2022 – An Awakening!
2022 will be an interesting year indeed, it’s a year of healing on an Astrological level. There are still challenges to deal with, like the Pandemic, and let’s face it, and not everything will be sunshine and rainbows. However, 2022 is a whimsical year, and some folks will finally see their dreams come true!
The other part of 2022 can bring shocks and unexpected surprises. These influences are meant to help us connect to our soul path, which gives us a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. Destiny takes a hand as this New Year shows us what we are meant to be doing in this life. Take time for deep personal self-reflection, by taking part in activities that connect you to your spirit, like meditation, creative work, journaling, exercise, energy work, and anything that helps you tap into your higher-self. It’s a year to seriously go Zen, folks!
If we break down the more important planetary connections of 2022, we must look back to our past to learn and heal and then move forward into the future.
2020 was ruled by the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in the sign of sturdy Capricorn. 2021 was a time when the energies constantly pushed and pulled on us under the long-term Saturn/Uranus Square connection. These influences have been strong and challenging, and extremely difficult to handle at times, and we all know how both years turned out!
So finally, some good news! 2022 is not like the last few years, not at all! Even with the Saturn/Uranus Square still running in the backdrop, the worst of its influence is officially over! The other two major aspects in 2022 are actually very positive: Jupiter Conjunct Neptune in Pisces, and the North Node (destiny points of the Moon) Conjuncting Uranus in the sign of Taurus.
Jupiter Conjunct Neptune is an absolutely beautiful aspect. Jupiter is the great benefic planet of our Zodiac, and when it’s in spiritual Pisces, it’s a stronger positive influence in our lives. Neptune (Pisces ruling planet) is also considered to be spiritual, and it’s at home in the sign of Pisces. This influence can make real dreams come true! All of this may sound a little cliche, but Jupiter is the planet of luck, hope, and abundance, and Neptune is the planet of higher spirituality and dreams. So 2022 will have a theme of healing on a deep spiritual level, so there will be more positive Cosmic energies going around spreading joy and abundance all around.
Since Neptune is involved, I have to mention that escapism can be an issue, so If anything, you might feel like escaping your current reality more than ever in 2022! This energy can lead to spiritual retreat and denial, and there can be issues with drug abuse and alcoholism, so anything that helps us escape can be done in excess, leading to scarier problems. Just remember throughout 2022 it’s ok to have somw fun, but we have to deal with reality from time to time as well, especially during the Pandemic. This influence is meant to teach us to go within ourselves and find spiritual truth and healing, as this AWAKENING can help us believe in how truly magical our lives can be!
Uranus Conjunct the North Node is the other important aspect of 2022. The North Node is an Astrological point of the Moon, and it rules over our destiny and soul’s journey, along with the South Node. Uranus is the planet that brings random flashes of genius and insight, as it passes info from a higher source and our higher self. It is the planet of freedom and independence! So we can be liberated through our spiritual practices. Make sure to do so with an open mind, or you might not hear or understand the messages the Universe is trying to convey. You really don’t want to miss these messages.
The Uranus/North Node influence will abruptly awaken us, often with random A-ha moments and epiphanies. This serendipitous energy is about our true soul purpose and what we are meant to be doing with our lives. Often this lesson is about turning our pain into purpose. Therefore, this energy is not for the faint of heart. If you’ve been living in an illusion created by you or someone else, this influence can be disturbing because it’s meant to wake you out of your slumber, so there can be random events that are surprising or even shocking to jolt you out of the illusion.
However, if you’re confident about your purpose in this life and have struggled with getting on the right path towards your goals, this influence might get you on track. 2022 is a year to chase dreams as the Universe supports those who are headed in the right direction, and there shouldn’t be as many roadblocks along the way.
We can feel pulled in two different directions under these two very different Cosmic influences, and our lives can be turned upside down at times by rather surprising events. There can be unexpected changes and opportunities. And we may have to move fast to grab the good stuff, so pay attention, or you can be caught off guard and miss something important. Don’t hesitate if an offer suddenly pops up. If you’re already a planner, get ready to make changes to adapt to your situation. Follow your gut instincts and let your intuition guide you.

- The Lunar Nodes shift – as the North Node in Taurus and the South Node in Scorpio – move into Taurus and Scorpio on January 18, 2020, and stay there until July 17, 2022.
- North Node conjunct Uranus – May – September 2022, exact on July 26, 2022
- Saturn square Uranus – while it’s not an exact conjunction, Saturn and Uranus are in a tight connection, especially from August to November.

The New Moon in Pisces on March 2, 2022, is a special time as both Pisces rulers, Neptune and Jupiter, meet up. At the same time, Mars, Venus, and Pluto align in Capricorn and connect to this New Moon. Then Mercury and Saturn align in Aquarius, again connecting to the New Moon! So all the planets, practically except for Uranus, are involved in a Conjunction. It’s quite rare and will bring a lot of energy that helps us move forward. New Moons always bring New Beginnings, and these influences will boost these energies and can have a powerful effect on all of our lives.
