Mercury is in Scorpio from October 17-November 5, 2017.

Mental Mercury (the planet that rules over our thoughts & communication) shifts, as it moves into more soul-searching Scorpio.

Our communications take a drastic shift from keeping the peace while Mercury was in balancing Libra, and now into pulling out what’s hidden or repressed while in Scorpio. Just like how the #metoo movement is taking off in Hollywood now, anything that has caused trauma will be lite up by giant Jupiter, now also in Scorpio.

With Mercury in Scorpio, our thinking runs very deep and intense. The truth of the matter is very important, as we become observers and can be obsessive in our pursuits. Just don’t push things to the point of insanity and know when to back off. It can prove difficult to say enough is enough.

During this time our thoughts and the way we communicate will be more deep and intense, and usually we like to chat a lot under these influences, because we are searching for what’s hidden or repressed psychologically. While Mercury was in Libra we were more about balancing our minds, while.coming up with simple but fair solutions to our problems.

Mercury in Scorpio is more natural, but has a darker attitude, so you may feel like things aren’t fair. The truth is what’s important now, as we look underneath it all! This is a time to let yourself investigate, observe, and really focus. Our never ending search for something more deep can be exhausting, but it satisfies our minds to simply know. Whatever is fake or false in our lives just won’t due, we are looking for what is authentic, especially around communicating, so our conversations can go much deeper.

This Scorpio energy helps us stay more sharp than usual, our minds our profound and quite analytical, which leads to one-track minded and even obsessive thinking. The Full Moon each month is when we hit an emotional peak, so our emotions are running high and hot during this one folks! On October 5th, the Full Moon in Aries comes together, Aries is a fire sign that’s associated with passion, anger, and overall intensity! And the Full Moon always heightens how we are feeling! So you get the picture here? This energy has been building all week, hence the intense powerful feelings that have been running around.

This Full Moon can help reawaken those of you who have been feeling down, depressed, or lacking in energy and/or vitality. As the Sun and Moon make this fiery conjunction it can help wake us up and gets us out of our stuckness and clear any stagnant energy we’ve been experiencing. Under this Full Moon, we will need to make up our minds about something, and move towards what inspires, ignites, and re-aligns our soul.

This Full Moon is in a tense square to deeper and darker Pluto just recently out of Retrograde. So this brings out the shadow side of our existence, and our core wounds usually caused by some kind of past trauma.  Because our patience is wearing thin we are easily triggered, so small irritations can turn quickly into bigger arguments. This energy has already been and will continue to be explosive, therefore it can be difficult to control ourselves and our reactions.

If you really want to learn something from this Full Moon, and you start to get frustrated then try to understand the deeper truth to as why you are angry. Here’s a hint, anger is usually just deep-seated fear being expressed. Ask yourself what you’re really afraid of! You can feel pumped up and go to the point of extremes. Watch for manipulative behavior, abuse of power, and for people trying to control your behavior. Especially, in our relationships with mental Mercury in Libra opposing this Full Moon!

Please be advised this energy can get quite volatile, as it already has proven itself these last week! There will be misunderstandings that turn into arguments because we have such intense reactions.

This Full Moon is a tense meeting between the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Aries, this is the “self” and “others,” we need to find ways to balance out how we take care of ourselves and the other people’s needs in our life, especially in our relationships. If you are allowing others to push you around, the scales are out of balance and you’re using too much Libra energy. We must express our needs and desires to keep the peace. It’s a time to be clear and precise about how we feel, don’t allow yourself to jump to conclusions and become irrational or impulsive under this blazing Aries energy.

To work under this Full Moon you’ll need to be mindful and patient, dedicated, and skillfully planning your timing. Saturn brings a wake-up call or reality check around what is working in your life and within your relationships. It also puts focus on how we are taking care of ourselves, our bodies, and personal environment or space.

We’re still under the final tense meeting of Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries energy. This final hooray magnifies the revolutionary power of the Full Moon, we can find personal growth through travel, education, and relationships as long as we take care of our responsibilities. Get creative and discover the most amazing ways to cure your boredom without too many issues or disruptions.

And finally, the “Cosmic Lovers” Venus and Mars make a harmonious Trine to powerful Pluto! This adds some serious intensity and passion to our relationship dynamics, or to whatever brings us happiness and pleasure. This can help us feel more deeply passionate about our loved ones in general, but especially with our partners. This energy is intense but it’s a fun energy for our intimate relations, as we have a strong desire for love and affection. Take this wild, passionate time during the Full Moon and let it motivate you to work harder toward your goals and make your dreams come true.

Weekend – Astro Update
“Recovery”

Things are starting to make more sense in this energy, as they should! The energy of the “Lunar Eclipse” last week is starting to fade, and we are starting to experience moments of clarity. Even if you’re not happy with everything you’ve been through and are dealing with some issues now, you will see the benefits this energy can bring after the dust sort of settles. This weekends energy should be much more gentle with some nicer aspects. Saturday the Moon will be “Void” most of the day, so it will be a good day to kick back and relax.

In October, lucky Jupiter is in detailed Virgo, and is meeting up with transformational Pluto for the first of three meetings, this should help us to reshape our lives. Jupiter will support and even protect us again in March and then June, this helps to create changes and speeds up our situations, especially in relationships. If a foundation is weak and is unstable in our lives, it will fall…but this gives us the opportunity to rebuild with the energy of the Jupiter/Pluto aspect. This can make the general vibe more happy, and we can feel more satisfied. So focus on what problems you’re dealing with now, what power struggles are you in now?

This energy can help us with changes, it can transform situations and help is move towards a more supportive, secure energy. Jupiter isn’t going to just ignore you.
