October Begins 2021 Update

In October, four of the planets that have been Retrograde for quite some time finally move forward. Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. And Mercury just started its Retrograde cycle, but it also ends at the end of October. This means we’ll slowly be able to start working on things again. It might take until the end of the month to see tangible results. But over the next few months, we will see intense movement, and finally, certain situations we’ve been stuck in will shift.

On October 1, Mars opposes Chiron while Mercury squares Pluto, and the Sun opposes Chiron on the 3rd. These influences create forceful energies that promote healing, but they can also be challenging. People can get easily upset and feel on edge and lose their cool fast! Feelings are going to get hurt. So if you see or feel things are about to get out of control, take a moment and walk away. You may feel like you want to argue or fight, especially if something seems unfair. Choose your battles wisely, my friends.

Luckily on October 3, Mercury Trines Jupiter. This brings in a more helpful energy where people and information can come in that helps us smooth things over. And we might need it after the first few days of October.

Pluto also moves forward this month. After five long months of being Retrograde, this shift restores hope, and things won’t seem so intense and personal. Agreements and negotiations can be made more easily. And more helpful people start to show up, and relationships that have been under pressure will feel a little better. But we must be careful about any commitments we make as Mercury Retrograde is still underway!

On October 4, Venus enters the sign of fiery Sagittarius. Our minds are open when it comes to our relationships and sexuality. Often boundaries are crossed in our intimate relationships and relations! Feeling extremely sexual, we can feel more flirtatious and open to experimenting with lovers and partners. Lust and love go hand in hand under these energies; we focus more on our desires and passions than usual. Also watch your money as Venus rules over our finances as well, we can spend impulsively and find retail therapy extremely therapeutic.

On October 6, the New moon in Libra occurs. It’s an important time to Set Intentions with the Universe. Ask the celestials to help you with your hopes, dreams, and desires! It’s a great time to focus your energies on partnerships and relationships. I will be posting a whole Blog on October’s New Moon next week.

October 8-10, the Sun, Mars, and Mercury are all in the sign of Libra. It can be easier to get along, we want to keep the peace, so we tend to be more kind and gentle. We’re more willing to compromise and work together with others. But deceptive behavior is still in the air strong, so pay attention!

🌟 October 11, Saturn turns direct from Retrograde. Then on Oct 18, Jupiter and Mercury move forward as well from their Retrograde cycles. Things will get easier than they’ve been, but don’t expect perfection. Here’s some helpful things you should have done and can still do with the Retrograde planets.

Pluto Retrograde
April 27 – October 6
Over these last seven months hopefully you’ve chosen to do some deep internal shadow work, and released some inner demons along the way. A lot of folks ended relationships, quit jobs, changed careers, and did some major clearing of spaces at home and work.

Saturn Retrograde
May 23 – October 11
Hopefully during this cycle you’ve made some changes in your life to make the energies flow more easily and feel less restricted. This was also a good time to work on letting go any old belief systems or worn out learned behaviors that no longer serve you.

Jupiter Retrograde
June 20 – October 18
During this cycle we should be making room for spiritual and internal growth. This was a time to replace those beliefs and behaviors with more authentic ways of living and practicing your spirituality. This is a time for a second chances. And for getting more in touch with what you really truly believe in your heart.

Neptune Retrograde
June 25- December 1
This cycle sends out clues and signs about how to connect strongly with your spirit. Secrets come out and we can see things for what they truly are. There also can be underlined health issues that crop up, so we can gain more insight and find better ways to fix and heal our spirit, mind, and body.

Chiron Retrograde
July 15 – December 19
This is a strong time for emotional healing, especially from past childhood traumas, and past life healing. Triggers tend to pop up that serve as reminders about your past emotional trauma, so you can recognize what the source of your pain comes from and heal it!

Uranus Retrograde
August 19 – January 18
This is a time when we can break free from what has held us back or has been restricting us. We can learn how to find our independence, by leaving bad situations that limit our growth and personal success personally and professionally.

Mercury Retrograde
September 27 – October 18
A time to rethink, reassess, and redo things we haven’t finished. It’s not a time to start anything brand new. It’s an opportunity to go back over things and make necessary changes. But it can be extremely annoying and cause technical snafus and glitches along the way, simply because we’re supposed to be unplugged from our highly plugged in lifestyles and listen to our inner guidance.
