November 2019 – Astro Highlights

November 1st – Venus Enters Sagittarius

Since lovely and lusty Venus is now finished with its trip through the murky waters of Scorpio, it moves back into the light in fiery Sagittarius. So basically we can feel more hopeful and optimistic in things like love, relationships, and with situations involving our money! If you have been hiding your heart or your feelings from those you love, it’s time to come back out to the land of the living and find what makes you happy and brings you joy! It’s time to use this new hopeful energy to overcome your fears and remember that anything is possible.

November 5th, 2019 – Mars Square Pluto

Mars makes a tense square to intense Pluto, which can bring power struggles and a stronger desire to win someone or something over. With Mars involved you may want to assert yourself and get what you want and do it right away! But no matter how much you may want something, there may be circumstances or people that will make it more difficult if not impossible. When Mars Squares Pluto we are challenged or tested to see what we are capable of, and why not, this helps us learn how to be good at losing. Sometimes we fear losing, but this influence tends to push us out of our comfort zone, so we can reach our full potential. If you never learn how to lose in your life you will never be able to win.

November 11th, 2019 – Mercury Conjunct Sun 

When Mercury meets up with the Sun it begins a new Mercury cycle, this is a great time to finish up any projects that take mental concentration. Do you have perhaps a book or website you need to finish? Maybe you want to learn a new skill or sell something online? Mercury will be hanging out with the Sun who will help you with what your next move should be to obtain your goals. This won’t happen again for years, so if an opportunity comes up definitely see what it’s all about.

November 12th, 2019 – Full Moon In Taurus

The Full Moons in Taurus are some of the best feeling most lucky Full Moons of the year. This particular Full Moon is also making some interesting meeting with Neptune in Pisces, and some sweet Trines to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, and is opposing Mercury in Scorpio. Yes, that is a lot of energy to go around. Because there is so much Earth energy involved, the Full Moon in Taurus will help us deal with obvious problems that we have been choosing to ignore or refuse to deal with. This is a time of common sense and sound judgment, so with the Full Moon in Taurus you will see what you get and you probably will get what you see. It’s important to watch for being overly stubborn, although some self-interest is healthy and necessary, as Taurus energy helps us to put some much-needed attention on ourselves once again.

November 14th, 2019 – Venus Square Neptune

When Venus makes a square to Neptune our feelings of insecurity can lead to high expectations that just are not going to happen, perhaps in the way we had hoped for. Because this Square is in the most hopeful but foggier signs of the Zodiac, you should be extra careful about wishful thinking. How we see ourselves can become an issue in our relationships, as we have a tendency to over-idealize romance and relationships, and plain out ignore warning signs that most others can see so well. This is a time to pay attention and reassess your hopes and dreams, but it’s just as important not to set the bar so high, and it’s equally as important to understand what’s realistically possible and what’s not! We deserve the Sun and Moon, but sometimes we push things and don’t allow ourselves enough time to get there. Don’t let this energy discourage you, be patient. We are more tender and affectionate at this time which can lead to new relationships, but stay woke folks, as the Neptunian influence can cause confusion. It’s just wise to wait until after this transit is over before making any commitments, so don’t be so trusting and fall victim to the wrong person.

“Warning for anyone who is susceptible to the influence of alcohol or drugs, this is a time when addiction can go too far and often there are overdoses. Be mindful and if you suffer from depression make sure and talk to someone if you are feeling bad, there is always someone who will listen.”

November 19th, 2019 – Mars Enters Scorpio

With Mars in Scorpio, it can be easier to assert yourself in the actions you take, so you can feel more driven and focused to get things done. Mars is at home in Scorpio, being the co-ruler of this sign, so it likes it here and will assist you on getting things done. We are more strong-willed, passionate, single-minded, and resilient under this energy. Once you are on a mission it can be very difficult for anyone to stop you during this time. There is a stronger desire to experience our emotional depths, so we can feel the urge to penetrate the surface of life in order to explore deeper levels of powerful existence. This is also a time where we can get caught up in what others tend to repress, so all that has been hidden, kept secret, or ignored can come out to experience and understand better.

November 20th, 2019 – Mercury Goes Direct

Hooray, Mercury stations direct and moves out of its Retrograde phase! Mercury has spent an unusually long time in Scorpio and has been in Retrograde since Halloween, and even though it will stay in Scorpio for a few more weeks, things can slowly start to go back to normal when it comes to communications, especially. Our inner detective has been strong, but with Mercury direct now, some of the things you were researching or obsessing over will finally make sense or slowly start to come together. As things start to make sense, be mindful that a flood of information can start to pour back in to make sense of and this can be mentally overwhelming and stressful. Expect some “a-ha” moments over the next few weeks, but also things may be rocky at first. Mercury doesn’t just start and stop on a dim, it moves as we do and now that is headed in the right direction once again, it also has to pick up the pace and get back to its normal speed. This “Shadow period” as it is commonly called means there may be more disruptions and misunderstandings. Slowly but surely Mercury will get back to normal and so will our lives again, as technical glitches and snafus will start to calm back down, and the things that weren’t making sense will again very soon.

November 22, 2019 – Sun Enters Sagittarius

The Sun enters into the sign of Sagittarius today, so Happy Birthday to all of you Sagittarians! Thanks to the Sagittarius season, we all become a bit wiser, hopeful and adventurous this time of the year.

This transit lasts through December 21st. With the Sun in Sagittarius, our focus shifts from the need to make intimate connections with others to a stronger need to get out and have an adventure. While the Sun moves through this fiery mutable sign, there is an urge to learn, grown, and expand our horizons, so we want to understand the world around us. This is a time when we seek out truth but also the higher meaning of any situation we focus on. Our faith and hope are restored and we can feel optimistic about life once again.

Since we are feeling more brave and courageous, we want to head down new and different paths, as our minds are wide open. Our confidence levels can soar now, so we can be overly optimistic as we focus more on the “bigger picture” and our dreams, instead of just the little details of our mundane everyday life. However, we tend to overdo things and can get carried away! This is the perfect time to work on our faith, hope, and future visions. This is your time to dream big. Don’t worry about the “how”, just make sure your goals are big enough and motivating, as you want to find your true meaning and purpose. 

November 24th, 2019 – Venus Conjunct Jupiter 

This amazing energy is what all the Astrologers have been talking about, so if you are an Astrology enthusiast of some kind, you might be quite excited to learn about this energy! However, on the same day Mars starts is opposition with rebellious Uranus, and the Moon also briefly joins Mars in the middle of this heated up energy. This can produce a lot of intensity and a strong desire for change. You may not want change because you want to move away from something, or because your current situation is unstable, but many of you are also feeling anxious and excited all at the same time about new opportunities coming in.

This certainly can be one heck of a freaking interesting day for many different reasons. It seems like those who have strong Sagittarius energy in their chart will experience some sort of expansion, uplifting, or happy go lucky kind of energy with these influences. While the fixed signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius) may feel like they are caught up in a whirlwind of craziness. But no matter what you sign maybe we all will feel this energy in one way or another. Be careful of accidents and make sure to pay attention to your surroundings.

November 26th, 2019 – Venus Enters Capricorn

Venus the planet of love, money, and lust changes signs into realistic, accomplished Capricorn. Venus moves fast around the Zodiac wheel in exact order, so we must take advantage of the energies she puts off while in the sign of Capricorn for about the next month. You can feel more reserved when it comes to displaying your emotional side which can help if you are feeling overwhelmed when dealing with a partner or significant others. Be careful as you can bury all those emotions way too deep, and they can come out in a more impulsive, negative or even angry way!

With this placement, our relationships tend to be more on the practical side. That’s because we tend to see people for who they are, and are not afraid to lay the cards out on the table, as we simply take things more seriously. Since we appreciate maturity in our relationships, we take our time when it comes to love and tend to slowly warm up to others, then we can make long-term commitments. There will be more focus on business relationships as well during this time. Hopefully, any emotional issues that come up can be addressed before this cycle begins, so start to get prepared for it now.

November 26th, 2019 – New Moon In Sagittarius 

This New Moon is a fabulous one, full of great feeling vibes with another interesting conjunction between lovely Venus and lucky Jupiter, so in fact, this New Moon can reactivate this amazing energy, and then for the cherry on top of this Cosmic Sundae is sweet Mercury and mystical Neptune in water signs hooking up! This is just one of those New Moons that are rare, the best one of year in fact! So it’s a great time for Setting Intentions, (telling the Universe what you want to see happen next in your life) and for visualization work. Get up today and start making a Vision Board, (when you take pictures and literally post them up on a board or a corkboard to see every day, helping create the energy of what you want to see happen in your life.)

Now for the more shadow side to this New Moon, is that aggressive Mars is opposing rebellious Uranus at the same time. This can bring chaotic energy! There also can be more irritation, hostility, or unexpected changes. Anger can boil over and turn into rash actions and silly temper tantrums. We can feel more impulsive and have a total disregard for following the rules, it can feel more important to break the rules to be free from our responsibilities and obligations.

Mercury Retrograde – Deeper Thoughts

Mercury goes Retrograde on Halloween October 31st, 2019 and runs through November 17, 2019.

Mercury is currently in the sign of Scorpio, this is a deep, potent, psychological energy. Therefore we go into a more private introverted place that has us exploring the deeper parts of our minds and psyche, as we learn truths that come from the depths of our souls. What is considered to be taboo or secret comes out in the open. The truth comes out to be told! The sign of Scorpio, after all, is the sign of regeneration, as it teaches all of us that sometimes we must fall to pieces and let something end or die off to start over again. If we take this cycle to plan and strategize we can make things happen once it’s over! As we go back to revisit and revise our plans we can go much deeper than usual while in this cycle and uncover ways to improve our lives and ourselves.

Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even though it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the Cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we can have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde (Rx for short) is that time out, it’s an opportunity to get caught up with life, and a time to unplug and take a long deep breath. It’s also a great time to take some time off from our responsibilities if at all possible, maybe taking a little vacay and focus on reworking anything that needs to be done, or finishing projects that were never done to completion, while Mercury rules over our minds and thoughts. When this fast-moving planet goes into Retrograde we start to perceive things in a very different and unique way.

Mercury in Rx like all Retrograde planets is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new Astrological fad! Planets have always gone into Retrograde cycles and will continue to. So every once in a while we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Rx cycle does is help us to take a breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to understand as this cycle takes hold that it’s a time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to research, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.

Mercury rules over our minds and how we process information, so this is a time to observe our lives from an outside perspective, which is truly a gift. From this space, we have the rare opportunity to see the contrast in our lives and what is working and what isn’t. The only problem is we live in a time of INFORMATION and after all, Mercury is the planet that delivers info, but during its Retrograde cycles, it wants us to simply UNPLUG and take a step back from our normal everyday routines and lives, and to not be online or on our phones, CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT! But if we were to stop using all of our electronic devices and take work off, and simply review our lives it would be a much better experience. The reality is only a few of you reading this are actually able to do this. So the challenge is in learning how to handle Mercury in Retrograde and still do our lives. Those of you who already pay attention to Mercury in Rx’s cycles understand just how annoying all the misunderstandings, electronic glitches, and snafus can be! So the bottom line is we should learn how to put our phones down from time to time and just simply do life, as this is a time of deep inner reflection.

What Not To Do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

  • Don’t start brand new projects
  • Do not get into arguments, avoid critical folks and tense people or situations.
  • Do Not Sign Contracts or New Agreements
  • Avoid Travel
  • Do Not take misunderstandings personal. Our Minds and Communication is foggy and cloudy.

What To do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

  • Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.
  • Double Check the Facts and any info gathered.
  • Revisit what you need to, like your work.
  • Reconnect with the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.
  • Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved,
    usually start this process two weeks before the actual Retro Cycle.
  • Reorganize your daily life routines.
  • Declutter.
  • Reflect and practice spiritual work.
  • Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what is no longer working, especially in your intimate relationships.

There can be positive things that come from a Mercury in Retrograde cycle that perhaps didn’t cross your mind. Like throwing out old stuff you no longer need or use, and organizing your life. Stay focused on any past opportunities and reconsider them now, see if they’re still an option. Try not to allow any computer glitches or electronic snafus you might be experiencing to upset you too much.

Since it’s the Holiday Season, it’s important to keep a paper trail of whatever you purchase. Mercury is known as the “trickster” of the Zodiac, so it likes to play tricks that make us change our minds suddenly and this causes confusion.

So our focus should be on re-organizing and reflecting. We see the world a little differently during this time, and through these filters, we can have some very important inner revelations. It may not be as easy to communicate under this influence, so remember trying to rationalize everything at this time will just probably cause you more confusion. Logic is out and intuition is in! Mercury Rx periods can be times of heightened inner-awareness, so doing things like meditation, keeping a journal, reworking old plans, reviewing, or reconnecting to your past can be quite helpful. Mercury Rx is also a powerful time to study, particularly for returning to old studies and re-learning or refreshing knowledge around a subject that’s already been started.

This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past, and reconnect you to an old dream or goal to follow through on once this cycle is over, but write it all down for now and plan ahead. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually, it doesn’t work out for the long-run. But it’s nice to reconnect and perhaps sort out any unresolved issues you might have.

Because we are perceiving things differently, and Mercury and the Sun are both in the sign of Scorpio this time around, the truth tends to come out! Certain things that have been suppressed, hidden, secret or unknown suddenly are shown to us during this time. You just might notice or find some kind of detail you overlooked or didn’t catch before, which can be very helpful. This cycle can bring clarity and help you move past any restrictions or blocks standing in your way. Mercury begins retracing its steps in direct motion starting November 17, 2019.

A Different Kind Of New Moon!

The New Moon takes place in the Sign of Scorpio ironically enough this October, but these energies will be felt strongly starting Saturday the 26th through the 28th. The actual New Moon comes together on Sunday the 27th in the evening here in the US.

This New Moon energy is meeting up with some other planets making it very different and challenging energy to deal with. There can be situations that provoke anger, and lies or deceptions. Lovers and relationships, in general, can have issues with high ideals that have been set and explosive attitudes around those expectations. The Uranus opposition to the New Moon is not compatible with its energy and therefore, it contradicts the awesome New Moon energy! So it may not feel like an ordinary New Moon, which is usually much more peaceful hopeful for most.

Since the Sun and Moon are both in the sign of Scorpio during this New Moon, our desires run deep and our will is stronger than usual. Our lives are under a microscope that involve our very existence, so we can become obsessed with thoughts about life and death. Scorpio is the sign of Regeneration after all. Any issues that suddenly come up now can be viewed as a matter of “life or death”, which is extreme, but so are our thoughts and emotions, which can be fiercely intense at this time.

With the New Moon in Scorpio stirring up such intense emotions, all that has been hidden, buried, repressed, taboo, or kept secret is ready to be discovered. This energy is supercharged with intense psychological energy, so it can affect our psyche in a powerful way that can help transform us! But this is not usually a fun process. Being aware is, however, half the battle and can help you understand what you need to move forward. Don’t be in denial or lie to yourself, or you won’t get the lessons involved from this New Moon energy and can struggle and suffer.

When the New Moon is in the sign of Scorpio our emotional depth mixes with our equally strong willpower to survive and succeed, at whatever we put our time and energy into. This makes for a stronger source of psychological energy to draw from. The only issue is we can catch others off guard by expressing ourselves rather suddenly and unexpectedly in a strong manner, this can cause tensions with other people, and then they may not trust us enough to deal with the real problems at hand.

This New Moon has such a different vibe with the planet Uranus almost precisely in an opposition to it! So it can feel like a Full Moon, as anxiety levels run high. The emotional Scorpio intensity is strong and needs some sort of transformation, this can make us feel excited and restless as we have a strong need for independence that can fill us full of nervous energy. Something needs to shift or change in our world in order to calm back down, but we may not even know where to start.

All of the Signs of the Zodiac will be affected by this energy, but it can be especially strong for the “Fixed Signs” of the Zodiac which are as follows; Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, especially those born in the First decan of each sign, so the first week of each of these signs. And the “Cardinal Signs” as well so, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn especially those born in the Second decan of their sign, which is the second week of each of those signs.

The New Moon’s Effects

During this New Moon there can be unexpected events that challenge what we have come to trust and understand to be true. Tensions can grow high and there can be rash and strong reactions from others. This influence tends to bring up issues around our emotional security and love life. Some folks will notice the feelings they’ve been stuffing deep down suddenly coming out in a very exaggerated manner. We can suddenly feel a strong urge to express our emotions out loud about our relationships, and this energy can trigger us and we may start to obsess about why we are with our partners or lovers in the first place. This creates a fog over our situations and makes it that much more confusing, especially with Mercury just about to go Retrograde also in the sign of the Scorpio. There might be a case of mistaken expectations of our partners, and what we thought they could or would do. We must sit back and observe for now, and perhaps take some sort of mental notes, but it would be silly to take any actions at this time, until the New Moon energy has passed and we are more clear and less judgmental about what we are doing and seeing!

This energy is extremely sexual, and therefore many of you will feel a strong desire to express your sexuality, but that may become frustrating or a waste of time and energy in some way. Just remember to keep your cool as this energy can cause tension, anger, and crisis, which can lead to separations and even breakups in any kind of relationship.

It’s important to have patience and remain polite to keep the peace. Try to think before reacting, and work on being more compromising. This is the best way to avoid these tense energy from kicking up! Perhaps the battles are not over for now, but do you really want to wage War under these energies? Unless you feel done with the relationship, then go for it, otherwise take a step back and a deep breathe and learn more so about how to compromise. That is what it takes to maintain a healthy relationship, and perhaps that is what this energy is trying to teach us, to be patient with our partners.

Setting Intentions with the New Moon

It may almost seem kind of scary to “Set Intentions” with this particular New Moon, due to the unstable energy it’s bringing to us, being hooked into a strong opposition with the planet Uranus. However, Scorpio energy is some strong magic folks, it is an alchemist at its very core. This is the time to go deep and ask for some kind of blessing or miracle. Being saturated by so much Scorpio energy we have the power to transform any situation in our lives. Uranus is the spark that helps creates miracles, it’s lightning speed and energy can change anything fast! Astrologers enjoy precision and this New Moon will hit us right where it counts, so it can be very powerful energy to work with! Take advantage of this powerful energy and wield it in the direction towards what you most strongly desire. This won’t be a waste of time I assure you as Scorpio is the sign that started and defined what Desire truly is in the first place.

The sign of Scorpio is notoriously known for being the darkest (symbolically speaking), mysterious, and deeply psychological sign in the Zodiac, as it explores the soul when it’s under the light of the Sun and truths, deceptions, and secrets are exposed.

Scorpio’s lessons are about depth, intimacy, and transformation. Anything fake or false will be shown for what it truly is while the Sun is in this sign, so if something or someone is superficial it simply won’t work for you at this time, only the real deal will do! This sign and its energy is the detective of the Zodiac, therefore we are more interested in getting to the bottom of our problems, as we work at uncovering what’s been hidden, suppressed, or unseen. We also can be quite obsessed with other people’s problems and can feel a strong urge to help those around us. Under this energy, you might actually enjoy all that is odd, taboo, or different in the world. Anything just plain or average may not be enough for us during this time.

During Libra Season, while the Sun was in Libra over the last month we worked at being fair and equal, as our attention was on our relationships and keeping things more balanced. But under this
Scorpio energy we accept the fact that life isn’t fair, and we are learning to understand that pain and suffering are actually part of the process of life. In order to truly evolve, we must transform ourselves and perhaps go some sort of major breakdown to end something and begin anew.

Scorpio energy is also quite sexy, mysterious, and provocative! So there’s going to be some interesting situations that spark up in our relationships while the Sun is in Scorpio. And the single folks out there may search for a strong love, committed, and long-term during this time. This Scorpio influence keeps us perhaps a little more reserved about how passionate we truly feel, but we can still be strong-willed and intense. This is a time of powerful emotions and some of you might feel rather emotional during its run. The sign of Scorpio is often represented by the Scorpion, but also, the Mythical Bird, the “Phoenix” can represent this brave sign. The legend of the Phoenix is about how once were ready to go, die off, or end our chapter in this life, this magical bird flies up in the air and catches fire and turns to dust! But from that state, it comes back and resurrects itself back to being whole. Once it has risen back to life, it is ready to start over again. This legend teaches us that sometimes we have to fall apart, and let something end, or let a part ourselves die off to resurrect and come back to life, so we can tap into some kind of new energy and start something anew.

The shadow side of Scorpio energy is we can become more easily jealous, paranoid, obsessive, and manipulative. This energy can cause some of you to be more obsessive about an issue or problem, as we can be compulsive and won’t let things just happen naturally. This, of course, will get you nowhere and it might be more difficult to stop once you have started focusing on something.

Despite how scary or creepy this all might sound, Scorpio is part of the Zodiac Wheel for a reason and we all have a little or a lot of this sign in each of our Astrology Birth Charts. Scorpio energy also gives us incredible drive and strength, which in turn can help us get through difficult times. This sign knows how to survive the worst of situations and has extra reserved up energy to get through. Scorpio energy kicks ass and takes names once it is forced to die off like the Phoenix, so it can figure out whatever it needs to know to come back. So draw upon the Scorpio energy during this time to help you take on difficult tasks or situations in your life.

Curious Mercury and loving Venus are also in the sign of Scorpio at this time, which also runs through Scorpio Season. This means our souls, hearts, and minds are all being ruled by the Scorpio energy, therefore, some of you will be breaking your lives down to rise up once again, and perhaps resurrect yourselves in some way just like the Phoenix!

This can be amazing energy to work with if you want to finish something in your life, after all, Scorpio Season is a time of endings, hence why we choose to celebrate Halloween during this time, as Halloween originated from the Holiday the “Day of the Dead,” which is a time when we should be honoring those who have passed or crossed over, it’s a time to be in touch with our ancestors who lived here before us. With so much Scorpio energy this season going around the veils between this world and other realms are very thin, and we will have an extra spooky Halloween Season as our minds are very in sync with the afterlife and paranormal. Therefore many of you will be able to connect to loved ones who have crossed more easily than usual. And those spirits and energies that are still roaming on this earthly plane will be restless, so often that means more communicative as well. But remember they have to communicate differently with us.

This is also a time when the earth sheds itself, as the Fall into Winter months is the time the planet dies off so to speak, but we know next Spring it will resurrect itself and start all over again. Ask yourself what part of your life do you need to end? What are you shedding away? What part of your life needs to die off and perhaps be started all over? Are you being forced to look at certain parts of your life now, so you will end something? This can be any part of your life, an old worn-out behavior or attitude, a situation, or it could be with a person. Or perhaps it is something spiritual within yourself.

Happy Birthday, Libra! And Happy Libra Season to all.
The Sun shifts from practical, detailed Virgo into the sign of harmony and balance, Libra, through October 23.

This is our “Autumnal Equinox”, and we will experience equal hours of daylight as darkness. Today is something to talk about because not only is the Sun moved into charming Libra, but so has the “great messenger” Mercury and the Goddess of Love, Venus. So our core-self, minds, and hearts are in sync, besides the constant need for balance these aspects turn our focus towards our relationships, as these influences bring in the energy of balance, cooperation, and equality. It’s a good time to work on balancing your personal life and relationships.

We can feel mentally sharper and be made more aware of issues of injustice by being able to spot unfair treatment. We may have to stand up for ourselves or someone else during this time. This seems to come out more so with family and close friends. It can be easier at this time to see all sides to most situations, so we can have a hard time choosing sides while trying to figure things out. Just remember you can’t make everyone happy, as decision making can prove to be difficult. This is a good time to meet others halfway, compromise, and work on negotiations. Take into consideration other folks needs, agendas, and desires as well as your own. We might start playing the role of peacemaker, so we can be very diplomatic when it comes to dealing with problems or in business dealings. We desire peace and harmony and create that energy both aware and unconsciously.

Be careful to not seek out the approval of others too much during this cycle, as it can be difficult to know who’s telling the truth sometimes. Follow your gut instincts during Libra Season as our inner awareness is very strong. We have an extra boost of intuition now with mental Mercury also in the sign of Libra, so it’s just natural to study other folks and their behaviors and body language. Follow that little voice inside your head, it is strong under all this Libra energy, we all can be quite Psychic and will be able to see through other people quite quickly.

This transit can affect those with Leo or Libra Suns Signs or Rising signs quite strongly, but this energy affects all of us! Sun in Libra folks should feel a great big jolt of confidence and playfulness over these next four weeks, and Leo may be made more aware of how to balance themselves both emotionally and physically.

While under the Sun in Libra we will strive to keep some sort of balance and greater equilibrium for the next month. So we are working on lessons involving such things as style, charm, tact, tolerance, and our social skills. The more shadow side of Libra energy shows us how we are more indecisive, passive-aggressive, fake or superficial, and a bit narcissistic. Learn from this time, as there is going to be a whole lot of Libra energy surrounding us for the next month or so.

The Seasons are changing once again and on September 23, 2019, the Sun moves into the sign of Libra, which marks the official beginning of the Autumn Equinox! Libra’s energy is all about finding balance, so we can learn how to live in harmony with others, especially in our relationships (of all kinds). Our partnerships and relationships will become very important during this time. This sign teaches us to look at life from a more compassionate but also accommodating perspective. It’s a good time to get out there and date if you are looking for love, as this is a time when the energies tend to create peace and harmony in the world. Generally speaking, this sign helps us to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.

The Equinox gives us an opportunity to experience something new or different. This big shift in energy will be more focused on allowing our goals to meet their full potential. This has already been a difficult time for Mother Nature, she is still in a huge cleansing process that was initiated by the Eclipses over the summer. You are invited to work on balancing yourself and finding some sort of stability as well. However, as we work on getting our equilibrium back we will have to take on some lessons at first, so we have to accept this is the process we must follow, as the Universe puts us through tests and challenges. However, these lessons often help us to grow, mature, and evolve.

The energies have already been slowing down with Saturn going Direct and out of Retrograde just a week ago, so as we go through this major shift we can start to finally arrive, this means we will get those moments of peace where we can catch our breath and just take a long break! It’s time to move forward with your future goals and plans, you might just find others who will want to help or support you while reaching your goals.

The human race has been going through a lot and we can start to finally recover if only for a short time. The things or projects we put off and didn’t take care of will start to show up to be dealt with and finished over the Last Quarter of 2019. As new paths are opened and revealed, our reality will change and the Equinox’s energies can really help smooth things over as we adjust to these changes.

It is very important to embrace all that is happening now, and not hide from challenges, so trust yourself and your inner voice to guide you. Listen to your higher-self and your intuition. Many of you are already feeling drained and just off, but once we get on the paths we are supposed to be on things will start to calm down. Just a reminder for next month, on Halloween Mercury turns Retrograde for three weeks, this is a time to turn inward and do some sort of inner healing work, especially on how we hold and use our own personal power in the world. This will be a time when our thoughts can easily turn towards past lovers and ex-spouses or even just attractions we once had. Our feelings may be surprising, but for some folks especially woman you can become obsessed and get stuck on a past ex-lover, boyfriend, or attraction! So this can be an emotionally draining and demanding time. However, it is a great time to work at releasing those unhealthy attachments you have to the past and reclaim your power, and finally let those folks go on a deeper soul level!

This energy rolling in now will start to calm things down a bit, and should help us with the more difficult issues we’ve been having, so we basically are going into a time of recovery! Just give the Cosmos a little time to come together and allow these new energies to flow just where they need to. Try to stay as positive as you can and focus on what is to come, because it truly makes a difference even if things don’t appear that way at first. Patience is key to your success now.

Setting Intentions with the Full Moon!

The Full Moon energy is building now and will occur Friday the 13th late at night, or very early Saturday morning depending on what part of the world you live in. So starting anytime today you can work on “Setting Intentions” with the Full Moon energy. This is a time to work on releasing from your heart what you no longer need, or what isn’t working for you! Work with the Cosmos and write a letter or meditate, and tell the Universe what it is you want to see happen in your life next. Let go of what needs to be done, be it a situation, person, or change in behavior. What do you want to release? What would you like to create or manifest? It can be about anything. You might be pleasantly surprised with the outcome, as this Full Moon illuminates the truth around the same time as some other cosmic connections are opening up doors for us to release old Karmic Debt. This is your chance to wipe the slate clean! And you get to rewrite the next chapters of your life! Think about your hopes, dreams, and desires, and feel it as if you already have obtained your goals.

This is an opportune time to ask the Universe to release whatever you need to let go, or do away with, and what doesn’t serve you. The intentions that are set during a “Full Moon” will set you on the right path towards your hopes, wishes, and desires. This is the best time to do some energy work and releasing old pains and experiences that might have held you down or blocked you up! It’s time to get the old stuff out so the new energies can come in! 

During the Full Moon, we often experience an energy shift, so we must release the old energies to open up doorways so to speak, so the new energies can be allowed into our lives.

What to Release under a Full Moon:

  • Lower energies
  • Negative patterns or bad habits
  • Unhealthy situations or relationships

What to work on during the Full Moon:

  • Letting go of both the people and situations that aren’t working anymore. And sometimes it is just an attitude or thought
  • Clearing space for new energies to come in
  • Being GRATEFUL for what you already have and what will be

Have a conversation with the Universe, (your higher power, Spirit Guides, Angels, God, etc) whatever you call it! Ask for the “Full Moon” to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be put on a path towards your dreams and goals.

Patience is important! Remember to allow the time needed for the Moon to light the way, as it doesn’t always happen right away. But sometimes magic happens and it does. The “Full Moon” illuminates the truth and is symbolic for seeing what’s been hidden, secret, tucked away, or suppressed. So ask for the truth to be revealed during this time. You just might be pleasantly surprised by what you learn.

Setting Intentions Guide

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the Full Moon. Follow the steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your Sacred Space
Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do your Full Moon work. You are simply calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies. Think about where you’re going to perform your energy work. Because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit, sleep or do spiritual work! This is why you feel so comfy in your favorite chair because it feels safe and secure. But also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot or space.

Step Two: Set the Atmosphere
Set the mood or your Full Moon Ritual. Burn some special incense, light some candles (colors do have different meanings,) and play some mood or ambient music that helps you feel spiritually connected. This can be very different for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever tools or colors that make you feel calm, happy, and peaceful.

Step Three: Let It Out
You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Writing pen to paper can be magical! It helps sync up the mind and body! Then you write what you’d like the Universe to bring in and remove both. Simply write your deepest truths, wishes, and questions down. Think about what energy you’re trying to let go of and release. Write the letter like as if you were talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to push out of your life, and what energy you’re trying to bring in, and be detailed but don’t go overboard. 

And just know sometimes things take time. Often we just miss the signs and messages the Universe is sending because they are so subtle. They are not always some sort of earth-shattering sign that shows up like a lightning bolt! More often it’s simply a bird landing in your backyard, or hearing a song on the radio that seems to have special meaning just for you. If you pay attention and see everything as a sign, you will start to quickly pick up on what the Universe is trying to tell you! 

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about, for example; Ask for what you are choosing to come into your life? What changes would you like to see happen? What are you or should you be letting go of? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now? What do you want to release? Think about your long-term goals and your future, and what energy you’d like to create over the coming months.

Step Four: Visualize what you’re Creating
Now you’re going to visualize what you have written. First get comfortable again, preferably in the same place and read what you wrote very closely. Then close your eyes and take some long deep breaths, in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, (that’s in the middle of your chest, not your actual pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.”

Next, Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with a Soul-Mate, driving that new car, (just smell that new car smell!) Don’t just think about what you want, but make sure and “FEEL IT,” as if you are really experiencing what you’re visualizing. If this makes you laugh, cry, scream, or whatever, then go with it.

Step Five: Gratitude
It’s very important to work on releasing what you don’t want in your life during a Full Moon, but it’s equally as important to not leave a VOID after you are done. So you need to fill that space from releasing with gratitude. Being grateful for what you have and around the work you are doing. When we focus on what it is we don’t have we are focusing on “Lack”, and that will only bring in the things we don’t want. Remember what we put our attention on is what will show up! So instead think and feel the things you are grateful for in your heart. Think about what you already have and be grateful for that. Then you will attract more of that kind of energy, which in turn brings in some better feeling stuff! Don’t be held captive by your pains and past trauma, call in the good stuff folks. Yes, you deserve something good, wonderful and amazing! 

Allow the Universe to show you what path to follow over the next month, and let the Full Moons light show you the way! Hopefully, at the very least you will be put on a path towards what you truly desire, all while letting go of what you don’t need in your life anymore. It truly is a miraculous process once you learn how to work with the Moon’s energies.

A little Fun Fact is that this Full Moon is considered to be what’s called a “Micro-Moon.” This cute little Full Moon is actually the exact opposite of a “Super-Moon”, which is closer to planet Earth. So a Miro-Moon is actually at its farthest point from the Earth. Some scientists believe this does lessen its effects on the planet, but I will bet many others don’t agree, but we love this little guy irregardless. You go little Micro-Moon!

During this time there are usually sudden discoveries made, and we can experience epiphanies and sudden flashes of insight that help Keep Things Real! Our high expectations can get us into some trouble, as we expect more! Our imaginations are very strong, therefore we have a rich fantasy game going on right now, and can have some issues dealing with reality.

Feelings of needing to change course or escaping can also be very strong during this time, which can be fine if we escape in healthy ways through such things as music, movies, entertainment, or just reading a good book. Since this is an emotionally intense time, some folks will turn to alcohol or drugs to forget about their troubles and pain. Not only can this be a problem, but it can be downright dangerous with foggy Neptune’s energy involved. We can lose control and slip into some sort of lost energy, as we cross boundaries and overdo things. Please be careful and keep a watchful eye out for anyone you see struggling, as depression can set in and poor choices can be made. Mercury in Leo– “Express Yourself”

For All Zodiac Signs:
Mercury entered the sign of proud and expressive Leo on August 11th, and runs through August 29th. With mental Mercury the planet that rules our minds and the way we communicate in the sign of Leo our will and way of thinking is very strong, so we can feel more confident and tend to demand respect. But we don’t mind expressing ourselves as much, and enjoy the finer things in life. 

However, we can get quite upset if we feel someone is talking down to us, or is not listening to what we are saying. We should be extra careful, especially with the Sun, Venus, and Mars already in the sign of Leo! That’s a whole lot of fire energy going on and we can be extremely aggressive, pushy, or overbearing. Some folks do not understand how to handle all this strong energy, so if you start to feel upset take some time away and get space, so you can keep that Roar down to a purr.

It’s a good time to focus on your goals, and the more magnificent they are the better. This cycle can help us organize our thoughts, so we can concentrate for longer periods of time, which can help us meet our goals. Our minds are full of energy and our will power is strong, we are full of perseverance and have a stronger sense of purpose. We also may feel more proud and hopeful, so our thoughts just naturally turn to the positive. We can generally be more kind, easy-going, and cheerful, but we also can be quite opinionating, stubborn, arrogant, and forceful.

The little actions we take do really matter in this energy,but the details aren’t as important because we want to get to the point and have some fun. We are much more expressive and a little dramatic, and can do well when we get an opportunity to express ourselves, so giving speeches or telling stories can go quite well. We also can be very charming, convincing, and persuasive because we are so full of confidence and pride, especially when we speak or write. Therefore, we should be mindful to listen to people to hear them and not just to reply, because we might want to chat a lot more than usual. Also, watch for gossip, it is all too easy to start talking about other folks during this time, and we can get wrapped up in what we’re talking about and end up oversharing private information with the wrong people.

With the planet Mercury ruling our thoughts and how we express ourselves in the sign of Leo, we may be particularly concerned with our looks and how we present ourselves, under this energy people feel more like dressing up as we are on the grand stage of life and everyone else is the audience. This doesn’t necessarily mean we will want attention from everyone however, we can be very picky and choosy about whom we draw to us and be actually more closed off or even shy emotionally about our deeper truths.

It is NOT a good time to starve yourself, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t diet or eat healthier, but make sure to eat several small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar leveled. Depriving yourself will not go well and can make you feel rather aggressive and moody! You might just crave extra saucy, fatty food, so don’t go overboard.

After working hard we also may feel more like playing just as hard, so set time aside to allow your inner-child to explore and have some fun, this is a very natural way of being under this Leo energy, and if we choose to ignore it and not allow ourselves some time to relax and enjoy something we love, we can become quite irritated and lonely.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse
For All Signs Of The Zodiac 

The Moon is Full in the sign of Capricorn on July 16, 2019, and it’s a partial Lunar Eclipse. It comes together around 4:39 PM CST, 5:39 PM EDT.  The Eclipse occurs when the Moon in Capricorn opposes the Sun in Cancer.

This is an especially potent Full Moon, being its a Partial Lunar Eclipse, so our focus turns towards our relationships under this lunation. But also our work and family lives. 

Eclipses create the energy of crisis in our lives, and often they bring up what we are lacking. This is a time when we can suddenly realize there’s something missing, perhaps a need or want we can’t seem to fulfill. This Eclipse can actually split some relationships up, but it also brings folks together. Suddenly, we may realize that there’s a need to have other folks around helping support us. This is also about making sure the foundation of our soul tribe of friends and family is strong. But Lunar Eclipses are not always about relationships, they can also bring up certain needs in other areas of our life, such as our relationship to our work, or to our health and bodies, it really can be about anything. The Full Moon lights up our deeper feelings that have been just sitting below the surface to be dealt with. 

Under the Full Moon, we can be very emotional and express ourselves without warning. This is a time when some folks will claim out loud what they are really about and what they want in life. We are reacting from a strong but illogical emotional place. Lunar Eclipses are stronger and more potent than a normal Full Moon, so its effects can last up to about six months after it occurs. 

Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and are oppositions, this time around the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Capricorn are bumping against one another. So we must take a closer look at our needs, lacks and wants in our lives and create a balance around what we should be working on. This Full Moon is about our personal private lives, our need for a secure home base, and how we nurture ourselves. The other side of this energy is our public life, careers, reputations, and how we take responsibility. Being attached and love is ruled by Cancer, while our success and rewards and punishments are ruled by Capricorn energy, this polarity deals with balancing unconditional and conditional love. The Cancer energy involved encourages us to value our home life and that foundation, as well as our roots, while the Capricorn energy wants us to consider our sense of duty and responsibility along with our professional lives. Cancer energy is about being content with being dependent, Capricorn wants us to grow the hell up and take responsibility! Cancer energy also represents the beginning and where we come from, and Capricorn is about the goals we set. Ideally, setting some sort of balance between these two energies is what the Full Moon is asking us to do.

This Full Moon is helping us learn how to strike a balance between our commitments to our work and families both. As we’ve been holding onto something emotionally that’s very important, as the Cosmos is reminding us via the Full Moon that it’s still there to let out and express how we are feeling, so these issues to be released. Hopefully, over time we’ll have all the information we need to better understand what all of this means.  

The Full Moon energy brings up an inner conflict to be dealt with, and it can prove difficult to sit with such strong feelings, so we need to find ways to express them. This causes that crisis situation, as some kind of sudden awareness around what we are lacking in our life usually comes up! This is an opportunity to figure out what we need. So during this highly emotionally charged time, our relationships can be challenging, and either broken or dramatically made even stronger. We also may experience some kind of major Ah-Ha moments or epiphanies. This leads us to learning more about what we don’t have and taking some actions to obtain it. 

Full Moons and especially Lunar Eclipses bring up issues in our lives to finish something. Our emotions are stronger than usual and there’s often some sort of drama involved around whatever part of our own personal Astrology Birth Chart the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse is cruising through. That’s the area of our life that the Cosmos is pushing us to make much-needed changes in. There can be some serious drama in whatever part of our life this Eclipse is going through. So a path is often revealed to us, so we can move towards it and make things better, if we understand it or not, it is trying to align us with our true Soul Journey, as our life destiny is at play. Usually, these issues are something we’ve been sitting on or ignoring, so our emotions have been building, and this Eclipse helps us realize they are still there, we just haven’t chosen to work through them yet. The Full Moon’s light and energy draw them out into the open, so if we get in touch with our emotions we can get a much more clear idea about what actually needs to be done or changed and let go of.

The Lunar Eclipse occurring in the sign of Capricorn sets off our inner awareness about the flaws in the structures we’ve built in our lives, especially in our careers and involving our home and family life. So there are serious decisions that need to be made to fix things. This Lunar Eclipse is a powerful one with confrontational energy, because it’s making a conjunction to psychological and powerful Pluto, and is opposite Mercury (now in Retrograde). This brings out intense emotional reactions compulsive behavior, and of course, power struggles around crisis situations, so this can be quite a complicated time, as there’s a stronger need to do something, it can cause us to feel a sense of urgency. Take some time for yourself and try to relax while we get through this strong energy.

“New Moon Setting Intentions Guide”

There’s a New Moon occurring soon, which makes this the best time of the Month to set some powerful intentions. These Wish Lists or Intentions can be about your future dreams, desires, and goals. Learning how to work with the cycles of the Moon can be a life-changing experience.

*Setting Intentions*

During a New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting seeds of intention from our heart and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to be grateful for what we have, so we can work on manifesting what energy we want to come into our lives next. We can create whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, or even love! It really doesn’t matter, but we have to take an action, both, physically and spiritually, together, to make it really happen and stick! And no, not everything you want is going to just magically appear. But you will more than likely get put on the path towards your wishes, even if you don’t realize it and that sometimes take time, so be patient. But it’s nice to know at least we are headed in the right direction.

Also, just sometimes when you Set Intentions with the New Moon energy amazing things happen and you get what you want very quickly!

At least by “Setting Intentions” with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to begin heading down and that’s a start. Then the energies will begin to line up to get you there, and if you continue to stay persistent and connected, and keep doing this work it truly can change your life circumstances for the better. I am like those old commercials, I don’t just talk about it, I have lived it! LOL! And this work, just works! It’s that simple.

The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of New Beginnings when you can recharge your goals with new energy. During the New Moon, we often experience some sort of major “energy shift.”

Here are some ideas on just how to Manifest under a New Moon:

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

2. Share your Intentions with someone in a supportive way, who will be encouraging.

3. Do something to demonstrate your commitment to your intention. For example, taking even a small action around what it is your asking to create! Send an email, move something in your house, or make a phone call perhaps.

4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would, and then take the next step.

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source Energy, higher-self, Guides, Angels, etc), and work with the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that will lead you toward your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to be patient and simply allow the time needed, things don’t always happen right away, as we can get taken down certain paths to find our way to what it is we’re looking for. And sometimes magic just happens, you just never know!

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the New Moon?

Follow the Steps below to learn how:

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do any New Moon work. Think about where you are going to do this work, because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair, because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot or space.

Step One: Clear Your Sacred Space

You are simply calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies! Maybe say a blessing or a special prayer that helps you feel cleared and protected. Next, close your eyes and breathe deeply and call upon your Guides, Angels, or higher power and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill up the special space you are working in with the energy of light, love, and protection. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it. Never leave a VOID when working with energy.

Step Two: Set the atmosphere

Set the mood for your New Moon Ritual and burn some special incense, light some candles (colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), and play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be a very different experience for everyone, just make sure to use whatever colors, music, and tools that make you feel calm, centered, and peaceful.

Step Three: Setting Intentions

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with.

Now write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life, and be detailed about what you want to see happen next in your life, and what energies you’re willing to work with.

As you’re doing this work and Setting your Intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about. For example; ask for what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now? What do you want to change and create?

Think about your long-term goals and future. Be careful about focusing too much on the how, why, and when’s around how you will get what you want! Instead, focus more on what it is you are choosing and how you want to FEEL. See the end result! Only see the ultimate ending and again what it feels like when you receive what it is you are choosing! What you see in your mind’s eye, so don’t focus on how you get it, or the hurdles you have to jump, or sacrifices you may have to make. Just allow the Universe to shoulder the burden for you once you have requested what you want and let them take care of the rest. Have some faith in something. Rule # One is always energy follows thought, it will come to you in one way or another, or you’ll be put at least on a path towards your goals.

Step Four: Visualize

It’s time to visualize what you have written. Close your eyes and take some long deep breaths, so in your nose and out your mouth. Repeat this about 4 or 5 times. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest, not over your pumping heart but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you are actually trying to create or manifest. For example: see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that Soul-Mate, or driving that new car. Just don’t think it folks, make sure and FEEL IT, as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing!

Finally, allow the Universe to show you which paths to follow over the next month, and look for any signs or symbols that will help you along your journey, so you may bring in what you truly desire and let go of what you don’t want! Don’t forget to show gratitude in some way and tell the Universe or Moon thank you in advance.

You also might gain some clarity around something or someone that is not serving your higher good, and they actually could be blocking you from your desires. So, in other words, pay attention after you’re done doing this work so you can clearly understand what the Universe is trying to show you!
