Lunar Eclipse

The Holiday Eclipse Season is officially underway, and it often brings important life-changing energies into our lives. Eclipses always bring endings and new beginnings. The influence from an Eclipse can last up to a month or more after its peak, and some folks may have to deal with its side effects for up to a year. Eclipses often shake things up in our lives to create much-needed changes. These energies can force us to do something different or uncomfortable to initiate changes. 

A long time ago, many Astrologers and religious leaders believed that Eclipses created bad luck, especially for those in power or authority figures.

Eclipse Season kicks off with a Lunar Eclipse that occurs on November 19. There are always two Eclipses back to back, a Lunar & Solar one. 

The Nov. 19 Lunar Eclipse is in the sign of Taurus and occurs at 3:57 AM EST, 2:57 AM CST. This energy is strong and potent because a Lunar Eclipse is basically triple the energy of a Full Moon. So it can be extremely intense and difficult to handle for some people. 

During a Lunar Eclipse, we see truths come to light, which has already begun. It’s like taking truth serum. Since we are smack in the middle of Scorpio Season and under the influence of a Scorpio Stellium (3 or more planets in the same sign) involving Mars and Mercury, it’s truth-telling time when lies, secrets, repressed feelings, both hidden or denied, are revealed. 

This Eclipse energy is all over us throughout the rest of the year. As information randomly shows up, endings are also very possible. The Scorpio influences were under are ruled by Pluto, which represents endings, transformation, death, and rebirth. So these themes will play out in our lives, as we are already experiencing.  Eclipse Season, we tend to see the souls who are at peace with their lives, and are ready to leave, crossover. 

The second Eclipse is a Solar Eclipse that occurs on December 4 in the sign of Sagittarius. Solar Eclipses are just the opposite of a Lunar Eclipse and often bring new beginnings. Solar Eclipse can feel draining, but ultimately can revitalize and recharge us after they peak, as we receive interesting downloads of information and learn new and valuable information. 

The Holiday Eclipses mark the beginning of eight Eclipses that fall in the Signs of Taurus and Scorpio over the next two years. The fixed signs of the Zodiac, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius, both Sun & Rising Signs, will be most affected by these energies, but we all can feel them in one way or another. These energies are profoundly strong but can often be felt in subtle ways, so you’ll learn what part of your life they affect over time. 

If you’re into Astrology and know how to look up your Chart info, look for where Taurus and Sagittarius are in your Personal Birth Chart, and the House they’re transiting, and what it represents. That part of your life that will be the most affected. 

This November Lunar Eclipse may present us with more challenging energy than usual because of the other Cosmic connections between planets occurring simultaneously. At least don’t make any decisions or draw conclusions until it’s over. Gather information during this time and see all that you learn first. 

The Solar Eclipse on December 4 will be quite interesting because it connects to the United States Astrology Chart. (Every country, state, and even city in the world has its own birthday and an Astrology Birth Chart!) 

Solar Eclipses bring powerful and potent energies into our lives. The December Solar Eclipse comes along with the New Moon, so it’s an excellent time to Set Intentions with the Universe. Make your hopes, dreams, and wishes known. Get your thoughts out of your head and heart and written down, and make some magic happen! 

The United States and the Eclipses 

On December 4, the Solar Eclipse falls at 12 degrees in the sign of Sagittarius. This placement is interesting because the United States Ascendant or Rising sign is also at 12 degrees of Sagittarius. This conjunction is potent for the United States. 

The Holiday Eclipses of 2021 won’t be nearly as destructive as ones in the past, but they still can shake things up quite a bit. This influence will continue through June of 2022. There will be many endings and chapters closing and new beginnings initiated after the Eclipse occurs. 

FYI – Anyone who celebrates a birthday on the day before or after an Eclipse tends to have important major events for 12 months afterward.

Eclipse Season – How to Handle it!

Eclipse Season!

We are in “Eclipse Season”, and a Lunar Eclipse occurs on January 10th, 2020.

Eclipses of the Sun and the Moon tend to shake things up and bring in powerful changes. Sometimes the changes that take place during an Eclipse may not be what you’d like or expect, but before you make any decisions or judgments wait for things to settle down first and after the Lunar Eclipse occurs and see how you feel.

Many of you are trying to get too much done right now, and without much time, money, or energy. And you’ve depleted your energy and it’s low, so don’t overdo anything as we enter into “Eclipse Season.” There might be something that comes up during the Eclipses that you will have to pay extra close attention too, so you’ll need the extra time. So again I repeat don’t overdo anything right now! And during this particular Eclipse Season lots of folks are getting sick or falling ill. Keep your immune system strong.

Everyone feels the Eclipses on some level, if they understand it or not. For some folks, it may not affect them directly but more indirectly, where you have to help the other people in your life because they’re having a hard time, so you could end up spending this “Eclipse Season” lending a helping hand. And then the rest of us could have issues or challenges we have to work through, and hopefully, the favor is returned and we get a little help from our friends when we are down.

This Lunar Eclipse coming together in January can reveal something that’s been hidden or kept secret. It can be a personal issue that you’ve been trying to hide, but also global issues have already started to come out. If for whatever reason you’re trying to hide something, or keep secrets be careful because Full Moon’s are truth-telling time and a Lunar Eclipse just amplifies that energy even more, so basically whatever is being hidden could come out this week! As these Eclipses come together the Universe sends out very subtle or sometimes strong messages, and these messages can be a reality check of some kind. So be on the lookout in the next week or so for signs, symbols, and dreams about what is coming to light.

Want to know the best way to handle “Eclipse Season”, here are some helpful hints.

*Get some Rest, The body takes a lot of energy on during an Eclipse, it transforms us on a deep cellular level which means our DNA moves around, and as we begin to download information from the Eclipses (mostly unconscious) this energy can be exhausting for all of us.

*Don’t allow yourself to get involved in others drama, mind your business. The lunar activity can make folks feel pretty crazy anyway, so Eclipses really can cause some of us to get ramped up and become frustrated, and anxiety-ridden. Then, in turn, you can take out your fears on everyone else. Stay away from the negativity period! We absorb the energies we continue to be around, good, bad, or indifferent.

*Nurture yourself during Eclipse Season. This is about taking care of your total well-being. You need to stay as balanced as possible because Eclipses can make us feel like we’re in an energetic rat race. With energy pushing and pulling on us.

*Meditate daily and get connected to your Spirit, Mind, and Body..
*Eat balanced meals and don’t grab junk in a hurry. Go organic and drink lots of extra water right now.

*Journal daily, it’s therapy, seriously just try it! Write about how your feeling and what you desire in life. This can also help you keep up with any signs or messages you might be seeing, and it may help you build a more personal relationship with the Universe.

*Exercise and burn off some steam, this will help you keep all that nervous energy under control, and it can help you stay balanced.

*Connect to Nature – get outdoors and take a walk daily, or perhaps go to the park, just do something that’s physically active.

*Play music and lift your mood, or something relaxing. Music is so good for the Soul. Make sure and stay away from sad or angry music or movies. The point is to raise your vibration and not bring it down.

*Wear Gem Stones of any kind that make you feel good, they will raise your vibration and can aid you. Stones tend to help us feel relaxed and calmer and keep you grounded. Learn more about the healing qualities of the Stones if you don’t know.

*Get away from all the negative media, because during Eclipse Season it’s always just full of more sad and tragic events happening in the world. Things happen during Eclipses, and as I said it shakes us up. While there can be some great stuff going on in the world as well, the news and social media seldom report it. We can get flooded with lower vibrational negative news and information. Eclipse Season has already begun, so unplug! Block negative media and other drama on Facebook and surround yourself with positive open-minded people, groups, and pages.

Remember Eclipses can be a good thing too, they can deliver messages from the Cosmos that we need to hear or see. Thisall can be extremely revealing, so we can make decisions that make our lives better in some way.

“Eclipse Season” started in December of 2019, with the Solar Eclipse in Capricorn. Now here in a just a short time the Lunar Eclipse occurs on January 10 in Cancer.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse
For All Signs Of The Zodiac 

The Moon is Full in the sign of Capricorn on July 16, 2019, and it’s a partial Lunar Eclipse. It comes together around 4:39 PM CST, 5:39 PM EDT.  The Eclipse occurs when the Moon in Capricorn opposes the Sun in Cancer.

This is an especially potent Full Moon, being its a Partial Lunar Eclipse, so our focus turns towards our relationships under this lunation. But also our work and family lives. 

Eclipses create the energy of crisis in our lives, and often they bring up what we are lacking. This is a time when we can suddenly realize there’s something missing, perhaps a need or want we can’t seem to fulfill. This Eclipse can actually split some relationships up, but it also brings folks together. Suddenly, we may realize that there’s a need to have other folks around helping support us. This is also about making sure the foundation of our soul tribe of friends and family is strong. But Lunar Eclipses are not always about relationships, they can also bring up certain needs in other areas of our life, such as our relationship to our work, or to our health and bodies, it really can be about anything. The Full Moon lights up our deeper feelings that have been just sitting below the surface to be dealt with. 

Under the Full Moon, we can be very emotional and express ourselves without warning. This is a time when some folks will claim out loud what they are really about and what they want in life. We are reacting from a strong but illogical emotional place. Lunar Eclipses are stronger and more potent than a normal Full Moon, so its effects can last up to about six months after it occurs. 

Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and are oppositions, this time around the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Capricorn are bumping against one another. So we must take a closer look at our needs, lacks and wants in our lives and create a balance around what we should be working on. This Full Moon is about our personal private lives, our need for a secure home base, and how we nurture ourselves. The other side of this energy is our public life, careers, reputations, and how we take responsibility. Being attached and love is ruled by Cancer, while our success and rewards and punishments are ruled by Capricorn energy, this polarity deals with balancing unconditional and conditional love. The Cancer energy involved encourages us to value our home life and that foundation, as well as our roots, while the Capricorn energy wants us to consider our sense of duty and responsibility along with our professional lives. Cancer energy is about being content with being dependent, Capricorn wants us to grow the hell up and take responsibility! Cancer energy also represents the beginning and where we come from, and Capricorn is about the goals we set. Ideally, setting some sort of balance between these two energies is what the Full Moon is asking us to do.

This Full Moon is helping us learn how to strike a balance between our commitments to our work and families both. As we’ve been holding onto something emotionally that’s very important, as the Cosmos is reminding us via the Full Moon that it’s still there to let out and express how we are feeling, so these issues to be released. Hopefully, over time we’ll have all the information we need to better understand what all of this means.  

The Full Moon energy brings up an inner conflict to be dealt with, and it can prove difficult to sit with such strong feelings, so we need to find ways to express them. This causes that crisis situation, as some kind of sudden awareness around what we are lacking in our life usually comes up! This is an opportunity to figure out what we need. So during this highly emotionally charged time, our relationships can be challenging, and either broken or dramatically made even stronger. We also may experience some kind of major Ah-Ha moments or epiphanies. This leads us to learning more about what we don’t have and taking some actions to obtain it. 

Full Moons and especially Lunar Eclipses bring up issues in our lives to finish something. Our emotions are stronger than usual and there’s often some sort of drama involved around whatever part of our own personal Astrology Birth Chart the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse is cruising through. That’s the area of our life that the Cosmos is pushing us to make much-needed changes in. There can be some serious drama in whatever part of our life this Eclipse is going through. So a path is often revealed to us, so we can move towards it and make things better, if we understand it or not, it is trying to align us with our true Soul Journey, as our life destiny is at play. Usually, these issues are something we’ve been sitting on or ignoring, so our emotions have been building, and this Eclipse helps us realize they are still there, we just haven’t chosen to work through them yet. The Full Moon’s light and energy draw them out into the open, so if we get in touch with our emotions we can get a much more clear idea about what actually needs to be done or changed and let go of.

The Lunar Eclipse occurring in the sign of Capricorn sets off our inner awareness about the flaws in the structures we’ve built in our lives, especially in our careers and involving our home and family life. So there are serious decisions that need to be made to fix things. This Lunar Eclipse is a powerful one with confrontational energy, because it’s making a conjunction to psychological and powerful Pluto, and is opposite Mercury (now in Retrograde). This brings out intense emotional reactions compulsive behavior, and of course, power struggles around crisis situations, so this can be quite a complicated time, as there’s a stronger need to do something, it can cause us to feel a sense of urgency. Take some time for yourself and try to relax while we get through this strong energy.

At least 2018 ended on more of a quiet note astrologically. But January is going to be complex as it starts off with a Solar and Lunar Eclipse. And passionate Mars just entered in its own sign of fiery Aries on the last day of 2018, where it feels at home, so its power is boosted by this influence. This can have us feeling more spontaneous, forward-thinking, and even courageous during its run! There’s a competitive spirit in the air and our goal is to win! So take it easy and make sure to slow yourself down from time to time, and check yourself about what you’re actually doing. Avoid being overly impulsive or you can make mistakes or get involved in accidents during Mars transit in the sign of Aries.

Mental Mercury enters more stable Capricorn on the 5th of January, and this slows down the way we process information, as our thinking becomesmore methodical. We tend to be more focused, sober, and practical during this time. One trait we certainly can use is how much easier it is to concentrate ontasks at hand under this influence. Conversations are more realistic and focused, especially on business and more practical matters. People seem to have more sound reasoning skills, but we must be careful about being narrow-minded, cold, cut-off, and not having a sense of humor at least every once in awhile. 

The Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Capricorn also occurs on January 5th, and it is between the planets Saturn and Pluto. This New Moon Eclipse is unusual since the Sun and Moon are surrounded by Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto. This Capricorn Stellium as its called has more power with the Moon’s South Node, which means old ways, and patterns of behavior may come up. This is a complicated New Moon, with all these different influences at play. Even though conservative Capricorn might want things to be more constructive. But at least we value the importance that things take time under these influences, which helps us to be more patient in most any situation. Saturn rules Capricorn and is often thought to rule over time! 

The planet Uranus the “divine messenger” of the Cosmos turns direct on January 6th after five months of being in Retrograde, and what a time this was. This planet affects us so strongly, so it’s really worth learning where it is placed in your own personal Birth Chart and where it is cruising through your Chart now! As Uranus gains speed in the coming weeks ahead, our urge to express ourselves in a more creative and unique way becomes more evident. It’s a time to take some chances or risks and for rebellion. We are going to be able once again to listen to your own instincts, but we also can stir up some serious changes that re-awaken us on a deep level. We now will begin to see more clearly, so we can make necessary changes for ourselves and the world, and we won’t be just sitting around waiting to play victim while changes are suddenly thrust upon us, so we feel like we have some more control. The only issues are Uranus remains in hot-headed Aries through March time and that will continue to spark us up and cause lots of interesting changes and crazy weather as well. 

Venus the planet of Love and often associated with money will move into the sign of enthusiastic Sagittarius on January 7th. This is a strong romantic energy that shifts us from feeling intense to cheerful and lively! This Sagittarius influence, of course, has its own intense feeling moments, considering it is a Fire Sign. But this energy is just way less focused then what we’ve been dealing with during Venus in Scorpios time, which had us way more focused on intimacy with just one person. Hopefully, you have learned more about the folks in your life and discovered who you can trust, now you will be ready for this new Sagittarius love fest energy to come in and meet new people and seek out more fun experiences. Sagittarian love or energy for all of us is way more open and free, it’s a universal kind of love, it’s a free for all! So you will be free for a while to love anyone and everyone from this earthly plane and beyond. Enjoy it while it lasts, lots of boundaries are going to be crossed while Venus is in Sagittarius! Venus will be in Sagittarius until February 3rd.

On Jan. 13th, excitable Jupiter forms a tense connection to foggy Neptune, this is the first in a set of three meetings, with the other two happening in June and September, and this can cause struggles with our expectations, faith, and dreams.  We may be deceived more easily under this influence, whether by others or just our own unrealistic or high expectations. We may have to deal with certain consequences that come from being disorganized, extravagant, neglectful, or from some sort of exaggeration. This tends to make folks feel more restless, and routines are not as satisfying. This is a time when we can take a break or maybe detoured from our more practical paths into something much different, so pay attention folks! We are more easily disillusioned by something or even someone, so we need to be more careful about ignoring things altogether, only to later start justifying some sort of new opinion, belief, or philosophy for our behavior just to avoid certain situations or responsibilities. There also will be a lot more wandering, as it can be hard to feel grounded while this is in play for the week of Jan 13th and then again later on in June and September. We also might have issues with setting healthy boundaries for ourselves. There will be a need to ground ourselves back to Earth! If we can stick to certain routines, and remain more disciplined than those set rhythms can help counteract this tendency. Spiritual inspiration is also strong because we can let go of old false beliefs, expectations, and behaviors.

Also around this time, Jupiter is forming a challenging connection to rebellious Uranus, which just reinforces our feelings of restlessness if our dreams are no longer fulfilling us or are not a source of inspiration anymore. This is a time where we go out on little adventures that are totally impractical or unusual tangents, only to realize we can’t finish what we want, there’s not a lot of staying power under this influence. 

The Full Moon occurs on Monday, January 21, 2019, in the very first degree of Leo and it’s also a Total Lunar Eclipse. This is about achieving something! There will be a stronger sense of urgency, that’s exciting and it can make us feel somewhat anxious. This can cause us to feel a crisis around lack, it’s a time when we suddenly might realize there is a greater need or want when matters seem to come to light that has been beneath the surface. The Full Moon is a time of truth and this means we have a stronger desire to gain knowledge, but couple that with the Eclipses intensity and this makes for a highly charged up energy. With the Full Moon in the sign of dramatic Leo, we get an opportunity to tap into our pride, as our instincts around survival are stronger than usual, so we tend to be more observant of others. We value others opinions and know our reputation is important during this time. There is also a challenging connection between game-charger Uranus, the planet of uncertainty, which can cause rebellious behavior but this energy also brings about change and opportunity.

The Full Moon each month is always a good time to bring back some sort of balance in your life, as it magnifies already existing problems to sort through, which is why folks feel so highly emotional during a Full Moon! During January’s Full Moon the Sun in Aquarius will just have started and will meet up with the Moon in Leo, so we are working on striking a balance between focusing on our personal pleasures and our need to help our community. This is a time of enlightenment that brings an opportunity to explore our emotional needs, which can lead to positive actions and decisions. Full Moons also raise our awareness around the little flaws in our romantic relationships, and often in our relationships with our children. So there can be a sense of urgency or sudden need or desire to express ourselves, it’s a strong compulsion to come to a resolution of a problem. This is a time when there are often final word or decisions made.

With mental Mercury entering the sign of Aquarius on January 24th certain situations become more impersonal, as our minds are more capable and help us move through our earthly routines and patterns. This will also help us to better process our feelings that are a direct result from problems that have occurred during the past month or so, especially around relationships and the Eclipse energies. This energy helps us to mentally detach long enough to take care of business and rectify any damaging problems we have been involved in if we can get our head out of the clouds long enough to focus. Remember under this energy reality is sometimes blurred a bit if we don’t keep our feet on the ground. But we also can experience waves of Ah-Ha moments and epiphanies that can be full of some amazing stuff! So pay attention, and write your thoughts and feelings down often during this time.

On the 31st of January, another outer planet is making a strong meeting that influences us through much of 2019! Saturn makes a rather harmonious connection to dreamy Neptune, in what’s called a sextile. With Saturn’s discipline bringing structure or meaning to our dreams and ideals this can be the stuff dreams are made of! Neptune brings in the energy of acceptance and devotion which can help bring new meaning to our work, traditions, and customs. This makes it easier to enjoy a feeling a sense of purpose in our lives, we feel more spiritual plugged in and like our material world is harmonizing together with our spirit. Our attitude and circumstances just happen to help us follow through on our dreams and turn our visions and ideals into reality! This influence helps us to combine our imaginations and effort which can bring about success. There can be a stronger sense that our dreams can be a reality, and therefore, we can build a stronger faith and acceptance into our world.

“Time To Take A Look Within”- August 2018 Forecast

August of 2018 is starting out on an interesting note being smack in the middle of Eclipse Season. The two July Eclipses are behind us now, but there is a third Eclipse – New Moon on August 11 that can change our plans a bit. The atmosphere is still highly charged up by the Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27. I will have much more on this later.

But on August 2 we’re dealing with Mars Squaring Uranus! This Square is super powerful and it’s the second one in a series of three, therefore this energy will continue to play out through the end of September. Mars is Retrograde, which causes more frustrations than usual. And with Mars being so close to the planet Earth right now, it’s actually closer than its been in years, so its influence is increased on our lives. This has already brought a lot of fiery energy into our lives, and some folks may feel like they are at a fever pitch! But before you lose your cool, there is a beautiful Trine forming between Jupiter and Neptune that can help us let go of any anger or resentments we have.

Our minds are quite focused on expressing ourselves more directly and effectively, with Mercury in Retrograde in the sign of Leo, as we look for attention from others. Under this influence, worrying is definitely boring, because our focus in on enjoying life, need I remind you Mercury is Retrograde, and this means we may be worrying as well, especially about our children and relationships. While Mars Squares Uranus the first past of August, you should be extra careful about acting impulsive. Soon after, there’s a Trine connection between Saturn and surprising Uranus, which makes this an ideal time to make some positive changes in our lives. Check yourself and stay focused, as you slowly work towards your long-term goals. This influence can help keep your mind distracted long enough so you may be calm and even patient, then you can plan out things accordingly.

With so many planets moving backward during the month of August, it certainly can be exhausting and intense feeling at times. There’s Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto all Retrograde now, along with Chiron, and soon Uranus will be in Retrograde on August 7. This High Retrograde Season means we are more vulnerable and in a subjective place, as ideas are just being developed. But it can be difficult to be patient with the Sun in Leo pushing us to get into the spotlight!

There’s a partial Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11th that will be visible in Northern Europe and North Eastern Asia. This is the third and final Eclipse of this Eclipse season! The Solar Eclipse will mainly be influenced by a connection being made to Mercury while in Retrograde, the main themes will be around thinking, worrying, self-expression, contemplation, discussions, and debates. Watch what you are expressing and verbalizing during that time.

This New Moon Eclipse in the Sign of Leo on August 11th is conjunct or connecting to the asteroid “Pallas-Athena”, and the planet of ideas and communication, Mercury, which is making a tense Square to Jupiter in Scorpio, she is the speaker of our highest and deepest truth! Pallas-Athena is a warrior goddess and can help us find more peaceful ways to resolve disputes due to her feminine wisdom and ability to see overreaching patterns. Currently, her vision is effectively stronger than Jupiter’s, which is in the sign of Scorpio, so this influence has kept our perspective more closed off than usual.

Back on July 25th Mercury went into Retrograde, and on August 18 Mercury will be out of its Retrograde cycle officially, but we still may have to deal with the AFTER Shadow period for about two weeks, so through the first week of September. This is going to open up many doors of opportunity because now we can sign those contracts and start new jobs, and maybe fall in love with whomever we want, at least until Venus goes Retrograde in October, yea I know lol, but life will get moving once again at the end of August.

There is also a beautiful water Trine between Jupiter and Neptune on August 19th, this will be the third and final meeting in this series. The aspect has helped us find more positive perspectives during a very difficult time with all the planets in Retrograde, it’s promoted spiritual growth and will continue to do so through the end of September, as it allows us to release the past.

The Sun enters the earthy sign of Virgo on the 23rd. This helps us to get more grounded and stable as we prepare for the Full Moon. The Sun in Virgo brings in a more sensible way of thinking, as we are more hands-on, you can greatly benefit over the next month once this starts by living simply and being more practical. The Sun in Virgo will also be harmonizing with Uranus and Saturn which are both in Earth Signs forming an amazing Grand Trine in Earth Signs. Regarding our health, pay special attention to your intestinal and digestive issues because Virgo the Virgin rules these areas of the body.

On August 26th, there will be a Full Moon in the sign of Pisces. The brings fantasy and reality together, the spiritual and the material blend, even though these things are completely opposite of each other, boundaries come down and lines get blurred which means separating one from the other will be difficult.  Because this lovely combination of Pisces energy is creative and magical, this energy will bring in a strong harmonious influence. This Full Moon is a time to take the negative patterns and behaviors and balance ourselves out. July has been an intense month on the Astrological front lines, with Mercury going Retrograde on July 25, and a Full Blood Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27, it’s about to get intense folks! A Blood Moon is extremely potent and its effects are stronger than a normal Full Moon because a Total Lunar Eclipse always follows and stirs up lots of activity and emotions.

A Full Blood Moon has nothing to do with actual Blood! Even though life might be crazy during this time. It actually gets its name from the reddish hue it shines when the Earth and the Sun align and block the light of the Full Moon. Since ancient times Blood Moon’s have been labeled as a time of misfortune and chaos by very superstitious people. But more than likely it’s the hype that fed those rumors and created such fear that something bad was going to happen, so during these cycles, folks tend to get riled up and make poor choices. It is certainly a stressful energy we have to deal with, but it is what you make of it! In all actuality, we should be paying attention to the other planets and their connections to the Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse to see how it will affect us!

This Eclipse will be affected more so by the planet Mars, which means this cycle will make us feel extremely emotional charged! Mars influence can cause frustrations or even anger which could easily turn into reckless actions, because of a harsh connection Mars is making to game-changer Uranus also at the time of the Eclipse. So yes, this can mean problems, but there are ways to get around these energies and deal with them. Forewarned is forearmed as they say! Now there’s a more gentle influence from Saturn coming in also during this time, and this can help keep things more grounded and calmer. And there’s also some fixed stars influence as well that can help us to be more patient and decisive in a crisis, but they also can cause more aggression and emotional upheaval.

It is said that the Total Lunar Eclipse this July is the longest running Lunar Eclipse this century, which only make its influence more intensified.

This Lunar Eclipse turns our attention towards our feelings, home & family, and intimate relationships. So as potent as this illumination is, it’s going to have an incredibly powerful influence mostly on our private lives. We will only be one day into Mercury’s Retrograde cycle the day the Blood Moon comes together and this can make people feel very nervous. There’s a lot of folks who still fear the Eclipses so some of you will be hanging out close to home out of fear, but we really shouldn’t allow this energy to scare us!

This energy certainly has its challenges, and with that painful transformations are already happening to lots of people. The Eclipse is a hard reset like on a smartphone, and a rather large download of information we receive from the Universe like an Update, but for our souls! So if over the last six months or so, things in your life have been building up to crescendo you just can’t seem to handle this Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse can be a new beginning or a fresh start actually, please hang on tight you are about to breakthrough! Eclipses are turning points in our lives, and situations shift quickly without little warning, changes are everywhere right now, and sometimes we lose our footing during this time. Since we won’t be able to visibly see this Lunar Eclipse here in the States we might not be paying attention to when it’s happening and try to ignore its side effects, but this can catch you off guard by its unstable energies, because regardless if you can see it or not, it is happening and its energies will affect you.

Our emotions and passions will be in high gear during this particular Lunar Eclipse, and our anger can be more explosive, so waves of sadness and frustrations might feel more overwhelming, and our passions will be more powerful than normal, but also moments of pleasure and happiness can feel like nirvana! Admittedly, this is a rough time for us, however, there is a ray of hope as we go through this transformation and the side effects we are experiencing are just necessary growing pains as we go through this metamorphosis! I believe strongly we will come out different on the other end of this Eclipse Season, with information planted in our unconscious minds to be brought out and discovered, it is an interesting but exciting time folks!

If you feel like you are in a dark place and are just blind to what is going to happen next, we are in the time of Mercury and so many other planets in Retrograde, but just know the light will find you once again and you will eventually see a glimmer if you will while you are in this dark emotional place, so DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! Allow the peacefulness that comes from being in the dark and not so distracted to wash over you and do something spiritual, like write in a journal or take a nice Moon bath. Do something that makes you feel better when you are stressed out during this time, take extra care and nurture yourself. The Eclipse energy is hard on us, and we need to get lots of rest, eat right, and exercise during this time to be at our best to handle these powerful downloads that are about to come in.

Two weeks after this Lunar Eclipse occurs there will be a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11.

July of 2018 is going to be a month full of surprises, where the second half of 2018’s Eclipses will start to come together, these life-changing cycles arrive July 12 and July 27. So the pace won’t be as slow as it has been (thank goodness), but we are in the middle of Retrograde High Season with five Planets in the Cosmos including Chiron the “Wounded Healer” all in their Retrograde cycles. Throughout July, these planets will be making their backward reversals, and at the end of the month, mental Mercury jumps on the bandwagon also going Retrograde on the 25th. Even though we are ready to move forward, July is once again a time to slow down, retrace your steps and handle any left behind or unfinished business. All month long, energizer Mars, structured Saturn, dreamy Neptune, and transformational Pluto are moving in reverse, which puts our energy and motivation levels down into low gear. And did I mention Chiron the wounded healer as well, yep also Retrograde, to bring up and out all those deep-seated emotional wounds, this can trigger you to relieve some sort of painful experience from your past or at least FEEL the way you did during something that was traumatic or painful, but it’s meant to come up to work through and heal.

Venus the planet that rules over love lives, relationships, and often money enters the sign of Virgo on July 9th, this is a time when we express how we love through practical manners and gestures. So instead of sharing how we are feeling emotionally with the object of our affection, we tend to show our feelings through the actions we take by doing things that make our partners and loved ones happy and feel taken care of. Expect the ones you love to show you how they care for you in the little things they do such as running errands, doing some kind of detailed work, or just making sure they’re around to support you. Under Venus in Virgo love has to make some sort of sense and have a purpose. It’s all about being practical under this influence.

Jupiter is now at a standstill because it will come out of its Retrograde cycle on July 10th, and will continue to move forward in the sign of Scorpio. Our bigger plans could get moving a bit more at this point, we should use this influence to tap into our higher-self to find a space of wealth and spiritual power for the good of all. The shadow side of this cycle is we can become more greedy and lustful looking for wealth and power, which can lead to some folks taking advantage of others. Things like abuse, misuse, ill-treatment & unfair treatment, and oppression will be some of the negative sides of this influence, especially with Jupiter being the sign of the detective of the Zodiac! We can uncover some seriously disturbing truths during this time, so if you have done something wrong you might want to find a way to fix it or the truth will be shown, especially around the time when the Full Moon occurs.

Eclipse Season begins on July 12th, when a New Moon – Partial Solar Eclipse occurs in the sensitive sign of Cancer. This can cause a crisis in your self-esteem, and in your relationships or around an event. The Solar Eclipse is opposing powerful Pluto which is about making a transformation to help better yourself. To evolve your soul so you can live a better experience that’s more satisfying in this life. This transformational energy will be common in our close relationships, so with a close family member, friend, or partner.

Leo Season begins on July 22nd, this is when the Sun moves into the sign of Leo. During this time we will see some folks show their asses plain and simple, with ego trips and battles, but hopefully, it is also going to be a time when people express themselves from the heart in a more authentic way! This influence can help us feel more optimistic and confident, so we can make important contacts and strengthen bonds with our current tribe of folks we care for.

With mental Mercury, the planet of communication turning Retrograde in the sign of Leo from July 25th till August 18th, the drama is going to be quite strong! Mercury also rules over technology and travel, so you already know if you follow my blog posts, Mercury in Retrograde is a very confusing time where we see technical glitches and malfunctions occur all over the place. People tend to get confused easily and forget what they are talking about, so be patient with yourself and others, and if you travel expect delays!

The Full Moon comes together on July 27th, and will be in the sign of intellectual Aquarius and a Total Lunar Eclipse!
A Lunar Eclipse is a perfectly aligned “Supercharged” Full Moon! When the Earth’s shadow falls between the Sun and the Moon, this is typically the brightest lunation of the month, but it will be shadowed by darkness due to the Eclipse. As the lights go out, our shadows, secrets, and repressed feelings that might have seemed too big or scary to get our attention and expression come alive. Changes that have been occurring sort of behind the scenes and deep within ourselves are brought up and out to deal with first hand, and we can see significant changes and completions.

This Eclipse is highly influenced by Mars now in its Retrograde cycle. This turns this Full Moon into a highly emotionally charged Eclipse. Mars is the planet that rules over our passion, drive, and anger, so it is certainly a time to be cautious as this influence can easily cause reckless actions to be taken, because of another harsh aspect Mars is making to the planet of changes, Uranus during the Full Moon time things can get pretty wild folks! This will also be a strong turning point within the Mars Retrograde cycle and for all of us in one way or another. It is a time to be extremely vigilant and grounded. Think before reacting, think before speaking, don’t let your fuse get lit, because once it does it’s all over with.

Overall, July of 2018 will certainly not be a boring month, so we should take notes around what we want to accomplish but also move cautiously and slowly, as big changes are coming in, but if we pay attention and understand how the planets are influencing our lives, we can better navigate this time and hopefully make it a month to remember for the more positive outcomes. I am aware some of this sounds super scary but remember a few things if you come from your heart in all you do, then you will do much better. And some of these stronger influences just won’t be as harsh to deal with. Learn how to observe life and not always react, this will change the game completely for you!

Happy New Year! As you continue to make out your New Years resolutions, don’t forget to also ask the Universe to bring you what you wish for and desire in 2018. You may be curious about what actually might happen if you do simply ask the Universe for what it is you want or need and if your wishes will be granted!

When it comes to having an actual relationship with the Universe, you should remember that energy is always there, just waiting for you to take the next step, and that is Communicating! Relationships of all kinds don’t work and slowly crumble apart without some sort of communication. Take some time to talk to the Universe just like you do with a friend or family member. It just takes some getting used to when it comes to communicating with the Universe because it’s more of a subtle, intuitive kind of energy. Once you understand what their messages look and feel like there will be no denying that they are sending you direct messages.

Ask the Universe to show you a sign that you’re on the right path for 2018. Once you get a sign, however that looks, you’ll feel like your wishes are being heard and answered. And of course you’re not going to get everything you asked for right away, but in time the energies will show up in one way or another and wishes will be granted!

Everything happens for a reason! So if you feel like you’ve got a sign or message from the Universe then pay attention. Especially, if you start getting those messages or signs repeatedly, that’s a clear sign in itself that the Universe is trying to communicate something to you.

This is a funny scenario since it hits so close to home for me. But if someone is telling you that you should write a book, well that’s a nice compliment. But if someone else also suggests the same advice then there’s more to it. And if you should have another person bring it up, it’s time to get writing! Ha! (Note to Self)

The Universe sends us people or what I call “messengers” to show us our path and what we need to be doing on a Spiritual Level. There are signs coming at us actually all the time. It is all about how you view the world, as perception is everything! If you pay attention and are aware that the Universe is always expanding its awareness through you, you will actually see exactly what I am talking about. Be open to all the signs that are constantly coming at you, see the world as one giant message, sign, or symbol, and look at everything with a purpose, so everything you see, hear, or feel is a sign of some kind and you’ll start to get it!

January Full Moons
The New Year’s Full Moon just came together Monday evening, so if you haven’t set intentions yet I would be getting to it now!

The next Full Moon at the end of January will be a “Blue” Moon, which is mystifying and intense in itself! This particular Full Moon in Leo will also mark the beginning of “Eclipse Season!” This is going to be a preview of what the rest of the Winter Season will bring you. Usually about a month or so prior to an actual Eclipse, we will get signs or messages from the Universe, as Eclipses bring much-needed change and opportunities, and this is just about the time when we should start receiving those messages, as it’s about 30 days before the end of month when then Eclipse occurs!

The most important Astrological change this month actually is about the planet Uranus, which has now moved forward from its Retrograde cycle. It has been in Retro for a while now slowing everything down. On Monday afternoon, the Full Moon will come together when the Sun in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon is the peak or highest point of the Moon during its month long cycle, it’s an emotional energy and a time for romance, relationships, and fertilization. But it is also exciting feeling but tense in energy for all of us.

“The Full Moon is the time when your emotions come up to the surface for you to deal with them. If you work with them, you can clear yourself out energetically. The easiest way to do this is to make peace with the past during this time!”

This Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius helps us look at just how we are sharing our lives with others in all kinds of different relationships, be it the ones we have with loving partners or with a group of people in any part of our lives. The Full Moon’s energy is wise and truthful, so lies get told during this cycle and truths suddenly come out! It’s during this Lunar cycle that the night time is not even dark enough to hide our fears, hurts, emotional wounds, and flaws. This gives you the time to do life on your terms in your own way. Taking some time away or alone helps you figure out who you are, so in your relationships, you don’t lose yourself! Eventually, relationships where one person gives themselves totally away break apart in one way or another. This Eclipse wants you to balance out being who you are while being in your relationships.

This Full Moon is a partial Lunar Eclipse, and this is a very potent strong energy that mainly affects our relationships. And that means all types of relationships, not just the ones between two people. This influence can suddenly trigger us into thinking about our relationships and how we belong. So perhaps the relationships you have with your co-workers, or the relationship you have with your health and bodies, and so forth. It is a time when a matter comes to light, so all that is hidden, suppressed, secret, or unknown can suddenly come out to the surface. As we become aware our emotions can rise up and we can get very emotional like under any Full Moon, but this is an Eclipse which is a Full Moon but 10x stronger.

Eclipses cause an inner conflict around what we feel is lacking in our lives, so where are you in your life going without or what are you going without is the question, and especially in your relationships with a partner or in groups. You suddenly and without little warning may realize what it is you want or need under this influence. Our deepest desires seem to build up and this causes a conflict, so lots of folks are either cutting off people or are breaking up in relationships right now! But this means we also can become strongly aware of a need to keep someone in our life as well.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipses are about the relationships we have with others because it is the polarity between the Sun and the Moon and that influence we are feeling within ourselves, as the Sun represents Self and the Moon represents our Emotional Self and the Unconscious. This connection prompts us to take a look more closely at our own needs, desires, lacks, and what we want in our lives.
The Sun is in Leo (personal) currently and the Moon is in Aquarius (impersonal), during this Eclipse, so let’s break that down.

Leo energy is how we creatively express ourselves, and how we boost our ego enough to receive pleasure and experience romance. Aquarius energy is about the group so more impersonal friendships. This Full Moon helps us learn how to create the balance between these polar opposite signs within ourselves. So between experiencing romance and friendship, and being able to freely express ourselves both personally and impersonally. Evolving is funny like that, often what we want isn’t what we need to help us on our soul journey through life.

The way to handle this energy is to keep your heart open and don’t allow your mind or ego to make things worse. Because it can make you feel sad, confused, and even depressed! And then you start to focus on what is lacking, and negativity can set in. This takes you on a downward spiral and into the whole why or how you didn’t get something your heart wanted. This can make you angry and temper tantrums can occur. This does not solve your problems, it can drive you crazy and just makes you suffer.

Instead, it’s time to explore your heart and your options. Your heart wants other things that you don’t even know exist yet, things you haven’t even thought of! So it’s up to you to get on board and figure that out. So what’s your next wish or your next heart’s desire? Worrying and over thinking will only block you. But we are in a time where we might have to detach emotionally a little along this path to figure it all out. Patience is key.

There are going to be some challenges along this journey, with mental Mercury’s recent move into practical Virgo. This can have us hyper aware of the details and what we are lacking. So we can be more critical and analytical. If you don’t allow your mind to take over, and work on feeling what it is you want next, you will start to feel much better.

The Sun and Mars are both in Leo now, which means our hearts are strong. We are at the core of learning just how to obtain our hearts desires. This influence can help you get something you want and need. It just might be something different than what you had originally thought.

It’s time to stop thinking about what you don’t have or aren’t getting, and more on how you feel. Over the next few weeks we are detaching from whatever we wanted and by August 7th when the Lunar Eclipse occurs we will have done away with something or someone. It’s a time of letting go and releasing, be it people, things, or situations, as this Eclipse brings about powerful endings. So we may end up having to accept the fact that we aren’t getting something by that time. Then we will start to really work on a new dream and attaching to a new heart’s desire by the Big Solar Eclipse on August 21st because we will know more so what we want again.

It’s extremely important during this time, or as it’s called “Eclipse Season”, that you are kind and gentle on yourself. You can feel isolated and abandoned in some way, as you detach yourself from one dream and attach to a new one. As you feel this energy more, it’s important to ask yourself what it is your heart truly wants next. Just don’t expect an answer right away, this is a process. And it probably won’t all come together over night. Look to the Universe for signs and messages along the way to help guide you on this new journey.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is almost here folks! This connection is already growing and those who are sensitive, empathic, or psychic are probably feeling it!

There’s lots of good luck coming in around this week’s Eclipse in Leo. The Sun in Aquarius makes a fortunate trine to Jupiter in Libra. This energy creates good luck, financial opportunities, and growth on both personal and professional levels. This lucky energy starts to peak around Friday the 11th but the best days are actually Feb. 9th and Feb. 10th the actual day of the Eclipse. If you follow my blogs you will see that Friday’s Eclipse is in Leo, which is a good day for gambling, business dealings, and shopping. In fact, the next two Eclipses are both considered to be highly lucky for all kinds of reasons, and the next Eclipse is a Solar Eclipse on Feb. 26th, and it packs a very emotionally powerful punch.

This week’s powerful Eclipse is at 22 degrees Leo, this influence can create exciting events, unexpected opportunities, and breakthroughs, as some folks will experience some kind of random out of the blue event that can be life changing!

It’s nice to be able to write about the good aspects and share happy news for once. Yes, there are some more challenging energies also coming in around us at this time, but I feel the more fortunate cosmic lineup will outweigh all the more challenging stressful energy to the most part. “The Week Ahead”

The week ahead starts off with expressive Mercury switching signs, moving into the sign of Aquarius on Feb. 7th. Mercury rules over how we think, process, and express our thoughts. This brings out unique concepts and inspired thinking, and certainly new insights around how we think. Our minds become highly stimulated, so folks can get nosey and curious. Social media will be hopping this week and so will dating sites. Make sure and be careful about what you post online this week because there are more eyes than usual paying attention, so you don’t want someone checking out your Facebook page and seeing things that are private (maybe go over your privacy settings) like a new boss, new lover, or your mother.

The “Big Astrological” event is on February 10th when the Full Moon (Lunar) Eclipse lights up the sky and our lives. This energy can create luck and blessings for all of us. Messages concerning your personal soul path or journey are coming soon, and there will be major turning points. Valentine’s Day

So let’s talk about the upcoming holiday. On Valentine’s Day the Moon will be in more social yet relaxed Libra, which rules over our love life and partnerships anyway, and this is helpful since our focus will be in the right place. But warlike Mars will also be influential that day, which may cause tension for some of you. So don’t allow little things to throw you off, for example if your significant other buys you the wrong gift or takes you out to a different restaurant than your favorite. Allow this day to unfold naturally and let it just be what it is supposed to be, not the preconceived notion you have of what it should be. Be grateful that someone lives you enough to try. Don’t allow high expectations to ruin your good time. If you try to control the situation you can end up ruining all the fun and end up feeling let. down. Not exactly the ideal way to spend celebrating the day of love. Often just being together and enjoying the simple things in life is really all we need.
