“Astro Weekend Update” End of August

For All Zodiac Signs:

Currently, there are five planets in the sign of Virgo, and surprising Uranus is in Taurus, and powerful Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn. So most of our ruling planets in our solar system are in Earth Signs. That’s a whole lot of one element. The Earth signs seem to help keep the energies more grounded, which is what we need desperately! Since we were under so much Leo season for a whole lot of the summer, and things got kind of crazy. So if you are an Earth Sun or Rising Sign, so Taurus, Capricorn, or Virgo this can be an especially good weekend for you.

As we move into September time the energies will be strongly focused on what’s called a T-Square, this tense energy will affect all of us for the next few weeks, but especially Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, and Virgo. The truth will be told and skeletons will come tumbling out out of the closet, so secrets and dirty little lies are revealed! There will be lots of chit chat, gossip, and rumors going around. We get to see the truth more clearly or what’s been hidden or even repressed. So if you are hiding something, it might be very difficult to keep it under wraps during this time. Secrets are hard to keep for now! And if you feel like someone is hiding something from you, pay extra close attention because those gut instincts are telling you that you probably are right. The truth will come out over the next several weeks. If you think you’ve got control of a situation or a person, and you are just manipulating them, you’d better think twice! The joke could be on you. They might already know what’s up as things are just more transparent during this time, and they could be leading you into believing they are clueless only to trip you up later.

Some of you may experience high anxiety this next week, but it will pass! Try to do something to offset your nerves during this time. Perhaps through meditation, journal-writing, or exercise. Time to Zen it out folks! 

Now for some better news. This weekend is especially good for working on health issues that are bothering you, so if you want to change your diet or create a new healthy lifestyle regimen, then this is the time to do so. Over the next few days, there are some more positive energies to make long-term plans for business, vacations, and around real estate. As anything related to them can run more smoothly if you make the plans now, and why not be prepared when the energies are supporting you now, versus later on when it’s not the same. Remember Mercury goes into Retrograde again during October time.

If you have been thinking about heading in a new direction in your life, these planets are lining up perfectly to support you. And most of my clients are making major moves not only with their careers but also relationships, as many of them are shifting. So the majority seem to be affected at work in one way or another. But it’s a very positive time to do something different with your work as new paths are being made. Also if you’ve been feeling like you’re in a rut or stuck, this energy can help give you new ideas to get you out of it! Do some brainstorming and ask the Universe for help!

The New Moon in Virgo energy will last all weekend long. So if you haven’t had a chance to Set Intentions yet, you can still do so over the weekend. Simply make out a wish list of what you want and then read it over. Make sure to close your eyes when you’re done and really feel it. Over the next few weeks hopefully, by the time the Full Moon also in Virgo (imagine that lol), you can start to see some of your affirmations come true. A Look Ahead The Sun Conjuncts Mars on September 2, this helps us use some of these new energies to get things done. Make sure to burn up some of the energy this influence puts out by maybe exercising or doing something physically active. Otherwise, this can cause us to lose sleep, and worry as anxiety levels can go high, and some folks will experience accidents and frustrations that can lead to erupting in anger. Now that you understand we have this strong build-up in energy coming, you can plan on offsetting it somehow by releasing it before it even comes in. Take advantage of this energy and get things accomplished, as you can be quite successful with any projects you choose to pour your energy into, channel your energy and stay focused, and move in more positive directions.

If we think back to what might have been happening on June of 2016, or July of 2017, that might clue you in on how this transit affects you. Take this next week under all this Virgo energy and make something happen, the overall energies will be much better next week for most of you.

“Setting Intentions with the New Moon” By Rubys Readings

There’s a New Moon comes together early on Wednesday morning, which makes this the best time to set some powerful intentions around your future goals with the Universe and work a little Magic!

“A New Moon occurs Wednesday morning so starting Tuesday night through very early Wednesday morning is the Best Time to Set Intentions or Make Out Wish-Lists!”

*The New Moon comes exact on September 20, 2017, this New Moon is when the Sun and the Moon meet both in the Sign of  Virgo and are conjunct”

*We have all the way through very early Wednesday morning to SET INTENTIONS!*

During a New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting seeds of intention from our heart and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to be grateful for what we have and work on manifesting what energy we want to come in next. What I mean by that is we can create whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, love…it doesn’t really matter, but we have to do some things to make it really happen. And no not everything you want is going to just magically appear. But at least by “Setting Intentions” with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to begin heading down and that’s a start. Then the energies will begin to line up to get you there.

The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of beginnings when you can recharge goals or set new ones. During the New Moon, we often experience an “energy shift.”

Here are some ideas on what to Manifest under a New Moon:

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

2. Share your intention with someone in a supportive way, and who will be encouraging.

3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.

4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would, and then take the next step.

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source, Guides, Angels, etc), and ask the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to be patient and simply allow the time needed, things don’t always happen right away, but we can get taken down certain paths to find our way to what it is we’re looking for… and sometimes magic just happens.

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the New Moon?

Follow the Steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your sacred space

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do New Moon work in. You’ll simply be calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some sage or Incense and clear the energies. close your eyes and breathe deeply … and call upon your guides, Angels, or higher power in and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill it up with the energy of love and light. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it.

Step Two: Set the atmosphere

Set the mood for your “New Moon” Ritual and again burn some special incense, light some candles (and colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be very different for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever colors or tools that make you feel calm, centered, happy, and peaceful.

Step Three: Setting Intentions

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Think about where you’re going to do all this work at because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot.

Now write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life and be detailed.

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about … for example; ask what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now, and what do you want to create? Think about your long-term goals and future and what you’d like that to look like over the next month. Be careful about focusing on the how, why, and when of your goals, focus more on what it is you’re wanting and how you want to feel. Let the Universe take care of the rest.

Step Four: Visualize

It’s time to visualize what you’ve written. Close your eyes and take long deep breaths, so in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest (not your pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that Soul-Mate, driving that new car. Just don’t think it, make sure and FEEL IT as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing.

Allow the Universe to show you which paths to follow over the next 30 days, and then allow the New Moon to light up those paths that you are supposed to be going down, so you may bring in what you truly desire, and let go of what you don’t want, it’s not serving your higher good and it’s blocking you from your desires.

September’s “Cazimi”  New Moon

There is a strong potential for an opportunity to show up during this particular New Moon for all of us. There’s a whole lot of Virgo energy coming together and we can use this to our advantage. These Virgo influences can be like the ultimate Fix-It energy, so there’s a strong possibility a solution to a long-term problem can show up.

As of now, there are four planets in the sign of the Goddess, Virgo, and tomorrow five. So it will be difficult to ignore. We desire more than usual to keep drama away and work on making things calmer. The less chaos the better. Focusing on our health is very important now, as well as our mental and spiritual well-being. This fix-it energy is here and eager to help us take care of ourselves so we can tend to our business and work.

The best part of this rather rare Astrological line-up is that with so much Virgo energy in play we can discover better solutions and ways to regain order, which is something we all need right now. The really interesting thing about this New Moon is that it’s what’s called a “Cazimi” in Astrology, it means this New Moon has an auspicious touch and can be very lucky! It helps us find simple and practical ways to fix things in our lives. Just don’t look to be surprised or shocked as Virgo energy is about finding practical solutions.

This is a rare event having so many planets in the sign of Virgo at one time, and everyone has Virgo in their own personal “Astrology Birth Chart” somewhere, so we need to learn and embrace all of Virgo’s traits during this time, which starts now.

This is a great time to focus on cleaning out your closets on every level, so mentally, emotionally, and physically! So take this opportune moment to get rid of anything that has become toxic in your life. Under all the Virgo energy things should be kept clean as beauty of purity is rewarded. Clean space cleanses our souls and minds, so our space needs to be tidy and neat. And since we are in the middle of this cleaning process our emotions will start to come to the surface, because cleaning out our lives isn’t easy on us.

“Wounded Healer” Chiron will be stirring up some emotional challenges during this New Moon as well. It’s getting ready to make a tense Square to strict Saturn, which can bring up your fears and insecurities to the surface. This energy will definitely be stirring things up by early November. We can learn something important about our past and the scars that are still with us, these emotional wounds will come out to heal and help us restore some sort of balance in our lives.

This New Moon can be an eye-opening experience so we can work on doing away with any denial or unrealistic expectations that have been clouding up our vision. Virgo energy is all about keeping things clean and tidy, and since we are in this process, just remember the sense of accomplishment you feel after a major cleaning project, it’s a wonderful freeing feeling! That’s what you can expect to feel if you do the work.

After everything we’ve been through and all the chaos over the last several months, this New Moon is coming in right on time. It’s like the ultimate “Cleaner”, that helps us make new goals and implement new plans. No other sign is more detailed than Virgo, so this energy you catch flaws and imperfections to help us see what’s not working in our lives. So take advantage of this time and clean up any chaos in your life, and find those fixes and regain balance.

There’s a great opportunity during the New Moon to embrace some new daily ritual or practice routines around self-care. Getting through all this Virgo energy can be a painful process, but it’s an excellent healer. The knowledge it brings can create the perfect equilibrium between our body, mind, and spirit. So we can create some sort of balance.

There’s always a shadow side to any Zodiac sign, and under so much Virgo energy peaking at the same time, we might become a little too obsessive or fanatical about taking proper care of our bodies and go overboard. Plus, we can be extremely critical about our flaws and shortcomings while we’re in this clearing process. Use this time to clean your life up so you can experience that feeling that comes after an have some sense of accomplishment.

Shortly after this New Moon, there will be some big Astrological events coming to a close that we should consider. We need all this grounding Virgo energy to keep our feet on the ground when making important decisions. It’s been a slow year full of internal struggles with so many planets moving backward. Thankfully by the end of September most of the planets in the cosmos will be headed or already be moving forward once again. This helps make life just a little bit easier, without all the misunderstandings, glitches, blocks and restrictions upon us so strong. Finally, we are at a point where things should go much more smoothly.

The energies are shifting once again as we head into the final phase of 2017. Jupiter will change signs into Scorpio in October, and Saturn will also shift in December into Capricorn. A new plan and fixing what’s been broken down will help us embrace these new energies coming in.

The September New Moon delivers the fix-it energy we so desperately need to clean up our lives from all the Retrograde chaos we’ve been in. Use this to your advantage and embrace the last quarter of the year 2017. We’re more than ready to move forward now and this New Moon reminds us to take care of ourselves through this cleaning process so we can get things done.

​New Moon Coming; Attention Healers of all kinds!

This New Moon will occur on Sept 20th, and this can be a strong dose of realism for some folks. Those of you who take care of others for a living or are in the field of healing in some way need to pay attention. So caregivers of any kind, and those of you who aren’t taking care of yourselves, this could be a wake-up call for you to start helping yourself first or you can’t help anyone else. 

This New Moon is in practical, detailed Virgo, and this is not an easy placement for the Moon. This energy can make some folks feel sick or not well, because of so many planets being in Virgo actually. If you’re already prone to illness and feel worn down, it’s your body trying to tell you it’s time to work on something. Virgo helps us pinpoint what we need to do to take care of ourselves. 
And those of you who take care of others for a living, don’t forget how important it is to also take care of yourself first during this time. So anyone who sacrifices’s their own well-being to help others, like nurses, doctors, healers and empaths and family caregivers also. If you are burning yourself out you will see the effects of it soon. Time to get real with yourself and do something about it. 
But let’s look at the positive side of the NEW MOON energy. As always with New Moon’s there is an opportunity now to create a new start of some kind, and especially in regards to your health in some way! 
There maybe something you have needed to do to improve your health and this New Moon can actually help you figure it out now. This energy promotes good health and healing in the long run, and it can help you manifest and benefit from it. The 20th is a good date to start a new exercise program, diet, or make some sort of healthy lifestyle change in one way or another. 
Plus, Virgo energy for all of us is about our work, so many of you will start a new project or even a new job soon. I wonder just how many of you are considering a new job position at this time, or are sending out resumes and attending interviews? Many of you will also be thinking about starting some kind of new home project of something involving work. This New Moon and all the Virgo energies going on can help you tremendously at this time with your career goals.
