The Sun shifted into the sign of transformation, and mystery, Scorpio. “Scorpio Season” begins Oct 22, 2020, and runs through Nov 21, 2020.
The mysterious Scorpio energy is known for being darker and often misunderstood. Symbolically, Scorpio energy drives us to explore the depths of the soul. As the Sun’s light exposes the truth, and all that has been hidden, repressed, secret, or ignored tends to come out. So if you’ve got any skeletons in your closet, clean it up now, or you might just get found out.
The Sun in Scorpio is a time of emotional depth, intimacy, and transformation. Therefore, whatever is fake or false is usually brought out and exposed for what it is, including conversations and betrayals. Superficial anything doesn’t work during this time, because we want the real deal. We need to know that people are genuine and authentic.
Scorpio is the detective of the Zodiac, so the Sun’s influence in Scorpio can have you feeling more suspicious and even a bit paranoid. We are more interested in getting to the bottom of things, as we want to uncover what’s hidden, suppressed, or unknown! It’s a time when we see the unseen with our uncanny Psychic abilities. So we can pick up on the energies around us very quickly. Even if we don’t trust our intuition, the signs are more evident than usual during this time. We enjoy things and people that are odd, taboo, or different in this energy, so anything plain or average is boring.
During Libra season over the last month, we worked towards being fair and equal. During Scorpio season, we accept the fact that life isn’t fair and understand that pain and suffering are part of the process of being human, and to truly evolve we must transform ourselves, which means we must end something to begin something anew.
Scorpio energy can have us feeling sexy, mysterious, and provocative. But we tend to be more secretive, as we feel more passionate, strong-willed, and often intense. This can be a time of transformation and healing.
The shadow side of Scorpio energy can have us feeling more jealous, paranoid, obsessive, and manipulative. We can become obsessed over an issue or problem, and try to figure it out repeatedly, and get nowhere as we continue to dig deeper to learn or understand someone or something. So we may not know when enough is enough or when to quit!
Mental Mercury is also in the sign of Scorpio through Oct 27, due to Mercury’s Retrograde (backward) cycle. It travels back through the sign of Libra on Oct 27 through Nov 9, and then goes back into Scorpio from Nov 10 – 30. So we will have a lot more Scorpio energy to contend with!
This Scorpio energy is about rising from the ashes after something ends. We have fallen in some way or have had to give up, like the tales of the Phoenix! It’s a time of rebirth and resurrection, as we rise to specific challenges and above what has fallen around us! Scorpio Season affects all Zodiac Signs, as this energy is something we can learn from. It’s about regeneration and claiming our lives back, as we start to rebuild after the wild and crazy year we’ve had. It’s the best energy to renew ourselves under, because Scorpio energy teaches us how to do what needs to be done, as it gives us extreme focus and stamina. We can be more driven and motivated to take care of business.
By the time we get to the end of November, and the end of Scorpio Season, hopefully, we will have some plans in place, since most of 2020 will be spent taking life day by day, and just surviving which is so exhausting.
