Mars the planet that rules over our motivation, physical actions, assertive drive, ambition, passion, war, and sexual drive shifts signs on June 26, 2020, into more fast-paced, impulsive Aries all the way through January 6th, 2021. That is a really long time for Mars to be in one sign. Its extended stay in trailblazing Aries is due to its upcoming Retrograde phase, which starts on Sept. 9th and runs through Nov. 13th.

Mars is exceptionally comfortable in its home sign of Aries, as it’s ruler naturally. Our energy levels are stronger than usual, and we are more spontaneous, forward-looking, and bolder, and courageous under its influence, as it tends to get things moving so we are more active and confident. But remember, ask yourself if it’s worth it or not first.

When it comes to your sex life, expect a boost in libido. With Mars in Aries, we want immediate gratification and will do whatever it takes to get our needs met. There’s so much dynamic energy around this placement that you may wonder if there’s anything to worry about. Well, as with any planetary alignment, there’s a positive expression and a not so positive one. When Mars in Aries shines its light, we become fearless warriors or innovative pioneers. When it’s operating in the shadow, however, we can be rash, impatient, and selfish.

So we can feel pushed and pulled or even just reminded that we should care, but at the same time, we may not be feeling it!

If we pay attention and harness this Mars in Aries energy, we can be so productive and get so much done. Just remember people tend to take impulsive actions during this time, so often there are mistakes, mishaps, and accidents. It may take a week or so to get used to this energy, so we need to be a little extra careful, and take some extra precautions to stay safe, as some people are going to get more easily frustrated and aggressive under its influence. If we can take on a strategic kind of attitude, we can plan ahead and get things done in ways we never thought of, we have to be mindful and remember to not react without thinking things through first, which is always the most difficult challenge with Mars in Aries. Venus in Virgo – “Actions Mean More Than Words”

Venus the planet that rules over love, relationships, and often money moves into more practical Virgo from August 21 thru September 14.

Love is expressed in a much more down to earth manner when Venus is in the sign of Virgo. So we tend to show our feelings in more practical ways, like by doing some sort of work, running errands, or just being there for our loved ones. Our love and affections are expressed through what we do for the ones we love, and the actions that are taken. This is what counts during this cycle. Since we more reserved, this is not a very good energy for communicating our deeper feelings. And here soon with so many planets in “Virgo”, it’s going to be really difficult to express our true feelings. This lasts through the end of September!

Love is more logical and comfortable during this time, so our relationships must have some sort of purpose with Venus in Virgo, as we are looking for long-term stability and commitment.

The sign of Virgo is an Earth Sign, so we can feel reserved but also sensual in our relationships. This energy doesn’t just affect our romantic lives, it also usually influences our spending and the way we handle our finances. During this time what we choose to spend our money on must have some sort of emotional attachment. But even if it’s money being spent on something more pleasurable, it must be practical in our own mind.

The bottom line is during this cycle whatever we enjoy must be practical and make sense. Even our relationships must feel like they have a sense of purpose, or there can be issues.

We might end up feeling a bit guilty if we are too self-indulgent during this time. Which means we stay feeling stuck and then end up doing nothing at all. The shadowy side to this cycle is we can be quite critical, nit-picky, and anxious with lovers and those that near and dear to our hearts, but especially with ourselves. March 2019 – Monthly Astro Forecast

March is always quite an important month as it’s a huge turning point and brings new fresh energy into our lives. There’s a lot of changes going down this month so we can feel these potent energies strongly. Many of you will continue to move forward and see progress in March, but we must be mindful that we are under Mercury in Retrogrades thumb for the rest of the month. Which makes it a good time to clear out old energies and get organized, so once March is over and we’re in Aries Season, then we can start new projects and follow our dreams with gusto once again. For now, this is a month to prepare and plan.

1st – 4th – Venus Square Uranus 

When Venus makes a tense connection to shocking Uranus, our love relationships stability can be challenged with unexpected desires, urges, or events. But sometimes a challenge is what breathes new life into a relationship. We are going to start to feel this probably around Feb 27th and it can go on through the 4th. There’s an increased need for freedom and excitement, as this influence can test your patience when it comes to a loved one, or it can lead to wandering eyes or outright cheating! If you have been feeling confined, smothered, or just bored then you could end up lashing out in anger, or display some sort of destructive behavior. If you’re in a healthy relationship you shouldn’t have any major drama or problems, especially with an open-minded partner. 

There’s a stronger need to experiment in the bedroom or maybe even on the kitchen table lol, as this influence pumps up our sexual activity, or satisfies a deeper need to increase our stimulation. The more demanding or conservative your partner is the more likely they are to stir up trouble, and you could end up cheating or having an affair! And if you try and resist these urges for change and excitement, and keep your feelings hidden or bottled up under this spontaneous energy, then it is likely your partner or friend, whatever the case may be, will express this energy through some sort of unexpected or sudden action.

Luckily, we aren’t as daring as one might think so we can enjoy entertainment, amusement, and novelties. If you are single you may be attracted to exciting or eccentric people, and maybe those who are more willing to take risks, or who are from a different cultural or ethnic backgrounds. A new romance or a love affair is very possible now, but be careful as these are likely to be brief relationships unless something in your personal Astro Birth Chart indicates otherwise. Let’s also talk about retail therapy, we can end up buying on impulse as shopping can be taken to a whole new level, so watch for spending way too much and for making unnecessary purchases.

5th – Mercury goes Retrograde

Mercury goes into its first Retrograde of 2019, occurring in the sign of Pisces from March 5 – 28, and at 29 degrees, which is the anaretic degree or point of crisis (which tends to be harsher feeling.) This Mercury in Retrograde cycle seems to resurrect old situations or problems that we thought we were done and over with, only for us to have to deal with all over again. This is a time when we need a lot of rest, and to really focus on being kind to one another. Some folks might be quite mean or cruel, but don’t allow yourself to go there, instead focus on compassion. This is a time to make sure and set some healthy boundaries, as we are more susceptible and vulnerable to manipulation and deception, especially during the last part of Mercury in Retrograde in the end of March when Mercury is conjunct Neptune, Pisces ruling planet. This causes our thoughts to be foggy and can make things even more confusing, and it being Retrograde time it will be even stronger than usual. 

6th – New Moon

There will be a healing New Moon on March 6th, in the sign of Pisces, and this influence actually helps us focus on the magic of life and be a little more clear about how to start anything new. But it also brings about emotional uncertainty, as this magical New Moon bestows us with deep magical vibes and helps restore our imagination. During this New Moon take some time to create a sacred space that you can play and zen out in, and perhaps reach some sort of spiritual enchantment that syncs your physical reality and fantasies. Breathe and relax and feel out things, and look for the deeper meaning of it all. This is a time for creators, manifestos, intuitive, sensitives, and healers. New Moons are a time to regenerate, but this is also particularly charming energy due to it being in such close connection to spiritual Neptune, the planet of dreams, mysticism, and inspiration. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by to connect to the possibilities available to you. The veils are very thin still, therefore, it’s easier to discover the magic and use it in your everyday life. Our confidence and energy levels are quite high now so we are being enlightened with wisdom,  so we should use it to our advantage.

6th – Uranus moves into Taurus 

On March 6th, 2019, Uranus moves out of Aries, and into the sign of Taurus.

Uranus is the most exciting planet in the Cosmos, it brings about major energy shifts, and the winds of change are blowing this month when it changes signs into the bull, Taurus, where it will stay for nearly a decade! So there will be a lot of movement happening as we get adjusted to this shift. It encourages us to break down old worn out patterns and outdated structures so we can explore the potential of what could be.

We’re in hot energy right now with Uranus in the anaretic degree of Aries which is called the crisis point. It’s a time to tie up loose ends, as we can feel like starting and finishing things quickly while we have the chance. With Uranus in Taurus and with Uranus in Taurus, we can focus on a whole new shift, a whole new phase, a whole new decade of life. 

Uranus moves very slowly around the Zodiac wheel and spends approximately seven and a half years in each sign. If you pay attention to the effects of Uranus as it goes through each sign, you will see just how unique each of these energies affects the political structures now crumbling to the ground. While Uranus was in the sign of Aries all these years, millions of us started to assert our political beliefs and develop commitments to fighting for the people and causes that are important to us. 


The sign of Taurus rules over money, food, agriculture, and resources. With the planet Uranus in this nurturing sign, we can expect to see major changes in these areas of our lives on both a global and personal level.

20th – Spring Equinox 

On March 20th, also the day of the Vernal Equinox marks the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This is when the ice and snow finally melt and the ground starts to thaw and Sun shines a little brighter every day. It’s a promise of warmth and abundance to come. With the Sun in Aries on this day, it’s influence sparks the energy we need to get pumped up into high gear and prepare for the excitement that is to come.

20th – Full Moon in Libra 

Also on March 20th the Full Moon in Libra occurs. Under the Full Moon we often find ourselves trying to balance ourselves out emotionally. This time the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries oppose each other. So this starts an internal struggle within each of us to equal things out, between how both these energies affect us.

Libra being the sign of partnership is about everyone else’s needs, while Aries is more focused on self and our personal needs. This Full Moon is making a close connection to the “wounded healer” Chiron. This brings up old grievances just enough, that we can feel left out or put second, or we might feel compelled to examine the pain of putting ourselves last just to get other people’s approval.

If you feel any of your old emotional wounds are being triggered, don’t ignore it! Make yourself understand why you feel the way you do, so you can release the old pain. Full Moon’s are an ideal time to liberate yourself from old trauma, anxiety, and old resentments.

So in many ways this month puts us into a state of duality, where we feel a stark contrast between two different kinds of energies that represent what we want, versus what we truly desire. The challenging part will be learning how to embrace each different influence and gaining the wisdom that comes from wanting to know what these lessons are trying to teach us. 

26th —Venus moves into the sign of Pisces, right at the end of the Mercury Retrograde cycle, and tries to help us come out of the Retrograde with greater sensitivity, compassion, intuition, and spirituality. This is a blessing considering how agitating it can be when we are trying to adjust to Mercury’s shift out of Retrograde, as it goes back to its normal speed and pace once again, this is called the Shadow period.

31st – Mars is the planet that motivates us, fuels our passions and drive, and also rules over our sexual activities and how we handle our anger! Mars closes this month out by entering the sign of the twins, Gemini on the 31st. This brings in a surge of energy that affects us more mentally. There can be a stronger than usual interest in all that is intellectual, including our hobbies. We can enjoy communicating with people, especially face to face, by phone, online, or through social media even more so than usual.

We can focus better on new ideas and plans, and can get excited about what we come up with. This influence promotes strong communication, but it can be a whole lot of energy and be over stimulating for some folks. It’s like drinking large amounts of caffeine, and some folks may feel so jacked up that they have trouble relaxing because they can’t turn their minds off, so sleep and insomnia can be an issue under this influence. We may work harder to bring our ideas and plans to life, and actually pursue opportunities that make things happen!

There are lots of changes going down this month to discuss.
On Tuesday, January 8th, mental Mercury gets into a tense Square connection with heated up Mars! It may feel like people just want to argue or be mad, so they don’t know how to hold back and shut up! Lots of you might feel like getting something off your chest, but I warn you if you do lose your cool it can get heated up in ways you didn’t even imagine and even out of control! 

If you were born during any of the times below, arguments are very possible! Avoid important or controversial conversations on this day if you know someone born during these times.

This is a very powerful time for transformation on Friday, and this weekend can be a strong time for endings and major transitions. This is also “Eclipse Season”, so those folks who have been waiting to crossover, might be ready to leave now, so say your final goodbyes now if you can. Some of you may feel a little depressed, but this too shall pass. Use this time instead to dig deeper and do some inner work on yourself!


Venus shifted into the sign of Sagittarius, so all you Sagittarius folks can have a rather good three weeks. If you were born between Nov 22nd and Dec 21st, you’ll notice people are sort of drawn to you and are more kind. Sudden good things can happen randomly.

Wondering what happened to the Holidays? Now that Jupiter is in the fire sign of Sagittarius, and all the planets are moving forward, life is moving rather quickly. The good news is you can get an awful lot done this year, as the calendar moves fast. So it’s a good time to be prepared and set yourself up for success.

Write out some resolutions around what you want to release starting now, as the FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE comes together on January 21st or 22nd, (depending on what time zone you live in) in the sign of Leo! This is a going to be a fast-moving month with all the planets mainly in Fire Signs! Mental Mercury moved into the sign of Virgo this week, where it actually feels more comfortable, but this influence can cause overthinking and have you overdoing something, especially if it is mentally stimulating.

 

Saturn has gone direct from its Retrograde Cycle, hooray! You should start to notice feeling happier again, and that heavy weight being lifted off your shoulders. Saturn has been in Retrograde for nearly 5 months, this means you can start to make big moves forward again with goals and tasks you have been holding back on since April! You more than likely will be given more responsibility or be asked to take on more obligations now.

 

A rare few feel better under certain Retrograde cycles, depending on the planet and where it is located in your own personal Astrology Birth Chart! All Retrograde cycles are not the same because each time a planet goes into its Retrograde cycle it is in a different sign, so the effects they have can be very different for all of us.

 

Friday a lovely Earth “Grand Trine” came together involving Mercury, Saturn, and Uranus. This will be an excellent weekend for making plans and long-term goals. So get to work on your future folks, you have been waiting long enough, the time to take action and make moves is now!

 

On Saturday, September 8, all the couples out there need to be careful, as the Cosmic Lovers, Venus and Mars face off!

This can bring up drama and conflict in our intimate and close personal relationships, so it’s going to be all too easy to pick fights over the weekend, try to let your passions lead you to do other things instead of arguing. Get moving and burn off that energy!

This isn’t the kind of energy you have to push to make changes happen, unlike the unexpected aspect or T-Square energy I discussed in the first part of this article. This is a more natural change that unfolds in our lives this fall. This helps us gain control or power over something more spiritual so it can help with things like wealth, personal growth, or even our career growth. The Cosmic forces are now working behind the scenes in our favor since Pluto is involved, we just might have our luck expanded in some way with Jupiter helping things along, so some of you are going to see real advancements. There could be a new job or a promotion at work, or you could see your income increase or draw some sort of money to you! September of 2018 is the time to check on all your work and get organized since we’ve been under so much heavy Retrograde (backward) energy. I know this is a long article, but I had to share all the excitement, and what a month this is going to be folks, as we start off slow moving, but there are such strong shifts that start to move us forward again, you may be in a completely different place in one or more areas of your life by the end of the year under all these changes! The “Heavy Retrograde Season” energy is coming unraveled now and many of the planets that have held us back and stifled our forward movement while in Retrograde are going to be moving forward once again by the end of the month. So get ready big changes are coming! Get excited and start planning your next big move.
We start out the month with a long-term Jupiter/Saturn aspect on September 3rd, this connection comes just in time to help us focus on getting to work without taking any shortcuts, so more then likely taking an easier path won’t help you to sidestep any of your responsibilities for the first week of the month. This is the time to rebuild and restructure our lives, work, and business goals. Breathe new life into old projects and maybe wait until the New Moon on the 9th to start anything totally brand-new. Do the legwork and take steps to help you get where you want, but if you push or overdo things now you might just hit a brick wall and get quite frustrated! Many of you will feel quite overwhelmed this month as you try to get things back on track again, but that’s due to jumping so fast, one step at a time folks!
Mercury and Mars just went forward again and out of their Retrograde cycles in August, and on September 6th Saturn also goes forward and out of Retrograde! This is a big deal and will be felt in a deep way. There have been six planets in their Retrograde cycles all summer long, so many of you have felt stuck in one or more areas of your life. But all the frustration and delays are about to come to an end folks when Karmic Saturn finally comes out of Retrograde! This energy is already slowing us back down again as it gets ready for this shift, so you may feel tired or worn out, and are questioning your health right now, but really it’s just this energy zapping you. Saturn’s energy, when slowed down, can feel heavy and like you have a weight on your shoulders. It’s important now to set boundaries and work on saying “No” to the things you don’t want, or to what’s not working for you anymore, including any promises or commitments you’ve outgrown.
Saturn freshly out of Retrograde on the 6th will also make a beautiful “Grand Trine” with Mercury and Uranus. This is the Cosmic boost we are needing, as it helps raise our motivation levels to go after our goals. And it brings in some amazing opportunities we can chase down! Saturn is known as the planet of Karmic Debt so it can help us take out the trash and clean up some of the messes that the “High Retrograde” Season caused that started last April. A whole lot of folks will finally start to see progress and positive changes through the end of the year despite any Retrograde slow-downs.
There’s a magical New Moon coming together September 9th, in the sign of service, Virgo. If you are intuitive, Psychic, or sensitive, you may feel this energy strong! This time around the Sun and Moon are well aspected by powerful Pluto and lucky Jupiter. So pay attention, all healers, light workers, or spiritual warriors as special gifts are coming soon! There’s some seriously lucky energy brewing now and you might be feeling like something is coming, but you just can’t put your finger on it, and you may just end up in the right place at the right time, and something special might be happening very soon over the days leading up to this glorious New Moon. Some folks will just feel especially good from this influence and things will fall into place, finally! It’s about time.
Also, let me not fail to mention this New Moon is also going to be in a tense opposition to foggy Neptune, this influence may just put us in the right place to be of help or service to someone else! The Universe is calling out all healers and lightworkers of the world to do some serious work from the heart, so we must continue to lift others up during this time. Pay extra close attention to any opportunities that present themselves to be helpful or of service to someone who needs you! It’s important and not only helps those in need but also helps us balance our own Karmic Debt out, but more importantly healing others always in return helps heal you!
We have already been working on eliminating what is blocking us, and removing obstacles in our way. But when mentally curious Mercury makes a connection to Venus in Scorpio on September 9th, the energies shift once again, especially around our love life! The process of getting rid of stuff will continue for the next month. I don’t know about you but I have been hit by this a few weeks ago and have been organizing everything! And with Mercury now out of Retrograde, it is just that much easier to get things in order.
Venus will enter Scorpio also on the 9th and this will be a time of intensity, passion, and commitment in our relationships, and around our financial affairs. This is conveniently perfect timing with Fall right around the corner, as the mistress herself moves into sultry Venus, and any skeletons in your romantic closets can come out so we can be more secretive about both money and love. This influence can bring intimate encounters with someone sexy, magnetic, and maybe even irresistible. This can tie the bonds between lovers and friends on a soul level, and also is a time of healing and transformation in our relationships!
Starting September 12th will be a good time to make important decisions, negotiations, and commitments when Jupiter makes a nice connection to powerful Pluto. Under these energies, we can actually have successful business meetings, especially if they are involving investments or real estate. While in this powerful energy we are able to nurture our ambitions. It’s a favorable time for the law, business, and commerce. Plus we might enjoy increased influence and insight now, as this energy helps restore our faith and hope, and opens us up to the possibilities! You might notice a deeper, stronger desire to make your mark out in the world, so you’ll give more time and energy to help yourself and others. This motivates us to go after some personal or professional goals! You might feel the nudge from this alignment to do something to better yourself, it’s time for some self-help really! Problems get solved more easily at this time, especially ones that have been around for a while. Sudden resources or opportunities show up that we missed out on before.
The Sun Enters The Zodiac Sign of Libra on September 22nd, and this sets the tone for the next three months. This is our Autumnal Equinox. On that day we will experience equal hours of daylight and darkness. While under the Sun in Libra we will strive to keep some sort of balance and greater equilibrium for the next 28 days or so. Our relationships will also become of great interest and focus from September 22nd through October 23rd, but we can struggle with how to handle our relationships with Venus in Scorpio now. It’s going to take real balance to feel comfortable with our love lives.
The Full Moon comes together on September 24th in the sign of Aries! This is going to be a strong, potent Full Moon that serves as a reminder to consider if you’re taking care of yourself and the people in your close relationships or partnerships, equally. But this also can bring up issues about our leadership skills, and our abilities to initiate the changes that we need. While under this lunation, it makes a tense square to stern Saturn, so things may feel heavy or even draining once again during this Full Moon, but this is short lived. This can produce the energy of blocks and restrictions, so it can feel harsh as we are being served with reality checks. But we will show the Universe and prove to ourselves just how tough, resilient, and persistent we can be.
On the 25th, Chiron the “Wounded Healer” moves back into the sign of sensitive Pisces while in Retrograde, it was in this sign for years prior, but then it will go back into Aries later until finally going out of Retrograde on December 8th. This Retrograde cycle is all about taking the time to assess your mental and physical well-being. If you are not choosing to deal with any health or mental problems you might be experiencing during this time, they can become a bigger issue. Don’t ignore your body, listen to it! Chiron is trying to show you what’s wrong so you can heal something. Chiron is always about learning how to live with and through pain, so it wants you to deal with your emotional trauma and let go of your suffering.
Pluto will also turn direct from its Retrograde cycle on the 30th, this will be an intense shift folks! Weeks prior expect to feel perhaps more sensitive about the roles you play and what you have power and control over, and what you don’t! This shift can make us hyper-focused around our ambitions, as there is a strong pull or need to feel empowered by something in our daily lives. Over the coming weeks and months, the power to make deep changes in our lives becomes more evident and direct. We are more likely to start making big and necessary changes as we don’t feel as held back as we have while Pluto was in Retrograde over the last several months. So this is yet another powerful influence in September that motivates us to get moving and make changes!
September of 2018 is shaping up to be a pretty interesting month, with all these planets shifting and moving forward once again, you to should be able to move towards your dreams, plans, and goals that were kept on hold since last spring. Success is in the air, and this energy opens things back up! As we walk and then run through these cosmic doors, a bunch of you will feel more ambitious, so you’ll be able to achieve some of your goals over the next few months, especially around your work or career. But watch for pitfalls, there’s an awful lot of shifts and we may not be as ready as we feel just yet to make major changes! This is a month to stick to doing what is expected of you and see what good stuff you can draw in. So allow some things to just play out and see what happens at first, then follow the good feeling stuff.

August of 2018 is starting out on an interesting note being smack in the middle of Eclipse Season. The two July Eclipses are behind us now, but there is a third Eclipse – New Moon on August 11 that can change our plans a bit. The atmosphere is still highly charged up by the Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27. I will have much more on this later.

But on August 2 we’re dealing with Mars Squaring Uranus! This Square is super powerful and it’s the second one in a series of three, therefore this energy will continue to play out through the end of September. Mars is Retrograde, which causes more frustrations than usual. And with Mars being so close to the planet Earth right now, it’s actually closer than its been in years, so its influence is increased on our lives. This has already brought a lot of fiery energy into our lives, and some folks may feel like they are at a fever pitch! But before you lose your cool, there is a beautiful Trine forming between Jupiter and Neptune that can help us let go of any anger or resentments we have.

Our minds are quite focused on expressing ourselves more directly and effectively, with Mercury in Retrograde in the sign of Leo, as we look for attention from others. Under this influence, worrying is definitely boring, because our focus in on enjoying life, need I remind you Mercury is Retrograde, and this means we may be worrying as well, especially about our children and relationships. While Mars Squares Uranus the first past of August, you should be extra careful about acting impulsive. Soon after, there’s a Trine connection between Saturn and surprising Uranus, which makes this an ideal time to make some positive changes in our lives. Check yourself and stay focused, as you slowly work towards your long-term goals. This influence can help keep your mind distracted long enough so you may be calm and even patient, then you can plan out things accordingly.

With so many planets moving backward during the month of August, it certainly can be exhausting and intense feeling at times. There’s Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto all Retrograde now, along with Chiron, and soon Uranus will be in Retrograde on August 7. This High Retrograde Season means we are more vulnerable and in a subjective place, as ideas are just being developed. But it can be difficult to be patient with the Sun in Leo pushing us to get into the spotlight!

There’s a partial Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11th that will be visible in Northern Europe and North Eastern Asia. This is the third and final Eclipse of this Eclipse season! The Solar Eclipse will mainly be influenced by a connection being made to Mercury while in Retrograde, the main themes will be around thinking, worrying, self-expression, contemplation, discussions, and debates. Watch what you are expressing and verbalizing during that time.

This New Moon Eclipse in the Sign of Leo on August 11th is conjunct or connecting to the asteroid “Pallas-Athena”, and the planet of ideas and communication, Mercury, which is making a tense Square to Jupiter in Scorpio, she is the speaker of our highest and deepest truth! Pallas-Athena is a warrior goddess and can help us find more peaceful ways to resolve disputes due to her feminine wisdom and ability to see overreaching patterns. Currently, her vision is effectively stronger than Jupiter’s, which is in the sign of Scorpio, so this influence has kept our perspective more closed off than usual.

Back on July 25th Mercury went into Retrograde, and on August 18 Mercury will be out of its Retrograde cycle officially, but we still may have to deal with the AFTER Shadow period for about two weeks, so through the first week of September. This is going to open up many doors of opportunity because now we can sign those contracts and start new jobs, and maybe fall in love with whomever we want, at least until Venus goes Retrograde in October, yea I know lol, but life will get moving once again at the end of August.

There is also a beautiful water Trine between Jupiter and Neptune on August 19th, this will be the third and final meeting in this series. The aspect has helped us find more positive perspectives during a very difficult time with all the planets in Retrograde, it’s promoted spiritual growth and will continue to do so through the end of September, as it allows us to release the past.

The Sun enters the earthy sign of Virgo on the 23rd. This helps us to get more grounded and stable as we prepare for the Full Moon. The Sun in Virgo brings in a more sensible way of thinking, as we are more hands-on, you can greatly benefit over the next month once this starts by living simply and being more practical. The Sun in Virgo will also be harmonizing with Uranus and Saturn which are both in Earth Signs forming an amazing Grand Trine in Earth Signs. Regarding our health, pay special attention to your intestinal and digestive issues because Virgo the Virgin rules these areas of the body.

On August 26th, there will be a Full Moon in the sign of Pisces. The brings fantasy and reality together, the spiritual and the material blend, even though these things are completely opposite of each other, boundaries come down and lines get blurred which means separating one from the other will be difficult.  Because this lovely combination of Pisces energy is creative and magical, this energy will bring in a strong harmonious influence. This Full Moon is a time to take the negative patterns and behaviors and balance ourselves out. The Pisces emphasis on this Full Moon will bring out the need to contemplate and relax.

This Full Moon is an opportunity to find what is totally magical about our lives. We should be tapping into our spiritual self through things like meditation, yoga, spiritual exercises, or anything that helps us balance our mind, body, and spirit together, which will allow our plans and lives to flow much more easily.

July has been an intense month on the Astrological front lines, with Mercury going Retrograde on July 25, and a Full Blood Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27, it’s about to get intense folks! A Blood Moon is extremely potent and its effects are stronger than a normal Full Moon because a Total Lunar Eclipse always follows and stirs up lots of activity and emotions.

A Full Blood Moon has nothing to do with actual Blood! Even though life might be crazy during this time. It actually gets its name from the reddish hue it shines when the Earth and the Sun align and block the light of the Full Moon. Since ancient times Blood Moon’s have been labeled as a time of misfortune and chaos by very superstitious people. But more than likely it’s the hype that fed those rumors and created such fear that something bad was going to happen, so during these cycles, folks tend to get riled up and make poor choices. It is certainly a stressful energy we have to deal with, but it is what you make of it! In all actuality, we should be paying attention to the other planets and their connections to the Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse to see how it will affect us!

This Eclipse will be affected more so by the planet Mars, which means this cycle will make us feel extremely emotional charged! Mars influence can cause frustrations or even anger which could easily turn into reckless actions, because of a harsh connection Mars is making to game-changer Uranus also at the time of the Eclipse. So yes, this can mean problems, but there are ways to get around these energies and deal with them. Forewarned is forearmed as they say! Now there’s a more gentle influence from Saturn coming in also during this time, and this can help keep things more grounded and calmer. And there’s also some fixed stars influence as well that can help us to be more patient and decisive in a crisis, but they also can cause more aggression and emotional upheaval.

It is said that the Total Lunar Eclipse this July is the longest running Lunar Eclipse this century, which only make its influence more intensified.

This Lunar Eclipse turns our attention towards our feelings, home & family, and intimate relationships. So as potent as this illumination is, it’s going to have an incredibly powerful influence mostly on our private lives. We will only be one day into Mercury’s Retrograde cycle the day the Blood Moon comes together and this can make people feel very nervous. There’s a lot of folks who still fear the Eclipses so some of you will be hanging out close to home out of fear, but we really shouldn’t allow this energy to scare us!

This energy certainly has its challenges, and with that painful transformations are already happening to lots of people. The Eclipse is a hard reset like on a smartphone, and a rather large download of information we receive from the Universe like an Update, but for our souls! So if over the last six months or so, things in your life have been building up to crescendo you just can’t seem to handle this Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse can be a new beginning or a fresh start actually, please hang on tight you are about to breakthrough! This might cause us to be upset in some way, but this Karmic Experience can actually help us get rid of unwanted emotional baggage. It’s a cleansing for our soul!

We are already in Eclipse Season as it’s called, so if you have been feeling dragged down and out of it, that is completely normal. This just means the Eclipse energy is already begun, and in the weeks to come we must be prepared to expect the unexpected! Eclipses are turning points in our lives, and situations shift quickly without little warning, changes are everywhere right now, and sometimes we lose our footing during this time. This energy can be very disorienting when you aren’t aware of what is happening, and with so many planets in Retrograde it is a massive time of confusion. Since we won’t be able to visibly see this Lunar Eclipse here in the States we might not be paying attention to when it’s happening and try to ignore its side effects, but this can catch you off guard by its unstable energies, because regardless if you can see it or not, it is happening and its energies will affect you.

Our emotions and passions will be in high gear during this particular Lunar Eclipse, and our anger can be more explosive, so waves of sadness and frustrations might feel more overwhelming, and our passions will be more powerful than normal, but also moments of pleasure and happiness can feel like nirvana! Admittedly, this is a rough time for us, however, there is a ray of hope as we go through this transformation and the side effects we are experiencing are just necessary growing pains as we go through this metamorphosis! I believe strongly we will come out different on the other end of this Eclipse Season, with information planted in our unconscious minds to be brought out and discovered, it is an interesting but exciting time folks!

If you feel like you are in a dark place and are just blind to what is going to happen next, we are in the time of Mercury and so many other planets in Retrograde, but just know the light will find you once again and you will eventually see a glimmer if you will while you are in this dark emotional place, so DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! Allow the peacefulness that comes from being in the dark and not so distracted to wash over you and do something spiritual, like write in a journal or take a nice Moon bath. Do something that makes you feel better when you are stressed out during this time, take extra care and nurture yourself. The Eclipse energy is hard on us, and we need to get lots of rest, eat right, and exercise during this time to be at our best to handle these powerful downloads that are about to come in.

A Look Ahead
Two weeks after this Lunar Eclipse occurs there will be a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11.

Once again another very rare and important time, that I will explain more as we get closer to that time, but for now you should know this will be a good time for new and lucky breaks and new beginnings! The Eclipse in Leo can be a lucky time for winnings and games of chance. Leo is already considered a lucky Sign, but you don’t have to be a Leo to reap the rewards from this Eclipse. If you are going to “Set Intentions” or make out Wish Lists for the New Moon on August 11, then focus your attention on money, prosperity, career, love, protection, peace and happiness, and healing!

Finally, remember that Eclipses bring about much-needed changes that you don’t always understand at the time. July of 2018 is going to be a month full of surprises, where the second half of 2018’s Eclipses will start to come together, these life-changing cycles arrive July 12 and July 27. So the pace won’t be as slow as it has been (thank goodness), but we are in the middle of Retrograde High Season with five Planets in the Cosmos including Chiron the “Wounded Healer” all in their Retrograde cycles. Throughout July, these planets will be making their backward reversals, and at the end of the month, mental Mercury jumps on the bandwagon also going Retrograde on the 25th. Even though we are ready to move forward, July is once again a time to slow down, retrace your steps and handle any left behind or unfinished business. All month long, energizer Mars, structured Saturn, dreamy Neptune, and transformational Pluto are moving in reverse, which puts our energy and motivation levels down into low gear. And did I mention Chiron the wounded healer as well, yep also Retrograde, to bring up and out all those deep-seated emotional wounds, this can trigger you to relieve some sort of painful experience from your past or at least FEEL the way you did during something that was traumatic or painful, but it’s meant to come up to work through and heal.

Venus the planet that rules over love lives, relationships, and often money enters the sign of Virgo on July 9th, this is a time when we express how we love through practical manners and gestures. So instead of sharing how we are feeling emotionally with the object of our affection, we tend to show our feelings through the actions we take by doing things that make our partners and loved ones happy and feel taken care of. Expect the ones you love to show you how they care for you in the little things they do such as running errands, doing some kind of detailed work, or just making sure they’re around to support you. Under Venus in Virgo love has to make some sort of sense and have a purpose. It’s all about being practical under this influence.

Jupiter is now at a standstill because it will come out of its Retrograde cycle on July 10th, and will continue to move forward in the sign of Scorpio. Our bigger plans could get moving a bit more at this point, we should use this influence to tap into our higher-self to find a space of wealth and spiritual power for the good of all. The shadow side of this cycle is we can become more greedy and lustful looking for wealth and power, which can lead to some folks taking advantage of others. Things like abuse, misuse, ill-treatment & unfair treatment, and oppression will be some of the negative sides of this influence, especially with Jupiter being the sign of the detective of the Zodiac! We can uncover some seriously disturbing truths during this time, so if you have done something wrong you might want to find a way to fix it or the truth will be shown, especially around the time when the Full Moon occurs.

Eclipse Season begins on July 12th, when a New Moon – Partial Solar Eclipse occurs in the sensitive sign of Cancer. This can cause a crisis in your self-esteem, and in your relationships or around an event. The Solar Eclipse is opposing powerful Pluto which is about making a transformation to help better yourself. To evolve your soul so you can live a better experience that’s more satisfying in this life. This transformational energy will be common in our close relationships, so with a close family member, friend, or partner.

Leo Season begins on July 22nd, this is when the Sun moves into the sign of Leo. During this time we will see some folks show their asses plain and simple, with ego trips and battles, but hopefully, it is also going to be a time when people express themselves from the heart in a more authentic way! This influence can help us feel more optimistic and confident, so we can make important contacts and strengthen bonds with our current tribe of folks we care for.

With mental Mercury, the planet of communication turning Retrograde in the sign of Leo from July 25th till August 18th, the drama is going to be quite strong! Mercury also rules over technology and travel, so you already know if you follow my blog posts, Mercury in Retrograde is a very confusing time where we see technical glitches and malfunctions occur all over the place. People tend to get confused easily and forget what they are talking about, so be patient with yourself and others, and if you travel expect delays!

The Full Moon comes together on July 27th, and will be in the sign of intellectual Aquarius and a Total Lunar Eclipse!
A Lunar Eclipse is a perfectly aligned “Supercharged” Full Moon! When the Earth’s shadow falls between the Sun and the Moon, this is typically the brightest lunation of the month, but it will be shadowed by darkness due to the Eclipse. As the lights go out, our shadows, secrets, and repressed feelings that might have seemed too big or scary to get our attention and expression come alive. Changes that have been occurring sort of behind the scenes and deep within ourselves are brought up and out to deal with first hand, and we can see significant changes and completions.

This Eclipse is highly influenced by Mars now in its Retrograde cycle. This turns this Full Moon into a highly emotionally charged Eclipse. Mars is the planet that rules over our passion, drive, and anger, so it is certainly a time to be cautious as this influence can easily cause reckless actions to be taken, because of another harsh aspect Mars is making to the planet of changes, Uranus during the Full Moon time things can get pretty wild folks! This will also be a strong turning point within the Mars Retrograde cycle and for all of us in one way or another. It is a time to be extremely vigilant and grounded. Think before reacting, think before speaking, don’t let your fuse get lit, because once it does it’s all over with.

Overall, July of 2018 will certainly not be a boring month, so we should take notes around what we want to accomplish but also move cautiously and slowly, as big changes are coming in, but if we pay attention and understand how the planets are influencing our lives, we can better navigate this time and hopefully make it a month to remember for the more positive outcomes. I am aware some of this sounds super scary but remember a few things if you come from your heart in all you do, then you will do much better. And some of these stronger influences just won’t be as harsh to deal with. Learn how to observe life and not always react, this will change the game completely for you!

Well here we are folks, yet another planet is going into Retrograde! This time it’s Mars. Unlike when Mercury goes Retrograde, and the world’s electronics tend to go wonky, we will need to pay extra attention to our “actions” because Mars rules over our passions, drive, motivation, and physical movement!
With Mars in Retrograde moving in any direction can be difficult. This is a time when we seem to struggle with getting tasks done or we leave things incomplete. Instead of moving around physically, we tend to travel more mentally. It’s a good time to redo, renovate, and repair things instead of pushing to move forward and taking on new projects!
~Mars will be in its Retrograde cycle from June 26th through August 27th!
The planet Mars moves fast so it only goes Retrograde every two years! It’s probably a good idea to think first before starting anything and when taking certain actions, because this cycle tends to lower our energy levels and can cause frustrations as obstacles come up around whatever we make an effort to get done. Most Astrologers agree that during Mars Retrograde we should be extra cautious and if at all possible avoid activities that are considered to be risky or demanding. Lots of folks end up in minor accidents or fail to judge a situation correctly during this time.
Even during this Planetary cycle, life goes on!
For 11 weeks while Mars is Retrograde, we will have to make important decisions even though it’s not the best time. So for example, if you’re unemployed, you’re going to want to accept a new job offer. During Mars Retro you probably will feel the same lack of energy or vitality in any part of your life your take on. So for this reason alone, it’s not the best time to start anything brand new, whether it’s a job, relationship, (sexual or otherwise) or even an argument. If you’ve already started something before this cycle began, it is time to slow down, cool yourself off, and reassess what you want and desire for now before taking any further action.
It’s also not a great time to enter a sexual relationship, committed or not. But most of us don’t want to be celibate, so you probably won’t be. But if you’re planning any important events make sure to pick a time when the planetary influences are working to your advantage, and for some, the Retrogrades are a better time, but let me point out that it’s rare!! But if you pay attention to the planets or have an Astrologer on hand you’ll learn how different planetary cycles affect you.
The bottom line is while Mars is Retrograde its energy is lacking, and this is the planet of Physical Energy, so this is why starting any “new” sexual relationships are seen as being an issue. It’s doubtful once this cycle is over your desire for someone new will continue, or they might feel differently and you can end up breaking off entirely or worse being “ghosted” by your new lover.
However, it’s actually a good time to figure out what you do want around the parts of our lives that Mars rules over such as what makes you feel passionate, driven, sexual, or angry! Even if you have to wait until after this cycle is over to go after it! This is a highly intense energy, which means it’s a good time to wait things out because most anything you start during this cycle will be short-lived. The Universe might grab your attention and lead you towards someone, but this doesn’t mean you should act on it immediately! Take a step back from starting anything brand-new or making any permanent plans until the end of August when Mars is back on track heading in the right direction once again.
This change in energy isn’t to reach a final destination point, it’s not something that lasts, so we shouldn’t change course or stray too far from our normal routines. This includes starting new jobs or relationships! Even though at first it may seem amazing, later on once Mars is back to normal things can happen. It’s important not to jump or to be impulsive just to be with someone new or start up something completely different. We should take into consideration all the planets that are currently in their Retrograde cycles and how this affects us and our lives.
Timing is important even if you work very hard and feel like you’re prepared to go after what you want to accomplish, but if your timing is off you may not get things done or succeed. So for most of us, it’s best to wait until after Mars goes direct on August 27, and start new things at that time.
It just might be a time that when we must work on adjusting our expectations and calmly moving through our frustrations that get in the way of what it is we really want to accomplish. Therefore, if you have activities you want to start, take a step back and re-consider them first. Take this time to pause and reflect on your life and what your next moves will be, then once Mars is back direct you’ll be ready to go!

June will be quite an active month with lots of planets entering their Retrograde cycles. This is going to really slow things down folks. First, off Mars, the planet that helps motivate us goes Retro on the 26th, and both Jupiter and Saturn are already in their Retrograde cycles, therefore change is a strong factor in the June Forecast.
Also, Neptune, the planet of spirit and dreams is starting to slow down as it gets ready for its Retrograde cycle on June 18th, this can be a wake-up call, where we have an opportunity to see where reality has been distorted by our own ideals. The truth of what’s really been going on just might surprise you.
On June 13th, the New Moon in curious Gemini give us a chance to plant some seeds of change, and this puts our focus more so on how the power of our thoughts, words, and ideas shape our reality! This energy can help teach you that the way to shift your circumstances is to view your problems from a new or different perspective. Under this Gemini energy, we get the opportunity to see just how this works! We have a chance to use these Gemini energies to view many different perspectives all at one time and gain a greater understanding of how we think or view our lives and situations.
If you feel like you are in a rut or stuck in some way in your life, you can allow this New Moon energy to help you, by taking some time to pause and reflect on your thoughts about what’s been happening and to make necessary changes to your life. Maybe these actions will lead to new and improved outcomes.
On June 15th we will have to deal with mental Mercury’s opposition or connection to Saturn, this means we may have to make some sort of new commitment towards our responsibilities, or an important decision will need to be made at this time around what we are supposed to be doing. With Mercury in the sign of the crab, Cancer, many of you will have to make these decisions around your family or other close relations, home, or real estate. Actually, this Mercury/Saturn energy can help us think much more realistically about our current circumstances. But it also can cause some of you to feel extremely negative or overly critical, cynical, or judgemental in your thinking. It will be important during this time to make sure and not react without really thinking things through first.
The Sun will shift from chatty Gemini, the information collector of the Zodiac, into more withdrawn Cancer on the 21st, which also marks the Summer Solstice. This symbolizes our need to plant roots and to figure out just where we belong in this world, but the Cosmos may not be as cooperative as we would like, and we can feel moody and pensive during this time.
There also is an opposition between the “Cosmic Lovers” of the Zodiac, Venus, and Mars at this time. This energy can churn up our emotional state around what we desire or what we feel we are lacking in our lives, and this is mainly in our intimate relationships. This can cause your resentments to rear their ugly head, but that just means to watch how you treat your partners, loved ones, and close friends. The Full Moon on June 27th can be a very strong dramatic turning point for us, as it is in Capricorn, the sign of completion and consequences, and is ruled by rule-maker Saturn. This Moon is closely joining Saturn the “Lord of Karma” during this time, and this can mean this lunation can have a strong sobering tone to it, so many folks might not feel quite like celebrating like usual under the Full Moon energy. But I say CELEBRATE anyway, there are many other Cosmic Connections happening which we can feel grateful for. This energy can help us gain clarity on our priorities and helps us realign with the energies of what is most meaningful to us in life. Which in turn, can help us focus on our jobs, relationships, and other pressing issues that need our attention.
All in all, June seems to be shaping up to help us see what we are supposed to be working towards, while we gain a very realistic view of the things we are doing in life. This can help us get ourselves more organized and right with what matters, and even though it may not be the most fun month of 2018, it can help us concentrate just enough on our responsibilities so we can play and enjoy our lives more so in the months to come.
