblocks along the way.

We can feel pulled in two different directions under these two very different Cosmic influences, and our lives can be turned upside down at times by rather surprising events. There can be unexpected changes and opportunities. And we may have to move fast to grab the good stuff, so pay attention, or you can be caught off guard and miss something important. 🌟The Cosmos kicks off December 2021 with a New Moon/Solar Eclipse on December 4. This energy starts to build up on Dec 1, and it can be intense feeling starting now!

A Solar Eclipse occurs at the time of the New Moon, which brings new beginnings, so this cycle often brings some lucky energies, which might have already started for some. And its influence runs through January of 2022.

🌟 Mark December 15 on your calendar as one of the most intense days of the month. For the next few weeks, we should take it easy and practice some self-care. Eclipse Season is always very hard on people.

🌟 Attention: if you are a sensitive type, Healer, Psychic, or Empath, you will probably feel this Eclipse energy even more, so make sure to work ahead to keep your energy fields protected.

The Solar Eclipse is potent, especially with the other cosmic transits occurring at the same time. It can make you feel like things are out of your control or even chaotic. 🌟 December 1 – Neptune Stations or stops to go direct from its Retrograde phase. With Neptune finally moving forward again since last June, secrets tend to be revealed. And for the next week or so, things can seem extra confusing, but we’ll start to feel inspired once again. As our inner muse randomly shows back up.

🌟 December 18 – the Full Moon in Gemini is opposing the Galactic Center at 27 degrees Sagittarius. This energy can be strange or unusual, so make sure and remember that things may not go as planned—more info to follow.

🌟 December 18 – Venus goes Retrograde (backward) while in the sign of Capricorn through the end of January. If you’re reading this at the beginning of December, you could already be dealing with the side effects, as Venus has entered its Retrograde shadow period.

This energy causes tensions in intimate relationships and with lovers. Still, it can affect your professional and personal relationships, both. It’s a time to let go of the things that aren’t of value to you anymore. It can be a difficult time financially, or we can see issues around what we value. Also, old lovers often come back around, and some may even want to get back together. Rarely do lovers who reunite during the Venus Retrograde cycle stay together after it’s over.

The Winter Solstice occurs, and the days start to grow longer. A time of endings that sets us up for new beginnings in Spring. It’s a very powerful day to Set Intentions with the Universe, so do some energy work or rituals like you would with a New or Full Moon. Take the time to write down your plans, goals, and wishes for the next three months and what you want to manifest in your life.

Starting in mid-December, we can feel the energies shift as the Karmic North and South Node points of Destiny shift into the sign of Taurus and Scorpio. These influences are big and can change how we handle what we value and our finances on a very large scale.

The North Nodes shifts into Taurus, and over the next year and a half, this energy will affect our financial affairs as it goes through a major overhaul. There’s a stronger desire to change jobs or start up some sort of side hustle to keep things secure for many of you. Other people will feel strongly about getting married or making long-term commitments in relationships. We want to create something stable and comfortable in our lives. Those who are unhappy with their work or relationships may finally have had enough and decide to cut their losses and walk away from their current situations. 🌟Lastly, the United States enters its Shadow phase of its Pluto Return. Pluto is the planet that shakes things down and often destroys foundations so that we can rebuild and transform them.

Pluto was Conjunct the Moon on its birthday, July 4, 1776. As Pluto moves closer to the Anaetic degree of Capricorn or the “Karmic Degree,” our country will see some major changes. Our nation’s Pluto Return will bring both rewards and difficulties. This energy runs from 2022-2024.

This energy, in the end, is for our own good and creates a better way of life and ways of living. But if we want to reach that point, this country needs to deal with its demons first! Welcome to Sagittarius Season. Over the last month, we’ve been navigating through our daily routines while feeling our emotions more deeply than usual, with the Scorpio Stellium (3 or more planets in the same sign) with the Sun, Mercury, and Mars all in the shadowy sign of Scorpio. We’ve been observing, researching, and secretly dealing with our emotional baggage.

But the November Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus just last week exposed our vulnerabilities, and it has tested our patience, as it brought many of our insecurities to light. This energy continues to encourage us to grow and evolve, even if we do it kicking and screaming.

These last few weeks have been intense, but you’ll notice a shift starting November 21 – 22, when the Sun shifts from the deeper waters of Scorpio into the lighter energy of Sagittarius.

Over the next month, we come out of the shadows and into the light a little bit at a time. This cycle pushes us to seek adventures as we feel freer. It also restores our hope and often faith in ourselves and others. It’s a time when we can visualize our possibilities, and can work on expanding our lives.

During Sagittarius Season, we tend to take on a more carefree attitude and rid ourselves of what holds us down. If you remain attached to emotional, mental, physical, or material burdens, it’s going to drag you down, so let go of all that junk during this transit, or you’ll get frustrated and angry. It’s a time to free yourself of problems and live in the present moment. That’s the motto during Sagittarius Season.

Sagittarius’s lessons for all of us are about the future, making things simple and honest, and not taking our emotions out on others. If you lose your cool, you could miss out. Staying positive can help you activate this larger-than-life energy.

The Sagittarius energy tends to make us feel more curious, bold, and daring enough to wander through unfamiliar territory and go after what we want. Feeling free of our fears helps us escape illusions that the Sun in Scorpio had us believing over the last month.

The Good News
In about a week’s time, at the beginning of the Sagittarius Season, you might notice some of your fears have melted away because you realize there’s nothing real supporting their existence. Perspective is everything, and this energy definitely can change how we see our lives and problems, as it shines a giant spotlight on our progress.

But just a word of caution, we can be overly optimistic and have very high expectations during this time. And COVID is surging in many nearby countries, and it looks like we may have restrictions put upon us once again as it rises here in the United States. The Sun in Sagittarius time can help us better understand our true meaning in this life and answer some questions about our existence. Which gives us a sense of purpose. This influence helps us have more trust and faith in the Universe again, creating a space to believe in something that’s not logical but more spiritual.

We become the light that guides us towards a happier life for ourselves and others. This influence brings our inner light to shine, but we can be quite aggressive if provoked. But our overall happy-go-lucky attitude helps us get through. New ideas and philosophies tend to pop up, which helps us learn and grow. Knowledge is extremely important during this time, so take the opportunities that come to learn about anything you can.

Since we feel more social, we tend to get out more and explore life. Our confidence gives us the courage and conviction to take the lead. And we take new paths and discover new journeys, which can open doors to amazing opportunities!

We can do well if we sync with the current cosmic energies and try new activities that are Sagittarius themed. The following things are strong during this time, travel, higher learning, spiritual journeys, school, books and reading, foreign places, religion, etc., philosophy, dreams, and Ah-ha moments.

Some of you will take new journeys that focus more on the true meaning of life so that you can gain more knowledge and a stronger sense of purpose.

Of course, it’s time to celebrate and be faithful, all very Sagittarian themes and symbolic of the Holiday season, no matter what path you believe or follow.

So enjoy this time because starting around December 22, we’ll have to get focused and take life much more seriously when Capricorn Season begins, a time to focus on taking care of business and getting to work. Holiday Eclipse Season 2021

Lunar Eclipse

The Holiday Eclipse Season is officially underway, and it often brings important life-changing energies into our lives. Eclipses always bring endings and new beginnings. The influence from an Eclipse can last up to a month or more after its peak, and some folks may have to deal with its side effects for up to a year. Eclipses often shake things up in our lives to create much-needed changes. These energies can force us to do something different or uncomfortable to initiate changes. 

A long time ago, many Astrologers and religious leaders believed that Eclipses created bad luck, especially for those in power or authority figures.

Eclipse Season kicks off with a Lunar Eclipse that occurs on November 19. There are always two Eclipses back to back, a Lunar & Solar one. 

The Nov. 19 Lunar Eclipse is in the sign of Taurus and occurs at 3:57 AM EST, 2:57 AM CST. This energy is strong and potent because a Lunar Eclipse is basically triple the energy of a Full Moon. So it can be extremely intense and difficult to handle for some people. 

During a Lunar Eclipse, we see truths come to light, which has already begun. It’s like taking truth serum. Since we are smack in the middle of Scorpio Season and under the influence of a Scorpio Stellium (3 or more planets in the same sign) involving Mars and Mercury, it’s truth-telling time when lies, secrets, repressed feelings, both hidden or denied, are revealed. 

This Eclipse energy is all over us throughout the rest of the year. As information randomly shows up, endings are also very possible. The Scorpio influences were under are ruled by Pluto, which represents endings, transformation, death, and rebirth. So these themes will play out in our lives, as we are already experiencing.  Eclipse Season, we tend to see the souls who are at peace with their lives, and are ready to leave, crossover. 

The second Eclipse is a Solar Eclipse that occurs on December 4 in the sign of Sagittarius. Solar Eclipses are just the opposite of a Lunar Eclipse and often bring new beginnings. Solar Eclipse can feel draining, but ultimately can revitalize and recharge us after they peak, as we receive interesting downloads of information and learn new and valuable information. 

The Holiday Eclipses mark the beginning of eight Eclipses that fall in the Signs of Taurus and Scorpio over the next two years. The fixed signs of the Zodiac, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius, both Sun & Rising Signs, will be most affected by these energies, but we all can feel them in one way or another. These energies are profoundly strong but can often be felt in subtle ways, so you’ll learn what part of your life they affect over time. 

If you’re into Astrology and know how to look up your Chart info, look for where Taurus and Sagittarius are in your Personal Birth Chart, and the House they’re transiting, and what it represents. That part of your life that will be the most affected. 

This November Lunar Eclipse may present us with more challenging energy than usual because of the other Cosmic connections between planets occurring simultaneously. At least don’t make any decisions or draw conclusions until it’s over. Gather information during this time and see all that you learn first. 

The Solar Eclipse on December 4 will be quite interesting because it connects to the United States Astrology Chart. (Every country, state, and even city in the world has its own birthday and an Astrology Birth Chart!) 

Solar Eclipses bring powerful and potent energies into our lives. The December Solar Eclipse comes along with the New Moon, so it’s an excellent time to Set Intentions with the Universe. Make your hopes, dreams, and wishes known. Get your thoughts out of your head and heart and written down, and make some magic happen! 

The United States and the Eclipses 

On December 4, the Solar Eclipse falls at 12 degrees in the sign of Sagittarius. This placement is interesting because the United States Ascendant or Rising sign is also at 12 degrees of Sagittarius. This conjunction is potent for the United States. 

The Holiday Eclipses of 2021 won’t be nearly as destructive as ones in the past, but they still can shake things up quite a bit. This influence will continue through June of 2022. There will be many endings and chapters closing and new beginnings initiated after the Eclipse occurs. 

FYI – Anyone who celebrates a birthday on the day before or after an Eclipse tends to have important major events for 12 months afterward.

Rubys Astro Readings|November 1st – 7th 

For All Zodiac Signs 

The Astrology Forecast for this week is interesting, but the energies can be extremely intense at times. There are four major planetary connections, and a New Moon in Scorpio occurs with a bit of a twist. Two planets shift signs through the Zodiac wheel, Venus and Mercury. So there’s a lot of energy moving around, which means there are a lot of different kinds of cosmic energies going around to work with. 

Mental Mercury is quite busy this week as it wraps up its Retrograde after-Shadow period. This whole Mercury Retrograde cycle has been difficult, with major electronic glitches, snafus, and misunderstandings, so we can be thankful that energy is nearly over! Mercury is currently moving through the sign of Libra, so our relationships and our communication skills are more important than usual. Work on communicating better in your relationships, seriously. 

Then a New Moon in Scorpio comes together on Nov 4, so we should wrap up old business and create plans for the next four days. It’s not the best time to start anything brand new. Just be patient until the New Moon, when the Cosmic energies will work with you and not against you.

This New Moon is different because it’s in opposition to shocking Uranus in Taurus. Uranus teaches us how to detach from our emotions and take care of business to obtain freedom and independence. This planet brings divine and higher self messages sometimes called “the bridge between Earth and the Heavens.” So pay attention to the Universe’s messages and any A-ha moments you have this week, as they can be important and helpful. If you’d like to change something up in your life, this is the week to do it! This energy can be especially helpful in letting go of negative energies and people who are not meant to be in your life anymore. Sometimes we have to let go of the past in order to create new beginnings. Be mindful of the changes you make, or they can become permanent.

Mon. Nov 1 –

The Moon remains in detailed Virgo but dips into its VOID cycle this afternoon, so it’s not the best time to start anything brand new. This influence lasts through this evening.

On Monday, a lovely connection between mental Mercury and lucky Jupiter occurs. It’s a great day to make plans, especially for next year. Jupiter helps us see the big picture, and Mercury helps us organize our ideas and thoughts. So at least make some goals out that you want to meet in 2022. It’s excellent energy for business matters and management and for finishing up agreements or commitments.

Chiron is meeting with the Sun causing our self-confidence to drop, and we can feel particularly vulnerable and guilty. It may not be easy to listen to our inner guidance today.

Tues. Nov 2 –

The Moon shifted last night into breezy Libra, and we can be extremely focused on our relationships. And to add to the intensity of the day, mental Mercury forms a tense square to powerful Pluto! First off, this energy can help us see a hidden aspect of ourselves and understand our true feelings. But it can also cause even more obsessive thinking and some serious paranoia. It’s not the time to be pushing your opinions or desires onto others. We can be quite direct as telling the truth comes naturally, but it can cause upset. Watch for manipulating others into feeling bad or guilty. We can make people feel alienated and frustrated, which can lead to bigger problems!

Wed. Nov 3 –

On Wednesday, the Moon continues to move through Libra. We may still feel tensions around power and control issues from the Moon/Pluto Squares influence still lingering for the first past of the day. So avoid power plays, especially at work. Later, the Moon-Mercury conjunction helps us find common ground and open up the lines of communication. The Sun comes out this afternoon, and the energies become more harmonious, especially when the emotional Moon meets up with Venus in fiery Sagittarius. Our emotions are in sync with our love lives, and couples and friends can enjoy some peace. Sexual activity is strong. 

Thurs. Nov 4 – New Moon

Otherwise, the Sun opposes shocking Uranus later this evening. This influence creates an unstable atmosphere, and people may do things completely off track from their normal routines. Expect the Unexpected! Watch for dangerous situations, and pay attention! This influence can lead to mishaps and accidents, so be extra careful. Take your time today and be mindful of all that you do. 

Friday, Nov 5 –

The Moon stays in mysterious Scorpio throughout most of the day, so if you didn’t get to Set Intentions with the New Moon energies yesterday, you’ve got until this evening. However, the Moon slips into the VOID early this afternoon, which can put us in a darker headspace. We can feel flat or unmotivated. So work on what you can and take care of yourselves. 

On Friday, two planets are changing signs through the Zodiac Wheel – Venus Enters Capricorn, and finally, Mercury leaves Libra and enters Scorpio. 

With Venus moving into stable Capricorn, we dance away from the fun and adventurous energy to get organized and deal with our reality. Capricorn energy is more traditional, and while transiting Venus, we tend to feel more comfortable and stable in our relationships and our financial affairs. With this energy in place, we should look at our responsibilities and duties within our relationships and make necessary changes. The work we put into our relationships and business dealings now will ultimately be more satisfying and rewarding down the road.

Later today, Mercury shifts signs finally, from its long transit through Libra, due to its Retrograde phase, and into deeper thinking Scorpio. This energy is part of an ongoing Scorpio Stellium (3 planets or more in the same Zodiac sign), with the Sun and Mars both in Scorpio as well. 

Mercury in Scorpio is the detective of the Zodiac. It gives us the ability to connect to our intuitive powers to see the unseen and helps us solve problems. It’s a time to seek the truth because, under all this Scorpio energy, we’re going to find plenty of it! Anything hidden, secret, or denied will be easier to expose during this time. So if you’ve got skeletons in the closet, you better come clean now while you can! Any important information learned during this cycle should be kept secret or quiet until you investigate how you want to proceed. Just do it carefully. 

Sat & Sun, Nov 6 & 7 –

The Moon is in fiery Sagittarius all weekend, so we feel more like getting out and having an adventure of some kind. There’s romance in the air, as mental Mercury makes a romantic connection to loving Venus. Relationships can benefit from this energy if you take some actions with your nearest and dearest. This month-long cycle keeps us hungry for knowledge and experience. There’s a stronger urge to mingle once again, so we search for new ways of doing things and for what’s original, different, or unique. It’s a time of self-expression, as our thoughts and actions both drive our ambitions.

During this time, we can become increasingly aware of what is no longer working in our lives and can strive to find what will, as we’re open to learning fresh new perspectives. After all, Aquarius is the Zodiac’s humanitarian, so we can feel pulled to like-minded people and groups to help them get what they rightfully deserve.

Under the Sun in Aquarius, we can feel artistic, friendly, and social. So our general attitude about life is more peaceful but also concerned. We can be quite detached emotionally simply because we want to take care of business. This energy can be nerve-wracking for some and cause high anxiety, especially if we focus on what’s lacking. Turn this worrisome energy into something you can manifest by setting goals and plans for the future. Tackle one thing at a time and prepare yourself. Concentrate on helping others because being detached from our emotions helps us put our feelings aside just long enough to take care of business.

Now that it’s officially Aquarius Season we as individuals will seek more independence and freedom. The status quo doesn’t satisfy. These limitations don’t sit well with us, and people feel quite irritated, especially under all this Aquarius energy because we have a deeper need to be free and alive! The shadow side of Aquarius is rebellion and possible revolution, and that’s already begun here in the US! It’s important to get out of our comfort zones and look into the furthest parts of our minds for answers and more peaceful resolutions!

There’s a lot of movement and excitement, usually during Aquarius Season, along with brilliant ideas and discoveries! We tend to be more open-minded so we can experience more awareness and knowingness. And there are some seriously important A-Ha moments and epiphanies. We can experience strokes of genius, as we’re flooded with information during this time. Taking notes and journal writing can be quite telling during this cycle.

With the Sun in Aquarius, we are better at expressing ourselves more openly. To flow better with this energy, we should try new ways of communicating and expressing ourselves. Areas of study that involve science, technology, and metaphysics can go extremely well. New Age is in, now that we are actually in the “Age of Aquarius,” as we are more attracted to the unusual, bizarre, or just something different.

Mercury, the planet of communication, has been burning through Sagittarius, the most upbeat, extra sign in the Zodiac for the past three and half weeks. You might have felt more optimistic, open-minded, and outspoken over the last month with Mercury in Sagittarius. But this has made it more difficult to focus on the details or use our words as carefully.

Mercury moved into Capricorn on December 6th, giving you a stronger sense of mental fortitude, confidence, and a hardworking attitude. Mercury, is the planet that rules over our way of thinking, and thought processes. It’s that time again, to be practical about what works or doesn’t. Since our thinking slows way down, we can be more serious during this cycle, but really we are just more focused. 

It’s a great period to seek out people you know who are experienced or wise, especially if they’ve accomplished something you want to achieve. These mentors or teachers can give out some valuable advice, and even may connect you with the right people who can help you achieve your goals in the long run.

With Mercury in Capricorn, our thinking is much more systematic, and our focus is more practical and sober. Under this influence, it’s much easier to concentrate on the task at hand. But our conversations can bring up reality checks, as we focus more on business and practical matters. Our thought processes and patterns of communication are more logical, orderly, and organized now. It’s easier to sort out what is relevant and essential, which helps us KEEP THINGS REAL, as we speak in a no-nonsense manner. Being precise and cautious comes more naturally. However, we need to be wary of becoming too rigid with our thoughts and words, as we can appear cold, cut-off, or harsh to others, and there is a fine line between being real and pessimistic.

The Earth Signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn can thrive under this influence, but the Cardinal Signs Aries, Cancer, and Libra might struggle to keep up until Mercury enters Aquarius in Feb. of 2023.
