It’s time to start listening to your messages, I’m talking about the messages the Universe, the Cosmos or whatever you want to call it is trying to send to you. This week there’s going to be many signs from the Universe and they can show up in the most unusual, bizarre, and strange ways. But there will be some that are very clear. Many people believe that if they get a sign more than once especially if you get them twice, and definitely if you get them three times, that is not just a coincidence, it’s not something you should just ignore because it truly means something.

We have been under an extremely intense energy, that’s also been sort of a sad really since October 3rd, with Venus the planet of love & money in Retrograde. But as of the 16th, Venus has gone direct again finally, so relationships and our finances can finally get back on track again. If you broke up with somebody during this time and you’re hoping to mend your relationships perhaps, you probably have more of a fighting chance with Venus back and moving the right way again. This Transit can possibly help you reconcile, but if that’s not always how these things work out, so if that’s what you are experiencing then the relationship was likely never meant to be or was supposed to end. So it’s been interesting but it’ll be even more interesting to see how this plays out over the coming weeks ahead because many of my clients and blog readers have had to come to terms with their relationships and make some very hard choices. Venus in Retrograde brought back a lot of old and past lovers, but most of these relationships didn’t probably work out, especially if they were brand new, but there was a reason that you needed to hang out with that person and I’m sure if you don’t already know you will understand it all soon enough!
Mercury went into its complete Retrograde cycle on the 16th! And this Mercury in Retrograde is proving to be quite interesting thus far, it’s time to double-check everything you’re doing even if you think you’ve already done so, at least through December the 6th when this cycle ends. There will be a period of time after December 6th where communications can be kind of wonky, so for two weeks after we just have to get adjusted to Mercury going back to its normal pace, while it’s in it’s after Retrograde “Shadow Period.”

With the Full Moon in Gemini approaching and Neptune in the sign of Pisces moving forward the same day, many of you will have some sort of visit from your relatives or loves ones in your dreams. Often our loved ones come to visit us with messages, but sometimes they just come to check on us as well. Mercury is the plant that governs over communication, travel, how we express ourselves, how we talk to others and ourselves, and our thought process, and often electronics due to being part of communication get caught up in there somewhere. When Mercury is in its Retro cycle or appears to be moving backward, things can go a little haywire here on planet Earth from its influence.
Throughout this post, I will be referring to Mercury in Retrograde as Mercury Rx. Rx is the actual symbol used in Astrology for “Retrograde,” and it helps me shorten this down a bit.
I have been writing about what not to do during a Mercury in Rx cycle for many years now. And even though I believe strongly in the advice I give, especially about how we shouldn’t be signing contracts or starting new jobs or relationships, or going on any long distance trips, it just seems to get to a point where I’m constantly telling only the negative side of things of this aspect, which really is a drag. And then it feels like the Cosmos really has no other point of having the planets go backward or Retrograde but to simply annoy us! Which isn’t how it works.
So here are some facts about a Mercury in Rx cycle. Each Mercury in Rx cycle lasts for 3 weeks, and that’s not including its “Shadow Phases”, which are before and after a Mercury in Rx cycle. Each shadow phase lasts for three weeks as well, and they usually occur two times a year but sometimes even up to three times. So that makes each Mercury in Rx cycle a nearly two-month event, but mind you not everyone feels this fully during the whole cycle. Some people feel it more before, some folks have a harder time during, and a rare few more after the actual Retrograde cycle occurs and more so during the after Shadow phase. Everyone is different.
Being born during a Mercury in Rx cycle myself, I fully understand its effects on a deep level and just what really happens during its cycle. I’ve had my fair share of intimate Mercury Rx moments over the years, and I could go on and on! In some ways, I live in this electronic glitchy world full of misunderstandings and little mishaps all the time! Yes, heavy sigh, it’s frustrating but what can one do but learn from it. Therefore, I am pretty use to it, but still thoroughly annoyed by it! LOL.
But with all of that being said, I have also learned that “Energy Follows Thought” bottom line! No matter what the Cosmos is doing, I have proven to myself time and time again that if you focus on what it is you really want, you can ride the waves of any negative Astrological influence and come out of it with something more positive. Not to say that if you make a list of what not to do during Mercury in Rx that you won’t have issues, because whatever part of your Astrology “Birth Chart” Mercury Rx is transiting is the part of your life it will affect the most, and with this particular aspect there’s not a lot you can do to get around it, but I am here to guide you and try to help to the best of my ability.
Since I became aware of Mercury and it’s Retrograde cycles at a very young age, I have learned a great deal about how to align my energy better with the Cosmos, to seek and find balance. So I thought I would shed some light on how one can be productive during a Mercury in Rx cycle. So instead of explaining what NOT to do during this time, let’s focus on the progress we can make instead.
Astrologers are constantly explaining how during this cycle, communication is broken down, well that made me think about when something or someone is broken down it can be an opportunity to rebuild the energy back up again, and to align better with our soul path in life. Which means perhaps all the things glitching out or not working during this time, or the misunderstandings that seem to come along with Mercury in Rx, are being brought to us for a reason. Perhaps for a higher purpose, maybe to help us understand something we otherwise may not have noticed, and to bring us clarity! But you may be scratching your head and thinking with everything breaking down like computers or our Wifi, how do these random annoyances have any meaning or substance spiritually? The answer is simple, Mercury is telling you to UNPLUG and take a break, the Cosmos, the Universe is giving us a big time out! It’s time to get quiet and stop the constant chatter, get away from the constant movement and stimulus that plagues our lives nowadays. Listen to your higher-self and your spirit! And no it’s not conducive to be unplugged and miss work, or run away from the world everytime Mercury goes into Rx, I get it! But it does mean you can take a Vacation for even a day or two, and simply unplug from the outside noise. If that’s just impossible to do during this time than take just 30 mins a day during Mercury in Rx and really every day and unplug, and go meditate and recharge your own personal batteries. This is a time to find ways to turn your mind off, no more worrying or thinking constantly.
Sometimes we have to start over to achieve our goals, and during a Mercury Rx cycle, it should be the rule of thumb! It’s important to not get bent all out of shape and frustrated, and realize this is a time to re-work, re-do, re-learn, and do re-search. Don’t feel bad, trust me I can sympathize as I have already mentioned, I was born during a Mercury in Rx cycle and I have learned throughout the years once I do something, to do it again, so every time I listen and redo things the issues or situations I am involved in often seem to work out for the better. Just ask my second husband! Yes, I had to even redo marriage! But that’s the extreme example. The bottom line is it can be very frustrating for those folks who aren’t used to it. Taking the time to redo everything all the time frankly can be exhausting, but take my advice, as during a Mercury in Rx cycle it’s the best thing you can do for yourself!
Even the planet Mercury itself is going back through a part of your own personal Astrology “Birth Chart” right now, and a certain sign of the Zodiac as well, and therefore it’s backtracking to help you learn and understand something you’ve probably already have done or been through before. You have to take steps back during Mercury in Rx to move forward.

How to be Productive during Mercury in Retrograde:
REWORK SCHEDULES: Take a look at your schedule and ask: What’s working or not? Be flexible during this phase, and just know you may have to change your game plan. Think about letting go of any responsibilities that aren’t yours or that aren’t working for you. It’s a time for cutbacks.
DECLUTTER: It’s a great time to get organized and get rid of stuff, and so many of you need to clear out old junk anyway! During a Mercury Rx cycle is the best time to get into your closet, basement, shed, or attic and rid of what you don’t use anymore. I mean go through everything, even old junk drawers and make sure and recycle. Remember when you get rid of old stuff, you are getting rid of the old energy as well that’s attached to it, and you are making room for new fresh energy to come in, which can bring in new beginnings, wealth, prosperity, and better health and overall Karma. Let’s not forget it’s a great time to dump Karmic debt as well. Also, remember your intellectual property as well, as it’s called nowadays, so anything to do with your online stuff, and smartphones and computers, try organizing and getting rid of old files, this will help you tremendously.
REVISIT: If there’s any friends or family that you haven’t contacted in a long time for whatever reason, now is the time to make amends and open your heart up to healing. Working on these relationships can help heal old emotional wounds, which is beneficial to your spiritual evolution. Catch up with old friends, go have coffee or meet up for dinner. Just make sure the people you choose to revisit are not dysfunctional or abusive, as that seems to be a reoccurring theme during Mercury in Rx, to help remind you of how you felt in some way so you can heal it.
SELF-CARE: It’s important to take care of yourself during this cycle, so working on self-care can be very helpful. Take it easy and make sure to eat right, exercise and move around more. Spend less time being plugged into the net or social media if at all possible. Start some sort of new routine that benefits you and your well-being.
CHANGE THE ENERGY: It’s time to change the energies up in your life! This is a time to clear space and energy, so add some nice candles to your home to help burn off old energies and invite new energy in. Put some color in your home or office and redecorate with pictures that make you feel good. Add fresh flowers and burn some incense. Bless and release the old energy that’s been in your home or office, and bring in a higher vibrational energy. There are many different ways to go about this. Just try it, and get creative and you’ll see and feel the difference.
BE FLEXIBLE: This is very important, so I am going to repeat it again, allow the energies to flow around you and stop trying to control everything!! Perhaps write a letter and let the Universe know what you’re trying to create in your life, and then sit back and relax. Just follow what feels natural and don’t fight, argue, or push others even if you feel totally frustrated.
REINVENT: Take some time to think about your past successes and bring new light to them, enjoy what you have created in your life, instead of trying to constantly manifest something new and different. Make sure to reuse what’s in your home and repurpose whatever you can, perhaps some DIY projects should be on the agenda during this period.
REWORK AND REDO: Work on any projects that you have already started and never finished. Work on anything you feel passionate about, but this time finish them to completion and enjoy the work you are doing. If there’s something you just couldn’t get done or finish, now is the time to redo it and fix it! Mercury in Rx cycles really does help us finish up old business.
ORGANIZE: Do you have 3000 pics on your phone or computer just hanging around? Well, this is a great time to organize your life. I like to organize my emails, pictures, and just anything on my computer and smartphones during Mercury in Rx. Take the time to organize your world in any way possible. Use this energy to make something creative perhaps as well.
REMEMBER: Connect to your past in some way, watch old videos of your family, wedding, or any memorable life event that was a happy memory. Check out old high school pictures of friends and family, and just simply reflect and reminisce about the old days. Fill your heart up with memories and simply feel gratitude for the time you had with them. Connecting to positive energies will help you feel good, and can help you move forward in your life once Mercury in Rx is back to its normal place.

Sometimes the Universe gives us a break even though it doesn’t always feel that way. One thing the Cosmos always does is create balance. So the energies get slowed down a bit so we can have the opportunity to catch up. Mercury in Retrograde (Rx for short) is that time out, it’s an opportunity to get caught up with life, and a time to unplug and take a long deep breath. It’s also a great time to take off from work if at all possible, maybe taking a little vacay and focus on reworking anything that needs to be done, or finishing projects that were never done to completion, while Mercury rules over our minds and thoughts. When this fast moving planet goes into Retrograde we start to perceive things in a very different and unique way. Mercury in Rx like all Retrograde plants is happening for a reason, this isn’t some new Astrological fad! Planets have always gone into Retrograde cycles and will continue to. So every once in a while we get a chance to pause or stop and get some rest. This is the time to review your life and the paths you’re on. What this Mercury in Rx cycle does is help us to breathe, be still, relax, and review. The main thing to understand as this cycle takes a hold that it’s a time to review your life and redo anything that needs to be done. Redo, Rework, Review, Research, so basically go over things again and wrap up old business and projects.
Double Check the Facts and any info gathered.
Revisit what you need to, like your work.
Reconnect with the folks that matter if you’ve had issues or not.- Backup Computers and any data you want to keep saved, usually start this process two weeks prior to the actual Retro Cycle.
Reorganize your daily life routines.
Declutter.- Reflect and practice spiritual work.
Release what’s been holding you back or blocking you, let go of what no longer is working especially in your intimate relationships.
There can be positive things that come from a Mercury in Retrograde cycle that you just didn’t think about before. Like throwing out old stuff you no longer need or use, and organizing your life. Stay focused on any past opportunities and reconsider them now, see if they’re still an option, and try to let go of any computer glitches or electronic snafus you might be experiencing.
Mercury is currently in the sign of Sagittarius and this is strong wild energy. Therefore we will be in for some wild twists and turns along the way as our big ideas come out in the open. The sign of Sagittarius, after all, is the sign that shoots for the stars and thinks anything is possible. If we take this cycle to plan and strategize we can make things happen once it’s over! As we go back to revisit and revise our plans we can make some interesting new discoveries.
Since it’s the Holiday Season, it’s important to keep a paper trail of whatever you purchase. Mercury is known as the “trickster” of the Zodiac, so it likes to play tricks that make us change our minds suddenly and this causes confusion. Lots of people come back around from our past including ex-lovers and friends. Mercury’s influence seems to bring these chance meetings together! But that doesn’t mean it’s fated to be together.
So our focus should be on re-organizing and reflecting. We see the world a little differently during this time, and through these filters, we can have some very important inner revelations. It may not be as easy to communicate under this influence, but remember not to try and rationalize everything. Logic is out and intuition is in! Mercury Rx periods can be times of heightened inner-awareness, so doing things like meditation, keeping a journal, reworking old plans, reviewing, or reconnecting to your past can be quite helpful. Mercury Rx is also a powerful time to study, particularly for returning to old studies and re-learning or refreshing knowledge around a subject that’s already been taken.
This Mercury in Retrograde cycle can also help you think back to a part of your recent past, and reconnect you to an old dream or goal to follow through on once this cycle is over, but write it all down for now. Someone from your past might get a hold of you for a second chance or opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s meant to be, usually, it doesn’t work out for the long-run. But it’s nice to reconnect and perhaps sort out any unresolved issues you might have.
Because we are perceiving things in a different way, the truth tends to come out, and you just might notice or find some kind of detail you overlooked or didn’t catch before, which can be very helpful. This cycle can bring clarity and help you move past any restrictions or blocks standing in your way. Mercury begins retracing its steps in direct motion from December 6 (its shadow ends on January).
When the lucky planet Jupiter moves into its own sign Sagittarius from November 9th through December 3rd there’s a stronger urge to move forward and improve things in our life. We generally speaking need more freedom to have some kind of movement, and we are more willing and open to learn and educate ourselves about different places and cultures around the world.
Sagittarius is a fire sign and with Jupiter being ruled by this sign we identify strongly with our own opinions,perceptions, and beliefs when Jupiter is. In the sign of Sagittarius. So we can take things more personally than usual, especially if others disagree. It is easier to create our own opportunities, and hopefully a little luck during this time, as we feel content when we think about things in bigger terms, and when taking calculated risks and when we feel more confident!
Jupiter in Sagittarius is all about learning how to develop a deeper understanding of the world but also ourselves, through the way we pursue things. Things like travel, philosophy, academics, literature, morality, and our belief systems all will come into stronger focus as we are challenged in different ways to open our minds and go above and beyond what we know and question our knowledge and judgments.
Because Jupiter while in Sadge teaches us how to be more broadminded and forward thinking, there may be challenges towards any bigotry, sexism, or short-sighted attitudes. We are learning how to believe more so that everyone deserves to follow their own beliefs and path, we will be handed out lessons around how to increase our tolerance and acceptance of others and their ways, and to respect others freedom, and give everyone the right to do their own thing period!
Jupiter’s effects help us expand our consciousness and our experiences, knowledge, and a basic understanding of life. Jupiter itself represents hope, joy, growth, optimistic, generosity, and abundance. While Jupiter was in Scorpio over the last year, from November of 2017 to 2018 it helped us expand our awareness about our intimate relationships, coping skills, and personal power. But now for the next year, it’s about the adventure, and how we can learn, grow, mature, and evolve.
The one issue with this placement is Jupiter and the sign of Sagittarius isn’t so good with moderation. And we can feel overly confident to the point where we can be reckless, or use our big mouths with know it all attitudes, so this usually occurs when we’re just not handling this energy so well. We can feel dissatisfied and grow restless, and those nerves can grow stronger as our visions also get bigger and grand about the future and increased wealth, and a better way of life is more sought after!

MERCURY JUST STARTED WHAT’S CALLED IT’S SHADOW Period on October 29th! NEARLY 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO ITS ACTUAL RETROGRADE CYCLE!
Mercury Retrograde:
November 16 to December 6, 2018, in Sagittarius and Scorpio.
This affects all of us, how does it affect you?
Mercury the planet of communication starts to slow down its speed once again, and prepares itself by coming to a screeching halt 2 to 3 times a year, and then proceeds to appear to move backward for a 3 week time, and this is called the RETROGRADE period!
But there’s a time frame before and after it’s actual RETROGRADE cycle called the SHADOW PERIOD, that starts 3 weeks prior to its Retrograde cycle and 2 weeks after, and during these cycles there can be more confusion as we adjust to MERCURY slowing down as it can cause sort of a ruckus, miscommunications, and electronic snafus.
With MERCURY’S slow down and stopping to go into its Retrograde cycle, we need to be patient with other folks and their confusion, frustration, mistakes, and so on, and don’t forget to do the same with yourself! Things like computers, smartphones, cars and all things electronic can be glitchy or have minor annoyances. It’s just best to wait it out because this problematic phase will pass and all these snafus and glitches usually will correct themselves. One key rule during the Shadow period is to not overdo things and make too big of a deal out of it if you can, (unlike me lol) because these issues are usually temporary!
With MERCURY RETROGRADE our thinking is thrown off, and so is our perception of things. So mistakes, misunderstandings, and problems involving communication are likely. It’s not a good time to sign contracts, make new agreements, buy anything brand new, or begin new projects. It’s an excellent time to research, revisit, plan, and prepare for something later. Remember Mercury likes to take us back literally to our past when it’s in Retrograde, so back to old friends and lovers, and even behaviors and lessons to learn something we didn’t the first go around.
Some Astrologers consider Mercury to be stronger when it is Retrograde because it is closest to the earth than at any other time during its orbit. So Mercury will be between the Earth and the Sun. The fact that Mercury is strong though, doesn’t mean life will go smoothly, hence Mercury Retrogrades bad reputation. An Astrologer once described Mercury Retrograde as Mercury going down into the Underworld and making us walk through that shadowy part of our mind and consciousness!
Since Mercury rules over our thoughts, minds, and how we process information this theory makes a whole lot of sense. We have to adjust to this period to understand it’s odd influence on our planet and our minds, it’s like putting on night vision goggles and discovering a whole new world that our minds have to explore and relearn how to understand. And each Retrograde comes with its own set of lessons for us to learn from, because each one is in a different Zodiac Sign, and that changes them up a bit.
We should try and understand that Mercury slows things down while in Retrograde, as our minds start processing information differently during the Shadow phase, we have to adjust to the way we see things and use our minds. This has a strong impact on how we communicate, and around anything that involves the way we communicate like technology of all kinds, and traveling as well. There can be more delays and misunderstandings during all of Mercury Retrogrades cycle honestly, as the energy out there can feel just stuck, off, or stagnant. Give yourself extra time when traveling and driving, be cautious and careful out there to avoid mistakes and accidents! There are also a lot of accidents during a Mercury Retrograde Shadow period simply because people feel discombobulated, and lose their focus, so take things slow.
Take care of your body and well-being, some folks get sick due to this transit because they are trying to pack too many things in their schedule and simply can’t keep up like usual and become overwhelmed and stressed out! Only take things day by day if at all possible.
One rule of thumb you can start to do now is to make sure everything you own that is electronical is up to par and has been serviced or backed up in some way, including your cars. If you have to travel during this time plan ahead and expect delays so you are not time crunched and avoid problems.
You’ll notice a lot of Astrologers will say “Don’t do this!” or “Don’t do that!” during this cycle, but it’s important to remember not to stop your life during this time. It’s not the best idea to sign anything of commitment during a Mercury in Retro phase, but that doesn’t mean if you feel really good about it, you shouldn’t take a good opportunity either. Follow your intuition and check in often with your higher-self, and see what answers you get.

The New Moon is in the sign of Scorpio and this is when a new cycle begins. This is a good time to follow the themes and express the energies of the sign of Scorpio. This lunation starts off a cycle of New Beginnings in the fixed sign of Scorpio and is especially powerful due to the Sun and Moon both being in this deep, mysterious sign. It’s a time of personal growth and evolution for all of us, no matter what Zodiac Sign you think you are, and actually, we have all the Signs in the Zodiac in our personal “Astrology Birth Charts,” just in different places that affect different parts of our lives.
What Should You Focus On Now?
This is a time when we should be focused on some of the more positive traits of the sign of Scorpio – so things like passion, focus, resourcefulness, deeper emotional connections, mysterious behavior, sexuality, and perception are all part of what this New Moon energy is trying to teach us about, and some of the main themes in our lives currently have something to do with these themes in one way or another! So think about how you can use these qualities in your own life or if there’s a situation already underway in your life that connects you to one of those issues. It’s a time for healing these issues in one way or another and that means you have to be honest with yourself and acknowledge something is going on, first.
When a New Moon comes together in the sign of Scorpio it’s a good time to work on our self-control skills. So think about the things in your life that make you feel out of control, such as addictions (of all kinds) and debt, and work on letting go of any emotional burdens or wounds you are deeply holding on to. There’s also an opportunity under this New Moon cycle to figure out what’s missing in our lives but this means we can get involved in some sort of self-destructive behaviors, again seeing there is a problem is the first step towards healing.
Under this cycle, we can get rid of the negative energy in our lives be it material or spiritual. So during the New Moon in Scorpio, we can make some important changes in our own world. One of the lessons that Scorpio teaches all of us is about going deeper into the mysteries or unknowns of this life instead of always being content with what everyone else is saying or doing and discovering the truth, even if it tears us down, that only means it will be a time to rebuild once you have torn through the rough stuff. If we take our time getting to know the people in our lives and try to understand their reasoning, it can help deepen our feelings of intimacy, forgiveness, and give our relationships (of all kinds) a sense of meaning.
Scorpio energy also teaches us that being dedicated to one meaningful relationship or commitment can be so much more satisfying and fulfilling than spreading ourselves around. It’s all about quality over quantity! Use this New Moon cycle to focus on and develop one special relationship or project, this can help you find a sense of purpose and add some growth and depth to your lives.
Under a Scorpio transit especially a New Moon, we can release our fears of being confronted and let go of heavy emotional burdens or situations. New Moon Transits
This New Moon is also harmonizing with spiritual Neptune and powerful Pluto, so our intuition and perceptions are stronger than usual. Even so, Jupiter and Uranus both are just about to shift Zodiac Signs as they go around the Zodiac Wheel, and it’s just common sense to watch for jumping into or out of something too hastily, in other words, don’t be impulsive as I have been mentioning and burn bridges and cause some kind of permanent damage until you really work through the issues you may be having. Allow this energy to flow and see how you feel on the other end of it first before making any major decisions or drawing conclusions.
The days following a New Moon phase are auspicious. The actual day of the New Moon the Balsamic or dark Moon period marks the beginning point when the heavens shift from dark to light. On the days following the New Moon magic is in the air and the inner life is awakened.
During the New Moon cycle, we should be asking the Universe for new beginnings, by planting some seeds of intention and getting in touch with our higher-self. It’s a good time to think about what you’re grateful and what you have and to work on manifesting what you’d like next to show up in your life next.
Setting Intentions under the New Moon
This is an opportune time to ask the Universe for New Beginnings. The intentions that are set during a New Moon Ritual will set you on the right path towards your desires. Have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source, Guides, Angels, etc.) and ask for the New Moon to open up a path towards your deepest desires, and ask to be led to your manifestations. Plant seeds of intentions with your mind and heart. In the simplest of terms, write your wishes down and most importantly feel them.
You might be asking how does one Set Intentions under the New Moon? First, you should set the mood and create the energy. So light some candles, burn some incense or sage, and play some calming meditative music. Get comfortable and simply write down your deepest desires, wishes or questions about your future and what you want next. Write down what you would like to manifest or create, and what kind of energy you are trying to bring into your life?
As you’re doing a ritual and setting your intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about.
What are you choosing or what changes would you like to see in your life?
What energy should you be calling in?
How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now, what kind of energy do you want to create in your life during this New Moon?
Now Visualize and feel what you’ve written down. Close your eyes and take some nice long deep breaths, and enter into your heart (the space you feel the love from) Visualize yourself in the desire or dream you’re creating. For example, see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that great Soulmate partner, or driving that new car. Keep it simple and see a particular goal being meet, see yourself feeling joyful and happy! See yourself manifesting what you would like to call in during the New Moon. Just don’t think about it, make sure and “FEEL IT” as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing.
The New Moon phase is the best time for planning and seeding your intentions. You’re going to need to be patient and wait for those seeds you have planted to grow, just like you would wait on a flower to sprout from a seedling and remember when a plant grows it needs sunlight. This is also true for us as we get our ideas together and make our visions known, it takes some time for our wishes or desires to surface into reality. The Dark Moon or New Moon, is like the earth when you plant a flower it is dark, but once you ask for your dreams to come in…you are putting your Light on it and that is what it takes for it to grow, just like the Sun makes a flower grow, add some emotions to it and really feel what you are asking for and there is the water a flower would need to grow, see it’s all so symbolic for what we really are doing here.
Last but not least, you should work on being grateful what you already have on this planet, right in the here and now! Tell the Universe thank you and believe me once you start saying or writing down what you are grateful for, it won’t stop it will just keep coming to you. Gratitude is so popular because it works…it’s the key to manifestation.

November 2018 Horoscopes
Get ready folks things are going to get quite wild, exciting, and a bit confusing maybe as there are just so many major planetary shifts this month that we probably will be feeling much differently about certain things by the time we get to December. Expect more details from me over the course of the month, but in the meantime keep this newsletter to refer back to.
The Radical Change maker Uranus enters Aries, Again?
Starting Nov 6th the planet Uranus in Retrograde (backward) leaves the sign of Taurus and goes back into the sign of Aries, where it already was for nearly 8 years! So we have dealt with this energy before (2010-May 2018), but we’ll have to do it again starting now through March 5th of 2019! It’s no easy task living under the Uranus in Aries transit, it’s been one hell of a ride over the last 8 years with Uranus in Aries!! It’s really been a nice change of pace since May of 2018 when Uranus shifted into the sign of Taurus until November 5th!
But now with Uranus back in the sign of Aries, we have no choice but to take this energy head on one last time, as Uranus won’t be in the sign of Aries after next spring again for nearly eighty years! One good thing is before Uranus leaves the sign of Aries again, it will come out of its long Retrograde cycle on Jan. 7th 2019, so this can help take the edge off, as we all can feel this energy in a deep way!
For now, whole Uranus is back in the sign of Aries, we have to face our fears head on and change some things that just aren’t working for us, so we can live the life we really want to and be who we really want to be, if we like it or not! This energy affects us on a personal and global scale. What you didn’t maybe finish last spring, now you get a second chance to do so. Expect the unexpected and one wild winter and spring, especially for all the Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn folks. But either way no matter what your sign, life is certainly not settling down any time soon and either will we. Just make sure to think before you act which can be quite difficult under this influence, it’s going to take being mindful and strategic ahead of time to keep yourself calm.
New Moon
The New Moon comes together Wednesday, November 7, in the sign of Scorpio.
This energy is intensely focused and gives us deep insight into our problems. But this influence is under a fixed water sign of Scorpio, so what we tend to see is often just the tip of the iceberg. There’s always a whole lot more going on beneath the surface when it comes to Scorpio energy! Some of the themes during this month’s New Moon are subconscious motives, suppressed emotions, and other subtle energies. With this New Moon on the World’s Axis it’s a very karmic and revealing time! Lucky Jupiter transits the sign of Sagittarius starting November 7th, 2018 through December 3rd, 2019
This transit can put you on a new path towards some good fortune, depending on just where lucky Jupiter is transiting your own personal “Astrology Birth Chart”, this can show you what part of your life some good luck and positive vibes will come in. You can feel a strong urge to move forward in life, to better help you improve something and to have more freedom to move as you please. Venus Moves out of its Retrograde Cycle!
Then on November 15th a whole lot of changes will be happening. First, off the love Goddess herself, Venus, the planet that rules our love lives and often finances will come out of Retrograde, and many of you will be able to make an important decision about your love life or a close relationship. Money issues will lighten up for some folks, especially if you were already having issues.
While Venus is Retrograde she is at her closest distance to Earth, and in fact, she’s closer than any other planet can actually be! So, a good way to think of her Retrograde is when the Earth and Venus do their dance and bring up all of her themes to the forefront of our lives, so things like relationships, love, and money! Venus is strongly on our minds and in our hearts right now, and she represents whatever involves love, money, relationships issues, jealousy, and boundaries in relationships. It’s a period of time when we should work on listening to our partners, and lovers. Sacrifice some things for your lover so they are happy!
Communication Breakdown
Mercury Retrograde
On Nov 16th, Mercury Retrograde begins its cycle in the sign of Sagittarius but is also in a tense Square to foggy Neptune for a few days which may add to the confusion. It might be more difficult than usual to ignore negative thoughts and feelings about other folks, which can make you feel quite upset, uneasy, or even ill. Your dreams might be super strong and extra vivid for a few days, but hard to understand or interrupt. Romantic adventures may be interesting during this time, but remember the difference between fantasy and reality to avoid feeling rejected and embarrassed later.
During the whole Mercury Retrograde cycle, so from Nov. 16th through Dec. 6th, be very careful about what you sign, so things like contracts or commitments of any kind. And don’t try to fit extra commitments into your schedule. This is supposed to be a time of rest and rejuvenation. And not a time to start anything brand-new for three weeks. Back up computers, and be cautious with driving and traveling. It might be difficult to stay on top of the details of your life, especially with all the technology snafus and miscommunication going on. . Take extra precautions to avoid getting sick and to keep your health well, live gently. This cycle runs throughout the Holiday Season so be mindful and do what is best for you, first!
It’s time for a turnabout, and if we are smart we will allow our minds to take a rest and go into some sort of peaceful state during these cycles, as we can then review where we have been. It’s time to get real with yourself and do some self-appraisal which is going to require for us to be extremely open-minded, and usually can only be done by those who are enlighted enough to really love themselves. It’s probably pretty obvious by now that something we have been doing in our love lives, relationships, work, or otherwise isn’t working for us, so it’s time to take new steps and follow our intuition, throw logic out the window during Mercury in Retrograde and listen to your intuition!

Full Moon on the 23rd
This month’s Full Moon is in the sign of Gemini, in the Pleiades Star Cluster. Since this Full Moon is in 0 degrees of Gemini, it carries a special significance, which emphasizes something fresh can start, and new lessons are handed out to be learned. This may seem like an odd time with the Full Moon coming to a stage of completion. And it also will ride right along with Uranus moving back into the sign of Aries, which means something from our past may come back up that still needs to be fixed or resolved. It’s a time to wipe the slate clean and start over again, and release what you don’t want or need so you can start something new.

Neptune turns Direct and out of Retrograde on Nov 24th
This means we finally will start to gain some clarity again and are better able to make certain decisions based on all that we have learned, thinking back to what has been revealed to us since June 18th when Neptune first went into its Retrograde cycle, as many secrets have come out to be dealt with!
The world has been quite an angry place lately if you haven’t already noticed, and as a result of this collective inner disharmony, we could see some serious anger and violence in the outer world for just a few days as Neptune comes out of its Retrograde phase! This means emotions can run high, which leads to sudden frustrations and bursts of anger. If you want to just simply be reasonable it’s going to take some mindful consideration before you move forward on anything. Actions are sudden and spontaneous so it might prove difficult to allow our minds to not be impulsive, it’s important to find some sort of safe way to express how we are feeling which could just solve the problem altogether.
Finally, we can feel like we are being knocked around by all this Cosmic Activity, but there is every reason to believe that for now on, we can enjoy our daily life a who lot more after we get through this time. As things will start to feel considerably lighter and less tense. Meanwhile, it just depends on where all the planets are lined up in your own personal Astrology Birth Chart, but either at home, with family, in your relationships, and even with our financial problems, things may start to finally be sorted out. Expect some exciting changes on the horizon, and whatever you do think positive to offset down of the challenges we will meet

The Sun is shifting into transformational, mysterious Scorpio and “Scorpio Season” officially begins. This transit runs through November 21st. The sign of Scorpio is notoriously known for being the darkest, (symbolically speaking) most mysterious, and psychological sign in the Zodiac, as it explores the soul deeply while under the light of the Sun.
Scorpio energy for each and every one of us is about depth, intimacy, and transformation. Anything fake or false will be shown for what it truly is while the Sun is in this sign, so if something or someone is superficial it simply won’t work for us at this time, only the real deal will do! Scorpio is the detective of the Zodiac, therefore we are more interested in getting to the bottom of our problems, to uncover what’s been hidden, suppressed, or unseen, or even unknown. Under this energy, you might actually enjoy all that is odd, taboo, or different. Anything that’s just plain or average may not be enough during this time.
Over the last month during Libra season we worked towards being fair and equal. But while under all this Scorpio energy we accept the fact that “life isn’t fair” and understand that pain and suffering are actually part of the process of life. In order to truly evolve the soul we must transform ourselves which means we must end something to begin anew. The sign of Scorpio is often represented by the Scorpion, but also The Mythical Bird, the “Phoenix” which can represent this brave sign, the Phoenix story is about how it flies up in the air and catches fire and turns to dust, only to resurrect itself and come back to life to start over again! So just like this story, all of this Scorpio energy teaches us that we have to sometimes fall apart, let something end or die off in order to resurrect ourselves or our lives to tap into some kind of new energy!
Scorpio energy is sexy, mysterious, and provocative, so there is going to may be something interesting that sparks up in our relationships. We often look for a love that is committed and long-term during this time. This Scorpio influence keeps us perhaps a little more reserved about how passionate we are feeling, but we can still be strong-willed and intense, as this is a time of powerful emotions and some of you might feel rather emotional during its transit! The more shadow side of Scorpio energy is we can become more easily jealous, paranoid, obsessive, and manipulative. And this energy also can cause some folks to become obsessive, going on and on about issue or problem, over and over again, and even if you get nowhere you might find it hard to stop once you have started on whatever you are focused on. Despite how scary or creepy this all might sound, Scorpio is still part of the Zodiac Wheel, and we all have a little Scorpio in each of us.

Curious Mercury and loving Venus are also in the sign of Scorpio where they will stay throughout Scorpio Season. This means our soul, hearts, and minds are all being ruled by Scorpio energy, therefore, some of you will be breaking things down to rise up once again, and perhaps resurrect yourselves in some way. This can be an amazing energy to work with if you want to finish something in your life, after all, Scorpio Season is a time of endings, hence why we choose to celebrate Halloween during this time, as it originated from the Day of the Dead. As we get closer to Halloween a Full Moon will occur in the sign of Taurus on October 24th! This Full Moon is going to a bit of a challenging energy for us because it can make people feel extremely anxious and some folks are going to act quite crazy! This may not be such an easy influence to get through, so it’s important to understand that this Full Moon is full of disruptive and challenging energy, especially in our love lives and for some of you around your finances.
This Full Moon in Taurus can bring unexpected changes in your love life, relationships, and anything your feeling emotional about already! One thing the Moon in Taurus will do is awaken your senses and sensibilities, as this is a very sensitive sign in one of the most sensitive aspects, however, it also is a time of opportunity to understand your existing relationships, especially with Venus (Taurus ruling planet, and the planet of Love and Money) in Retrograde, as we are already thinking strongly about any issues we have concerning love or money.
All of this might sound a bit frightening, but it’s not all bad! The power of this energy can turn unexpected changes into opportunities. There also maybe unexpected love connections made and practical solutions to any issues you’ve already been dealing with in your love life. And this might bring up new issues to also figure out. This Full Moon has a way of magnifying problems that are opposing forces in your world because the Sun is Opposite the Moon during a Full Moon anyway, always. There’s going to be strong feelings of tension and pressure and you can end up feeling ran down or exhausted by it. It is going to be a highly emotional time starting really soon, but it doesn’t have to be negative depending on how you handle it.
The Full Moon is clashing with unpredictable Uranus, the planet of change, rebellion, and revolution, so it’s going to shake up things and upset the status quo, and the Sun will shift into Scorpio a day before. Plus shadowy Venus Retrograde will make a strong connection to the strong Sun. So starting today and the days ahead to the Full Moon you can feel quite rattled and nerve-racked!
