On February 9th, 2020 we have a Full Moon in Leo at 20°. This Full Moon is also making a harmonious trine to motivated Mars in Sagittarius, so this is a strong time for romance and sex! 

This Full Moon is when the Sun in Aquarius makes a tense opposition with the Moon in Leo, it is a time to find a balance between our friendships and romantic lives. We need to work on expressing ourselves both in a personal and impersonal way. But Full Moon’s canfeel quite stressful and excitable. So we need to find coping skills for our nerves, and under this particular Full Moon we should find healthy ways to express all the intense emotions we might be feeling, without roaring about it. 

This is a strong, potent Full Moon in the sign of Leo, it’s a proud and extremely individual energy. We are not settling well with just being one of the team now. It can make you feel compelled to follow your dreams, heart’s desire, and joy, no matter who or what obstacles are or get in your way. But I must caution you to not let your emotions get out of control, or you can get extremely aggressive, egotistical, or mean. Luckily, this energy can actually help you to be more cautious, so you can look at situations more carefully before making any important moves.

This Full Moon is about creative self-expression, and it can be a major boost to our ego, as we receive attention through pleasure and romance. It’s important to check yourself and not allow the decisions you make to come from a place of ego. Go with the flow! And if you have some sort of clarity, or random Ah-Ha moment than pay attention. But if you are feeling more frustrated or angry, then you have some more soul-searching kind of work to do.

During this Full Moon time we can be intensely devoted to someone, but the Moon hooks up with sexual Mars as well, and we can feel strongly sexual and attracted to others as well, so this can be a strong time for infiadelity. And there can be a deeper need to meet up with otherpeople, or to just get our freak on! Pay Attention folks, we can feel a stronger than usual urge to merge with others, and you can feel more brave and daring, which makes it easier to make declarations of love and adoration. So if you are really feeling it, then go for it! But remember your consequences. 

This Full Moon illuminates our emotional issues, so there might be something we need to end, release, or bring to an end. Or perhaps there is just something we need to acknowledge, or maybe we just need to make an adjustment of some kind. We may have a new and fresh perspective under this illumination, so many of you are going into an old situation in a whole different way, and you can see things much more clearly. Full Moon’s tend to bring skeletons out of the closet, so the truth comes out! And this Leo Moon energy is about being real and authentic, so lots of people will see things that have been hidden, secret, or denied come out this weekend!

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

This Full Moon is a highly emotionally charged one, so we can feel extra sensitive and vulnerable. It illuminates over some pretty touchy cosmic points that affect us quite profoundly. Under the sign of courageous Leo, you can feel more bold, but also be quite stubborn. This Moon isn’t necessarily a time to be strong and silent, it is a time to express yourself in some way. But our emotions get pulled on right from the heart, and it can be more difficult to stay strong at times. The best thing to do is release what’s no longer working for you, let that bad relationship go, forgive and move on. Or let go of feeling badly over something, whatever it is, this Full Moon encourages us to let go and move forward now!

Loving Venus is also heading towards an alignment with wounded healer/teacherChiron, both in the sign of Aries at the time of the Full Moon. So through our interactions with people, we are learning how to grow and heal our emotional wounds. And since we have so much fire in the sky right now, a lot of these experiences for many of you will be sexual in nature!

The planet Mars is currently in fellow fire sign, Sagittarius. This can give us energy, and help us stay motivated, as it pushes us to get moving. The Full Moon is forming a rather beautiful Trine energy to passionate Mars. This really pumps up the energies and gets us moving since both the Moon and Mars are in fire signs! This makes for a good weekend to get things done.

This Moon/Mars influence is a boost of energy, courage, and confidence that we so desperately need right now. It’s encouraging us to go after our dreams and what we truly desire, and for moving forward in our lives. But we must remember Mars is naturally aggressive, and this means we are not afraid of a fight! Try not to get too frustrated, or it can trip you up emotionally and take you to a whole new level of angry! The good news is if you’re feeling stuck and haven’t been able to get something accomplished this energy can finally help you work out a plan.

Mars is currently in the sign of beliefs and faith, Sagittarius. So we might be fighting our faith or are just in a crisis of faith. It doesn’t matter what you believe in, faith is faith. Get out of your comfort zone and find what makes you happy this weekend, and if you’re not sure then ask the Universe to show you!

Just remember you might think you need to be honest under these energies, but in all actuality we are just expressing what we believe the truth to be from our perspective. 2020 is the year of integrity, after all. However, if you decide to be brutally honest just to hurt someone or to be mean, it will probably backfire on you! And that’s not ok! Instead, work at being kind, and help motivate others, spread some good energy around and you’ll be better off for it.

This romantic Full Moon in Leo up in the night sky is symbolic, as it lights up our emotions in our own lives. But of course, our feelings are raw and new, so whatever clarity we receive or revelations we have are going to be emotionally based. This is a time when these emotions can suddenly be brought forth into our awareness or consciousness. It’s a very strong time to express our thoughts and ideas and to let things out. Over the next few days or so, we will understand more about what we are feeling and experiencing now under this Full Moon.

For the weekend, we should take a step back and chill with our feelings. But again we might feel pushed to express our thoughts, (that’s where Setting Intentions with the Universe comes into play) so if you do happen to express yourself just try and use some restraint and extra care.

Just remember this is not a time when we are rational, it’s all emotional reactions under a Full Moon, hence why you need to find a healthy way to release all this energy in a more controlled manner. A Super Moon, Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse!

The Cosmos illuminates the night sky on Jan. 21, as the beautiful Super Moon, Lunar Eclipse makes its appearance in a very powerful way!

The year 2019 started off with a New Moon, Solar Eclipse on Jan. 5, so we are now more than ready for the second part of the Eclipse phase to come together. Look for special signs and symbols from the Cosmos as to what your Eclipse messages may be. Something in your life is probably ending so you can create something new to come into your life. Eclipses bring with them very powerful cosmic energy to planet Earth and often trigger unexpected changes and surprises, so they bring important messages with them.

The Full Moon will be very close to the Earth this month, so this means the energies will feel quite intense compared to a normal Full Moon. This Super Full Moon as it’s called is also an Eclipse so you can feel this sucker in a big and very powerful way.

This Lunar Eclipse is at 0 degrees in the sign of Leo, and is the first Full Moon of the New Year! There will be two more Eclipses in July, back to back, so something profound is developing. 

The Moon’s Karmic Nodes are points that are also linked to this Eclipse and are already known for bringing in more Karmic situations, so the truth is coming out, secrets are being revealed as information comes to light. So it’s a time of decisions if you are ready or not!

Mercury the planet of communication, ruler of our thinking processes turns direct, and a plan will finally start to come together! Now is the time to incorporate all that you’ve have learned during its Retrograde cycle, so if you have been thinking about or reviewing something important since July 25th (or a few weeks prior), when Mercury turned Retrograde, and you have used this time wisely now you can proceed with fewer obstacles and get on the right path, because you are informed and have a more realistic understanding about where you stand and what you need to be doing in order to be successful. Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse

July has been an intense month on the Astrological front lines, with Mercury going Retrograde on July 25, and a Full Blood Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse on July 27, it’s about to get intense folks! A Blood Moon is extremely potent and its effects are stronger than a normal Full Moon because a Total Lunar Eclipse always follows and stirs up lots of activity and emotions.

A Full Blood Moon has nothing to do with actual Blood! Even though life might be crazy during this time. It actually gets its name from the reddish hue it shines when the Earth and the Sun align and block the light of the Full Moon. Since ancient times Blood Moon’s have been labeled as a time of misfortune and chaos by very superstitious people. But more than likely it’s the hype that fed those rumors and created such fear that something bad was going to happen, so during these cycles, folks tend to get riled up and make poor choices. It is certainly a stressful energy we have to deal with, but it is what you make of it! In all actuality, we should be paying attention to the other planets and their connections to the Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse to see how it will affect us!

This Eclipse will be affected more so by the planet Mars, which means this cycle will make us feel extremely emotional charged! Mars influence can cause frustrations or even anger which could easily turn into reckless actions, because of a harsh connection Mars is making to game-changer Uranus also at the time of the Eclipse. So yes, this can mean problems, but there are ways to get around these energies and deal with them. Forewarned is forearmed as they say! Now there’s a more gentle influence from Saturn coming in also during this time, and this can help keep things more grounded and calmer. And there’s also some fixed stars influence as well that can help us to be more patient and decisive in a crisis, but they also can cause more aggression and emotional upheaval.

It is said that the Total Lunar Eclipse this July is the longest running Lunar Eclipse this century, which only make its influence more intensified.

This Lunar Eclipse turns our attention towards our feelings, home & family, and intimate relationships. So as potent as this illumination is, it’s going to have an incredibly powerful influence mostly on our private lives. We will only be one day into Mercury’s Retrograde cycle the day the Blood Moon comes together and this can make people feel very nervous. There’s a lot of folks who still fear the Eclipses so some of you will be hanging out close to home out of fear, but we really shouldn’t allow this energy to scare us!

This energy certainly has its challenges, and with that painful transformations are already happening to lots of people. The Eclipse is a hard reset like on a smartphone, and a rather large download of information we receive from the Universe like an Update, but for our souls! So if over the last six months or so, things in your life have been building up to crescendo you just can’t seem to handle this Blood Moon/Lunar Eclipse can be a new beginning or a fresh start actually, please hang on tight you are about to breakthrough! This might cause us to be upset in some way, but this Karmic Experience can actually help us get rid of unwanted emotional baggage. It’s a cleansing for our soul!

We are already in Eclipse Season as it’s called, so if you have been feeling dragged down and out of it, that is completely normal. This just means the Eclipse energy is already begun, and in the weeks to come we must be prepared to expect the unexpected! Eclipses are turning points in our lives, and situations shift quickly without little warning, changes are everywhere right now, and sometimes we lose our footing during this time. This energy can be very disorienting when you aren’t aware of what is happening, and with so many planets in Retrograde it is a massive time of confusion. Since we won’t be able to visibly see this Lunar Eclipse here in the States we might not be paying attention to when it’s happening and try to ignore its side effects, but this can catch you off guard by its unstable energies, because regardless if you can see it or not, it is happening and its energies will affect you.

Our emotions and passions will be in high gear during this particular Lunar Eclipse, and our anger can be more explosive, so waves of sadness and frustrations might feel more overwhelming, and our passions will be more powerful than normal, but also moments of pleasure and happiness can feel like nirvana! Admittedly, this is a rough time for us, however, there is a ray of hope as we go through this transformation and the side effects we are experiencing are just necessary growing pains as we go through this metamorphosis! I believe strongly we will come out different on the other end of this Eclipse Season, with information planted in our unconscious minds to be brought out and discovered, it is an interesting but exciting time folks!

If you feel like you are in a dark place and are just blind to what is going to happen next, we are in the time of Mercury and so many other planets in Retrograde, but just know the light will find you once again and you will eventually see a glimmer if you will while you are in this dark emotional place, so DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! Allow the peacefulness that comes from being in the dark and not so distracted to wash over you and do something spiritual, like write in a journal or take a nice Moon bath. Do something that makes you feel better when you are stressed out during this time, take extra care and nurture yourself. The Eclipse energy is hard on us, and we need to get lots of rest, eat right, and exercise during this time to be at our best to handle these powerful downloads that are about to come in.

A Look Ahead
Two weeks after this Lunar Eclipse occurs there will be a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11.

Once again another very rare and important time, that I will explain more as we get closer to that time, but for now you should know this will be a good time for new and lucky breaks and new beginnings! For All Zodiac Signs:
Mercury enters the sign of proud and expressive Leo today! This transit will be in this sign until September 5th, which is longer than usual due to Mercury going Retrograde, from July 25 through August 18, which is usually a challenging time. But this blog is about Mercury’s time in the sign of Leo, which affects all of us!

With Mercury in the sign of Leo our thinking is very strong, so we can feel more confident and tend to demand respect, and can get quite upset if we feel someone is talking down to us or is not listening to what we are saying. One thing we should be careful of especially once the Sun Enters Leo around July 22nd is just how aggressive, pushy, and over bearing we can get. There will be a whole lot of Leo energy swirling around and this means some folks won’t know how to handle this fiery energy, so be mindful and if you feel like your going to Roar take a break and get space!

It’s a good time to focus on your goals, and the more magnificent the goal, the better. This cycle can help you organize your thoughts to concentrate for long periods of time, which can help you meet your goals. Our minds our full of energy and our will power is strong, we are full of perseverance, and have a stronger sense of purpose.

Our minds may just naturally go to the positive, so we can be more kind, easy-going, and cheerful, even though on occasion we can be quite opinionating, stubborn, arrogant, and to forceful.

The little actions we take do really matter in this energy, but the details aren’t as important because we want to get to the point and have some fun. We are much more expressive and a little dramatic, and can do well when we get an opportunity to express ourselves, so giving speeches or telling stories can go quite well.

We also can be very charming, convincing, and persuasive because we are full of confidence and pride, especially when we speak or write. Therefore, we should be mindful to listen to people to hear them and not just to reply, because we might want to chat a lot more then usual. Also watch for gossip, it is all too easy to start talking about other folks during this time, and we can get wrapped up in what we’re talking about and end up over sharing with the wrong people.

With the planet Mercury ruling our thoughts and how we express ourselves in the sign of Leo, we may be particularly concerned with our looks and how we present ourselves, under this energy people feel more like dressing up as we are on the grand stage of life and everyone else is the audience. This doesn’t necessarily mean we will want attention from everyone however, we can be very picky and choosy about who we draw to us and be actually more closed off or even shy emotionally about our deeper truths.

It is NOT a good time to starve yourself, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t diet or eat healthier, but make sure to eat several small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar level. Depriving yourself will not go well and can make you feel rather aggressive and moody! You might just crave extra saucy, fatty food, so don’t go overboard.

After working hard we also will feel more like playing just as hard, so set time aside to allow your inner child to explore and have some fun, this is a very natural way of being under this Leo energy and if we choose to ignore it and not allow ourselves some time to relax and enjoy something we love we can become quite irritated and lonely.

MERCURY TURNS DIRECT!!

Mercury is leaving its Retrograde cycle, finally! Can I get a HOORAY!! Heavy Deep Sigh! And exhale, haha

Mentally strong Mercury, the planet that rules over our way of thinking, communication, and forward movement is finally turning direct this morning, from being Retrograde (backward) since August 12th.

Over the coming weeks ahead, the problems we’ve been experiencing with communication, decision-making, and glitchy electronics will start to improve. Slowly will able to make decisions once again, but be patient folks, this energy doesn’t change over night, it takes time to get back to normal. Just be thankful, we’re on the right track again!

Any plans or projects you couldn’t get finished over the last month or so can at least get started with the potential for success now. Start out by taking baby steps for now, because we actually can be overwhelmed with too much information during this time. This can make things even more confusing and difficult to make sense of. It’s actually probably a good idea to wait, before making any important decisions for the time being, as our thinking isn’t quite right just yet!

In fact, this “Shadow Phase” of Mercury Retrograde coupled along with all these other energies and the dreamy Full Moon can simply be too much energy to handle and very distracting! The clarity we seek isn’t readily available under all this heavy fog today. Try to wait it out if at all possible, if you’re needing to make any major changes, around the 9th things will really start to make sense again. The shadow phase technically lasts through the Sept 19th!

September will be much calmer and not as crazy as August due to the Solar Eclipse that occurred. However, the energy the Eclipse started on August 21st will continue to be activated throughout September and the months to come. We just won’t feel so push and pulled on like we did all through August to the point of craziness, and much of that nervous tension we felt shouldn’t be a factor.

Mercury in Retrograde just moved back into the sign of Leo, and meets up with hot-headed Mars on the 3rd, but also makes a nice connection to thought provoking Uranus. This coming week is all about the Lessons we are learning from last month’s Eclipse. These lessons are still just coming to us because this energy lasts for months after it occurred, so we are still processing them and discovering what they even are at this time. They’re so new we don’t even know them all just yet! Mercury teaches us how to communicate, while Mars is our actions, and Uranus helps us think of new ways to do things. These three planets are joining up and activating the Eclipse Point energies, and this creates a very strong energy for communication. But the issue is we can say too much and cross boundaries, so people may get aggressive or angry!

Mars the planet that ignites our aggressions and passions is still in fiery, roaring Leo till the 5th, so watch what you say folks, or get ready to rumble out there! The energies are ripe for disputes, fights, and anger. Some people are feeling selfish, and there’s a tendency to overdo and over react right now. The good news is Mercury is going DIRECT on the 5th, just right before the Full Moon comes together, which ends its three weeks long Retrograde cycle, but if you add the three week shadow period prior to the Rx period, we have been in this energy for nearly six long weeks! It’s been enough, for now, time to get our way of thinking back to normal. And it’s turning direct at the exact same point or degree as it’s called in Astrology as last month’s Solar Eclipse also in Leo, 28 degrees. This energy can bring great insight and clarity around how to move forward with our intentions we set back during the Eclipse.

This will be a very powerful time for Mercury because it is always stronger when it turns direct, so in Leo, the truth will come out, and people are exposed, but this also gives us more helpful information.The Full Moon occurs the next day on Sept 6th in healing Pisces. So we will be in lessons around spirituality, idealism, dreams (both awake and asleep), illusions, deception, weakness, confusion, and vagueness. Neptune is Pisces ruling planet and this Full Moon will affect your mood and close relationships, it amplifies and intensifies these energies as it also joins up with Neptune! This can be dreamy or extremely foggy! Make sure to be cautious during this time, things aren’t what they always appear to be, and we are more vulnerable to deception, victimization, and scandals.

Last February the Moon was doing the exact same thing, so whatever seeds or ideas we planted at that time can now be realized during this month’s Full Moon.This month’s New Moon occurs on the 20th in Virgo. So it’s lessons for us are all about getting some control over our bodies and health or well-being, it also helps us to focus on the details and reality. The New Moon in Leo comes together Monday, August 21st, 2017 which is also a rare Solar Eclipse! The most anticipated and debated astrological event of the Summer is finally upon us.

A NEW MOON represents a New Cycle that the cosmos brings into help us create new beginnings. This also happens to be the day of the “Great American Solar Eclipse”, so let’s just get the facts straight:

– NEW MOONS ARE ALSO CALLED “DARK MOONS,” because they give off the lowest light during a calendar month.

– NEW MOONS are when the SUN is Conjunct the MOON. A new moon is a moment when the Sun and Moon are in conjunction, meaning that the Sun and Earth are on the opposite sides of the Moon.

– This NEW MOON is in the sign of Leo astrological this time around.

– On Monday, Aug. 21st the sky will go dark for a short period of time due to the SOLAR ECLIPSE!

– A SOLAR ECLIPSE, as viewed from Earth, occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, fully or partially from the Sun.

– A SOLAR ECLIPSE typically only happens with a NEW MOON, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction.

– In partial and annular Eclipses, only part of the Sun is obscured; during a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon, the Eclipse on August 21, 2017, is a Total one.

 

This New Moon cycle is the second of two New Moon’s both in Leo in a month. This Solar Eclipse marks the grand finale to this tumultuous “Eclipse Season” and a blazing new beginning on a personal and collective level. Leo is the most dramatic or more like theatrical and radiant sign of the Zodiac signs.

July’s New Moon in Leo was connected strongly to fiery Mars also in Leo, and that fiery energy was the booster to set this energy into motion.

However, the August New Moon’s energy feels more solid, stubborn, resolute, and uncompromising so there won’t be any hesitation, doubt, or resistance allowed at this time!

This New Moon brings with it a mysterious dark shadow that is cast on Earth, due to the “Total Solar Eclipse” also occurring, and this can be a positive influence that helps brings out our intuitive nature, therefore dreams and visions have been quite strong. But it asks us to embrace our weaknesses, and tap into our inner confidence and strength.

Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even if it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde is that time out, it’s the chance to get caught up with life, it’s time to get unplugged, and take a long deep breath. It’s a good time to take time off from work if at all possible and focus on reworking what needs to be completed, and no the Universe doesn’t care if you have a deadline, or when it’s time to slow down and unplug, it simply just is.

Mercury rules the lower-mind or individual (finite) mind and its energies, so when it’s in a Retrograde cycle we tend to perceive things in a very different way.

Mercury in Retrograde, like all Retrograde plants, is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new astrological fad. Planets have always gone into Retrograde and will continue to do so. So every once in awhile we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Retrogrades cycle does help us to breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to know as this energy comes in is that it’s time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. It is time to re-search, re-think, re-visit, re-connect, and to get re-organized.

What Not To Do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

– Don’t start brand new projects
– Do not get into arguments, avoid critical folks and tense people or situations.
– Do Not Sign Contracts or New Agreements
– Avoid Travel
– Do Not take misunderstandings personal. Our communication is foggy and clouded.

What To do during
Mercury in Retrograde:

– Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.
– Double Check the Facts and all the info you come by.
– Revisit what you need to, like your work.
– Reconnect with the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.
– Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved, usually start this process two weeks prior to the actual Retro Cycle.
– Reorganize your daily life routines.
– Declutter.
– Reflect and practice spiritual work.
– Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what no longer is working especially in your intimate relationships.

~What’s Positive During Mercury in Retrograde?
There can be positive effects to your life from Mercury in Retrograde that we just didn’t think about before. Like throwing out the old and organizing our lives. Focus on any past opportunities and reconsider them and see if they are still an option. We may just have to work around all the computer glitches and electronic snafus while doing so. It’s important to understand we don’t have to stop all our projects during the Mercury in Rx cycle. But it’s not an ideal time to start new ventures or to sign contracts, simply because for one reason or another we end up usually changing our mind once Mercury turns direct, or goes back to normal. However, it can be a great time to do some “outside of the box” thinking. It’s just best not to ACT until after Mercury is back to its normal pace. But if you can get something done in a different or unique way, go for it!

~With Mercury Retrograde in Virgo:
This time around our focus should be on re-organizing and reflecting. We see the world differently during this time and through these filters, we can have some very important inner-revelations. With Mercury in Rx it’s a good time to look at past decisions and ideas from a new enlightened perspective, but remember we can be especially analytical and critical, perhaps too much with Mercury in the sign of Virgo through the 31st.

Even though we may be especially stubborn or impatient. Lots of folks will end up returning to old projects and end up redoing, refining, and tweaking them. You may feel stuck in the past in some way while Mercury is Retrograde in Virgo, but you can find old or past ideas to be more useful now, so use them in new ways if you can make yourself move forward. This is a great time to review recent financial matters or work and discover mistakes or oversights. Plans or routines may be reconsidered in ways that can benefit you.

Mercury Rx is also a powerful time to study, particularly for returning to old studies and re-learning or refreshing knowledge around subjects that have already been taken.

This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past and help you reconnect to an old dream or goal to follow through on. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually, it doesn’t work out for the long-run. Because we are perceiving things in a different way and the truth tends to come out, and you just might notice or find some kind of detail you overlooked or didn’t catch before. This cycle can bring clarity and help you remove the restrictions or blocks that are in your way from achieving happiness.

It may not be as easy to communicate under this influence, but remember to try not to rationalize everything, which can prove difficult due to this particular Mercury in Retro being in analytical Virgo. Mercury Rx periods can be times of heightened inner-awareness, so might I suggest getting more involved in practices like meditation, keeping a journal, reworking old plans, reviewing or working on any activities involving your past. And this all can be quite helpful as it keeps your mind more focused and in the right space.

We can get a lot out of renewing our old self-care, health, or fitness programs. Plans are going to be thought about and then dropped rather quickly during this time, so be flexible to changes, as it just comes with the territory. This is a good time to reevaluate our routines and habits, as well as the meaning around what we do for a living, so around our work and any services we provide with Mercury in Virgo.

~Mercury Retrograde in Leo:
Mercury will switch signs into Leo, during its Retrograde phase starting August 31st through September 5th, this is a time for learning or relearning what we love doing. Look back and analyze your past romantic relationships or creative projects. It’s also a time for preparation, rehearsal, and redoing things. It especially can be a good time for role playing something before you actually say or do it!

~Mercury in Rx transits the Sun:
Retrograde Mercury is aligned with the Sun in Virgo on August 26th, this placement lights up our thinking. This connection makes for a favorable time for processing recent ideas or events, and for looking at past problems or issues from a new perspective with a new understanding. Remember what we say or write during this time can have more of an impact for better or worse! There can some amazing new ideas that come through during this time, so be creative!

Mercury will start retracing its steps and go into direct motion on September 5th, this period of time is called the “Shadow” phase and that ends on Sept.19th.

What’s also interesting to note is that Mercury returns to 28 degrees Leo before moving direct again, and this is exactly the same position of the “Solar Eclipse” on August 21st. Retrograde Mercury is also aligned with Mars at this Eclipse point on September 2nd and 3rd, those days are going to be significant, but I will have more on this later.

On Monday afternoon, the Full Moon will come together when the Sun in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon is the peak or highest point of the Moon during its month long cycle, it’s an emotional energy and a time for romance, relationships, and fertilization. But it is also exciting feeling but tense in energy for all of us.

“The Full Moon is the time when your emotions come up to the surface for you to deal with them. If you work with them, you can clear yourself out energetically. The easiest way to do this is to make peace with the past during this time!”

This Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius helps us look at just how we are sharing our lives with others in all kinds of different relationships, be it the ones we have with loving partners or with a group of people in any part of our lives. The Full Moon’s energy is wise and truthful, so lies get told during this cycle and truths suddenly come out! It’s during this Lunar cycle that the night time is not even dark enough to hide our fears, hurts, emotional wounds, and flaws. Do yourself a favor and write out some questions to go over during this time, it can be a very eye-opening experience!

1) Are you happy right now?
2) Are you spending time with people that bring out your better qualities?
3) Do you feel like you sort of are invisible in a group?

It’s normal to want to feel like we belong in a group or relationship, and it’s hurtful to feel like we don’t. But whatever the case may be it can be helpful from time to time to go it alone, and get some peace and quiet. Take some space to remind yourself who you are as an individual! This gives you the time to do life on your terms in your own way. Taking some time away or alone helps you figure out who you are, so in your relationships, you don’t lose yourself! Eventually, relationships where one person gives themselves totally away break apart in one way or another. This Eclipse wants you to balance out being who you are while being in your relationships.

This Full Moon is a partial Lunar Eclipse, and this is a very potent strong energy that mainly affects our relationships. And that means all types of relationships, not just the ones between two people. This influence can suddenly trigger us into thinking about our relationships and how we belong. So perhaps the relationships you have with your co-workers, or the relationship you have with your health and bodies, and so forth. It is a time when a matter comes to light, so all that is hidden, suppressed, secret, or unknown can suddenly come out to the surface. As we become aware our emotions can rise up and we can get very emotional like under any Full Moon, but this is an Eclipse which is a Full Moon but 10x stronger.

Eclipses cause an inner conflict around what we feel is lacking in our lives, so where are you in your life going without or what are you going without is the question, and especially in your relationships with a partner or in groups. You suddenly and without little warning may realize what it is you want or need under this influence. Our deepest desires seem to build up and this causes a conflict, so lots of folks are either cutting off people or are breaking up in relationships right now! But this means we also can become strongly aware of a need to keep someone in our life as well.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipses are about the relationships we have with others because it is the polarity between the Sun and the Moon and that influence we are feeling within ourselves, as the Sun represents Self and the Moon represents our Emotional Self and the Unconscious. This connection prompts us to take a look more closely at our own needs, desires, lacks, and what we want in our lives.
The Sun is in Leo (personal) currently and the Moon is in Aquarius (impersonal), during this Eclipse, so let’s break that down.

Leo energy is how we creatively express ourselves, and how we boost our ego enough to receive pleasure and experience romance. Aquarius energy is about the group so more impersonal friendships. This Full Moon helps us learn how to create the balance between these polar opposite signs within ourselves. So between experiencing romance and friendship, and being able to freely express ourselves both personally and impersonally. Leo energy for all of us no matter what your Sign maybe is about being part of a team but keeping our individualism and Aquarius energy is about taking care of the group.

This afternoon we are entering into a new chapter with the Sun in Leo, one of self-discovery that can last all the way through the upcoming big Solar Eclipse on August 21st. Emotional breakdowns can occur for the next day while we shift onto this path.

There might be a moment here shortly where you realize you can’t get something you had your heart set on. This doesn’t mean you won’t ever get it. But for right now it’s not going to happen. And this can be around anything, it’s just something your heart wants.

However, this is happening for good reasons, be it timing or whatever. But this influence teaches us what our heart wants and needs are two different things! This means that house or new relationship may not happen right now, no matter how deeply you feel about it. And we just have to accept there are reasons we may not understand yet, but there’s still a reason. Evolving is funny like that, often what we want isn’t what we need to help us on our soul journey through life.

The way to handle this energy is to keep your heart open and don’t allow your mind or ego to make things worse. Because it can make you feel sad, confused, and even depressed! And then you start to focus on what is lacking, and negativity can set in. This takes you on a downward spiral and into the whole why or how you didn’t get something your heart wanted. This can make you angry and temper tantrums can occur. This does not solve your problems, it can drive you crazy and just makes you suffer.

Instead, it’s time to explore your heart and your options. Your heart wants other things that you don’t even know exist yet, things you haven’t even thought of! So it’s up to you to get on board and figure that out. So what’s your next wish or your next heart’s desire? Worrying and over thinking will only block you. But we are in a time where we might have to detach emotionally a little along this path to figure it all out. Patience is key.

There are going to be some challenges along this journey, with mental Mercury’s recent move into practical Virgo. This can have us hyper aware of the details and what we are lacking. So we can be more critical and analytical. If you don’t allow your mind to take over, and work on feeling what it is you want next, you will start to feel much better.

The Sun and Mars are both in Leo now, which means our hearts are strong. We are at the core of learning just how to obtain our hearts desires. This influence can help you get something you want and need. It just might be something different than what you had originally thought.

It’s time to stop thinking about what you don’t have or aren’t getting, and more on how you feel. Over the next few weeks we are detaching from whatever we wanted and by August 7th when the Lunar Eclipse occurs we will have done away with something or someone. It’s a time of letting go and releasing, be it people, things, or situations, as this Eclipse brings about powerful endings. So we may end up having to accept the fact that we aren’t getting something by that time. Then we will start to really work on a new dream and attaching to a new heart’s desire by the Big Solar Eclipse on August 21st because we will know more so what we want again.

It’s extremely important during this time, or as it’s called “Eclipse Season”, that you are kind and gentle on yourself. You can feel isolated and abandoned in some way, as you detach yourself from one dream and attach to a new one. As you feel this energy more, it’s important to ask yourself what it is your heart truly wants next. Just don’t expect an answer right away, this is a process. And it probably won’t all come together over night. Look to the Universe for signs and messages along the way to help guide you on this new journey.

Rare and Exciting Energy!

There are actually two New Moons in Leo over the course of the next month, which is actually quite unusual. All planets move by degrees that go from 0 to 29, and these two New Moons are very interesting indeed, because the first one that forms on July 23rd is at 0 Degrees and the second one on Aug. 21st is at 29 Degrees, so we have New Beginnings and Endings, and then a massive Solar Eclipse comes together as well on August 21st.

New Moons represent the end of one cycle and the beginning of another new 28-day cycle, this particular New Moon is when the Sun and Moon are both in Leo, and conjunct each other, so they work together to create an amazing rare energy that represents New Beginnings coming into our lives.

This New Moon represents all things Leo, so we should be focusing on some new ways to make certain parts of our lives better, like the romance in our relationships and in the relationships we have with our children, but also how we use our creativity and around any hobbies we do.
