The March Full Moon in the sign of Libra is rather special from an Astrological standpoint, as it takes place on March 20th which is also the Spring Equinox, which in the Northern Hemisphere is the official start of Spring, and it’s also the same day the Sun shifts into the sign of Aries in 2019, and Aries Season begins.

This rare Spring Equinox Full “Super” Moon is when the Moon actually comes closer to the Earth. It takes an interesting combo of timing and location to attain Super Moon status, as they appear to be super-sized and much larger and brighter than a regular Full Moon. But this one is extremely special because it occurs during the Spring Equinox.

A few days before the Full Moon people tend to get weird and emotional, as the pressure builds up a few days prior to March 20th, this Super Moon’s energies will really pump things up. Some folks will feel more anxious, excitable, and can get highly irritated. But it also brings in incredible opportunities for love and money. So hopefully, being made aware helps you to be better prepared, so you can find your zen and stay grounded. Then this Full Moon’s super strong energy won’t cause you so many problems. Knowledge is power!

This Full Moon is in the sign of Libra, which is about partnerships and relationships, be it romantic or business, family or friend, something might be revealed, or become very important. Many of you will be making decisions about jobs, marriage, divorce, dating, letting go or allowing someone into your life under this Full Moon. Those folks who are already in a committed relationship may have some major turning point this week. Some of you might even meet up with a new or old lover, who you share a deep romantic bond with. However, we are still under Mercury’s cycle in Retrograde, so be careful. Just because someone we once loved shows back up in our lives doesn’t mean we are destined to be together. Take it very slow if you happen to meetup with a old lover or friend, it’s probably a lesson and not for the long run.

The Moon is in the 1st degree of Libra, which is the start of something or a new beginning. There can be epiphanies and Ah-Ha Psychic moments that have some special meaning, usually these are about starting something new and fresh. Something comes to full bloom, and this puts us on a new path. Oddly enough, the day after the Full Moon, Venus, Libra’s ruling planet is forming a tense Square to its Cosmic lover Mars, which is Aries ruling planet, and the Sun will be just shifting into Aries starting on the Full Moon point! This can bring up conflicts and tensions between our need for independence and togetherness. The end result of these conflicts can lead to new beginnings. Here’s an interesting note, this Full Moon occurs right at the beginning of the sign of Libra, and next month’s Full Moon will be near the end of the sign of Libra, so there is way more to this story then you probably realize at this time. Perhaps, an ending around whatever is brought out will be understood more during April 19th Full Moon.

“Feeling anxious and irritated during a Full Moon is actually a normal physical response to the Moon’s gravational pull on the planet. Just like the tides of the ocean rise during a Full Moon, so does the water within our own bodies, hence causing a physical and emotional response.”

This is also a great week for healing, and maybe gaining some sort of understanding of what you need to help heal yourself. The Sun in conjunct Chiron, the “wounded healer.” A emotional wound may come up to the surface to deal with, revealing that something needs you attention. If you make some time to learn how to nurture yourself, there can be some amazing healing work done.

As I mentioned March’s Full Moon is in the sign of Libra, and this definitely puts a spotlight on our relationships (of all kinds.) This gives us an opportunity to take a step back and observe ourselves, and notice if we are including the needs and desires of those around us, as we continue on our own journey. There’s a stronger pull to be fair and just, as our focus is more so on strengthening our relationship ties and bonds. This is a very social energy and a good time to have some sort of celebration, maybe you could throwing a party and celebrate the Full Moon-Spring Equinox! Take some time alone with your BFF while you’re at it, and don’t forget to schedule some sort of romantic adventure out with your lover!

The NEW MOON forms on Monday, October 8, 2018, in the sign of Libra.

On Monday night, a New Moon occurs in the sign of the scales, Libra! This is a good time to commit yourself to personal goals that have to do with your relationships or partnerships, both personal and business. This exciting New Moon can be good for new beginnings of course, in old and new relationships both. If you are willing to extend an “olive branch” to someone, and maybe welcome back an estranged family member or friend back into your life, or even give love a second chance, this beautifully complex New Moon can help you! With Venus now in its Retrograde cycle, those we have loved often come back around for a second try, but that doesn’t mean it will necessarily stay together once the Retro cycle is over.

Under this energy, we have a chance to work on our negotiating skills without giving up our own needs or giving in to someone else only just to keep the peace or to make them happy. It’s a good time to work on balancing our relationships and to see our partners as our teammates rather than competition. Libra energy also helps us learn how to bring opposites together, but there’s always a fine line that we must not cross while learning how to make the effort to stay committed in our relationships, or we may end up acting dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage.

Under this potent Libra New Moon energy, we have an opportunity to make some important changes in our lives. Some of the lessons Libra teaches all of us involves learning how to make peace and restore harmony with those around us, and in our own environments. This helps us establish some order and create balance in our world. It is also important to see the value and worth of your partner, but that may not be as easy with Venus the ruler of relationships, (Libra’s ruling planet,) now in Retrograde, you may feel a little more cut off emotionally or reserved, but if you search your heart surely you will feel what is valuable. This New Moon brings in a fresh and creative energy into our lives, and more specifically, into our relationships. Our desire to balance out our personal relationships can feel very strong during this cycle. This can be a good time for negotiations because we are more able to assert ourselves and our needs in ways that don’t offend or upset others.

However, this New Moon forms a tense Square to powerful Pluto, which can add some drama and intensity to our already existing relationship issues. This also can bring up and out completely new problems related to power and control. At one point over the next three days or so you will more than likely have to deal with some sort of resistance from others as our personal dreams and goals might conflict or compete with our goals in our relationships.

Pluto is currently in the sign of Capricorn, which connects us to the element of Earth, so we want something real, solid, and tangible. Pluto often brings out power struggles and can have you feeling pressured during this time. The lesson with Pluto connecting to this New Moon, is to be able to see that it’s not so much about the results as the connections you have with others, and that your relationships are powerful perhaps and intense, but also make sure they bring about more positive feelings to you.

With Pluto involved, watch and safeguard your health and your relationships both during this time. Colds and feeling ran down are often symptoms from this influence. If you have any medical issues do everything in your power to change your habits and lifestyle to get healthier. During this New Moon, you can put yourself on some sort of diet or plan that will help you improve your health. You can be quite serious and passionate about kicking bad habits, especially when it comes to how you eat! It is believed that the effects of this New Moon on Oct 8 will last until November 7, when another New Moon will occur in the sign of Scorpio.

Luckily, Venus is also tied in to this New Moon and makes a harmonious Trine to Neptune in Pisces (healing energy,) this brings a degree of flexibility to the table, as long as we are compassionate and empathic to our own needs and in our relationships, once we can recognize our own vulnerabilities in someone else’s situation or behavior, we can be much more compassionate and kind. This is a reflection of ourselves, mirror-mirror on the wall kind of stuff! Ya know to be kind to others and they will be kind to you, Karmic ties and what you put out will come back to you good, bad, or indifferent.

“SUN IN LIBRA”

Happy Birthday, Libra! And Happy Libra Season to all.

The Sun shifts from practical, detailed Virgo into the sign of harmony and balance, Libra.

This is our Autumnal Equinox, and we will experience equal hours of daylight as darkness.

Today is something to talk about because not only is the Sun moved into Libra, but so has the “great messenger” Mercury. So our core self and minds are in sync, besides the constant need to for balance these aspects turn our focus towards our relationships and brings in the energy of cooperation and equality.

You will feel sharp and aware of issues of injustices or unfair treatment of others, which may be a direct result of you taking a stand for yourself or others, especially if it’s around those you love. It’s easier to see all sides to most situations, so remember you can’t make everyone happy, because decision making can prove to be difficult. You might start playing the role of peacemaker under this influence, so you can be quite diplomatic when it comes to dealing with problems or business dealings.

We desire peace and harmony and create that energy both aware and unconsciously. Be careful to not seek out the approval of others too much during this cycle, as it can be difficult to know who’s telling the truth sometimes, follow your gut instincts during Libra Season as our inner awareness and psychic-self is at its strongest. You have an extra boost of intuition now with mental Mercury now in in the sign of Libra, as well, for most of October, so it’s just natural to study other folks and their behaviors and body language, which can tell you an awful lot about a person, go ahead and try it, you will see exactly what I am talking about. 

This transit can especially affect those with Libra Suns signs or Rising signs. Libra’s should feel a great big jolt of confidence and playfulness over these next four weeks, and the rest of you may be made more aware of how to balance what is required of you both emotionally and physically to achieve balance.

While under the Sun in Libra we will strive to keep some sort of balance and greater equilibrium for the next 28 days or so. Our relationships will also become of great interest and focus from September 22nd through October 23rd.

FYI we can struggle with how to handle our relationships with Venus the planet of love in the mysterious sign of Scorpio during this time, and with planet Venus going into its Retrograde cycle soon. Relationships are under a microscope and are about to get a big dose of reality through the end of November!

VENUS ENTERS LIBRA

Venus is in Libra from August 6-September 9.

The Goddess of Love is shifting gears as it changes signs around the Zodiac Wheel every 5 weeks, and this time it’s landing in the sign it rules, the sign of charm and relationships, Libra! However, this energy can also be rather aggressive (Libra is also believed to be Co-Ruled by Uranus.) In love and money endeavors we will go after what we want during this cycle. But we generally speaking are ready to keep things peaceful and harmonious with our lovers and business partners and just in our life.

You may feel airy and somewhat detached while Venus is in Libra with friends and in life in general, but you can become obsessive about keeping your relationships good, especially your intimate ones and in your business partnerships. We can be quite accommodating with other people period, and more than willing to negotiate and compromise. Which is great for making deals and just getting along better.

Because we are especially idealistic about love under Venus in Libra, we don’t tend to see the issues in our relationships, as we can just ignore them instead and pretend everything is perfectly normal, therefore, we may not see how dependent, inconsistent, or superficial we are acting with our partners. We do not like unkind or shadowy behavior during this time, and it can totally turn us off because we are meant to balance the light and dark energies that are around us. We prefer for things to be done a certain way, and to avoid anything unpleasant we tend to ignore or look over important deeper issues that are playing out in our relationships, as this can be a strong time for denial.

It’s important not to ignore our partners or we can suffer in silence, secretly feeling resentful that nothing is getting addressed or changed. Speak up even if it is uncomfortable, that is breakthrough! Your reluctance will only trap you and then you can end up privately suffering while feeling you are the martyr for doing so. Resentments can build and later come between you and your lover or remember also business partners, once Venus shifts out of Libra in October and into more deeper thinking Scorpio.

This is a time when we appreciate anything that is artistic and beautiful. We can seriously spend some mola if we aren’t careful under these energies, so watch your wallet. We want to change our environment and make it more pleasant and beautiful to look at, especially in our home, as it is our sanctuary under this influence more so than usual, which makes it a great time for redecorating or making home improvements. But don’t forget the Retrogrades planets are at play right now, so we should wait until late August to make any major changes or even early September.

The Full Moon occurs Saturday, March 31st in the morning!
This is the second Full Moon in the month of March, so it’s a Blue Moon!
Blue Moon’s are rare and seem to be felt more strong, because they’re more intense than an average Full Moon. There’s other planetary connections coming together alongside this Full Moon which have already been felt by many of you.
This Full Moon is in the sign of Libra, and the Sun is in Aries, which means the lesson for all of us is about balance. We’re being shown how we are to balance the needs of the folks we are in relationships with, (all kinds of relationships) while attending to our own personal needs. This energy can show you just what part of your life you need to balance the most, so pay attention to what the Universe is trying to show you, signs & symbols are coming in all over the place. For some of you this can be a major shift in your relationships.
Full Moons tend to bring out the TRUTH, plain and simple! Secrets tend to come out and we get answers under its light. This potent influence is a time of completion and endings. This energy gives us a chance to start reviewing our relationships with lovers, friends, co-workers, and family.
Clarity can now be gained which helps us make better more informed decisions, than we can move towards healing a current relationship or walk away. This might play out in a relationship in a less dramatic way, it’s not always something big but often something more subtle. Either way, this energy can help you breakdown your options, and create some issues to be worked through with a partner, friend, or family member.
The Sun in Aries & Moon in Libra make a tense connection to create a FULL MOON! This energy can play out in such a way that you may find yourself walking away from a current relationship, or setting boundaries with someone your close too. It’s also very important to take care of yourself first and foremost, so you can be around for the folks who depend on you.
Meanwhile, Saturn is in more stable Capricorn, which represents putting up boundaries, and Mars is also in Capricorn which represents the actions we take, and our anger and passion. So all four of these planets are making what’s called a harsh T-square. This challenging energy can be hard to handle! You may have to do something involving a relationship with someone or something, or it could be the relationship you have with yourself that needs some work! Either way, this influence can make you feel restless and anxiety ridden even more so than the Full Moon itself, but for some it feels more excitable
Work on channeling this energy in a more positive way and observe all the craziness, disruptions, and frustrations, and know something new is being developed. Perhaps there is something exciting and new being made up just for you right now! So if you take the time to look past all the conflict, you may just be able to feel that new energy coming together.
The Cosmos is providing us with a huge burst of energy through this Full Moon, but we may not feel it until after the Full Moon’s came together Saturday morning. The best way to figure out what new opportunities are headed your way, is to take responsibility for any past issues that make you still feel uncomfortable, and that might show back up around the time of this Full Moon, most importantly you should take care of these problems so something better can come in. Just make sure to clear space so you can create new energy.
The Full Moon in Libra just wants everyone to learn how to get along, but often the road to this balance is a chaotic one! The challenging part is this energy doesn’t support confrontation, and yet we don’t feel so much like addressing the more unpleasant things in life. With the Aries energy still at play we can feel uncomfortable and get pretty frustrated awfully fast! It’s important for all of the cardinal signs to make sure they take extra efforts by taking responsibility for their actions at this time, and those signs are Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra’s. But this emotionally charged, heated-up energy can affect each and every one of us, stay in control and be calm and enjoy the magic of the Full Moon.

“Setting Intentions w/ the NEW MOON”
October 19th, 2017

 

There’s a New Moon occurring in Libra, Thursday, October 19th, which makes this the best time of the month to set some powerful intentions around your future goals with the Universe and work a little magic!

 

The Moon goes into the Void cycle around 2pm CST and 3pm EST Thursday afternoon, but it won’t switch signs until around 8:45pm CST and 9:45pm EST, and then will move into Taurus!

 

*Setting Intentions*

During a New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting seeds of intention from our heart and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to be grateful for what we have and work on manifesting what energy we want to come in next. What I mean by that is we can create whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, love, it doesn’t really matter, but we have to do some things to make it really happen. And no not everything you want is going to just magically appear. But at least you’ll be placed on the right path towards your destination!

 

By “Setting Intentions” with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to begin heading down and that’s a start. Then the energies will begin to line up to get you there.

 

The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of beginnings when you can recharge goals or set new ones. During the New Moon, we often experience an “energy shift.”

 

Here are some ideas on what to Manifest under a New Moon:

 

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

 

2. Share your intention with someone in a supportive way, and who will be encouraging.

 

3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.

 

4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would, and then take the next step.

 

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source, Guides, Angels, etc), and ask the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to be patient and simply allow the time needed, things don’t always happen right away, but we can get taken down certain paths to find our way to what it is we’re looking for… and sometimes magic just happens.

 

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the New Moon?

Follow the Steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your sacred space

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do New Moon work in. You’ll simply be calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some sage or Incense and clear the energies. Next close your eyes and breathe deeply … and call upon your guides, Angels, or higher power in and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill it up with the energy of love and light. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it.

 

Step Two: Set the atmosphere

Set the mood for your “New Moon” Ritual and again burn some special incense, light some candles (and colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be very different for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever colors or tools that make you feel calm, centered, happy, and peaceful.


Step Three: Setting Your Intentions-Making Wishes with the Moon

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Think about where you’re going to do all this work at, because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair, because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot.

Now write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life and be detailed.

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about … for example; ask what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now, and what do you want to create? Think about your long-term goals and future and what you’d like that to look like over the next month. Be careful about focusing on the how, why, and when of your goals, focus more on what it is you’re wanting and how you want to feel. Let the Universe take care of the rest.


Step Four: Visualize

It’s time to visualize what you’ve written. Close your eyes and take long deep breaths, so in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest (not your pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that Soul-Mate, driving that new car. Just don’t think it, make sure and FEEL IT as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing.

Allow the Universe to show you which paths to follow over the next 30 days, and then allow the New Moon to light up those paths that you are supposed to be going down, so you may bring in what you truly desire, and let go of what you don’t want, it’s not serving your higher good and it’s blocking you from your desires.

Autumn Equinox 2017

Today September 22nd marks the official beginning of the Autumn Equinox, so we’re in a totally different energy than what we have been, but there’s nothing to fear because it’s been, rough folks. But this will help ease tensions and bring some calm into the mix.

This Equinox will be the turning point of the year and marks when the Sun shifts into Libra. Libra’s energy is all about finding balance and learning how to live in harmony with others, especially in relationships (of all kinds). This sign teaches us to look at life from a more compassionate but also accommodating manner. Generally speaking, this sign helps us to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.

As the Sun shifts into Libra on this Equinox, we will finally get the opportunity to experience something new or different. This huge shift in energy will be more focused on allowing our goals to meet their full potential. This has already been a hard time for Mother Nature, she is still in a huge cleansing process that was initiated by the Eclipses over the summer.

As the Equinox occurs you are invited to work on balancing yourself out and find some sort of stability. However, as we work on getting our equilibrium back we will have to take on some lessons at first, so we have to accept this is the process we must go through. The Universe will test and challenge you, these lessons often help us evolve, however.

Starting today the energies will be slowing down as we go through this major shift and balance will finally start to arrive, this gives us those moments where we can catch our breath and just take a break! The planet has been going through a lot on its own right and will also now start to recover even if just for a short time. The things we put off or didn’t take time to do will start to show up now to finish and be dealt with over the last quarter of 2017. As our new paths are opened and revealed to us, our reality will change and the Equinox’s energies can really help smooth things over as we adjust.

It is very important to embrace all that is happening now, and not hide from it, so trust yourself and your inner voice to guide you. Many of you are already feeling drained and just off, but once we get on the paths you should be on, things will start to calm down. Our creativity will be super strong and potent during this energy shift, so take some time to reflect on what you have been doing this year so you can create what you want to happen during the last part of 2017. Don’t look back, the past is behind you, focus on creating a bright and amazing future instead.

This energy rolling in now will start to calm things down a bit, and should help us with the more difficult issues we’ve been having, so we are in recovery now. Just give all of this a little time to come together and allow these new energies to flow just where they need to be. Try to stay as positive as you can and focus on what is to come because it truly makes a difference even if things don’t appear that way at first. Patience is key to your success now.

  • This NEW MOON is also called the “BLACK MOON,” because it is the second NEW MOON in one month.
    It is a rare celestial event that only happens approximately once ever 32 months.

New Moon – Setting Intentions

There’s a New Moon in Libra coming together which makes it the best time to set some powerful intentions with the Universe if you work a little Magic. Don’t miss this one it’s potent powerful energy!
During a New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting seeds of intention from our heart and getting in touch with our Soul. It’s a good time to be grateful for what we have and work on manifesting what energy we would like to have come on. What I mean by that is we can call in whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, love…it doesn’t really matter, but we have to do some things to make it really work for us. And no not everything you want is going to just magically appear. But at least by Setting Intentions with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to start heading on, and that’s a start.

The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of beginnings when you can recharge goals or set new ones. During the New Moon, we often experience an “energy shift.”

Here’s some ideas on what to Manifest under a New Moon:

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

2. Share your intention with someone in a way that will supportively hold you accountable for taking action.

3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.

4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would, and then take the next step.

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source, Guides, Angels, etc), and ask the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led to what you’re choosing to manifest. Remember to be patient and simply allow the time needed, things don’t always happen right away, but we can get taken down certain paths to find our way to what it is we’re looking for… and sometimes magic just happens.

What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the New Moon?

Follow the Steps below to learn how:

Step One: Clear your sacred space

Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do New Moon work in. You’ll simply be calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies. Next, close your eyes and breathe deeply … and call upon your guides, Angels, or higher power in and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill it up with the energy of love and light. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it.

Step Two: Set the atmosphere

Set the mood for your “New Moon” Ritual and again burn some special incense, light some candles (and colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be very different for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever colors or tools that make you feel calm, centered, happy, and peaceful.

Step Three: Setting Intentions

You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Think about where you’re going to do all this work at because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot.

Now write down what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write down your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life and be detailed.

As you’re doing this work and setting your intentions, here’s some helpful questions to help you think about what you want, for example; ask what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now, and what do you want to create? Think about your long-term goals and future and what you’d like that to look like over the next month. Be careful about focusing on the how, why, and when of your goals, focus more on what it is your wanting and how you want to feel. Let the Universe take care of the rest.

Step four: Visualize

It’s time to visualize what you’ve written. Close your eyes and take long deep breaths, so in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest (not your pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that Soul-Mate, driving that new car. Just don’t think it, make sure and FEEL IT, as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing.

Allow the Universe to show you what paths to follow over the next 30 days and allow the New Moon to light up the path you are supposed to be going down, so you may bring in what you truly desire, and let go of what you don’t want!
