The build-up of energy to the Full Moon in Scorpio on May 18th has begun! This Full Moon marks the beginning of a new energy cycle for all of us! On Saturday afternoon, the Sun in Taurus opposes the Moon in Scorpio and a Full Moon occurs.

The closer to Earth the Moon gets as it builds to go Full the stronger its energies are felt, as this energy intensifies we feel it on a very deep emotional level. You’re probably already feeling it! You might feel nervous, tired, or just anxious, and lots of folks don’t sleep very well when the Full Moon starts to form, which can last through the weekend. Our dreams are usually very strong and vivid during a Full Moon and wThis is an emotional time and our energy is focused more so on romance and our relationships.
Our deepest emotions are what manifests our life! If we understand it or not, due to most of it being unconscious as the Moon rules over this part of us on a deep soul level. If we are aware of it or not! Therefore, it’s important to keep our energies on a higher vibrational level this weekend. If we can sustain a somewhat higher vibration within ourselves then our life will reflect just that and we can manifest our goals, wishes, and desires much easier.
Each month the Full Moon helps us discover certain truths, so as we gain this clarity we can work on specific wishes or desires. The Moon also help us release and let go of situations, people, or energies to make room for whatever new energies we are trying to manifest. Full Moons create endings in this way, and then two weeks later during the next New or Dark Moon we can start planting seeds for something else new to begin, so we are always moving energies in and out of our lives.
During this Full Moon, the Universe is inviting you to work on something specifically! And that all depends on just where the Full Moon is going through your own personal Astrology “Birth Chart”. This tells you what part of your life you should be focusing on, but you probably are already being made of aware of what it is about by now.
Under this particular Full Moon, we have to deal with the Taurus-Scorpio energies and create some sort of balance between what’s considered to be “yours” and “ours!” The energy is focused on how we feel versus our own personal transformation. While the Taurus energy wants us to deal with matters around personal values, material things, possessions, and security. The Scorpio energy rules things like shared possessions, change, discovery, and transformation. The Sun in Taurus encourages us to feel happier by keeping things simple, while the Scorpio Moon is more complex feeling and wants us to dive deeper into the mysteries of life.
This Full Moon is pushing and pulling on us emotionally to find a balance between these two very different energies. And we tend to make some pretty strong emotional declarations during this time, so the pressure is building up within us, and now is the time when this energy has to come out and be released in one way or another! Like a boiling pot of water, something has to overflow.
My best advice is to find constructive ways to release these overwhelming feelings through some sort of self-expression. So if you can talk to a friend and vent about how you are feeling, or maybe write in a journal. Or go somewhere private and vent out loud! Yell, Scream, or Cry out those feelings and let things go and release whatever is bothering you.
Full Moons are about exposing or illuminating issues that are already there, but that has not yet been dealt with.
The Full Moon will light up any conflict you might having right now and intensity it! With the Moon all shiny and full in the night sky, it is symbolic for any illumination that occurs in our own lives. But since these feelings and our Ah-ha moments are new and emotional, they can come out suddenly! It’s the right time to express ourselves and for these feelings to just come out into the open. But proceed with caution, since we are just learning ourselves what these energies are about, so we may be quite irrational and not make a lot of sense as of yet!
This Full Moon also is occurring right around the time that Venus and Uranus align which can add surprises and revelations. This alignment also connects to deeper feeling Pluto which can cause strong need to make some sort of changes that feels necessary.

Setting Intentions under the New Moon in Aquarius for February 2019!

The New Moon will be quite energizing in the sign of Aquarius on Feb. 4th. This lunation brings in new beginnings and hopefully a fresh start to our lives. This means we should be focusing on helping heal the world by embodying positive energies for our future, with our hopes and dreams. This can push us out side of our comfort zones. This is a time of being awakened and we will see exactly what that looks like through our visions, and when we socialize and brainstorm.

This is a time when feelings need to be expressed in our friendships and partnerships, as we develop a more open mind. This is also a great time to push forward with whatever we were releasing around the Total Lunar Eclipse on Jan 21st. And this influence can help us finish up the little things that need to be sorted out, and put out of the way to make room for such the big cosmic shifts that are changing things so rapidly now.

This is an opportune time to ask the Universe for New Beginnings. The intentions that are set during a New Moon Ritual will set you on the right path towards your desires. Have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher-self, higher power, Guides, Angels, etc), and ask for the New Moon to open up the paths towards your deepest desires, or ask to be led to your manifestations.

Some of you might be asking, how does one set Intentions under the New Moon?

Well first you should set the mood, create the energy. Light some candles and burn some incense or sage, then perhaps play some calming meditative music. Get comfortable and simply write down your deepest desires, wishes and questions on a piece of paper or in a journal. Think about what would you like to manifest, create, and what energy your trying to bring into your life. If you don’t ask you will never know the answers.

As your doing a ritual or Setting your Intentions , here’s some helpful questions you can think about.

What are you choosing to have in your life?

What changes would you like to see in your life?

What are you or should you be letting go of?

How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now,?

What do you want to create around your long-term goals and in your future?

The next step is to visualize and feel what you’ve written down. Close your eyes and take several deep breaths, and imagine entering into your heart (the space you love from.) Now see yourself in the desire or dream your creating. For example, see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that amazing Soul-Mate, getting that job you’ve always wanted, or driving that new car. You can’t just THINK IT you have to make sure and FEEL IT, as if you are already really experiencing what your visualizing out in this physical world.

Allow the Universe to show you what paths to follow over the next month, and allow the New Moon show you the paths you are supposed to be going down so you can live a fuller more happy life, and obtain the goals and dreams you already have.

It’s time to start listening to your messages, I’m talking about the messages the Universe, the Cosmos or whatever you want to call it is trying to send to you. This week there’s going to be many signs from the Universe and they can show up in the most unusual, bizarre, and strange ways. But there will be some that are very clear. Many people believe that if they get a sign more than once especially if you get them twice, and definitely if you get them three times, that is not just a coincidence, it’s not something you should just ignore because it truly means something.

Good News!

We have been under an extremely intense energy, that’s also been sort of a sad really since October 3rd, with Venus the planet of love & money in Retrograde. But as of the 16th, Venus has gone direct again finally, so relationships and our finances can finally get back on track again. If you broke up with somebody during this time and you’re hoping to mend your relationships perhaps, you probably have more of a fighting chance with Venus back and moving the right way again. This Transit can possibly help you reconcile, but if that’s not always how these things work out, so if that’s what you are experiencing then the relationship was likely never meant to be or was supposed to end. So it’s been interesting but it’ll be even more interesting to see how this plays out over the coming weeks ahead because many of my clients and blog readers have had to come to terms with their relationships and make some very hard choices. Venus in Retrograde brought back a lot of old and past lovers, but most of these relationships didn’t probably work out, especially if they were brand new, but there was a reason that you needed to hang out with that person and I’m sure if you don’t already know you will understand it all soon enough!

Mercury went into its complete Retrograde cycle on the 16th! And this Mercury in Retrograde is proving to be quite interesting thus far, it’s time to double-check everything you’re doing even if you think you’ve already done so, at least through December the 6th when this cycle ends. There will be a period of time after December 6th where communications can be kind of wonky, so for two weeks after we just have to get adjusted to Mercury going back to its normal pace, while it’s in it’s after Retrograde “Shadow Period.”

With the Full Moon in Gemini approaching and Neptune in the sign of Pisces moving forward the same day, many of you will have some sort of visit from your relatives or loves ones in your dreams. It’s actually also pretty common around the Holiday Season and especially during Full Moon’s that people experience some sort of encounter with their loved ones who are passed. 

Often our loved ones come to visit us with messages, but sometimes they just come to check on us as well. And due to how much they are on our minds during the Holidays there’s much more activity when we miss them the most. So look for these visitations to happen more often as the energy of the Full Moon builds starting November 20th until it peaks on the 23rd. This also may include paranormal activity so the spirits can be a bit restless right now, as we did just get through Halloween and the Sun is still in Scorpio, hence it being still Scorpio Season, so the Veils between this world and the other side remains low right through the 25th or so!

The planet Neptune is also going direct on November 24th, so since June 18th, it’s been in Retrograde as well. What’s been hidden, unseen, or unknown is being revealed now, it’s hard to hide from our secrets. The cats out of the bag! Happy Birthday, Libra! And Happy Libra Season to all.

The Sun shifts from practical, detailed Virgo into the sign of harmony and balance, Libra.

This is our Autumnal Equinox, and we will experience equal hours of daylight as darkness.

Today is something to talk about because not only is the Sun moved into Libra, but so has the “great messenger” Mercury. So our core self and minds are in sync, besides the constant need to for balance these aspects turn our focus towards our relationships and brings in the energy of cooperation and equality.

You will feel sharp and aware of issues of injustices or unfair treatment of others, which may be a direct result of you taking a stand for yourself or others, especially if it’s around those you love. It’s easier to see all sides to most situations, so remember you can’t make everyone happy, because decision making can prove to be difficult. You might start playing the role of peacemaker under this influence, so you can be quite diplomatic when it comes to dealing with problems or business dealings.

We desire peace and harmony and create that energy both aware and unconsciously. Be careful to not seek out the approval of others too much during this cycle, as it can be difficult to know who’s telling the truth sometimes, follow your gut instincts during Libra Season as our inner awareness and psychic-self is at its strongest. You have an extra boost of intuition now with mental Mercury now in in the sign of Libra, as well, for most of October, so it’s just natural to study other folks and their behaviors and body language, which can tell you an awful lot about a person, go ahead and try it, you will see exactly what I am talking about. 

This transit can especially affect those with Libra Suns signs or Rising signs. Libra’s should feel a great big jolt of confidence and playfulness over these next four weeks, and the rest of you may be made more aware of how to balance what is required of you both emotionally and physically to achieve balance.

While under the Sun in Libra we will strive to keep some sort of balance and greater equilibrium for the next 28 days or so. Our relationships will also become of great interest and focus from September 22nd through October 23rd.

Mercury shifts into the sign of the scales, Libra, today, this aspect is from September 21 – October 9.
This will have us thinking about the patterns we follow in our relationships. but our relationships will be of the utmost importance.
Our thoughts tend to lighten up a bit when Mercury is in Libra. The positive vibes of this influence help us feel more friendly and diplomatic with others, so it’s a good time to think of ways to improve your negotiation skills. However, it is equally just as important to not be false out of fear of not keeping the peace. Under this energy, we do tend to shy away from any kind of conflict unless we are starting something. It can also be difficult when we must assert ourselves, we can be easily accommodating and take others opinions as fact, there can be a fear of looking like the bad guy and we don’t like others thinking of us negatively.
Our minds are more rational during this time so we can be fair. However, this energy can have you changing your mind quite a bit, because you can see both sides to any given situation or story now. It can be a challenge just to make a quick decision, because you may end up just sitting around pondering what you have seen or heard. However, this is a good time to take into consideration other folks points of view, as we more inclined to arrive at a fair and equal judgment or conclusions.
Even though under this Libra energy, the sign of diplomacy we prefer to create harmony without too much static, do not let that prevent you from dealing with the real issues and getting down and dirty about it if you have to. Libra energy can help us observe the world around us and study other people and their behaviors, so a good mystery can be extremely intriguing during this time.
So what does Mercury in Libra mean for you and your relationships? Oh, it means a lot! Libra is the sign of relationships, it rules over our one-on-one relationships and partnerships of all kinds. We can learn more of the truth around our relationships and what really is going on. If you’ve had any problems or tension with close friends, partners, or business partnerships this phase can help you get down to what is really causing any problems. Because you can finally figure out some of these issues, and possibly fix a broken or be done, so at least you won’t be stuck anymore. Mercury enters the sign of proud and expressive Leo today! This transit will be in this sign until September 5th, which is longer than usual due to Mercury going Retrograde, from July 25 through August 18, which is usually a challenging time. But this blog is about Mercury’s time in the sign of Leo, which affects all of us!

With Mercury in the sign of Leo our thinking is very strong, so we can feel more confident and tend to demand respect, and can get quite upset if we feel someone is talking down to us or is not listening to what we are saying. One thing we should be careful of especially once the Sun Enters Leo around July 22nd is just how aggressive, pushy, and over bearing we can get. There will be a whole lot of Leo energy swirling around and this means some folks won’t know how to handle this fiery energy, so be mindful and if you feel like your going to Roar take a break and get space!

It’s a good time to focus on your goals, and the more magnificent the goal, the better. This cycle can help you organize your thoughts to concentrate for long periods of time, which can help you meet your goals. Our minds our full of energy and our will power is strong, we are full of perseverance, and have a stronger sense of purpose.

Our minds may just naturally go to the positive, so we can be more kind, easy-going, and cheerful, even though on occasion we can be quite opinionating, stubborn, arrogant, and to forceful.

The little actions we take do really matter in this energy, but the details aren’t as important because we want to get to the point and have some fun. We are much more expressive and a little dramatic, and can do well when we get an opportunity to express ourselves, so giving speeches or telling stories can go quite well.

We also can be very charming, convincing, and persuasive because we are full of confidence and pride, especially when we speak or write. Therefore, we should be mindful to listen to people to hear them and not just to reply, because we might want to chat a lot more then usual. Also watch for gossip, it is all too easy to start talking about other folks during this time, and we can get wrapped up in what we’re talking about and end up over sharing with the wrong people.

With the planet Mercury ruling our thoughts and how we express ourselves in the sign of Leo, we may be particularly concerned with our looks and how we present ourselves, under this energy people feel more like dressing up as we are on the grand stage of life and everyone else is the audience. This doesn’t necessarily mean we will want attention from everyone however, we can be very picky and choosy about who we draw to us and be actually more closed off or even shy emotionally about our deeper truths.

It is NOT a good time to starve yourself, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t diet or eat healthier, but make sure to eat several small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar level. Depriving yourself will not go well and can make you feel rather aggressive and moody! You might just crave extra saucy, fatty food, so don’t go overboard.

After working hard we also will feel more like playing just as hard, so set time aside to allow your inner child to explore and have some fun, this is a very natural way of being under this Leo energy and if we choose to ignore it and not allow ourselves some time to relax and enjoy something we love we can become quite irritated and lonely.

Well here we are folks, yet another planet is going into Retrograde! This time it’s Mars. Unlike when Mercury goes Retrograde, and the world’s electronics tend to go wonky, we will need to pay extra attention to our “actions” because Mars rules over our passions, drive, motivation, and physical movement!
With Mars in Retrograde moving in any direction can be difficult. This is a time when we seem to struggle with getting tasks done or we leave things incomplete. Instead of moving around physically, we tend to travel more mentally. It’s a good time to redo, renovate, and repair things instead of pushing to move forward and taking on new projects!
~Mars will be in its Retrograde cycle from June 26th through August 27th!
The planet Mars moves fast so it only goes Retrograde every two years! It’s probably a good idea to think first before starting anything and when taking certain actions, because this cycle tends to lower our energy levels and can cause frustrations as obstacles come up around whatever we make an effort to get done. Most Astrologers agree that during Mars Retrograde we should be extra cautious and if at all possible avoid activities that are considered to be risky or demanding. Lots of folks end up in minor accidents or fail to judge a situation correctly during this time.
Even during this Planetary cycle, life goes on!
For 11 weeks while Mars is Retrograde, we will have to make important decisions even though it’s not the best time. So for example, if you’re unemployed, you’re going to want to accept a new job offer. During Mars Retro you probably will feel the same lack of energy or vitality in any part of your life your take on. So for this reason alone, it’s not the best time to start anything brand new, whether it’s a job, relationship, (sexual or otherwise) or even an argument. If you’ve already started something before this cycle began, it is time to slow down, cool yourself off, and reassess what you want and desire for now before taking any further action.
It’s also not a great time to enter a sexual relationship, committed or not. But most of us don’t want to be celibate, so you probably won’t be. But if you’re planning any important events make sure to pick a time when the planetary influences are working to your advantage, and for some, the Retrogrades are a better time, but let me point out that it’s rare!! But if you pay attention to the planets or have an Astrologer on hand you’ll learn how different planetary cycles affect you.
The bottom line is while Mars is Retrograde its energy is lacking, and this is the planet of Physical Energy, so this is why starting any “new” sexual relationships are seen as being an issue. It’s doubtful once this cycle is over your desire for someone new will continue, or they might feel differently and you can end up breaking off entirely or worse being “ghosted” by your new lover.
However, it’s actually a good time to figure out what you do want around the parts of our lives that Mars rules over such as what makes you feel passionate, driven, sexual, or angry! Even if you have to wait until after this cycle is over to go after it! This is a highly intense energy, which means it’s a good time to wait things out because most anything you start during this cycle will be short-lived. The Universe might grab your attention and lead you towards someone, but this doesn’t mean you should act on it immediately! Take a step back from starting anything brand-new or making any permanent plans until the end of August when Mars is back on track heading in the right direction once again.
This change in energy isn’t to reach a final destination point, it’s not something that lasts, so we shouldn’t change course or stray too far from our normal routines. This includes starting new jobs or relationships! Even though at first it may seem amazing, later on once Mars is back to normal things can happen. It’s important not to jump or to be impulsive just to be with someone new or start up something completely different. We should take into consideration all the planets that are currently in their Retrograde cycles and how this affects us and our lives.
Timing is important even if you work very hard and feel like you’re prepared to go after what you want to accomplish, but if your timing is off you may not get things done or succeed. So for most of us, it’s best to wait until after Mars goes direct on August 27, and start new things at that time.
It just might be a time that when we must work on adjusting our expectations and calmly moving through our frustrations that get in the way of what it is we really want to accomplish. Therefore, if you have activities you want to start, take a step back and re-consider them first. Take this time to pause and reflect on your life and what your next moves will be, then once Mars is back direct you’ll be ready to go!

The first Mercury Retrograde for 2018 starts on March 22nd at 4 degrees in the sign of Aries. Mercury in Aries brings in a fiery mental energy, as Aries is a Cardinal and Fire Sign. We tend to feel more impatient and impulsive during this time, and we can jump without thinking about our consequences first, which can get us into some trouble very quickly, or cause some unexpected problems, as it has become notorious for missed connections, miscommunications, malfunctioning electronics, travel snafus, fender benders, and more.

When Mercury is Retrograde our thinking is thrown off, as well as our perspective. So mistakes, misunderstandings, and problems involving communication are likely. It’s not a good time to sign contracts, make new agreements, buy something new, or begin new projects. It’s an excellent time to research, revisit, plan, and prepare for something later. Remember Mercury likes to take us back literally when it’s in Retrograde, so back to old friends and lovers, and even behaviors and lessons, to learn something we didn’t the first go around.

Since Mercury is in what’s considered to be the most impatient sign of the Zodiac, Aries! This particular Mercury in Retrograde is difficult when it comes to having any kind of patience! I can’t stress this enough. People have already been experiencing the impulsivity, frustrations, and aggression out there over the last three weeks while we have been under the “Shadow Period” as it’s called to the actual Retrograde cycle!

Please be extra careful during this cycle, and watch for other people and how they react and drive, they aren’t thinking clearly under this influence. Aries energy can be prone to accidents and injuries because of the impulsive energy so we may see some accidents occurring around the world, especially involving situations where we didn’t take care of details beforehand. To think we started off this Mercury in Retrograde cycle with an 800-Ton Walkway Bridge falling in Florida because it was built in less than 9 hours! That’s just way to fast during this time, as someone forgot an important detail.

We also need to watch our tempers!
It’s way to easy to get bent all out of shape and frustrated, and enter ego-battles or arguments during this time, without even realizing how we got there! This cycle brings out more aggressive behavior due to feeling confused, and it can serve as an outlet for folks to release their pent-up emotional baggage. Stay focused on your goals and what you want to conquer during this three-week-long period, and put your attention on something positive so you can direct that extra energy into something you need or want. It also is a time to watch your mouth! Remember, Mercury rules our minds, and Aries is ruled by the planet Mars, ya know the GOD OF WAR! We can wage little battles that can turn quickly into bigger issues if we aren’t careful about what and how we say things. Just remember that losing a battle is sometimes the only way to win the war. Keep your language short and sweet on this wonderful day.

With all of that being said, I want you to know you are not doomed to fail if you make important changes or moves during Mercury in Retrograde, but it can cause more issues that you will have to go back over and get extremely detailed about which can be time-consuming. Making changes doesn’t seem to be as successful settled for the future during a Retrograde period. And it can be more difficult to make a plan stick. During a Retrograde period, it’s just more tough to get decisions made from others and even if a decision is made, it is subject to change, either just after Mercury turns direct motion or much later.

Often I find that when we have to redo things during Mercury’s backward cycle, we also get rewarded with something that we didn’t realize we could even have, for all our hard work and frustration there seems to be a pay off more often than not! I was born during a Mercury in Retrograde phase and this happens to me often, where I have to redo something I swore I was done with and even though it is extremely frustrating the rewards I can’t deny are awesome, as long as I am patient enough.

Mercury in Retrograde periods aren’t the best times for communication or clarity, because our thoughts are scattered and we tend to forget what we are talking about, but we might think we know for sure what we are seeing or saying so we can be very convincing,  but it’s a time to question everything because things just aren’t what they appear to be during this cycle. Starting anything that involves communication like a new website, turning in important papers, or making business agreements, for example, can be a big fail. It’s a confusing time to launch anything new, even if it’s not related to communication period.

The world doesn’t choose to live by Astrology influences, unfortunately, so often you will see lots of website overhauls and new systems being put in businesses, and road construction everywhere! Even though this is a challenging time to do so, it seems to work out that folks feel like making changes under the Retrograde time, so you just have no choice but to roll with it. But perhaps the changes that are made now will have been gone over again and again due to the Retrograde cycle and that helps them get it right, who knows, but look for lots of interesting new changes this time around especially as the sign of Aries is all about initiating change and starting new beginnings. Avoid it if you can, I promise you will end up going back over it soon after and having to redo something, and maybe even again and again. The environment will be quite fluid and changeable, no matter what you are told or what you think.

But all we can do is roll with this cycle folks and be patient as possible with each other, that is the most important part of this whole cycle over the next six weeks actually, is to work hard at being PATIENT! Then you can avoid major issues or breakdowns.
