The NEW MOON forms on Monday, October 8, 2018, in the sign of Libra.

On Monday night, a New Moon occurs in the sign of the scales, Libra! This is a good time to commit yourself to personal goals that have to do with your relationships or partnerships, both personal and business. This exciting New Moon can be good for new beginnings of course, in old and new relationships both. If you are willing to extend an “olive branch” to someone, and maybe welcome back an estranged family member or friend back into your life, or even give love a second chance, this beautifully complex New Moon can help you! With Venus now in its Retrograde cycle, those we have loved often come back around for a second try, but that doesn’t mean it will necessarily stay together once the Retro cycle is over.

Under this energy, we have a chance to work on our negotiating skills without giving up our own needs or giving in to someone else only just to keep the peace or to make them happy. It’s a good time to work on balancing our relationships and to see our partners as our teammates rather than competition. Libra energy also helps us learn how to bring opposites together, but there’s always a fine line that we must not cross while learning how to make the effort to stay committed in our relationships, or we may end up acting dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage.

Under this potent Libra New Moon energy, we have an opportunity to make some important changes in our lives. Some of the lessons Libra teaches all of us involves learning how to make peace and restore harmony with those around us, and in our own environments. This helps us establish some order and create balance in our world. It is also important to see the value and worth of your partner, but that may not be as easy with Venus the ruler of relationships, (Libra’s ruling planet,) now in Retrograde, you may feel a little more cut off emotionally or reserved, but if you search your heart surely you will feel what is valuable. This New Moon brings in a fresh and creative energy into our lives, and more specifically, into our relationships. Our desire to balance out our personal relationships can feel very strong during this cycle. This can be a good time for negotiations because we are more able to assert ourselves and our needs in ways that don’t offend or upset others.

However, this New Moon forms a tense Square to powerful Pluto, which can add some drama and intensity to our already existing relationship issues. This also can bring up and out completely new problems related to power and control. At one point over the next three days or so you will more than likely have to deal with some sort of resistance from others as our personal dreams and goals might conflict or compete with our goals in our relationships.

Pluto is currently in the sign of Capricorn, which connects us to the element of Earth, so we want something real, solid, and tangible. Pluto often brings out power struggles and can have you feeling pressured during this time. The lesson with Pluto connecting to this New Moon, is to be able to see that it’s not so much about the results as the connections you have with others, and that your relationships are powerful perhaps and intense, but also make sure they bring about more positive feelings to you.

With Pluto involved, watch and safeguard your health and your relationships both during this time. Colds and feeling ran down are often symptoms from this influence. If you have any medical issues do everything in your power to change your habits and lifestyle to get healthier. You can be quite serious and passionate about kicking bad habits, especially when it comes to how you eat! It is believed that the effects of this New Moon on Oct 8 will last until November 7, when another New Moon will occur in the sign of Scorpio.

Luckily, Venus is also tied in to this New Moon and makes a harmonious Trine to Neptune in Pisces (healing energy,) this brings a degree of flexibility to the table, as long as we are compassionate and empathic to our own needs and in our relationships, once we can recognize our own vulnerabilities in someone else’s situation or behavior, we can be much more compassionate and kind. This is a reflection of ourselves, mirror-mirror on the wall kind of stuff! Ya know to be kind to others and they will be kind to you, Karmic ties and what you put out will come back to you good, bad, or indifferent.

Full Moon Ahead!

There’s a beautiful Full Moon building up energy that will come together on Sunday, August 26, in the sign of the fish, Pisces. There are also at least five other more harmonious planet connections around the same time, and they are aligning with a couple of fortunate Stars! Under these Cosmic influences, it should be a good time to learn how to develop your own intuition and psychic abilities. Find some tools to assist you, like gemstones that activate the third eye or special oils to wear for example. All of these tools can assist you during the Full Moon and help you work with the energies. And often just lighting a candle, holding your favorite gemstone, while writing down what you wish to release or let go of can work the best.

Ask the Universe to help you develop and expand your own special unique gifts and talents. Did you know we all have our very own set of gifts, some folks are aware of them and might call themselves an Empath, Psychic, or Clairvoyant? But all of those labels are just how you connect to the Universe and its energies, really. If you are one who isn’t aware of your special psychic gifts you might be blocked up in some way due to learning how to survive life and simply not remembering that they are part of your very own spirit.

A lovely “Grand Trine” in Earth signs will be coming together on August 25, this lovely aspect is when the Sun in Virgo, Saturn in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus all work together. This energy can help us stay very grounded, practical, and stable. But this energy can also make you feel almost too grounded and sort of heavy, this will pass quite quickly. On August 26, the Full Moon will mesh well with this Grand Trine energy. Finally, there’s a shift and things start to make sense again, and any doors or windows that were closed will start be opening!

This particular Full Moon is great for working with our finances and for making money, or just seeing some dreams come true. Some folks will get the answers they have been looking for and there’s going to be some exciting opportunities for both personal and professional successes that can help you set up some kind of financial security for your future. A whole lot of folks are already actively looking and applying for new jobs this month and this will help a lot of you find new work which brings in a stronger sense of security.

Pay attention and look for the opportunities that present themselves over the last week of August, as this Full Moon in Pisces can help you improve something about yourself, or in your important relationships, and in life in general. The success will probably come through these new opportunities that will eventually turn into wealth and security!

This energy is amazingly strong for attracting all kind of prosperity. So make sure to Set Intentions, make out wish lists, or do some kind of ritual around this Full Moon, and call it in!! I highly suggest starting soon so you can do some sort of daily ritual to call in this energy to you, just do something proactive to draw money to you! I do suggest, however, that you start working with this energy during the time when the Moon is increasing in light, rather than decreasing in light. So you will want to start from the New to the Full Moon, which if you are reading this on August 21st, is from now until the Full Moon. This way, when you plant your seeds of intention, they can begin to sprout and as the light increases slowly until it becomes a Full Moon, and so will the energy of your wishes!

A Look Ahead!
The day after the Full Moon, we will see fiery Mars goes direct.
It’s been Retrograde for months now, everyone is going to feel this shift in energy, and it can be either very positive or a very strong hit so to speak, so pay attention because big things are happening folks! As Mars slows down it’s going to stir people up, and some of the people are going to feel their emotions in an unhinged sort of way, and that can bring something to an end! Expect for folks to let out their pent-up anger and frustrations. Some of you may really want to start a fight of some kind, so watch for confrontations from out of the blue, they could get super serious fast. Our emotions have been suppressed or stuffed away for a while now and let all that out could easily be blamed on the upcoming Full Moon on Sunday and it’s build up this week.

But a lot of the cause for the anger is actually Mars coming out of Retrograde, and really us being able to finally express ourselves, it’s like deflating a balloon. It’s the calm before the storm, as this explosive energy can come out with a bang and then a strong sense of calm will wash over you afterward. Mercury the planet of communication, ruler of our thinking processes turns direct, and a plan will finally start to come together! Now is the time to incorporate all that you’ve have learned during its Retrograde cycle, so if you have been thinking about or reviewing something important since July 25th (or a few weeks prior), when Mercury turned Retrograde, and you have used this time wisely now you can proceed with fewer obstacles and get on the right path, because you are informed and have a more realistic understanding about where you stand and what you need to be doing in order to be successful. The first NEW MOON of 2018 is on January 17th!
We have been under some heavily saturated energy in Capricorn with six planets now in the sign at the same time. This is very focused energy that has challenged us to take charge of our lives and make a commitment to taking some sort of action.

Capricorn is an Earth Sign and is ruled by Saturn and is represented by the “Seat Goat.” This is a powerful time to manifest and build something with much potential. Our intentions can actually be realized and seen, so we should remain aware of what energy we’re drawing into ourselves and our world. You might be feeling some pressure now to make decisions and be at a crossroads of some kind. The secret to reaching goals is to have trust and faith in something, but especially in yourself. Don’t let fear lead the way, it takes away your motivation and then you won’t make commitments to reach your goals.

The sign of Capricorn teaches us about Authority, so it knows all about fear and control. “Setting Intentions with the NEW MOON”

There’s a New Moon occurring in Sagittarius, on December 18th, 2017, which makes this the best time of the month to set some powerful intentions around your future goals with the Universe and work a little magic!

*Setting Intentions*
During a New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting seeds of intention from our heart and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to be grateful for what we have and work on manifesting what energy we want to come in next. What I mean by that is we can create whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, love…it doesn’t really matter, but we have to do some things to make it really happen. And no not everything you want is going to just magically appear.

But at least by “Setting Intentions” with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to begin heading down and that’s a start. Then the energies will begin to line up to get you there.

The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of beginnings when you can recharge goals or set new ones. During the New Moon, we often experience an “energy shift.”

Here are some ideas on what to Manifest under a New Moon:

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.
2. Share your intention with someone in a supportive way, and who will be encouraging.
3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.
4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would, and then take the next step.

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source, Guides, Angels, etc), and ask the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to be patient and simply allow the time needed, things don’t always happen right away, but we can get taken down certain paths to find our way to what it is we’re looking for… and sometimes magic just happens.

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the New Moon?

Follow the Steps below to learn how:
Step One: Clear your sacred space

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do New Moon work in. You’ll simply be calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some sage or Incense and clear the energies. Next close your eyes and breathe deeply … and call upon your guides, Angels, or higher power in and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill it up with the energy of love and light. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it.

Step Two: Set the atmosphere

Set the mood for your “New Moon” Ritual and again burn some special incense, light some candles (and colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be very different for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever colors or tools that make you feel calm, centered, happy, and peaceful.
Step Three: Setting Intentions

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Think about where you’re going to do all this work at, because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair, because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot.

Now write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life and be detailed.

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about … for example; ask what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now, and what do you want to create? Think about your long-term goals and future and what you’d like that to look like over the next month. Be careful about focusing on the how, why, and when of your goals, focus more on what it is you’re wanting and how you want to feel. Let the Universe take care of the rest.

Step Four: Visualize

It’s time to visualize what you’ve written. Close your eyes and take long deep breaths, so through your nose and out your mouth. The last Mercury Retrograde of 2017 will be in effect from December 3rd through December 22nd, 2017.

Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even though it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we can have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde is that time out, it’s an opportunity to get caught up with life, it’s a time to unplug and take a long deep breath. It’s a good time to take time off from work if at all possible, and focus on reworking anything that needs to be done. Mercury rules over our lower mind and those energies, so when it’s in a Retrograde cycle we start to perceive things in a very different way.

Mercury in Retrograde, like all Retrograde plants, is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new Astrological fad. Planets have always gone into Retrograde cycles and will continue to. So every once in a while we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Retrogrades cycle does is help us to breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to understand as this Retrograde takes a hold is that it’s a time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to re-search, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.

– Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved, usually start this process two weeks prior to the actual Retro Cycle.
– Reorganize your daily life routines.
– Declutter.
– Reflect and practice spiritual work.
– Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what no longer is working especially in your intimate relationships.

There can be positive things that come from a Mercury in Retrograde cycle that you just didn’t think about before. Like throwing out the old and organizing our lives. Stay focused on more past opportunities and reconsider them now, see if they’re still an option, and try to let go of any computer glitches or electronic snafus you might be experiencing.

Mercury is currently in the sign of Sagittarius and this is strong, wild energy. Therefore we will be in for some wild twists and turns along the way as our big ideas come out in the open. Venus will shift and join Mercury and the Sun in Sagittarius on Saturday.

Venus rules over what we value, love, and often our money. Under joyous Sagittarius, we all can feel (no matter what Zodiac sign), like enjoying ourselves, as we have much more courage to play! We also find ourselves feeling much more appreciative of the opportunities that seem to show up, no matter how big or small. Being under this over the top energy we tend to share much more of ourselves with others, and our mentality leans more towards sharing.

Venus can be quite lucky in Sagittarius, as this influence allows doors to open in the areas of love, relationships, and around finances. Hearts are open wide and possibilities for money is strong. Remember a ‘Full Moon’ disperses a lot of energy, and that energy pours into each and every one of us. Whatever is going on with your mind, body and spirit will certainly be felt much stronger during a ‘Full Moon’, and our emotions can seem extremely intense. A ‘Full Moons’ energy is very powerful, so it’s important to know where you’re directing it. You can start by staying focused on positive intentions from your heart. Which means being real and authentic with yourself.

If you spend even a short amount of time upon waking and before going to sleep, visualizing what you truly desire, or on what’s good or positive in your life while being thankful for your blessings…it can be magical! Remember “the attitude of gratitude.”

For example, write a gratitude list and some thank you notes to the Universe. Take walks and take in the beauty that is around you. Look in a mirror and say positive affirmations to yourself, (yes this really works.) You could even make a Vision Board with pictures that represent your goals, it can be the actual goal or the word that represents your dreams and wishes, place them on a cork board, make a collage…and hang it up on a wall, where you can see it every day. This puts you in a constant state of awareness and helps bring the energies of you want to you. When you spend time focusing on your dreams and goals, or Setting Intentions as it’s called, during the ‘Full Moon’ it can give you an energy boost!

4. Practice Meditation alone or with others.

The ‘Full Moon’ pours out so much energy, that meditating during one can create a calm and still energy that is profoundly strong. Finding a sacred space to practice meditation can help tremendously. There’s a lot of groups that meditate during a ‘Full Moon’, so look for spiritual groups, centers, or online groups that come together to meditate. It can be very powerful healing and manifest work.

5. Send others blessings, be of service, practice acts of kindness.

Having this powerful energy at your disposal makes a ‘Full Moon’ the opportune time to pay it forward! Send healing energies, forgiveness, white light and energy out… out to everyone, you can think of, including strangers. Send loving and kind energy to your friends and family. Then go deeper and send peaceful energy out to the world (which we need more than ever), think of the places in the world that are experiencing strife, hardships, poverty, or war. This can open doors for those who are in need.

Starting October 10, 2017,
Jupiter shifts out of Libra and into the sign of Scorpio starting Oct 10, 2017. This brings in a whole new energy that we get to experience for the next year. Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion, and good fortune, and yes it does directly affect all of us.

Jupiter will take a new turn into a place it hasn’t been in 12 years.
