Full Moons are about relationships and a Lunar Eclipse pushes us to look more deeply at our needs, lacks, and wants. This help us balance the Moon in Sagittarius and the Sun in Gemini energies. Sagittarius represents the higher mind, and Gemini the lower mind. Sagittarius energy is all about the adventure and thirst for knowledge, and ideas that help us expand our minds, as it teaches us to listen more to our intuition and to think in a bigger and broader way. Gemini energy is more interested in the here and now, and can help us to feel more comfortable with where we are in the present moment, in our own community and neighborhood. This Sagittarius energy wants us to explore and go beyond our normal boundaries.

Striking a balance between these Sun and Moon energies can be quite helpful during the Full Moon cycle. The Lunar Eclipse is about communication, attitude, and our sense of adventure. With these energies building up inside of us, now is the time when the Cosmos is pushing for us to let out our emotions. Later on, once this all is done, we will understand more, but for now, it can be extremely difficult to just not express our feelings, as they need to be let out.

There can be an inner crisis of consciousness, and a moment where we suddenly are made aware of a part of our lives we just have not been happy with. This influence allows us to explore what we need emotionally. This can be quite a challenging time for relationships, as they are either broken down or made even stronger. Whatever happens, we can feel quite emotionally charged up so this can lead to some Full Moon drama! Full Moon’s are a time of truth, and we can experience some sort of Ah-Ha moment, or epiphany and suddenly be made aware of something, often this about what is lacking in our lives. This knowingness or understanding can help to motivate us to take some positive actions, although the path getting there can be chaotic.

The Moon is involved in several challenging connections during its Full Moon phase. Like a tense square to fiery Mars in Aries, so our anger and passion can be fueled by this energy, and if we get emotional we can get quite upset.

The Moon is also opposite the planet of love & values, Venus in its Retrograde phase and Gemini. This can be a challenging time for couples and relationships, starting June 3rd through June 7th. Lessons are being handed out to even the strongest of relationships. It’s a time of patience with both lovers and friends. So if you are already committed to any relationship, be it personal or professional and you’ve already been having problems, this Eclipse can cause sole problems. Now for some folks, it can potentially end a relationship, usually, it’s the ones that need to be done in the first place.

On a global level anger can escalate quite quickly, and we can experience feeling angry and even sort of sad. There can be higher rates of crime and violence during this time. The weather can get rather pumped up as well, because whenever there’s is a lot of frustration among the masses, usually, the weather starts to get destructive! So there might be bad storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, and even earthquakes. The Eclipse influence brings up these angry feelings to the forefront, especially if we’ve been sitting with these feelings and just brewing for a while.

If you notice you are on the edge of losing your cool, find a healthy way to release that energy! We still are going to be under the Full Moon influence, which is a time to let go and release the feelings and things that are no longer working. Also, you can do some things to help keep you calm, by shifting your focus to things like exercise, meditation, and energy healing work like Reiki, and most importantly self-care. It’s all too easy to lose our tempers with a loved one, or we may end up having to deal with someone else who’s upset and take on their energy! If you’re out and about just remember people are already on edge. But through Astrology, you know, and that is a powerful thing, my friends. Just by understanding what’s is happening and why can make such a huge difference in how you handle and work through this energy because you already know.

Love Can Be Strange

The Lunar eclipse also opposes lovely Venus. Pay attention folks, Venus is in Retrograde currently, so you should be careful whom you get romantically involved with if you are single.you can end up lowering your standards if you get too lonely and get involved with someone who’s toxic and not a true soul mate, but a life lesson instead!

Also, Venus in Retrograde often brings back old friends and lovers, this is to work some sort of Karma out usually, so you both can have closure. This doesn’t mean because an ex-lover shows up that you are destined to be together, usually, it’s quite the opposite. But a very soulful meeting can happen, and some of you might find a soul mate as well. Be extra careful and commit to nothing until after Venus and Mercury are out of Retrograde.

The Cosmic lovers, Venus & Mars are also in a tense position together. During the Eclipse this can amp up conflicts, anger, and impulsive behavior! Women are more susceptible to losing their cool and getting irritated than the men right now.

During the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, we need to try to make some extra time and effort to promote peace and harmony no matter what we are doing. But that good feeling energy out there, filled with love and compassion. Being patient can be quite important, as it helps stop frustrations from growing out of control.

Focus on one task at a time, and concentrate all your energies on it, rather than falling into the heavier energies of the Eclipse as it can take up most of your time and energy. Staying busy doing tasks will help you work through your frustrations, which makes it a good time to organize your life, declutter, and make space so that better energies can come into your life.

All about Eclipse Season

During an Eclipse Season, there are two or three Eclipses, and it lasts for around 36 days. During this time the Full Moon’s are part of the Lunar Eclipse and the New Moon is part of a Solar Eclipse. This Eclipse Season starts on June 1st and ends on July 8th. These energies will be felt most during this time. There are three Eclipses this time around,

June 5th – Full Moon in Sagittarius – Lunar Eclipse

June 21st – New Moon in Cancer – Solar Eclipse

July 5th Full – Moon in Capricorn Lunar Eclipse

If you happen to have a Birthday fall during or around the Eclipses, this next year can be full of interesting twists and turns and full of exciting changes. Eclipse Seasons are always full of strange energy, as out of the ordinary experiences just seem to happen and often there are some shocking surprises along the way as well. But remember good surprises occur as well. These influences can put us on a path we have no choice but to go down, but these are strong lessons we must learn to grow from. And usually, they are a necessity to help us become whom we are meant to be. Eclipses are interesting as they don’t seem to have any rhyme or reason to them, some folks can experience life-changing events while others experience nothing different or out of the ordinary. This is not about luck or curses, it because each of us has our own unique experiences on this journey through life, and the energies of the Eclipses are going to affect us the way they were destined to.

Eclipse Season is usually unpredictable, this energy can bring us to our breaking point as the pressure builds. We may have strong reactions that we didn’t even see coming or expect, so stay mindful of how you are reacting, and sometimes no reaction is the best statement you can make. Many of you will experience some sort of random Ah-Ha moment. Often both situations are happening all at once. Eclipses are intense and often they put us through some seriously challenging lessons that usually would take a much longer time to go through, so we are being thrown into the pressure cooker and expected to rise above any challenges we face. Things like relationships that you might have thought were going to work out, suddenly end fast, or a project you have been working on for a very long time that was about to take off suddenly has issues, and is held back now to get something fixed. The bottom line is even if we feel like we have everything all worked out, this Eclipse energy can leave us feeling chaotic and out of control if we let it.

However, don’t worry and fear this upcoming Eclipse Season, because the change that is being thrust upon us needs to happen for a reason, so it will in one way or another. Destiny is taking a hand and fate is in control. Even though this first Eclipse Season of the summer can be challenging at times, it also can bring in some much-needed positive changes, especially after it’s over it occurs.

February Astro Weekly Update

2020 definitely started with a bang, as the energies have been somewhat unhinged. There’s been plenty of stressful situations to deal with. This is partly due to Uranus, the planet of changes, shocks, and surprises making so many connections to the other planets over the last month. But we are finally past the intense January New Moon energy, that was connected to Uranus. These challenging energies have been quite difficult to get through, but you passed the test! Now is the time to join together and raise the vibrational energy of our planet and heal ourselves.

During the month of January, we also had to deal with the super-intense Eclipses, and a strong meeting between Saturn and Pluto, which will continue to playout through most of the year! Both of these Cosmic events have brought about many unexpected changes and endings. And there have been many sad and even tragic deaths as well, as lots of people and animals have been crossing over. Often Eclispe season seems to be a doorway where us humans tend to leave to the go home.

Mercury Retrograde!
February’s energies might be a bit easier to navigate, but we will have to deal with Mercury’s Retrograde (backward) phase that technically starts on February 16th. And starting Feb 4th, the pre-shadow period before the actual Retrograde begins, and we’ll have to deal with communication breakdown of all kinds, so the energies can get wonky! Mercury rules over our way of thinking and processing. It also tends to mess with anything electronic, so things like our phones, computers, or Wi-Fi all can act strangely. This cycle often brings up issues with water as well. There can be some adjustment time, as our perceptions change. This cycle lasts through the end March.

February Full “Snow” Moon
There’s a potent Full Moon aka the Snow Full Moon on February 9th in the sign of Leo. This is a time of passion, as we are motivated by a sweet trine connection the Full Moon makes to heated-up Mars. This can give us an extra boost of energy we so desperately need to help us get something going. This influence helps us tap right into our intuition, so we can be quite Psychic. Pay attention!

This is a time when we can gain more insight and clarity about our life’s purpose, and what we are supposed to be doing. Hopefully, this influence can give you some direction, and help you find the right paths to follow that will lead you to your goals and dreams. It’s important to trust your gut instincts and inner guidance during this February Full Moon.

If you were having any issues around Jan 24th in your relationship, those energies might pick back up and tensions can arise, and you can lose control and have a bit of a meltdown, or you may get quite angry! Stay away from people who get easily agitated or upset, don’t allow them to take you there, simply ignore and move on. Leaving those situations alone will save you from much unneeded stress. This also is not the best time to be traveling, especially with Mercury slowing down to enter its Retrograde phase. There can be delays and issues. And the weather will be quite unpredictable, so pay attention to weather updates.

Aries Season
The Sun will be in the sign of Aries from March 20, 2019 through April 19, 2019. And Aries Season begins! But did you know this affects each and every one of us, no matter your Sun Sign. With the Sun moving into this fiery but also empowering energy, we are awakened and there can be some great things are on the horizon. This is a time of new beginnings, as the light of the Sun slowly takes over the dark. We are more determined and motivated under the Sun in Aries cycle, but we should be careful about being impulsive and hasty. Our personal goals become very important, and there’s a strong urge to move forward and get things done under this new zodiac cycle. We are motivated to initiate something by taking the lead and making our own path. We notice our gut instincts more under this influence, so it’s good time to listen to them and pay attention! We are all going to be moving at a much faster pace now, and for some folks, this might be a lot faster than what they’re used to.

Spring Equinox
Spring is a season of growth and rejuvenation, and this Astrological New Year is urging you to explore new directions. During the Spring Equinox the energies can be extremely potent. It’s a time to think about what you want to manifest in your life next. Of course we all want to be healthy and have lots of money, but this is a time when we should get more detailed when making our “Intentions” List. So it’s a great time for setting powerful intentions or making out Wish Lists, and for doing energy work of any kind.

So get comfortable and take a breathe, and ask the Universe or whatever it is you believe in to bring in what you need and choose. And get a little detailed about it what you want to happen. Ask them to put you on the path towards what will make you happy! Think about what kind of things you want to happen next. What do you need to move forward and obtain your goals? Write it all down and make it perfectly clear to the Universe what it is your asking for.

Lots of people celebrate this season with religious or spiritual celebrations. But we must not forget the history, and that all of these festivities stem from the fact, that the Spring Equinox is first and foremost a major “Astrological Event.” This event is actually more about about the Sun’s light expanding, and it’s shift into the sign of Aries, the first Zodiac sign of the Astrological Calendar. This light represents the promise of a greater more warm life-changing energy coming into our lives.

And Easter is just one of those celebrations that actually began many Moon’s ago, as Eggs and Bunnies originally were symbols of fertility and sex, and represented new life beginning. Unfortunately, like most holidays it has been commercialized and even moved to a date on the calender that doesn’t match up with its origins and the Spring Equinox.

If you’ve been struggling through the Winter months, then consider this event to be just like a calendar New Year! In fact, it’s much stronger in energy because it is a Equinox. Be inspired that this is a new cycle and a renewed energy, and remember sometimes you have to believe that something can and will change.

With the planet of LOVE & VALUES shifting into intellectual AQUARIUS, we have a more high-minded approach to matters of the heart, because we are more emotionally detached in our relationships.

If single you may desire someone to love that shares your same values. Still following our hearts leads us to seek out not only a partner but a true friend. If your already committed than you will be less interested in what mundane tasks you share, but you can feel more like discovering new, different, or unique ways of relating to your partner.

We are drawn to the unconventional, as we seek out freedom and independence in our intimate relationships and close personal friendships. We also might need some space in social situations. Even though we aren’t as attached this is a good time to meet new people. Get out there and participate in life and be social, perhaps attend events with folks who share common interests and goals.

Under this Aquarius influence, we can be extremely faithful to our partners and friends but it has to be on our own terms! The Sun is shifting into transformational, mysterious Scorpio and “Scorpio Season” officially begins. This transit runs through November 21st. The sign of Scorpio is notoriously known for being the darkest, (symbolically speaking) most mysterious, and psychological sign in the Zodiac, as it explores the soul deeply while under the light of the Sun.

Scorpio energy for each and every one of us is about depth, intimacy, and transformation. Anything fake or false will be shown for what it truly is while the Sun is in this sign, so if something or someone is superficial it simply won’t work for us at this time, only the real deal will do! Scorpio is the detective of the Zodiac, therefore we are more interested in getting to the bottom of our problems, to uncover what’s been hidden, suppressed, or unseen, or even unknown. Under this energy, you might actually enjoy all that is odd, taboo, or different. Anything that’s just plain or average may not be enough during this time.

Over the last month during Libra season we worked towards being fair and equal. But while under all this Scorpio energy we accept the fact that “life isn’t fair” and understand that pain and suffering are actually part of the process of life. The more shadow side of Scorpio energy is we can become more easily jealous, paranoid, obsessive, and manipulative. And this energy also can cause some folks to become obsessive, going on and on about issue or problem, over and over again, and even if you get nowhere you might find it hard to stop once you have started on whatever you are focused on. Despite how scary or creepy this all might sound, Scorpio is still part of the Zodiac Wheel, and we all have a little Scorpio in each of us.

Astro Tip
Curious Mercury and loving Venus are also in the sign of Scorpio where they will stay throughout Scorpio Season. This means our soul, hearts, and minds are all being ruled by Scorpio energy, therefore, some of you will be breaking things down to rise up once again, and perhaps resurrect yourselves in some way. This can be an amazing energy to work with if you want to finish something in your life, after all, Scorpio Season is a time of endings, hence why we choose to celebrate Halloween during this time, as it originated from the Day of the Dead. But this also signifies a time of rebirth, and you can rise again.

During this time of breakdown we might face some real challenges, also with larger than life Jupiter currently in Scorpio. There are so many planets either in Scorpio or moving through it, that we are already starting to see its influence as it’s a bit of a darker time, where lots of folks are getting sick and quite a few are choosing to leave this earthly plane and crossover. Venus goes Retrograde in the sign of Scorpio. 

Every 18 months, Venus the planet of love, relationships, and money appears to go backward. Let’s start off with the good news, Venus transiting in Retrograde can help you take a break from your love life, so you can take a step back and maybe gain a better perspective about how you are really feeling about your relationships, and maybe your financial situation. You can take this time to ask yourself if your romantic world is really making you happy, and if there’s something you need to change.

During Venus in Retrograde your love life may enter a fated time, where giving and receiving love and affection just doesn’t come as naturally and can actually be more difficult than usual. Old friends, lovers, partners (both intimate and business), and family members can come back around and may suddenly reappear, and you might even relive past life experiences to sort out some Karmic Issues. People often don’t realize Venus rules over our money situations as well. It’s traditionally believed that during a Venus Retrograde phase that you shouldn’t invest or buy luxury items.

Venus in Retrograde is a time to go inward and get in touch with your heart, it’s a time of introspection and to maybe reassess your love life and finances. You may become particularly interested in someone or something of value that would bring you pleasure. A soul mate might show up, as destined encounters are very possible during this period. But don’t be fooled, because you can experience feelings that a chance encounter with an old flame is inevitable. But it usually doesn’t last for long, instead they come back around for us to review our old relationship and maybe remember something and do some forgiving and healing. It’s just best to wait until Venus turns back direct and out of Retrograde to make a move forward in a relationship or financial endeavor.

During this particular Venus in Retrograde, if you happen to have the Sun, Moon, or your Rising (Ascendant) Sign in either the sign of Libra or Taurus, this can be a particularly strong cycle for you. So you may want to take some extra special precautions. This can be an important time in your life when you’re just rubbed the wrong way by a lover or friend, or even business partner, and you may feel like reconsidering if you want to be in your current relationship and if you’re happy or not. 

Getting married under this energy is not recommended. So if someone asks you to marry them or vice versa it’s best to wait until after the Retrograde cycle is over. It is not a time for heavy financial or even personal commitments either. It’s just difficult for anyone in a new relationship to gain any kind of commitment or have longevity while Venus is moving backwards. Marriages and business relationships formed now probably won’t last. If you are going to make a commitment in love or around money might I suggest you wait until the Retrograde phase is over in mid-November. This goes for any ceremonies that are a re-commitment of some kind as well.

“SUN IN LIBRA”

Happy Birthday, Libra! And Happy Libra Season to all.

The Sun shifts from practical, detailed Virgo into the sign of harmony and balance, Libra.

This is our Autumnal Equinox, and we will experience equal hours of daylight as darkness.

Today is something to talk about because not only is the Sun moved into Libra, but so has the “great messenger” Mercury. So our core self and minds are in sync, besides the constant need to for balance these aspects turn our focus towards our relationships and brings in the energy of cooperation and equality.

You will feel sharp and aware of issues of injustices or unfair treatment of others, which may be a direct result of you taking a stand for yourself or others, especially if it’s around those you love. It’s easier to see all sides to most situations, so remember you can’t make everyone happy, because decision making can prove to be difficult. You might start playing the role of peacemaker under this influence, so you can be quite diplomatic when it comes to dealing with problems or business dealings.

We desire peace and harmony and create that energy both aware and unconsciously. Be careful to not seek out the approval of others too much during this cycle, as it can be difficult to know who’s telling the truth sometimes, follow your gut instincts during Libra Season as our inner awareness and psychic-self is at its strongest. You have an extra boost of intuition now with mental Mercury now in in the sign of Libra, as well, for most of October, so it’s just natural to study other folks and their behaviors and body language, which can tell you an awful lot about a person, go ahead and try it, you will see exactly what I am talking about. 

This transit can especially affect those with Libra Suns signs or Rising signs. Libra’s should feel a great big jolt of confidence and playfulness over these next four weeks, and the rest of you may be made more aware of how to balance what is required of you both emotionally and physically to achieve balance.

Mercury enters the sign of proud and expressive Leo today! This transit will be in this sign until September 5th, which is longer than usual due to Mercury going Retrograde, from July 25 through August 18, which is usually a challenging time. But this blog is about Mercury’s time in the sign of Leo, which affects all of us!

With Mercury in the sign of Leo our thinking is very strong, so we can feel more confident and tend to demand respect, and can get quite upset if we feel someone is talking down to us or is not listening to what we are saying. One thing we should be careful of especially once the Sun Enters Leo around July 22nd is just how aggressive, pushy, and over bearing we can get. There will be a whole lot of Leo energy swirling around and this means some folks won’t know how to handle this fiery energy, so be mindful and if you feel like your going to Roar take a break and get space!

It’s a good time to focus on your goals, and the more magnificent the goal, the better. This cycle can help you organize your thoughts to concentrate for long periods of time, which can help you meet your goals. Our minds our full of energy and our will power is strong, we are full of perseverance, and have a stronger sense of purpose.

Our minds may just naturally go to the positive, so we can be more kind, easy-going, and cheerful, even though on occasion we can be quite opinionating, stubborn, arrogant, and to forceful.

The little actions we take do really matter in this energy, but the details aren’t as important because we want to get to the point and have some fun. We are much more expressive and a little dramatic, and can do well when we get an opportunity to express ourselves, so giving speeches or telling stories can go quite well.

We also can be very charming, convincing, and persuasive because we are full of confidence and pride, especially when we speak or write. Therefore, we should be mindful to listen to people to hear them and not just to reply, because we might want to chat a lot more then usual. Also watch for gossip, it is all too easy to start talking about other folks during this time, and we can get wrapped up in what we’re talking about and end up over sharing with the wrong people.

With the planet Mercury ruling our thoughts and how we express ourselves in the sign of Leo, we may be particularly concerned with our looks and how we present ourselves, under this energy people feel more like dressing up as we are on the grand stage of life and everyone else is the audience. This doesn’t necessarily mean we will want attention from everyone however, we can be very picky and choosy about who we draw to us and be actually more closed off or even shy emotionally about our deeper truths.

It is NOT a good time to starve yourself, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t diet or eat healthier, but make sure to eat several small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar level. Depriving yourself will not go well and can make you feel rather aggressive and moody! You might just crave extra saucy, fatty food, so don’t go overboard.

After working hard we also will feel more like playing just as hard, so set time aside to allow your inner child to explore and have some fun, this is a very natural way of being under this Leo energy and if we choose to ignore it and not allow ourselves some time to relax and enjoy something we love we can become quite irritated and lonely.

Well here we are folks, yet another planet is going into Retrograde! This time it’s Mars. Unlike when Mercury goes Retrograde, and the world’s electronics tend to go wonky, we will need to pay extra attention to our “actions” because Mars rules over our passions, drive, motivation, and physical movement!
With Mars in Retrograde moving in any direction can be difficult. This is a time when we seem to struggle with getting tasks done or we leave things incomplete. Instead of moving around physically, we tend to travel more mentally. It’s a good time to redo, renovate, and repair things instead of pushing to move forward and taking on new projects!
~Mars will be in its Retrograde cycle from June 26th through August 27th!
The planet Mars moves fast so it only goes Retrograde every two years! It’s probably a good idea to think first before starting anything and when taking certain actions, because this cycle tends to lower our energy levels and can cause frustrations as obstacles come up around whatever we make an effort to get done. Most Astrologers agree that during Mars Retrograde we should be extra cautious and if at all possible avoid activities that are considered to be risky or demanding. Lots of folks end up in minor accidents or fail to judge a situation correctly during this time.
Even during this Planetary cycle, life goes on!
For 11 weeks while Mars is Retrograde, we will have to make important decisions even though it’s not the best time. So for example, if you’re unemployed, you’re going to want to accept a new job offer. During Mars Retro you probably will feel the same lack of energy or vitality in any part of your life your take on. So for this reason alone, it’s not the best time to start anything brand new, whether it’s a job, relationship, (sexual or otherwise) or even an argument. If you’ve already started something before this cycle began, it is time to slow down, cool yourself off, and reassess what you want and desire for now before taking any further action.
It’s also not a great time to enter a sexual relationship, committed or not. But most of us don’t want to be celibate, so you probably won’t be. But if you’re planning any important events make sure to pick a time when the planetary influences are working to your advantage, and for some, the Retrogrades are a better time, but let me point out that it’s rare!! But if you pay attention to the planets or have an Astrologer on hand you’ll learn how different planetary cycles affect you.
The bottom line is while Mars is Retrograde its energy is lacking, and this is the planet of Physical Energy, so this is why starting any “new” sexual relationships are seen as being an issue. It’s doubtful once this cycle is over your desire for someone new will continue, or they might feel differently and you can end up breaking off entirely or worse being “ghosted” by your new lover.
However, it’s actually a good time to figure out what you do want around the parts of our lives that Mars rules over such as what makes you feel passionate, driven, sexual, or angry! Even if you have to wait until after this cycle is over to go after it! This is a highly intense energy, which means it’s a good time to wait things out because most anything you start during this cycle will be short-lived. The Universe might grab your attention and lead you towards someone, but this doesn’t mean you should act on it immediately! Take a step back from starting anything brand-new or making any permanent plans until the end of August when Mars is back on track heading in the right direction once again.
This change in energy isn’t to reach a final destination point, it’s not something that lasts, so we shouldn’t change course or stray too far from our normal routines. This includes starting new jobs or relationships! Even though at first it may seem amazing, later on once Mars is back to normal things can happen. It’s important not to jump or to be impulsive just to be with someone new or start up something completely different. We should take into consideration all the planets that are currently in their Retrograde cycles and how this affects us and our lives.
Timing is important even if you work very hard and feel like you’re prepared to go after what you want to accomplish, but if your timing is off you may not get things done or succeed. So for most of us, it’s best to wait until after Mars goes direct on August 27, and start new things at that time.
It just might be a time that when we must work on adjusting our expectations and calmly moving through our frustrations that get in the way of what it is we really want to accomplish. Therefore, if you have activities you want to start, take a step back and re-consider them first. Take this time to pause and reflect on your life and what your next moves will be, then once Mars is back direct you’ll be ready to go!

During a ‘Full Moon’ you have an opportunity to bring about some positive changes in your life if you use this energy wisely. It either can increase the positive energy around you or it can be an emotional wrecking ball, the choice is yours. This guide is a helpful reminder about how to work with the ‘Full Moon’ and its energies.

Remember a ‘Full Moon’ disperses a lot of energy, and that energy pours into each and every one of us. So the key to achieving success during a ‘Full Moon’ is to stay calm and embrace its positive effects. Whatever is going on with your mind, body and spirit will certainly be felt much stronger during a ‘Full Moon’, and our emotions can seem extremely intense. A ‘Full Moons’ energy is very powerful, so it’s important to know where you’re directing it. You can start by staying focused on positive intentions from your heart. Which means being real and authentic with yourself.

We’ve all heard of how the ‘Full Moon’ affects human behavior, causing chaos; as it fills up emergency rooms, but we also see random acts of crime spike dramatically during a Full Lunar cycle. Not only does the Moon actually create the tides in the ocean, science has also proven that the ocean literally ‘swells’ during a ‘Full Moon.’ The human body is made up of around 70% water. 2. Think positive thoughts!

During the ‘Full Moon’ each month, you have very powerful, strong energies working in your corner. So if you can balance your emotions and focus on positive thoughts, they’ll be energized and multiplied. If you spend even a short amount of time upon waking and before going to sleep, visualizing what you truly desire, or on what’s good or positive in your life while being thankful for your blessings…it can be magical! Remember “the attitude of gratitude.”

For example, write a gratitude list and some thank you notes to the Universe. Take walks and take in the beauty that is around you. Look in a mirror and say positive affirmations to yourself, (yes this really works.) Visualize positive thoughts and/or desires being sprinkled with “Moon Dust” and watch them grow like flowers in a garden.

3. Visualize your Dreams manifesting.

The ‘Full Moon’ is the right time to do manifestation work around releasing what is no longer working or serving you. So sharpen your techniques by using your imagination to set goals. Take the time to write what you would like to manifest and what energy you’d like to see gone or are done with. You could even make a Vision Board with pictures that represent your goals, it can be the actual goal or the word that represents your dreams and wishes, place them on a cork board, make a collage…and hang it up on a wall, where you can see it every day. This puts you in a constant state of awareness and helps bring the energies of you want to you. When you spend time focusing on your dreams and goals, or Setting Intentions as it’s called, during the ‘Full Moon’ it can give you an energy boost!

4. Practice Meditation alone or with others.

The ‘Full Moon’ pours out so much energy, that meditating during one can create a calm and still energy that is profoundly strong. Finding a sacred space to practice meditation can help tremendously. There’s a lot of groups that meditate during a ‘Full Moon’, so look for spiritual groups, centers, or online groups that come together to meditate. It can be very powerful healing and manifest work.

5. Send others blessings, be of service, practice acts of kindness.

Having this powerful energy at your disposal makes a ‘Full Moon’ the opportune time to pay it forward! Send healing energies, forgiveness, white light and energy out… out to everyone, you can think of, including strangers. Send loving and kind energy to your friends and family. Then go deeper and send peaceful energy out to the world (which we need more than ever), think of the places in the world that are experiencing strife, hardships, poverty, or war. This can open doors for those who are in need.

Whatever you believe in or faith you might have…you can’t deny the way you feel during a ‘Full Moon,’ so at the very least take one small step within your heart and try to work with its energy. Test your theories and have a Blessed Full Moon!

It’s been a busy week on the Astrological front with the Cosmos making some pretty big shifts!

There’s been a lot of chaos over this last week, and this Sunday another planet is about to make a major move. Pluto, will start moving backward just like Saturn and Jupiter and into its Retrograde cycle.

By this summer there will be 8 planets in Retrograde, and that’s a whole lot of energy moving backward, so our lives really will slow down!

This Pluto Retrograde cycle gives us a chance to look back over the past four months, to look over our past accomplishments, and our failures as well. There’s a whole lot of revising and reassessing going on, and some of you are starting to feel blocked or restricted. The planet Pluto represents things like transformation, power struggles, and evolution. Over the next few months is a good time to think about what you’d like to let go of and release from your life, your mind, and your heart. Then you can do something with what you’ve learned once Pluto and Saturn move forward again from their Retrograde cycles in September.

Is there a bad habit you can’t quit or are you stuck in a job you can’t stand? Maybe you want out of a toxic situation or relationship. Pluto Retrograde shows you what you need to release and let go of.

~Sunday will be especially intense with Saturn, Pluto, and Mars all in the sign of Capricorn. But the whole weekend may be a bit much to handle.

The best way to describe how Pluto Retrograde affects you is to understand your personal relationship with your own power, or the power that resides inside you! This is a time where you can explore your Soul and recognize what you have control over, and especially what you don’t.

The good thing is a few days ago the Sun moved into the sign of Taurus, and you’ll like this energy much better than the past several weeks. It will be a calmer and hopefully peaceful energy.

On Sunday Pluto begins its Retrograde cycle until late September. It’s a time to begin a very personal self-analysis.

On Monday Mars makes a nice connection to Jupiter which can make us feel excited and inspired to do something new.

April 24th the planet Venus will move into the sign of Gemini. The Gemini Sun folks might really enjoy this three-week cycle. While the rest of us can have a really good time.

Venus makes a challenging connection to Wounded Chiron, and our relationships can be painful, so it’s time to have a chat perhaps and begin some deeper healing this week.

Pay attention on April 25-27, when Mars makes a strong conjunction. This will be a strong time for arguments, power struggles, and even fights. Watch for others who like to cause drama and for those who tend to already be unhinged or hot-headed. It’s all about how you choose to react!

A harmonious NEW MOON comes together on December 18 & 19, and in the sign of adventurous Sagittarius, which makes it the best time for all of the signs of the Zodiac to reflect on what it is they truly want to let go of or release, and what they want to open up to and create space for. Holiday Season

The best days to get that Holiday shopping done is December the 17 & 23, and then around the 27 & 28 for those of you who celebrate or observe other Holidays.

Mercury is in Retrograde just through the 22nd so you might have some issues with any new electronics and devices you buy during this time. Just keep receipts and warranties in place!

Also, this can be a good time to get a good deal on electronics, not just because of the Holidays but due to Mercury being in Retro, just be careful Mercury is the trickster of the Zodiac and you must keep your wits about you if don’t want to get taken!

Traveling during a Mercury in Retrograde phase isn’t ideal and coupled with it being the Holiday Season doesn’t make it any better! So expect travel delays, this is normal at this time. Try to not be inflexible, roll with it and come up with backup plans ahead of time, it could seriously help you make this time saner so you can enjoy your holiday.

This also means the weather will get a little crazy, which has already begun since Mercury went into its Retro cycle last week, with 10 inches of snow in Georgia to the fires in California. Packages and mail may get delayed, so get your stuff out early just in case. Do not wait till the last minute this Holiday Season, because some deliveries will be slowed down and some companies will even cancel out orders due to being so overwhelmed by all this energy, especially the week before Christmas.
