April is a busy month, so get ready folks, with Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all going into Retrograde phases this month, it’s a time for reassessment around what you are doing in your life. And with four planets in magical Pisces, the focus is more on imagination and illumination than practical matters. This period is wonderful for creativity and spiritual exploration but it’s best to wait until at least April 5th before making decisions that require focus, or a the very least some careful thought and consideration.

Since our plans and projects will be under such an intense review throughout the month of April we must make sure an align our goals with our life’s purpose. It’s also a good time to stop any activities that just are simply holding you back, or aren’t serving you. Quit wasting valuable time and energy. If you take the time to review your goals and plans this month than you’ll probably see progress in the fall when things really take off again. But for now, you have some lessons to get through and hopefully learn from.

April 2nd – Creative Confusion

Mercury just recently out of its Retrograde cycle (but still in the after Rx Shadow phase through the 16th) makes a powerful connection to Neptune the king of dreams and escape. Mercury rules our mind and how we think, communicate, and perceive information. Neptune rules over things like our imagination, spirituality, and deceptions. This influence can inspire you and others, so you may feel highly creative. This also can help you communicate your dreams to the person you adore.

But it’s also causing confusion with mental Mercury just in the after-Shadow period of Retrograde, also in Pisces, as well as Neptune. All in all, this energy can make things unclear and foggy. If something sounds too good to be true it probably is. Don’t get ripped off or scammed, deception is in the air right now. Find ways to be inspired, get creative and this fog will finally be lifting for good in a few days.

April 4th – Power Moves

Powerful Pluto makes an intense connection to the Lunar South Node point both in the sign of Capricorn. Some folks could try to make bold moves to gain power or control during this time. So there may be some pretty wild upheavals. There can be ego battles that can be destructive in one way or another. If you force issues on others without taking responsibility for your own actions it can backfire on you. This is not a good time to just go after things on a whim without seriously taking consideration your consequences. Take some time to evaluate your goals and make plans for your next move, so you can get what it is you really want, but just make sure to not bump heads along the way, or it will only cause you more problems.

April 5th – New Moon in Aries – New Beginnings

There’s a New Moon in the sign of Aries occurring and whatever you’ve been planning or working on can finally start to get moving. This energy gives us a chance to breathe new life into already existing projects. This is all about “New Beginnings” in a big bold way! As the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries is all about courage, and it gives us a huge dose of higher confidence and energy to take on our tasks, projects, and goals and make things happen! The Pluto-South Node alignment is also occurring around the same time frame, so this can help us to be more practical, even if we are more daring with new and innovative ideas. April 10 – A Reality Check

The Sun is making a tense Square formation with taskmaster Saturn. It’s important to know what responsibilities you want to take on and what you don’t, it’s a good time for some assessment of your life. as you will be challenged to rid of the things that you are doing too much of or that might be taking up to much of your time and energy. It’s no longer “go big or go home,” instead your mantra for this time should be, “go small or give in! Create balance around what you want and that is for the greater good of everyone.

April 10 – Take a Step Back

Giant Jupiter is going to be making its yearly backward trip as it enters its Retrograde cycle for nearly four months. Making progress will come to a halt as this cosmic turnaround tends to slow us down. This is a cycle of reflection into what gives your life deeper meaning, and what helps you feel more abundant. This isn’t typically a time of difficulty, but when Jupiter gets ready to turn Retrograde it can seriously slow us down as it’s an influence is more intense feeling. This actually can cause you to feel a sense of urgency and desire to find something more expansive in your life and to get rid of the things that are restricting you, holding you back, or that are keeping you from feeling happy or satisfied.
Every now and then the Universe has a way of making us take a time out to review our lives, to make sure that our plans and projects are still what we want and need. Through August 11th is a time for cutbacks on the activities that don’t help you reach your goals, and to rid of any distractions that waste your time, energy, and money! Don’t worry about the projects that slowly go to the waste side, as they were a waste of your time anyway, During this cycle whatever plans don’t make the cut will turn out to probably be a blessing in disguise. Once Jupiter is direct, whatever plans or projects you have been working on will start to come together. You got a long time to sort it all out. April 13 – Power Moves

The Sun is making a tense Square to potent Pluto! With the Sun’s transit through the sign of Aries, most of us are trying to initiate something, but we might have to deal with some powerful energies for a few days. Perhaps a person who has their own agenda or situation might ask you to change something up that throws your original plans out the window! It’s a time to be paying close attention and for being more mindful of other folks needs, besides your own. You can’t always take and take from others and expect something if you are not giving anything back in return. You can also be challenged in some way to make sure you are empowering yourself. Don’t be stubborn and don’t give everything away either. You will know when the time comes what you need to do if you pay attention to your signs and messages from the Universe during this powerful few days.

April 17 – Quick Thinking

The planet of communication Mercury will enter into bolder, enterprising Aries that brings amazing new insights and flashes of genius. This can help us take any plans or projects we might have new directions. Just make sure these directions are on a path towards your life’s purpose in some way and not a huge detour. Take this time to connect with other folks who help stimulate your thinking and who are encouraging, as this cycle can help you rid of old behaviors and habits for a better future. Also, keep in mind that Aries is known for being the God of War. It’s not a time to be debating or arguing or you can get caught up in all the negative drama and those great ideas won’t get moving forward. Instead, direct your energy towards achieving goals so you can take full advantage of this transits that will run through May 6th.

April 19 – Full Moon in Libra – Balancing the Chaos

When the Sun in Aries makes a tense but exciting connection to the Moon in Libra a Full Moon will occur. We are just coming out of the New Moon cycle at this point that started on April 5th. This Full Moon cycle is at what’s called the critical degree or anaretic degree, this means completion and marks the end of one cycle and the evolution into another. This Full Moon in Libra, the sign of balance and integration, encourages us to find ways to leave behind anything that is standing in our way of finding balance. Something might have to come to an end in order for us to find peace and harmony. This is also a time of culmination as you get a chance to take a step back and see if you are doing right by others and if you are paying attention to the folks in your life and their needs and desires. It’s all about being fair as our sense of justice is stronger than usual, put your focus on strengthening the bonds in your current relationships. Even though the Full Moon is always a time of endings, it is a time to work on releasing the energies that no longer are working for you. But this will be a social Full Moon time, so it’s a great energy to have a party under or to spend some time with a close BFF, and since Libra is about relationships maybe have a romantic dinner with the object of your affection.

April 20 – Sun enters Taurus

This Sun cycle is a time when we simply slow down, but we are also more determined, patient, and stubborn. The energy of the sign of Taurus is more practical, grounded, and stable. This is a great help with so many other cosmic connections during this time speeding things up, we can take a time out and look more closely at events unfolding around us or any complicated situations we are involved in with some common sense. This transit highlights things that are pleasing, beautiful, and attractive. This will be a month of relying on what’s always worked in the past but also moving forward with the times, it’s about integrating tradition with evolution in our lives. You will want to be more comfortable during this time as well, so set up camp for the next month to make sure you have a safe and cozy place to hang out while the Sun is in Taurus. April 20 – Blazing Love

The Goddess of love, Venus is moving into the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries, this brings fresh new energy into your love life and around your finances. This cycle brings love on rather quickly, relationships both new and old are more direct and spontaneous. Under this fiery influence, we tend to hunt each other down in matters of the heart, as we are more bold, courageous, aggressive, and impatient. Even though we can much more direct than usual with the folks we love and care for, some of you might be more reserved about your deeper emotions, and if you are feeling insecure you can get kind of aggressive or mean, especially if someone isn’t validating or expressing love back. This can cause some folks to be more sneaky and strategic when it comes to matters of the heart or anything involving money. Under the Venus in Aries influence we don’t look back to the past, it is a time to move forward. Each day is looked at as new and full of opportunities, so each moment matters more. We are not interested in anything mushy or things like apologies, we simply enjoy the chase and conquest. April 22 – Exciting Journeys

A new exciting journey begins with the Sun making a connection called a “conjunction” to more unpredictable Uranus! This can be a liberating experience as we move forward from old habits and ways of thinking, especially about ourselves. Staying positive is key to being successful under this cycle, as it may not be as stable as some would like, but good things can happen. It’s a time to put your past behind you where it belongs, and keep an open mind about other people and embrace new thoughts and ideas. Most of all stay true to yourself and honor other people’s desire to express who they are and their own unique qualities.

April 24 – Power Plays – Pluto Retrograde

Powerful Pluto challenges us on how we use and gain personal power, when Pluto goes backward or Retrograde. How do you deal with power and control? Some folks can’t simply get enough of power, and others are nervous when they have more, and then there are a few folks who refuse to take control of anything in their lives when they should. When Pluto goes Retrograde, it brings about power struggles around well, power, people rise and fall from power during this time, as there are lots of plays for power made. This is a good time to do some soul searching around your own personal relationship with power. What are your goals? What do you want to achieve in life? Do you feel like you have power over someone else and their life or is someone making the decisions for you? This can affect any part of our lives, but for the next several months we will be figuring out to how to move forward in ways that make us happy, just be careful about who’s toes you step on or how many folks you use your power over to get there! Remember Karmic balance always comes into play with these sort of things and if you abuse or just use folks to get what you want, it will eventually catch up with you in one way or another. Pluto will be in its Retrograde cycle until October 3rd.

April 29 – Saturn goes Retrograde – Taking Responsibility

Saturn the planet of rules and boundaries goes into its yearly Retrograde phase. This is a time when we must review our lives and make sure what we going after is exactly what we still want. This Retro period lasts through September 18th. During this Retro cycle, we are taken back over territory that we probably have already been through at one point. Saturn is about taking our responsibilities, rules, and boundaries more seriously. So there are going to be areas of your life that are important to go back over and review, to see what you can do to make these situations more secure. This can be a frustrating time, so we have to face possible limitations, barriers, or working on ending habits that aren’t so good for our future long-term success.

April 30 – Saturn in Retrograde gets a boost!

To further enhance Saturn in Retrogrades energies, Saturn is in a conjunction with the Lunar South Node point. You may want to think about what you are being responsible for? Are you taking other folks burdens on or taking care of other people’s obligations? Do you think you should be the one in charge and are telling everyone else what you think they should be doing? Are you taking the steps to fix things when something comes up or are you enabling bad behavior? During this cycle, it’s time to go over your responsibilities and let go of old habits, old learned behaviors, and ways of thinking around who’s in charge and why!

Pluto starts its reverse movement into Retrograde on April 22nd and runs through September 30th! Pluto Retrograde isn’t as glitchy as Mercury or Saturn in Retrograde, so you may hardly notice it unless you work with a lot of people and know their deeper emotional issues. But you will recognize it more so on a deep psychological level within yourself if you’re aware of your feelings and get in touch with your soul purpose. The planet of deep analysis normally takes us more inward, but in Retrograde it becomes a journey into hidden realms we may not have dealt with, so the feelings we’ve been holding on to or repressing can come out in the open.

Pluto Retrograde in the sign of Capricorn can be beneficial, if we are observant and pay close attention to any unconscious patterns or behaviors that motivate our actions, then we can change or break them. Pluto is all about power so authority figures or anyone who represents authority, and those anyone who has power over us may catch our attention, or we suddenly are on their radar, so we may have to be careful and follow the rules for now, especially with Saturn the “Authority Figure” or “Father” of the Zodiac also in Retrograde!

During the end of April be extra cautious for tempers and hot-heads, as Mars and Pluto make a challenging but powerful connection on April 26th. This energy will be even stronger because of Pluto coming to a standstill just days prior.

Pluto Retrograde is like Saturn, so it has a regular cycle every year that lasts for five months, as it makes an opposition to the Sun. Outer planets just affect us in a very different way then the inner planets. The effects are more subtle at first until we move past this cycle and can look back in hindsight, and then we realize just how this time might have been life-changing in some way! Perspective is always an issue when planets are Retrograde, remember, so even though Pluto in Retrograde isn’t probably causing you strange technical glitches or annoyances it still makes its presence known in a sneaky sort of stealth kind of way. When Pluto goes Retrograde it’s a good time to reflect on how we are doing with changes and our soul transformation.

Pluto Retrograde is a time of reflection on power and control in your life. If there are people who are trying to control or manipulate you then now is the perfect time to let them go! If you’ve been too controlling of others or situations then it’s time to stop it and change your behavior! This is not a time to abuse any kind of power you have over others, so avoid power trips, and make this a time for eliminating.

Themes that seem to repeat and events that are almost fated will help you reinforce which of your controlling habits, addictions, compulsions, or prejudices now must be eliminated, or Pluto will make these issues more relevant, so it feels like a giant spotlight gets shined on the problem to be analyzed and reviewed very intensely, but again you may not even be aware of it until it’s over with. What isn’t working, like poor health, an attitude that is hateful or that causes suffering may be burned away now, released and offered up to the Universe. What’s left and what is working will be more clear and enhanced into pure energy.

Relationships are going to go through a strong period of adjustment during Pluto’s Retrograde cycle. There will be more love, and sharing, and more folks standing together for their lives’ causes. It’s a good time to keep a low profile as privacy can be your strongest tool during this time. It’s a time to dissolve, so do it with dignity and respect.

In your relationships, you might have been controlling, possibly holding on too tight and smothering your partner. It’s time to stop because you need to start letting go. If you have been compulsive or obsessive about food, drugs, or sex and it’s taken over your life, then certain events may actually force you to turn it around and gain control over it. Basically, the more destructive your behavior the more extreme your cycle of detoxing and withdrawal might be during this cycle. For example, if you just stopped doing something cold turkey, Pluto Retrograde makes it a very intense process.

It’s been a busy week on the Astrological front with the Cosmos making some pretty big shifts!

There’s been a lot of chaos over this last week, and this Sunday another planet is about to make a major move. Pluto, will start moving backward just like Saturn and Jupiter and into its Retrograde cycle.

By this summer there will be 8 planets in Retrograde, and that’s a whole lot of energy moving backward, so our lives really will slow down!

This Pluto Retrograde cycle gives us a chance to look back over the past four months, to look over our past accomplishments, and our failures as well. There’s a whole lot of revising and reassessing going on, and some of you are starting to feel blocked or restricted. The planet Pluto represents things like transformation, power struggles, and evolution. Over the next few months is a good time to think about what you’d like to let go of and release from your life, your mind, and your heart. Then you can do something with what you’ve learned once Pluto and Saturn move forward again from their Retrograde cycles in September.

Is there a bad habit you can’t quit or are you stuck in a job you can’t stand? Maybe you want out of a toxic situation or relationship. Pluto Retrograde shows you what you need to release and let go of.

~Sunday will be especially intense with Saturn, Pluto, and Mars all in the sign of Capricorn. But the whole weekend may be a bit much to handle.

The best way to describe how Pluto Retrograde affects you is to understand your personal relationship with your own power, or the power that resides inside you! This is a time where you can explore your Soul and recognize what you have control over, and especially what you don’t.

The good thing is a few days ago the Sun moved into the sign of Taurus, and you’ll like this energy much better than the past several weeks. It will be a calmer and hopefully peaceful energy.

On Sunday Pluto begins its Retrograde cycle until late September. It’s a time to begin a very personal self-analysis.

On Monday Mars makes a nice connection to Jupiter which can make us feel excited and inspired to do something new.

April 24th the planet Venus will move into the sign of Gemini. The Gemini Sun folks might really enjoy this three-week cycle. While the rest of us can have a really good time.

Venus makes a challenging connection to Wounded Chiron, and our relationships can be painful, so it’s time to have a chat perhaps and begin some deeper healing this week.

Pay attention on April 25-27, when Mars makes a strong conjunction. This will be a strong time for arguments, power struggles, and even fights. Watch for others who like to cause drama and for those who tend to already be unhinged or hot-headed. It’s all about how you choose to react!

Since Pluto holds immense power and Capricorn is all about structure, these two combined energies can cause things to get a bit volatile, so be careful folks, this can be over the most ridiculous things, as we adjust to Pluto moving forward again.

However, for now, our focus shifts to the powerless areas of our lives and teaches us just how to gain control of them with this commanding Pluto-Capricorn combo. The good things in our life are going to be released to us now. It’s time to learn how to let go and disengage from what isn’t working any longer and experience the freedom that comes from gaining closure from the past!

Contrary to popular belief the planet Pluto affects our lives and even though it’s far away in the cosmos, it’s a very powerful force to be reckoned with indeed and takes us through major psychological transformations and powerful resurrections while we are here on this journey. So even though the scientist argue if Pluto is big enough to be considered a “Planet”, most Astrologers agree that its influence is significant and a powerful part of who we are!

Pluto is completely still at this time and will turn RETROGRADE TODAY all the way through September 27th. So yes folks, that’s yet another planet going into its Retrograde cycle to add to the list along with Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn. And Venus just came out of her Retro cycle a few days ago, but she is till quite testy trying to get back to normal, which is affecting relationships in a big bad way right now!

Pluto’s influence is a seriously intense complex energy, and we might feel this sort of heaviness while under this influence over the coming months. Pluto Retro cycle runs all the way through September 28th so we will go through a process of learning how we use or abuse our own personal power! It might actually be easier for some folks because they may not be as power hungry for control during this time, and will be less in touch with their own power and choose to ignore it during this cycle.

Pluto’s Retrograde cycle is a process of growth that teaches us to hold onto our personal power, but some folks will attempt to steal your power during this cycle! Remember you can’t lose your power, but it can be taken, so it’s up to you to not give it away! Hopefully, you will come to this realization during this cycle. There might be circumstances that arise that force us to fight those who attempt to take our power or lessen our self-worth in some way, but you will get stronger and can feel empowered by the time this cycle is over when Pluto moves forward once again.

Also, remember that when you release your past emotional wounds or trauma, you will raise your vibration and any old energy will die off allowing new more positive energy to flow in. This newer energy can bring about changes that are rough along with tests and challenges, but it also provides us with new opportunities for growth and harmony once the challenges are over.

It’s a really strange and unusual time as the Cosmos is slowing way way down!! There are going to be 5 planets total either starting or are in Retrograde this month. All the Aries energy has been pushing us to start new endeavors, but by the 25th of April we really should think very seriously before starting anything brand-new, when Mercury the planet that governs how we express ourselves also goes into Retrograde! This is more a time to focus on deep exploration of the soul, and to create hopefully some kind of positive transformation.

PLUTO TURNS RETROGRADE APRIL 18th through SEPTEMBER 26th, 2016

This aspect is really pretty intense compared to the other Retrogrades that are starting this month. Pluto Retro takes you into the subconscious mind and can bring you great insight. You’ll be able to explore the depths of your soul during this cycle, and hopefully uncover some truths you didn’t know exsisted. This cycle also helps uncover or bring forth other people’s true motives, including your own. We get to see people for what they truly are, not what you wished they would be.

Pluto is about endings, the death of something, or the end of a chapter, and regenerations or rebirth. During Pluto Retrograde the power of regeneration is greater than any other time. This is a period when many folks will overcome illness and challenging situations. Depending on just where Pluto is transiting in your own chart, you might experience a deep emotional and psychological or even physical healing of some kind. This energy is a purge, and you probably willp feel pushed to release what’s old or outdated.

When Pluto goes Retrograde it can feel like a complete internal deep house cleansing of your Soul. Think of this energy as more Psychological, this process can shake you down and make you feel like your breaking down, especially since you may feel like you have lost your stability in some way during this time. It’s imparitive to learn how to trust the Universe during this period, you must be in your power and stay in control and try not to lose your cool!

Because Pluto in Capricorn forms a challenging aspect to those with their Sun Sign in Aries, Cancer, Libra and of course Capricorn, these signs will be most affected. “Back to School”

The Moon remains in Cancer all day and evening long, this keeps us feeling sensitive, emotional, and intense. This particular time with the Moon in the sign of the Crab seems to have been especially exhausting for many of you, and it’s even made some folks feel quite sad, emotional and depressed! More than likely it’s potent side effects are due to so many planets going into Retrograde now or already in their Retrograde phases. So pay attention and please read and share my blogs, I will help guide you through this energy.

Here’s the cosmic stew currently brewing…Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and Pluto will all be Retrograde by late next week. This energy is slowing us down and is bringing up lots of exciting and harsh lessons both. As we get used to so many planets in Retro. over the next few weeks, we may feel confused as situations and people may not make sense. Stay Flexible!! Remain calm, don’t over think and worry. Focus instead on the blessings you already have, and be grateful. If you can remain in that space in your heart, you’ll get through the fog.

And let’s not forget about the “messenger” of the Zodiac, Mercury, who is already in the “Shadow” phase before it goes Retro. on the 28th! Yea I’m sorry for lack of better words, but Mercury in Retro always just pisses me off! Yes I said it, and I meant it! If you aren’t already experiencing electronical glitches and breakdowns, consider yourself very lucky! Mercury in Retrograde is extremely annoying for most, but I must admit it also has some good affects, like it helps bring in the truth and gives us the opportunity to get obsessively organized with just about anything in our life. So Re-think, Re-learn, Re-view, Re-visit and Research during this time, do anything starting with the word “Re” and you’re good. Plan ahead and cleanse yourself and clean out your closets now! That’s what we’re supposed to be doing during Mercury in Retro. Do Not focus on the mess right now, focus on your heart, and again the love you have for yourself and life, and if you can’t find any, then you know your first lesson in all this energy, “Learn How To Love Yourself”

There’s a whole lot of planets in Fire Signs (Aries and Sagittarius) still as well, which is just heating up this Cosmic stew. So let’s think about this energy for a moment. We’re slowed down by the Retrogrades now, but maybe feeling impulsive…and maybe a little confused. The people around us aren’t quite making sense, and we’re fired up to move and take action. It’s a little crazy to be honest out there right now. We don’t know whether we should move forward like we want to or if we should stay still!

So here’s what ya should be doing during this time…I want you to simply Breathe!! As often as you need to right now, just take a deep breath and take a moment, then just take another very long deep breathe in, close your eyes and slowly exhale. Ah there don’t you feel better already? Keep practicing this, it’s that simple. My advice today and over the next few weeks is to Breathe, everytime you feel bad, if you’re confused, scared, or feeling out of control, I want you to remember to BREATHE!

The main thing to know during a Retrograde phase, is thats it’s time to be taking each planets lessons inward and do some serious spiritual work! We can literally transform ourselves, as many of my clients through different situations are already going through it, This energy may be difficult to navigate at times but it can help you do some serious healing, which will help make your life better in one area or many. The choice is yours really, and if your suffering from high-anxiety, depression, or a loss of any kind please seek help, don’t be silent, you’re not alone!

It’s best to hold off on starting anything brand-new right now, as we are standing on very shaky ground. Try to wait at least until you feel more adapted to the energies, and if you have no choice but to do something new, that’s ok, life has to go on if we like it or not. Amazing, transformational things are happening now, visualize your hopes, dreams and wishes now, stay positive and keep climbing!

Pluto in Capricorn – Out of Retrograde

What part of your life has been difficult, challenging and for some even downright frightening over the last five months?Early Friday morning, Pluto in Capricorn, the planet of transformation, that represents our shadow-self, is finally coming to a halt today, after being in Retrograde for 5 long months, (April 16th – Sept.25th) Pluto will be in this place through October 8th, and then will be back to its normal pace.

This has been a hard one for many of us. While Pluto was in Retrograde it helped us connect to ourselves in a deep dark way. It put us through harsh lessons and forced us to deal with issues around what empowers or dis-empowers us from the inside out. We have been shown and made to deal with issues around our own personal power in some very important areas of our lives, such as with money, our health, jobs and relationships!

Hopefully, we have learned down this darker path more about our shadow-self and what we are truly deeply passionate about and obsessed over. This Pluto Retrograde phase forced us to look at our behaviors and patterns, through some hard lesson and learn what we do that hurts us and take our power away!

Ask yourself what you are allowing to steal your joy? What are you doing or not doing to take care of yourself, in one way or another? This is all about what part of our lives have been the most challenging over the last 5 months, and what’s situations made us feel like we had no control or power in. We’ve also probably either experienced what makes us feel powerful and back in control, or at the very least have an idea of what will help us to change. Over these last 5 months we’ve had to learn how to be honest with who we are and embrace all of who we are, the good, bad and ugly!

Now is the time to prove what we can do, and let go of any habits, behaviors, or fears that have held us back from fully being living our true potential. Whatever you’ve been through or learned during this Pluto Retrograde phase about your passion, inner strength or souls path…is now ready to be realized out in the world. The deep connection we made with ourselves over these last 5 months has been a learning experience, to help you be more authentic with yourself. Get back out there and work on your long-term goals, that align more so with what you truly want!

Pluto will continue to move slowly as it gets back to its normal pace through Oct. 8th. We may have to deal with some uncomfortable feelings while waiting for this energy to pick up speed again.
