On 21st of June Neptune turns Retrograde. Discover your inner-muse?
This fog rolls in and casts a veil over our normal practical lives. This influence causes us to temporarily lose our inspiration because we are re-working our dreams and wishes in regards to what’s happening emotionally within ourselves. This Retrograde cycle itself lasts until Nov 27th, which means this will be a period of confusion and indecisiveness. You may feel stuck or like you are in limbo, but it is a great time to work on discovering your inner-self.
This is an excellent time to strengthen your spiritual game folks, start a journal and record your dreams as well, make a vision board, and tune into what people are not saying rather than their words. Your intuition and psychic hunches are strong as this mystical planet changes direction. However, your logical mind is taking a vacay for the next 5 months! So trying to figure out where other folks are coming from, or finding information can be difficult, (especially while Mercury is in Retrograde as well!)
During this cycle you will be required to pay extra careful attention to the details as they will be elusive. And since we can be vulnerable now, and way more into the fantasies that play in our heads, assume if something sounds too good to be true, that it probably is! Don’t be a victim during this time which is the Shadow side of Neptune, we can be suckers and get taken if we don’t pay attention! It’s also all about the escape during this Neptune’s Retro period, it might be all to easy to leave your responsibilities behind and not deal with the reality of what is happening in the here and now on planet Earth!
This influence can get some of you into trouble if you choose to delve into things like alcohol, or drugs just to escape. It’s important to have a support system if you feel weak. So make sure and talk about how you are feeling to someone, during this time, let those pent up emotions out and be motivated by the fact that Neptune’s Retrograde cycle can indeed be a time to heal the spirit. The Moon remains in more earthy Capricorn all day long. This is a strong time for making a realistic dream come true. The Moon is still somewhat Full, causing some emotional waves here and there. Just don’t get worked up too much over nothing.
Future Goals Have you been working hard at changing something big in your life, or do you feel pulled on to make a major change?
A long-term strong influence between the Lord of Karma, Saturn and dreamy Neptune has been running strong since January, but peaks out this week and again in November of 19, and runs its course throughout 2019. This helps us bring some kind of structured dream or goals, and our faith together. This is sconce meets beliefs it’s been interesting. It’s quite a supportive energy, but also intense feeling as it pushes us to reach goals and go after our dreams. It has been rough for some of you, as this influence makes it crystal clear what we can do, and should do in regards to our future plans and goals. So some things have fallen away in our lives this year, or we have been made aware of something that isn’t going to work out anymore. If we like it or not, understand it or not! This has helped breathe new life into our visions, as long as we are making a real effort towards realizing a dream.
This energy has primarily been affecting our plans, that we’ve been building on already, be it about a job or relationship. It’s can be about anything. So it’s been smoothing our rough edges when it comes to business plans and goals. It’s also giving us a sense of purpose or a mission in life again, which puts us on a path towards our soul journey in this life. If you connect it your spiritual self and do a little bit of work and make some effort you’ll be rewarded. This gives us a reason to be dedicated and committed towards our own unique spiritual path, while still building something real right here and now. So we might just end up showing our devotion to whatever it is we believe in through our hard work and service.
Two Steps Ahead Mental Mercury aligns with driven Mars in the sign of Cancer today. Since we want to get things done our communication skills are on point! There are two different sides to this aspect’s influence, which fuses the intellectual powers of Mercury with the assertiveness of Mars. We can feel motivated, driven, and passionate about communicating or doing anything mentally. It can be an amazing time for sports or energy work, as this energy helps sync our minds with our bodies. Powerful Pluto hooks into this energy as well today, turning our attention towards fixing or solving a problem, just don’t get obsessed. Our family and home life take center stage, as our security is extremely important during this time. We can come off as insensitive when expressing our feelings because we are all “in your face” and to the point. By being allowed to vent or talk about our problems out loud can be liberating, and it also helps rid of any excess mental energy in a healthy way.
Powerful Emotions However, this influence also creates tension, as we can be overly excited about our ideas and opinions, and we aren’t in the mood to listen to others input! If we can try to make this a lesson and learn from any jealousy felt, this can help us understand more so what it is we really want and truly desire.

Starting early Saturday morning the Moon shifts into more optimistic, sunny Sagittarius, and will grow until it becomes FULL early in the morning on Monday, June 17th at 3:31 AM CST, 4:31 AM EDT, 2:31 AM MDT, and 1:31 AM PST!
A Full Moon is when the Sun in Gemini (this month) is directly the opposite of the Moon in Sagittarius (this month), and this is a rather naturally impulsive kind of energy, that can have us feeling scattered and all over the place, so things can be quite unpredictable!
This is such an awesome time as we get the whole weekend to celebrate this glorious Full Moon energy, and hopefully, you will do some energy work, and SET INTENTIONS or make out WISH LISTS that are more so about letting go of what is no longer working or serving you in life. This is strong and potent energy to celebrate and enjoy with this Full Moon being in “the life of the party,” sign of Sagittarius. This Full Moon forms under the mutable, changeable sign of Sagittarius, alongside expansive Jupiter, so we must expect some sort of changes to naturally occur, as this is a time to seek out new activities and explore different areas of life, and hopefully, we find something that provides fulfillment.
When the Moon is traveling through the sign of Sagittarius, you might feel like the “grass is greener” on the other side of whatever it is you are giving attention too! You may feel like “jumping ship” from your regular routines or doing something different like learning a new language. The lessons of Sagittarius energy no matter your “Sun Sign” is to be more hopeful, optimistic, and adventurous. This energy helps all of us learn how to “live life out loud” and to believe in the possibilities. We can feel more free-spirited and express ourselves more openly under the Moon in Sagittarius. And this energy is definitely one where we “tell it like it is!”
We are more motivated to seek out the truth in this energy and go after a new vision, as we go on new adventures even if it’s just ones playing in our minds, which in turn can help us feel more calm and content. The details aren’t as important as seeing “the whole picture” is now.
Spontaneity is key to enjoying this energy because planning ahead limits the adventure that we want to have and that’s just boring! We generally prefer to go with the wind and just “Wing It” in the Sagittarian energy.
Since the Moon reflects and is attuned to our deeper emotions, we may also be quite sensitive to being judged or criticized for our behavior, so we may shy away from others and hide, so that can’t see who we truly are. But with both Jupiter and the Moon being in more open-minded Sagittarius, it may prove challenging to hide anything under this Full Moon, as all around this is a strong time for Truth! This adds more spark to an already strong emotional firey energy! Any feelings that get stirred up during this time, are going to be so strong that we may feel like a pot of boiling water and have to express ourselves no matter the consequences.
We’re more likely to overdo things and express ourselves a little too much during this time. Sagittarius energy is about the process of self-discovery and finding something new and exciting. So we tend to not think first and can say “out loud” exactly what we are thinking and sometimes end up “putting our foot in our mouth!”
The following activities are generally favored during the Moon in Sagittarius; adventures, unplanned activities, travel, higher education and learning, publishing projects, advertising, sports, and physical activity!
There also is a current T-Square energy with a Jupiter-Neptune Square coming together during this Full Moon. So even if we don’t understand the motivations of others, we need to make it a point to connect to our hearts and show empathy when faced with the truth. Dealing with obstacles and setbacks can cause frustrations, which can lead us into negative thinking like the Universe is beating us up! Instead, view them as lessons in true Sagittarius fashion and be more optimistic about your experiences instead, see them as character building to help us to become masters!
Full Moon Madness is upon us folks!
Pay attention as June’s Full Moon comes together Monday morning, so this weekend can be full of some weird but strong energies and experiences. Make sure to remember the Full Moon causes a physical reaction that usually provokes an emotional response that can affect all of us! It just depends on how we learn to handle the energy or don’t. There’s always going to be the ones who don’t handle it well and may act out and get wild under this Full Moon energy, so expect for some people to just act out of character. Otherwise, enjoy this time and celebrate this glorious illumination.
March is always quite an important month as it’s a huge turning point and brings new fresh energy into our lives. There’s a lot of changes going down this month so we can feel these potent energies strongly. Many of you will continue to move forward and see progress in March, but we must be mindful that we are under Mercury in Retrogrades thumb for the rest of the month. Which makes it a good time to clear out old energies and get organized, so once March is over and we’re in Aries Season, then we can start new projects and follow our dreams with gusto once again. For now, this is a month to prepare and plan.
1st – 4th – Venus Square Uranus
When Venus makes a tense connection to shocking Uranus, our love relationships stability can be challenged with unexpected desires, urges, or events. But sometimes a challenge is what breathes new life into a relationship. We are going to start to feel this probably around Feb 27th and it can go on through the 4th. There’s an increased need for freedom and excitement, as this influence can test your patience when it comes to a loved one, or it can lead to wandering eyes or outright cheating! If you have been feeling confined, smothered, or just bored then you could end up lashing out in anger, or display some sort of destructive behavior. If you’re in a healthy relationship you shouldn’t have any major drama or problems, especially with an open-minded partner.
There’s a stronger need to experiment in the bedroom or maybe even on the kitchen table lol, as this influence pumps up our sexual activity, or satisfies a deeper need to increase our stimulation. The more demanding or conservative your partner is the more likely they are to stir up trouble, and you could end up cheating or having an affair! And if you try and resist these urges for change and excitement, and keep your feelings hidden or bottled up under this spontaneous energy, then it is likely your partner or friend, whatever the case may be, will express this energy through some sort of unexpected or sudden action.
Luckily, we aren’t as daring as one might think so we can enjoy entertainment, amusement, and novelties. If you are single you may be attracted to exciting or eccentric people, and maybe those who are more willing to take risks, or who are from a different cultural or ethnic backgrounds. A new romance or a love affair is very possible now, but be careful as these are likely to be brief relationships unless something in your personal Astro Birth Chart indicates otherwise. Let’s also talk about retail therapy, we can end up buying on impulse as shopping can be taken to a whole new level, so watch for spending way too much and for making unnecessary purchases.
5th – Mercury goes Retrograde
Mercury goes into its first Retrograde of 2019, occurring in the sign of Pisces from March 5 – 28, and at 29 degrees, which is the anaretic degree or point of crisis (which tends to be harsher feeling.) This Mercury in Retrograde cycle seems to resurrect old situations or problems that we thought we were done and over with, only for us to have to deal with all over again. This is a time when we need a lot of rest, and to really focus on being kind to one another. Some folks might be quite mean or cruel, but don’t allow yourself to go there, instead focus on compassion. This is a time to make sure and set some healthy boundaries, as we are more susceptible and vulnerable to manipulation and deception, especially during the last part of Mercury in Retrograde in the end of March when Mercury is conjunct Neptune, Pisces ruling planet. This causes our thoughts to be foggy and can make things even more confusing, and it being Retrograde time it will be even stronger than usual.
6th – New Moon
There will be a healing New Moon on March 6th, in the sign of Pisces, and this influence actually helps us focus on the magic of life and be a little more clear about how to start anything new. But it also brings about emotional uncertainty, as this magical New Moon bestows us with deep magical vibes and helps restore our imagination. During this New Moon take some time to create a sacred space that you can play and zen out in, and perhaps reach some sort of spiritual enchantment that syncs your physical reality and fantasies. Breathe and relax and feel out things, and look for the deeper meaning of it all. This is a time for creators, manifestos, intuitive, sensitives, and healers. New Moons are a time to regenerate, but this is also particularly charming energy due to it being in such close connection to spiritual Neptune, the planet of dreams, mysticism, and inspiration. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by to connect to the possibilities available to you. The veils are very thin still, therefore, it’s easier to discover the magic and use it in your everyday life. Our confidence and energy levels are quite high now so we are being enlightened with wisdom, so we should use it to our advantage.
6th – Uranus moves into Taurus
On March 6th, 2019, Uranus moves out of Aries, and into the sign of Taurus.
Uranus is the most exciting planet in the Cosmos, it brings about major energy shifts, and the winds of change are blowing this month when it changes signs into the bull, Taurus, where it will stay for nearly a decade! So there will be a lot of movement happening as we get adjusted to this shift. It encourages us to break down old worn out patterns and outdated structures so we can explore the potential of what could be.
We’re in hot energy right now with Uranus in the anaretic degree of Aries which is called the crisis point. It’s a time to tie up loose ends, as we can feel like starting and finishing things quickly while we have the chance. With Uranus in Taurus and with Uranus in Taurus, we can focus on a whole new shift, a whole new phase, a whole new decade of life.
Uranus moves very slowly around the Zodiac wheel and spends approximately seven and a half years in each sign. If you pay attention to the effects of Uranus as it goes through each sign, you will see just how unique each of these energies affects the political structures now crumbling to the ground. While Uranus was in the sign of Aries all these years, millions of us started to assert our political beliefs and develop commitments to fighting for the people and causes that are important to us.
The sign of Taurus rules over money, food, agriculture, and resources. With the planet Uranus in this nurturing sign, we can expect to see major changes in these areas of our lives on both a global and personal level.
This also will affect how we make, spend, and save money. And with all the sneaky nasty agricultural practices going on nowadays, we might start to see some justice finally. As these topics are going to be under a microscope for review for the next seven years. Uranus is going to shake things up and create necessary changes that we all need to continue to survive on this planet. Hopefully, we will see these changes help us all to be healthier for future generations to live on the planet.
20th – Spring Equinox
On March 20th, also the day of the Vernal Equinox marks the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This is when the ice and snow finally melt and the ground starts to thaw and Sun shines a little brighter every day. It’s a promise of warmth and abundance to come. With the Sun in Aries on this day, it’s influence sparks the energy we need to get pumped up into high gear and prepare for the excitement that is to come.
20th – Full Moon in Libra
Also on March 20th the Full Moon in Libra occurs. Under the Full Moon we often find ourselves trying to balance ourselves out emotionally. This time the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries oppose each other. So this starts an internal struggle within each of us to equal things out, between how both these energies affect us.
Libra being the sign of partnership is about everyone else’s needs, while Aries is more focused on self and our personal needs. This Full Moon is making a close connection to the “wounded healer” Chiron. This brings up old grievances just enough, that we can feel left out or put second, or we might feel compelled to examine the pain of putting ourselves last just to get other people’s approval.
If you feel any of your old emotional wounds are being triggered, don’t ignore it! Make yourself understand why you feel the way you do, so you can release the old pain. Full Moon’s are an ideal time to liberate yourself from old trauma, anxiety, and old resentments.
So in many ways this month puts us into a state of duality, where we feel a stark contrast between two different kinds of energies that represent what we want, versus what we truly desire. The challenging part will be learning how to embrace each different influence and gaining the wisdom that comes from wanting to know what these lessons are trying to teach us.
26th —Venus moves into the sign of Pisces, right at the end of the Mercury Retrograde cycle, and tries to help us come out of the Retrograde with greater sensitivity, compassion, intuition, and spirituality. This is a blessing considering how agitating it can be when we are trying to adjust to Mercury’s shift out of Retrograde, as it goes back to its normal speed and pace once again, this is called the Shadow period.
31st – Mars is the planet that motivates us, fuels our passions and drive, and also rules over our sexual activities and how we handle our anger! Mars closes this month out by entering the sign of the twins, Gemini on the 31st. This brings in a surge of energy that affects us more mentally. There can be a stronger than usual interest in all that is intellectual, including our hobbies. We can enjoy communicating with people, especially face to face, by phone, online, or through social media even more so than usual.
We can focus better on new ideas and plans, and can get excited about what we come up with. This influence promotes strong communication, but it can be a whole lot of energy and be over stimulating for some folks. It’s like drinking large amounts of caffeine, and some folks may feel so jacked up that they have trouble relaxing because they can’t turn their minds off, so sleep and insomnia can be an issue under this influence. We may work harder to bring our ideas and plans to life, and actually pursue opportunities that make things happen!
2019 is just around the corner, and the rest of 2018 is going to be anything but boring!

November 2018 Horoscopes
Get ready folks things are going to get quite wild, exciting, and a bit confusing maybe as there are just so many major planetary shifts this month that we probably will be feeling much differently about certain things by the time we get to December. Expect more details from me over the course of the month, but in the meantime keep this newsletter to refer back to.
The Radical Change maker Uranus enters Aries, Again?
Starting Nov 6th the planet Uranus in Retrograde (backward) leaves the sign of Taurus and goes back into the sign of Aries, where it already was for nearly 8 years! So we have dealt with this energy before (2010-May 2018), but we’ll have to do it again starting now through March 5th of 2019! It’s no easy task living under the Uranus in Aries transit, it’s been one hell of a ride over the last 8 years with Uranus in Aries!! It’s really been a nice change of pace since May of 2018 when Uranus shifted into the sign of Taurus until November 5th!
But now with Uranus back in the sign of Aries, we have no choice but to take this energy head on one last time, as Uranus won’t be in the sign of Aries after next spring again for nearly eighty years! One good thing is before Uranus leaves the sign of Aries again, it will come out of its long Retrograde cycle on Jan. 7th 2019, so this can help take the edge off, as we all can feel this energy in a deep way!
For now, whole Uranus is back in the sign of Aries, we have to face our fears head on and change some things that just aren’t working for us, so we can live the life we really want to and be who we really want to be, if we like it or not! This energy affects us on a personal and global scale. What you didn’t maybe finish last spring, now you get a second chance to do so. Expect the unexpected and one wild winter and spring, especially for all the Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn folks. But either way no matter what your sign, life is certainly not settling down any time soon and either will we. Just make sure to think before you act which can be quite difficult under this influence, it’s going to take being mindful and strategic ahead of time to keep yourself calm.
New Moon
The New Moon comes together Wednesday, November 7, in the sign of Scorpio.
This energy is intensely focused and gives us deep insight into our problems. But this influence is under a fixed water sign of Scorpio, so what we tend to see is often just the tip of the iceberg. There’s always a whole lot more going on beneath the surface when it comes to Scorpio energy! Some of the themes during this month’s New Moon are subconscious motives, suppressed emotions, and other subtle energies. With this New Moon on the World’s Axis it’s a very karmic and revealing time! This is also right when the elections in the US will be going on, so something that happens during this time will directly affect everyone, as there are major changes coming!

Venus Moves out of its Retrograde Cycle!
Then on November 15th a whole lot of changes will be happening. First, off the love Goddess herself, Venus, the planet that rules our love lives and often finances will come out of Retrograde, and many of you will be able to make an important decision about your love life or a close relationship. Money issues will lighten up for some folks, especially if you were already having issues.
While Venus is Retrograde she is at her closest distance to Earth, and in fact, she’s closer than any other planet can actually be! So, a good way to think of her Retrograde is when the Earth and Venus do their dance and bring up all of her themes to the forefront of our lives, so things like relationships, love, and money! Venus is strongly on our minds and in our hearts right now, and she represents whatever involves love, money, relationships issues, jealousy, and boundaries in relationships. It’s a period of time when we should work on listening to our partners, and lovers. Sacrifice some things for your lover so they are happy!
Communication Breakdown
Mercury Retrograde
On Nov 16th, Mercury Retrograde begins its cycle in the sign of Sagittarius but is also in a tense Square to foggy Neptune for a few days which may add to the confusion. It might be more difficult than usual to ignore negative thoughts and feelings about other folks, which can make you feel quite upset, uneasy, or even ill. Your dreams might be super strong and extra vivid for a few days, but hard to understand or interrupt. Romantic adventures may be interesting during this time, but remember the difference between fantasy and reality to avoid feeling rejected and embarrassed later.
During the whole Mercury Retrograde cycle, so from Nov. 16th through Dec. 6th, be very careful about what you sign, so things like contracts or commitments of any kind. And don’t try to fit extra commitments into your schedule. This is supposed to be a time of rest and rejuvenation. And not a time to start anything brand-new for three weeks. Back up computers, and be cautious with driving and traveling. It might be difficult to stay on top of the details of your life, especially with all the technology snafus and miscommunication going on. . Take extra precautions to avoid getting sick and to keep your health well, live gently. This cycle runs throughout the Holiday Season so be mindful and do what is best for you, first!
It’s time for a turnabout, and if we are smart we will allow our minds to take a rest and go into some sort of peaceful state during these cycles, as we can then review where we have been. It’s time to get real with yourself and do some self-appraisal which is going to require for us to be extremely open-minded, and usually can only be done by those who are enlighted enough to really love themselves. It’s probably pretty obvious by now that something we have been doing in our love lives, relationships, work, or otherwise isn’t working for us, so it’s time to take new steps and follow our intuition, throw logic out the window during Mercury in Retrograde and listen to your intuition!
Endings & Letting Go
Full Moon on the 23rd
This month’s Full Moon is in the sign of Gemini, in the Pleiades Star Cluster. Since this Full Moon is in 0 degrees of Gemini, it carries a special significance, which emphasizes something fresh can start, and new lessons are handed out to be learned. This may seem like an odd time with the Full Moon coming to a stage of completion. And it also will ride right along with Uranus moving back into the sign of Aries, which means something from our past may come back up that still needs to be fixed or resolved. It’s a time to wipe the slate clean and start over again, and release what you don’t want or need so you can start something new.

Neptune turns Direct and out of Retrograde on Nov 24th
This means we finally will start to gain some clarity again and are better able to make certain decisions based on all that we have learned, thinking back to what has been revealed to us since June 18th when Neptune first went into its Retrograde cycle, as many secrets have come out to be dealt with!
The world has been quite an angry place lately if you haven’t already noticed, and as a result of this collective inner disharmony, we could see some serious anger and violence in the outer world for just a few days as Neptune comes out of its Retrograde phase! This means emotions can run high, which leads to sudden frustrations and bursts of anger. August of 2018 is starting out on an interesting note being smack in the middle of Eclipse Season. The two July Eclipses are behind us now, but there is a third Eclipse – New Moon on August 11 that can change our plans a bit. The atmosphere is still highly charged up by the Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27. I will have much more on this later.
But on August 2 we’re dealing with Mars Squaring Uranus! This Square is super powerful and it’s the second one in a series of three, therefore this energy will continue to play out through the end of September. Mars is Retrograde, which causes more frustrations than usual. And with Mars being so close to the planet Earth right now, it’s actually closer than its been in years, so its influence is increased on our lives. This has already brought a lot of fiery energy into our lives, and some folks may feel like they are at a fever pitch! But before you lose your cool, there is a beautiful Trine forming between Jupiter and Neptune that can help us let go of any anger or resentments we have.
Our minds are quite focused on expressing ourselves more directly and effectively, with Mercury in Retrograde in the sign of Leo, as we look for attention from others. Under this influence, worrying is definitely boring, because our focus in on enjoying life, need I remind you Mercury is Retrograde, and this means we may be worrying as well, especially about our children and relationships. While Mars Squares Uranus the first past of August, you should be extra careful about acting impulsive. Soon after, there’s a Trine connection between Saturn and surprising Uranus, which makes this an ideal time to make some positive changes in our lives. There’s a partial Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11th that will be visible in Northern Europe and North Eastern Asia. This is the third and final Eclipse of this Eclipse season! The Solar Eclipse will mainly be influenced by a connection being made to Mercury while in Retrograde, the main themes will be around thinking, worrying, self-expression, contemplation, discussions, and debates. Watch what you are expressing and verbalizing during that time.
This New Moon Eclipse in the Sign of Leo on August 11th is conjunct or connecting to the asteroid “Pallas-Athena”, and the planet of ideas and communication, Mercury, which is making a tense Square to Jupiter in Scorpio, she is the speaker of our highest and deepest truth! Pallas-Athena is a warrior goddess and can help us find more peaceful ways to resolve disputes due to her feminine wisdom and ability to see overreaching patterns. Currently, her vision is effectively stronger than Jupiter’s, which is in the sign of Scorpio, so this influence has kept our perspective more closed off than usual.
Back on July 25th Mercury went into Retrograde, and on August 18 Mercury will be out of its Retrograde cycle officially, but we still may have to deal with the AFTER Shadow period for about two weeks, so through the first week of September. This is going to open up many doors of opportunity because now we can sign those contracts and start new jobs, and maybe fall in love with whomever we want, at least until Venus goes Retrograde in October, yea I know lol, but life will get moving once again at the end of August.
There is also a beautiful water Trine between Jupiter and Neptune on August 19th, this will be the third and final meeting in this series. The aspect has helped us find more positive perspectives during a very difficult time with all the planets in Retrograde, it’s promoted spiritual growth and will continue to do so through the end of September, as it allows us to release the past.
The Sun enters the earthy sign of Virgo on the 23rd. This helps us to get more grounded and stable as we prepare for the Full Moon. The Sun in Virgo brings in a more sensible way of thinking, as we are more hands-on, you can greatly benefit over the next month once this starts by living simply and being more practical. The Sun in Virgo will also be harmonizing with Uranus and Saturn which are both in Earth Signs forming an amazing Grand Trine in Earth Signs. Regarding our health, pay special attention to your intestinal and digestive issues because Virgo the Virgin rules these areas of the body.
On August 26th, there will be a Full Moon in the sign of Pisces. The brings fantasy and reality together, the spiritual and the material blend, even though these things are completely opposite of each other, boundaries come down and lines get blurred which means separating one from the other will be difficult. Because this lovely combination of Pisces energy is creative and magical, this energy will bring in a strong harmonious influence. This Full Moon is a time to take the negative patterns and behaviors and balance ourselves out. The Pisces emphasis on this Full Moon will bring out the need to contemplate and relax.

Well, it’s that time again folks, things are starting to really slow down as “Mercury goes Retrograde”, this makes for an interesting Cosmic mix this summer, as this energy brings twists and turns that can cause confusion. Just mentioning this Astrological event causes some high anxiety!

If you don’t know what Mercury in Retrograde is let me help ya out. It’s when the planet Mercury appears to be going backward from our perspective here on Earth. Such a large celestial body coming to a halt in its cosmic journey comes with its repercussions and affects our lives.
There are already several other planets in Retrograde right now, and the majority of these Retrogrades aren’t as annoying as Mercury can be, or at least we just don’t notice their effects in the same way, because Mercury is closer to the Sun and is considered to be an inner-planet rather than an outer-planet like Neptune. So with a Retrograde only lasting for three weeks, it tends to wreak some havoc in a very short amount of time, and this is intense for us to handle mentally.
Since Mercury rules over our cognitive skills and processing, it affects how we communicate, express ourselves, and think, but it also affects technology and transportation. Glitches and snafus seem to be strong during this Retrograde time. Often Mercury in Retrograde will cause delays in our thinking, but it also can cause things like mistakes and errors and if you work with any kind of computer or paperwork this can be a highly annoying time! During this cycle watch for things like travel delays, losing important paperwork, computer and phones breaking down, awkward social interactions, ex’s both friends and lovers come back into our lives (this doesn’t mean we are meant to be back together with them.)
This cycle again affects how we think, therefore all kinds of odd little things can happen, like mistaking a word or sentence for something completely different than what is written, or you can hear someone say something and realize later they didn’t say it at all! Our minds have moved down into a different realm now, and we must learn how to listen to our “Intuition” to understand things that we normally cognitively would just know. So our messages from the Universe don’t come in so clearly now, things are not black or white, we are in the grey folks! Therefore, the only way to really understand things is to go by how we are FEELING, let that little voice inside you, your higher power, or guides help you by learning how to connect more so to your spirit during this time, and you can coast along and understand some things like you never have before, it can actually be a process of discovery like no other. Also, during Mercury in Retro, we tend to learn things about others and situations that we never knew before, so pay attention to the information that is coming in now it can be important later.
This time around Mercury is in the proud sign of Leo, so expect issues to come up between July 25 and Aug 18. But the Universe always creates some sort of balance and even though Mercury in Retrograde causes some mayhem for us, it is never without a purpose. During this time you are seriously supposed to be taking a time out from your daily grind, and responsibilities, yes it is a great time to take a long vacation if you can, just expect delays if you travel. It is time to turn inward into deep introspection within ourselves, rather than work against these Cosmic forces. In fact, you shouldn’t be “Starting Anything New” or take any risky moves until this cycle is done. Instead, you should be reviewing, re-working, or redoing, and organizing things in your life. There will be a point when this Mercury in Retro cycle will challenge you and your ego because you are also being tested by Mercury to learn how to trust the Universe in all its crazy unpredictable energies. So, therefore, it’s never a great idea to take failure personally, instead see it as a lesson and a learning experience. If you are doing the work spiritually or even just working with the energies in some way, you should put faith in that the doing that work, simply just works! All you can do is relax and flow with this influence and know you are doing what you can. Use this time wisely to go back over anything that comes up be it emotional, physical, or mental.
It’s a good time to clear your mind and meditate or just relax. Mercury rules the mind and in Retrograde right now we have to rely on our extra-sensory abilities, pay attention to how you’re feeling, and what you see and hear that others may not, your signs and messages. It’s time to let your intuition guide you because our rational minds are on a Vacation for the next 4 weeks.
With so many planets now in what’s called “Retrograde” Cycles, things are going to be strange, off, and confusing! The planets currently involved are Saturn, Jupiter, and soon Neptune and Mars will join them going into their own backstroke Retrograde periods. Then in the first week of July Chiron, the “wounded healer” will also enter its Retro phase, which is a whole different story to explain another day.
We are already starting to see folks resurface from our past and some of them will be our ex’s! Please remember just because they’ve come back around isn’t necessarily a sign from the Cosmos that you are destined to be together, it simply can be there’s something you need to say or experience together. Unfortunately, we are already in some sort of Astrological portal where lots of folks decide to leave the planet and crossover. So you will see or hear of many stars, officials, and entertainers passing. We went through this cycle years ago where lots of famous folks seemed to check out, and then we experienced a shorter version of this same energy last year when we lost so many famous folks like Prince. So through the beginning of September, you will probably hear more sad news about famous people making their transition. I should also mention this can affect locally famous people as well. Keep in mind sometimes being famous just means being very popular among your peers.
The other issue is there’s a strong rise of suicides happening. Sigh. With Neptune going Retrograde, this energy can be experienced so deeply that its influence makes some folks not only want to escape, but it pulls on them to leave or get out of this physical reality in some way. The shadow side of Neptune’s traits are illusions, dreams, escapism, denial, and delusions, and its influence often is associated with addiction like drug overdoses!

But we are already in the “Shadow Period” which just means the planet is slowing down to go Retrograde, so this energy is clearly already affecting us. So let’s focus on this period and the spiritual journey we should be on during this time.

During this time we should focus more on working together towards common goals, as this will help bring in better more positive energies. Warning!! Neptune’s Retrograde phase is going to bring some challenges and this can make you feel bad about yourself. The Cancer-Capricorn polarity is about how we all (no matter what your Zodiac Sign), deal with balancing our private life with our public life. The Cancer Moon teaches us about being domestic and how to have a solid more secure home base while learning how to nurture ourselves. The Capricorn Sun teaches us about our career, our reputation, and how to do what’s responsible and take accountability for our actions
The sign of Cancer also teaches us how to love ourselves and others, and handle our attachments. While the sign of Capricorn teaches us to value what we achieve, and the rewards or punishments we receive, and the “Karma” we give out and get back. So in some ways, this Full Moon is about the balance we have between unconditional and conditional love.
As this energy is trying to push us to value our home base and our roots, and the other side of this influence wants us to consider our sense of duty and responsibility especially in public settings. While Cancer energy keeps us content to be dependent, Capricorn is just the opposite and pushes us to be grown-ups and responsible. The illusions that have been seriously draining our energies! Neptune is the planet of dreams, illusions, and spirit, so when Retrograde or backward, we tend to feel more drained, foggy, confused, and even ill. This has been a rough time with Neptune also being in the sign it rules Pisces because basically, this placement enhanced all of Neptune’s traits, so it’s felt more fuzzy and confusing than usual. Well, folks, this cloud is finally just about to lift!
If you have planets in your own personal “Astrology Birth Chart” that are in the signs of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius than you might have been feeling this Neptune Retrograde Cycle even more so than the other signs.

This aspect gives us the opportunity to let go of something we’ve been hanging onto that has seemed just impossible to manifest. A WAKE-UP call is about to shake many of you right back into reality! It is a good time to work on forgiving yourself and others as well.
Neptune going Direct opens a door to finally do something that you’ve dreamed of that just didn’t seem possible, and it may not make a lot of sense but that doesn’t matter. If there’s been something you’ve really wanted to try or do and if you got some negative feedback from the people around you, it doesn’t matter because here shortly will be the time to go and at least try.
How can you tell what to dreams to chase? What is the impossible dream and will never happen? What is your true destiny, or higher calling that honors the path spirit wants you to follow?
The best way to tell the difference between what goals and dreams you should be going after is to think about the ones you keep chasing that drain your energy or actually start to depress you. That means it’s just an illusion and isn’t probably part of the path you should be going down. The right goals are the ones that make you feel energized or pumped up in some way and still excited, those are signs that you are going after a goal that is allowing you to express your authentic-self, which is a pretty good indicator that you are going down the right path!
November 22nd is the magical day when Neptune goes into its direct motion from being in Retrograde. Things are either going to finally start to come together or fall apart in the days prior and for some time after as well. Most of us can take comfort in the knowing that things are finally starting to come together now, for others the falling apart might feel bad but is happening for a higher purpose. There are breakthroughs happening all around us now!
