The build-up of energy to the Full Moon in Scorpio on May 18th has begun! This Full Moon marks the beginning of a new energy cycle for all of us! On Saturday afternoon, the Sun in Taurus opposes the Moon in Scorpio and a Full Moon occurs.
The closer to Earth the Moon gets as it builds to go Full the stronger its energies are felt, as this energy intensifies we feel it on a very deep emotional level. You’re probably already feeling it! You might feel nervous, tired, or just anxious, and lots of folks don’t sleep very well when the Full Moon starts to form, which can last through the weekend. Our dreams are usually very strong and vivid during a Full Moon and wThisis an emotional time and our energy is focused more so on romance and our relationships.
Our deepest emotions are what manifests our life! If we understand it or not, due to most of it being unconscious as the Moon rules over this part of us on a deep soul level. If we are aware of it or not! Therefore, it’s important to keep our energies on a higher vibrational level this weekend. If we can sustain a somewhat higher vibration within ourselves then our life will reflect just that and we can manifest our goals, wishes, and desires much easier.
Each month the Full Moon helps us discover certain truths, so as we gain this clarity we can work on specific wishes or desires. The Moon also help us release and let go of situations, people, or energies to make room for whatever new energies we are trying to manifest. Full Moons create endings in this way, and then two weeks later during the next New or Dark Moon we can start planting seeds for something else new to begin, so we are always moving energies in and out of our lives.
During this Full Moon, the Universe is inviting you to work on something specifically! And that all depends on just where the Full Moon is going through your own personal Astrology “Birth Chart”. This tells you what part of your life you should be focusing on, but you probably are already being made of aware of what it is about by now.
Under this particular Full Moon, we have to deal with the Taurus-Scorpio energies and create some sort of balance between what’s considered to be “yours” and “ours!” The energy is focused on how we feel versus our own personal transformation. While the Taurus energy wants us to deal with matters around personal values, material things, possessions, and security. The Scorpio energy rules things like shared possessions, change, discovery, and transformation. The Sun in Taurus encourages us to feel happier by keeping things simple, while the Scorpio Moon is more complex feeling and wants us to dive deeper into the mysteries of life.
This Full Moon is pushing and pulling on us emotionally to find a balance between these two very different energies. And we tend to make some pretty strong emotional declarations during this time, so the pressure is building up within us, and now is the time when this energy has to come out and be released in one way or another! Like a boiling pot of water, something has to overflow.
My best advice is to find constructive ways to release these overwhelming feelings through some sort of self-expression. So if you can talk to a friend and vent about how you are feeling, or maybe write in a journal. Or go somewhere private and vent out loud! Yell, Scream, or Cry out those feelings and let things go and release whatever is bothering you.
Full Moons are about exposing or illuminating issues that are already there, but that has not yet been dealt with.
The Full Moon will light up any conflict you might having right now and intensity it! With the Moon all shiny and full in the night sky, it is symbolic for any illumination that occurs in our own lives. But since these feelings and our Ah-ha moments are new and emotional, they can come out suddenly! It’s the right time to express ourselves and for these feelings to just come out into the open. But proceed with caution, since we are just learning ourselves what these energies are about, so we may be quite irrational and not make a lot of sense as of yet!
This Full Moon also is occurring right around the time that Venus and Uranus align which can add surprises and revelations. This alignment also connects to deeper feeling Pluto which can cause strong need to make some sort of changes that feels necessary.

Nowadays, it’s become common knowledge to understand what Mercury in Retrograde is all about, but what you might not know is all the planets have a Retrograde cycle, which is when the planets appear to be moving backward in the sky! And these Cosmic shifts do cause significant changes and effects on all of us if we are aware of it or not! Saturn in Retrograde is considered to be a very powerful energy and marks a turning point in our lives.
Starting April 29 the ringed-planet Saturn starts its five-month-long trip in its Retrograde cycle, through Sept 18. This astrological event occurs just over every twelve months, lasting for nearly 4 and 1/2 months. Saturn Retrograde is not rare and lots of folks are born under one as well. This is a time of restrictions, blocks, limitations, and some anxiety and fear. The skills we learn during this Retrograde phase will prove essential to our growth for the long-term. In the coming days, you may feel off, weighed down, and disoriented, as once again our perspective shifts. But this is how we are affected by Retrograde planets at first anyway, at least until we have a chance to adjust to the shift in energy.
Often it’s the very beginning and the end of these cycles (or commonly called Shadow Periods) that are the toughest or most challenging time. Just remember Retrograde cycles are always about perspective, so as these planets appear to be moving backward through the Cosmos, we too can feel like we’re going backward in our own lives, but it is a time to at least slow-down!
During Saturn’s Retrograde cycle, it is a good time to revisit our relationships and work on any long-term goals we may have, as this is a time to pay close attention to our responsibilities and duties. It’s a time to restructure the way we manifest our reality and find new ways of thinking, and perhaps, adopt a different attitude about how to remove what is blocking us, or how to get through the obstacles that are in our way.
Saturn is known as the “Lord of Karma,” and while Retrograde it is a time when Karma is sorted out. Therefore, Saturn Retrograde can be a double dose of Karma handed-out. Karma is actually a form of energy that is very real, and like Saturn, it is very closely bound to time.
Over the next week, during the beginning of Saturn’s Retro phase, as it turns completely Retrograde, we may begin to feel the weight of it in certain situations quite heavily, especially around our responsibilities. Many of you will actually let go of certain commitments including relationships, jobs, or business deals, which can leave you wondering why you even bothered with them in the first place. We may feel somewhat disconnected and lose our motivation. It might be difficult to make important decisions during these influences, as our energy levels can be low. All of this is due to a change in perspective. We will learn how to find our footing and regain some sort of balance into next week, (into the first week of May), as we grow more accustomed to these shifts. Then we can turn Saturn’s Retrograde cycle into an opportunity, which is the most powerful way to see any Retrograde planet! Make this a time to go over and review your responsibilities, so you can figure out what’s working and what’s not. Take on any challenges you are dealing with and face your reality with gumption and make things happen, Saturn always rewards us for our hard work by the way.
It’s important to slow down now and reconnect with what makes you feel useful, like your work, relationships, and duties. This, in fact, is not a good time to add anything to your existing responsibilities or duties, as the extra projects will just stress you out even more. We should be cutting back and reducing what we normally take on right now, it’s a time to make things simple folks! Any delays you happen to run in to now are just a kind reminder from the Universe that its time to make adjustments. This is a chance to make edits and corrections that are necessary for your success. This is a major time out from the Cosmos.
This influence has us take a look back at what we have already done or taken care of, so it can make you feel like you are moving backward and like you’re not moving forward. Actually, this is happening so you can review or go back over something that normally otherwise you wouldn’t have. Everything ruled by Saturn is under the microscope now and it’s a good idea to review these kinds of things. Like any rules or regulations you should be following, structures at work or in business, and traditions and foundations. Making changes to our ongoing projects or going over old ones can be successful, however, taking on new projects or responsibilities or commitments is probably not a great idea, it’s a time to simplify and restructure our lives first.
During Saturn’s Retrograde phase we will be dealing with particularly strong issues. Just remember as we take care of our unfinished business, Saturn is teaching us to be more patient and disciplined. Any skills we acquire during the retrograde phase will prove essential in the long-run to our success.
Saturn’s lessons for all of us during its Retro phase is to take on certain responsibilities that we have already been developing or that are more important in our lives, so extra time is needed to take stock and to make sure everything is in order before we can continue. Saturn will present us with challenges and tests to make sure we are ready to take on these extra, but necessary responsibilities. The lessons we learn and that are taught by the Teacher of the Zodiac, Saturn, are often rough but they are valuable, and we are always rewarded by Saturn for our hard work and a job well done!
The shadow side to Saturn’s Retrograde is you may become sad or depressed, and not speak up for yourself, or act overly shy. If these behaviors get out of control during this time, then you’ll be offered a chance to recognize and admit you’ve got a problem. If this goes too far you can end up needed some help, so you can come out of your depression or isolation. Make sure and talk to someone if you start to feel down or too depressed, no matter what the planets are doing, there is always someone ready to listen and care more than you believe.
This is an excellent time for schooling or training, but we may question it. There’s also going to be questions about our life, faith, and belief systems, as some folks will return to a Spiritual Path they started back in their past. We may need to tweak or edit a project that we plan on publishing or do something related to writing. Whatever you do during Saturn’s Retrograde, remember it’s a time to ride life straight and follow the rules, if you can do that you may learn a lot about life and gain some much needed and valuable insight that you can use for the long-term, and your future success.
The month of May might seem to start off a little slow but that’s due to Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto’s very strong Retrograde phases, and with Mercury still in the impulsive sign of Aries, we may feel like making decisions but can be confused about what direction to take. One thing these Retrograde planets are doing is giving us grand ideas and inspiration, but our progress has sort of came to a standstill and it can feel like you’re trying to move a brick wall at times. This is a time to wait it out if at all possible, but I’ve learned most folks refuse to go with the flow of the Cosmic energies, unfortunately, so if you must make a major decision of some kind take into consideration this is a time of delays and cutbacks, and there can be many different things that try and stop you from making progress. But this is only temporary folks, we are only in Retrograde Season for the next three and half months.
On May 1st the planets Uranus and Neptune from a somewhat tense semi-square for the last time, but you can feel this all week long. This long-term transit has been in play, off and on since August of 2017. With this aspect, we have been seeking inspiration in one way or as this connection grows stronger and forms once again, we might feel restless if our dreams are not coming together in a way we like or want, so we might need to make some sort of big change. We can easily deceive ourselves in some way or others believing we are going to get something that we just can not have at this time, as we can go on some sort of tangent and act on a whim. But only to realize after this influence breaks apart that it wasn’t going to stay together in the first place. In the weeks ahead with Mercury separating from Uranus by just one degree, our progressive ideas and inspired thoughts can start to come together.
A New Moon occurs on the 4th in the sign of Taurus, and we are more motivated to take charge of things, but we must be practical and use common sense to achieve what we want, especially if it has anything to do with making ourselves feel more safe or secure in some way. This is a good energy to think about your relationship with money and your possessions, and to learn what it is we truly value and what genuinely makes us feel more happy and content with life. We should be focusing on what it is we can do to increase our own feelings of self-worth, and how to make our lives more simple. This is also a great time to reconnect with the outside world, so with nature and our bodies, and to our senses, for example, what makes us feel good, like food, music, and sexual activity. Under this lunation, we can feel a sense of purpose and like we are on a mission, as we are ready to take on projects that bring personal pleasure. This is a manifesting New Moon under the sign of Taurus, so we should make sure to take some time to Set Intentions with the cosmos and write out our wish lists about what kind of energy and events we would like to see unfold next in our lives! Mercury makes a shift on May 6 into the sign of much more slowed-down Taurus, as it moves out of the fast-moving sign of Aries, so we can see big changes. This energy slows our thinking process and the way we communicate down a notch, as we enjoy living in the present moment and savoring all that is pleasurable and beautiful. Over the next month, our way thinking is more practical, and we now see our inspired ideas come alive and make a difference in the physical world.
Venus is in Taurus from May 15-June 8 2019.Venus while in the sign of sensual and natural Taurus, can have us feeling more content but also possessive when it comes to love. We seek and value not only what’s been tried and true in the past in our relationships, but what will last and has staying power. Our desire for anything pleasurable it super strong, including our appetite, so lots of folks will be eating up their emotions! Under this Taurus energy, we are more focused on the here and now, or the present moment, as we want to explore what makes our senses come alive! With Venus in the sign of Taurus, we tend to show our love through physical expressions, and romance is very important to us now. We can get a little overbearing with the object of our affection and hold on tightly to someone we love, but we should be careful not to smother them. The shadow side of this excessiveness is we can treat our partners like objects that we own or just want to have around. And since Venus often rules over our finances or money, as well, we do look for a business to be practical and solid, but also want to only buy what is considered to be of higher quality (often what we cannot afford.) Holding on to our possessions is more likely now.
Mars is in Cancer from May 15-July 1 2019. Mars carefully sidesteps through the sensitive, complicated waters of Cancer in May. Mars is the planet of war and strategy, it rules over our physical actions and our passions. We will pursue our goals consistently, but we avoid a direct approach and go after these things in our own way and in our own time. We are less likely to move forward towards our desires and goals with Mars in the sign of Cancer. It is very important that we meet goals and plans, but we can end up diving into our own insecurities, vulnerabilities, hidden agendas, and old emotional wounds. We can learn how to use some self-nurturing tactics along the way. It may be difficult to control our temperament because our mood swings dictate how we do things or when we do them. We’re not overly aggressive but more defensive, as keeping our security is a priority! Therefore, we can be more cautious and conservative in this energy, but we will “Fight” for or on the behalf of those that are near and dear to our hearts.
The Full Moon occurs on May 18 in the sign of Scorpio. This Full Moon can make us feel totally restless. This energy has already been making some of you feel a little nervous over the past week or so, it can make us feel like something is wrong or about to happen. As with any Full Moon, we can feel pushed and pulled on under the Sun and Moon in their tense connection in two opposing signs, and this time around it’s between the Sun in Taurus and the Moon in Scorpio. Luckily, this Full Moon is making harmonious connections to Pluto and Saturn which means we just might have exactly what we need to make some sort of change. This Full Moon energy has us digging deeply, it’s a time of transformation, strategy, love, and generosity, with no space for those who are being false. At its worst, this Scorpio energy can also cause issues with control, manipulation, jealousy, obsession, vengeance, deceit, paranoia, and we can feel overly suspicious. This Full Moon is a strong reminder that we need to think about those who are good to us and appreciate the folks who help with their love and support. We need to listen to others needs, wants, and opinions. This is a time of endings and rebirth.
Happy Gemini Season! On May 20, the Sun slips into more easier going Gemini, so our relationships may move beyond what is false or superficial, and we may just want to make a long-lasting commitment of some kind. A lot of folks tend to get engaged and married during Gemini Season for a reason. Any long-term investments you have been thinking of or planning out can be made now and that includes your relationships. This is a time when we enjoy meeting and schmoozing with others, as we can have all those wonderful brilliant conversations that are quite intellectually stimulating. This actually is a time to collect information and save it for later, you never know how valuable it might become.
A time for Healing! There are two rather nice influences for healing that come together on the 21 and 22, but can affect us weeks before these dates.
On the 21, powerful Pluto and Chiron, the wounded healer and teacher align, and this allows our creativity to flow strong, we are more clever when it comes to solving mysteries in our lives and for both ourselves and others, and when figuring out problems, particularly those issues that may have been holding us back in some way from our destined path in life, towards personal growth and development. Overall, this energy can help us see past human flaws and evolve for a higher purpose, which is about forgiveness and healing.
On the 22nd, dreamy Neptune forms a lovely trine connection with the destined North Node of the Moon, this is a beautiful time and an opportunity to get in touch with your intuition. This helps us trust ourselves to be on the right path toward our own personal improvement, growth, and enlightenment. But his is also a good time to release any negative energies that are holding us back from growing. During this time it might be easier to let go of matters that have caused us pain or frustrations. This is a wonderful few days to meet with others who support our same values, and some of them might even help us see our own potential more clearly.

During this Retrograde phase, you can see just what part of your life you’ve been overdoing it in, or where there’s been excess, greed, or extravagance. Let things unfold naturally during this time, which can be a bit of a struggle through the 21 of April with it being Aries Season, and again through the first part of June with mental Mercury in Aries, so our minds want to do nothing more than to move forward, fast and quick! Once Jupiter is direct, whatever plans or projects you have been working on will start to come together. We’ve got plenty of time to figure it out.

Our personal goals become very important, and there’s a strong urge to move forward and get things done under this new zodiac cycle. We are motivated to initiate something by taking the lead and making our own path. We notice our gut instincts more under this influence, so it’s good time to listen to them and pay attention! We are all going to be moving at a much faster pace now, and for some folks, this might be a lot faster than what they’re used to.
Spring Equinox
Spring is a season of growth and rejuvenation, and this Astrological New Year is urging you to explore new directions. During the Spring Equinox the energies can be extremely potent. This is the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the energetic turning point from one season to the next. This is when the sunshine finally starts to grow through the Summer Solstice. We get to live more outwardly again, as we crawl back out to the land of the living, and get to spend more time outdoors once again and winter slowly fades away.
During this time of year many people around the world celebrate the Spring Equinox with all kinds of interesting old traditions and festivities to honor the Goddess of Renewal or Spring. Along with the Earth’s ability to regenerate itself once again, this season is obviously very important for many different reasons. It’s a time of awakenings, beginnings, and positive energy chasing the dark of night away.
Ask for Changes
As the seasons change, a gateway opens where we experience the light and dark. This makes for a great time to think about what energies you want to draw to you. It’s a time to think about what you want to manifest in your life next. Of course we all want to be healthy and have lots of money, but this is a time when we should get more detailed when making our “Intentions” List. So it’s a great time for setting powerful intentions or making out Wish Lists, and for doing energy work of any kind.
So get comfortable and take a breathe, and ask the Universe or whatever it is you believe in to bring in what you need and choose. And get a little detailed about it what you want to happen. Ask them to put you on the path towards what will make you happy! Think about what kind of things you want to happen next. What do you need to move forward and obtain your goals? Write it all down and make it perfectly clear to the Universe what it is your asking for.
Lots of people celebrate this season with religious or spiritual celebrations. But we must not forget the history, and that all of these festivities stem from the fact, that the Spring Equinox is first and foremost a major “Astrological Event.” This event is actually more about about the Sun’s light expanding, and it’s shift into the sign of Aries, the first Zodiac sign of the Astrological Calendar. This light represents the promise of a greater more warm life-changing energy coming into our lives.
And Easter is just one of those celebrations that actually began many Moon’s ago, as Eggs and Bunnies originally were symbols of fertility and sex, and represented new life beginning. Unfortunately, like most holidays it has been commercialized and even moved to a date on the calender that doesn’t match up with its origins and the Spring Equinox.
If you’ve been struggling through the Winter months, then consider this event to be just like a calendar New Year! In fact, it’s much stronger in energy because it is a Equinox. Be inspired that this is a new cycle and a renewed energy, and remember sometimes you have to believe that something can and will change.

Chiron often called the “wounded healer” is associated with wounds that cannot completely be healed. And in life we go through many experiences we can’t entirely fix or dismiss. Once something has been done, you cannot run away from it, you can only face it and deal with it, and you can’t undo or change the past. What’s done is done, and sometimes wounds leave scars. These scars become part of us, but we can’t let them dictate what we do or feel in the future.
In Astrology, Chiron’s purpose is to help us heal with the pain we’ve endured. But our healing is a very personal thing, and our emotional wounds become a story of past trauma and pain that helps identify who we are. Chiron is also known as a teacher, mentor, a guide in Astrological terms, and its lessons help us learn how to transcend our personal pain into the collective experience. Then it is no longer just our own pain but all of humanity’s. It’s not necessarily just about the struggles we have with our self-worth, it’s the compassion we feel for all those who suffer, due to a lack of self-worth. Chiron teaches us how to get through the pain, so that all of humanity can be freed from these wounds.
The Old Way
Chiron’s run through the sign of Pisces over the last several years has been about self-discovery, and learning how to endure through times of struggle when solutions weren’t readily available. We are now being challenged to transform and find healing through others acceptance of our past experiences with Chiron in Aries, feeling validated for our feelings
may have seemed impossible to deal with before, but also to have some kind of faith that a path through the pain and darkness can still lead us to light and healing.
The New Path to Healing
Now that Chiron is in the sign of Aries its handing out lessons that are about taking new steps to deal more directly with any struggles we have had to endure. Even though we may not know what the solution is about, we tend to act fast. We are attending a new school, learning how there are plenty of other ways to change just how we respond to such pains and trauma. For starters, learning how to change the way we express ourselves about our painful experiences, and what priority we give them as well, when you think of our life as a whole.
While Chiron journeys through the sign of Aries, our focus is on how we have the ability now to take action, and stand up for ourselves with coruage and bravery! Chiron in warrior sign Aries, often brings back the past when we were scarred in some way by abuse, aggression, violence, and even war. This influence has us reconnect to our suppressed frustrations or anger, and the part of us that’s felt defeated! It’s about our power struggles in relationships, but also our physical wounds, our short-comings and flaws, and when we felt stuck or like we lost something. It’s a time to be validated for how we have felt when wounded.
With Chiron in Aries our emotional wounds are brought back up and out from the Karma we have caused ourselves, and from the times we didn’t choose to listen to our inner voice, and did nothing differently or did nothing at all! It is about lack of action. Now is the time you can face these issues and these feelings head on and change the game. Being a victim under anything to do with Aries energy is a big no no, and we will fight for what we consider to be right, and find ways to deal with our problems head on. Or we will leave our pain completely alone to move forward, which could be a problem for some folks while Chiron is in Aries. Wounds that are not dealt with have a tendency to haunt us. Instead, be the warrior and fight, don’t give up or give in to your fear of what happens when you feel exposed or vulnerable. With Chiron in Aries we must work at being more strategic and deal with our wounds, or they will only come back up later to be dealt with once again.
The New Moon this month is in the sign of Aquarius, and occurs on February 4th, 2019 which marks the beginning of a New Cycle.
This just might be the luckiest New Moon phase of the year! The Sun, Moon, and Mercury are making lovely connections to lucky Jupiter! Wow, that’s a whole lot of energy. This New Moon’s alignment with mindful Mercury and it’s sextile connection to lucky Jupiter can leave us feeling especially hopeful, and faithful, which inspires more positive thinking and idealism. This influence has us looking to the future with confidence and optimism. So our primary concern should be with the progress we can make and our freedom as well.
This is a time of friendship, brotherhood & sisterhood, group activities, social pursuits, group projects, and for trying anything that has to do with humanitarian efforts or causes, so joining up with a group of like-minded individuals can go quite well. You may just have some wondrous New Beginnings if you get involved with some sort of group. Under this potent Aquarius energy, you have the opportunity to make exciting, progressive changes in your life. For some folks, the circumstances are such that we should be paying extra close attention to these matters. This is our chance to use our innovative ideas to come up with something very workable.
The Moon will be in Aquarius for two and half days, starting Sunday, Feb 3rd (morning time in the US), and we will feel more gracious, and willing to give in certain situations. Other folks will benefit without a doubt as the Moon forms a beautiful connection to Jupiter!
FYI: Also the glorious Sun and King Saturn make a weaker but nice connection during this time, that can “cramp our style,” as this influence has a somewhat heavy effect on us, so we tend to have a more difficult time fully enjoying ourselves without feeling just a little bit guilty that we are neglecting our responsibilities in some way. Try to ignore those feelings and give and receive as much as you can all weekend through Tuesday if you can.
The effects of the New Moon on Feb 4th, 2019 can last up to four weeks after it occurs, so right up to the New Moon on March 6th, 2019. So this is the best time to set up your Intentions and make out those Wish or Manifesting Lists.

This month-long cycle keeps us hungry for knowledge and experience. We now start looking for new ways to do things, as we search for what feels original, different, and unique! We become increasingly aware of what isn’t working anymore in our lives and strive to find new ways of looking at life as our minds open to new perspectives. With the Sun now in Aquarius, you will feel more even-tempered, artistic, sociable, peaceful in your general attitude to life, humanitarian, warm and loving.
You may just start to feel more like mingling again, and not as heavy or weighed down, as our overall attitude is more peaceful. But we can get rather nerve-wracked and anxious if we start focusing on what we are lacking in our lives. Turn any worrisome energy you might experience into something you can manifest, by setting goals and making plans. Tackle one thing at a time and work on yourself, it’s much easier to think about ourselves when the Sun is in Aquarius because we more detached emotionally, and can put our feelings to the side just long enough to take care of important business.

At the exact same time as the Winter Solstice, loving Venus and dreamy Neptune are in perfect harmony together. Our hearts are open to our deepest desires, and our hopes and dreams can manifest. Venus is on a high level, affecting us with its deeper vibrational energies, this energy activates our heart centers and affects how we love one another for a little while anyway. All things Venusian open up now, so how we love each other and around our finances as well, what a Holiday Gift folks! It’s been rough with Venus in Retrograde, but she is totally back to her normal glamorous Goddess self now, so things can go right for a change in our intimate relationships and around our money!
Plans of actions are ready to be put into place and start rolling out now, as mental Mercury is conjunct or connecting to the life of the party, Jupiter. This is a time when we tend to think big, as we love having frank and open discussions, so the possibilities are thought about and discussed. The only issue is with Jupiter and Mercury both in “go big or go home,” Sagittarius, we tend to maybe say a little too much, so watch out for raw honesty, as under this energy we can get carried away!

Full Moon Ahead!
Then the Full Moon occurs on Saturday, Dec 22, in its home sign of sensitive, protective Cancer. Cancer is a nostalgic sign and very sentimental. This Full Moon is ideal as folks head home for the holidays.
During the Christmas Holiday time the Cosmos lines up and brings in some fun energy, as we feel more like being social, so throwing some sort of Holiday get together in your own home can go quite well, especially since the Moon will be in the sign that loves to be at home the most, Cancer. Traveling can go quite well this week or before the Christmas Holiday, at least better than the actual week of Christmas as there is going to be delays and other unforeseen obstacles for traveling during that time. Being flexible will be the key to success.
This Full Moon period has a slightly restrained quality, with the masculine energies of the Sun and rulemaking Saturn in Capricorn opposing the Cancer Moon’s feminine, intuitive energy. Remember the Full Moon is in the sign Cancer over the weekend, it’s the perfect time to do “Energy Work.”It’s a time for Letting Go of what is no longer working in your life or those people who no longer serve your needs. Ask yourself what you need to finish or be done with! This is an emotional Full Moon but it also is powerful!
Late in the evening Saturday or early Sunday morning, the Moon is making a strong opposition to heavy Saturn, and some folks will feel very isolated or alone, as the Holidays are not happy times for everyone. But this energy tends to magnify those feelings and make them deeper feeling! So make sure and reach out to those who seem down or sad. Luckily, these feelings won’t last for too long.
Setting Intentions during this time is strong! it’s a great time to write out a list of what you’d like to be done with, and call in what kind of energy you want to bring in your life. Christmas Eve and Day Astro Update

This starts around Christmas but peaks around December 28 through New Year’s Eve, when it will be at its strongest, it will be a good time to rekindle a relationship or a time to get together.
But there is an issue with travel during what seems to be the perfect Holiday week. It may take a bit longer than you anticipate to get to your destination. There are going to be some issues with weather in certain parts of the country and heavy precipitation. It just might be better to leave early and travel a day earlier than Christmas Eve Day. The days after Christmas are better astrologically speaking as there are no heavy astrological connections coming together.
New Years Astrological Preview
New Year’s Eve the Moon will be in sexy Scorpio, so it’s a great evening for passion and fun. And the Moon is being supported by a whole entourage of planets, like the Sun, Saturn, and even Pluto in Capricorn as well as Neptune! This is a nice energy folks. This is a very positive New Year’s Eve to make your resolutions and help them stick! All of the strong Scorpio and Capricorn energy will help us with discipline and what we need to succeed. So make up those Wish Lists and the sky’s the limit, even goals that just don’t’ seem within reach can be manifested.
But a bit of caution is also needed, as things change quite quickly when aggressive Mars moves into its home sign of fiery Aries also on New Year’s Eve. Watch out folks, if you don’t know how to handle this all or nothing kind of energy then you can have some issues. Mars sparks the energy up to have a rocking New Year’s Eve but there will also be arguments, debates, and wild events with this more aggressive energy influencing us so strongly.

Mercury has finally left its Retrograde cycle! Can I get a HOORAY!! Heavy Deep Sigh and Exhale, Haha!
Mentally strong Mercury, the planet that rules over our way of thinking, communication, and forward movement is finally turning direct December 6th after being in its Retrograde (backward) cycle since November 16, 2018, so over the coming weeks ahead, the problems we’ve been experiencing with communication, decision-making, and glitchy electronics will start to improve. Slowly, over the next few weeks will be able to make decisions once again. But be patient folks, as this energy doesn’t change overnight, it actually takes some time to get back to normal. Just be thankful that Mercury is back on the right track again because that means so will our way of thinking.
Any plans or projects you couldn’t get finished over the last few months can at least slowly get started with some potential for success. But we must start out very cautiously and take baby steps because we actually can be flooded with too much information and it can be overwhelming. This can make matters even more confusing and difficult to make sense of. Actually, it’s just good practice to wait before making any important decisions for the time being, as our thinking isn’t quite clear and there still can be major consequences for jumping ahead.
During the Mercury in Retrograde Shadow period, we should take all necessary precautions, moving ahead slowly and not committing to anything long-term just yet! Make sure to back up computers and phones, get your passwords organized (if that’s possible, ha!) Make sure your Cloud Storage is working correctly and backed up. Keep up with your bills and make sure everything is organized and paid on time. These are just a few ways to ensure you won’t have to deal with some of the glitchy aftermaths that the Shadow Period can cause.
In fact, this after “Shadow Phase” of Mercury Retrograde coupled along with all the other energies and the powerful New Moon can simply be too much energy to handle and very distracting. The clarity we seek isn’t readily available under this changeable energy. This Shadow period is about processing what we have learned during the actual Retrograde Cycle. Mercury’s Retrograde cycle might have thrown you completely off balance, but the question is what lessons did you learn? What challenges or changes did Mercury Retrograde bring up? Take advantage of this Shadow period, until Mercury goes completely back to normal around December 25th.
For example, maybe you realized your judgemental BFF or friend was just reacting to how you have been slowly, or passive-aggressively been critiquing or criticizing their lives! Oops! The second half of the Shadow Phase is when you really can start participating in a new more kind way of expressing how you feel to your friend. So take some time to explain how their actions are bugging you and why. This can be what fixes the friendship enough to keep it together.
Try to wait out making any sudden moves if at all possible, and if you’re needing to make any major changes just try to wait until after December 25th when the After-Shadow phase of Mercury’s Retrograde cycle is over. Enjoy!!
