Mars the planet that rules over our motivation, physical actions, assertive drive, ambition, passion, war, and sexual drive shifts signs on June 26, 2020, into more fast-paced, impulsive Aries all the way through January 6th, 2021. That is a really long time for Mars to be in one sign. Its extended stay in trailblazing Aries is due to its upcoming Retrograde phase, which starts on Sept. 9th and runs through Nov. 13th.

We can create whatever it is we desire, such as a better life, more money, happiness, or even love! It really doesn’t matter, but we have to take an action, both, physically and spiritually, together, to make it really happen and stick! And no, not everything you want is going to just magically appear. But you will more than likely get put on the path towards your wishes, even if you don’t realize it and that sometimes take time, so be patient. But it’s nice to know at least we are headed in the right direction.
Also, just sometimes when you Set Intentions with the New Moon energy amazing things happen and you get what you want very quickly!
At least by “Setting Intentions” with the energy of the New Moon, you’ve made it clear to the Universe what path you’d like to begin heading down and that’s a start. Then the energies will begin to line up to get you there, and if you continue to stay persistent and connected, and keep doing this work it truly can change your life circumstances for the better. I am like those old commercials, I don’t just talk about it, I have lived it! LOL! And this work, just works! It’s that simple.
The intentions that are set during a New Moon will set you on the right path towards your desires. The New Moon is a magical time of New Beginnings when you can recharge your goals with new energy. During the New Moon, we often experience some sort of major “energy shift.”
Here are some ideas on just how to Manifest under a New Moon:
1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.
2. Share your Intentions with someone in a supportive way, who will be encouraging.
3. Do something to demonstrate your commitment to your intention. For example, taking even a small action around what it is your asking to create! Send an email, move something in your house, or make a phone call perhaps.

So have a conversation with the Universe (meaning your higher power, God, Source Energy, higher-self, Guides, Angels, etc), and work with the New Moons energy to help illuminate the path that will lead you toward your deepest desires. Step One: Clear Your Sacred Space
Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do any New Moon work. Think about where you are going to do this work, because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit or sleep. This is mainly why you feel so good in your favorite chair, because it’s comfortable and feels safe and secure, but also because you have created an energy vortex in that spot or space.
You are simply calling in some positive energy to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies! Maybe say a blessing or a special prayer that helps you feel cleared and protected. Next, close your eyes and breathe deeply and call upon your Guides, Angels, or higher power and ask to have your sacred space cleared, and then to fill up the special space you are working in with the energy of light, love, and protection. Never leave energy empty, always fill it with something once you’ve cleared it. Never leave a VOID when working with energy.
Step Two: Set the atmosphere
Set the mood for your New Moon Ritual and burn some special incense, light some candles (colors of candles do have different energies and meanings), and play some music that helps you feel spirituality connected. This can be a very different experience for everyone, just make sure to use whatever colors, music, and tools that make you feel calm, centered, and peaceful.
Step Three: Setting Intentions
You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with.
Now write what energy you’d like the Universe to bring in. Simply write your deepest desires, wishes, and questions. Think about what energy you’re trying to manifest or create. Write a letter, like as if you are talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to bring into your life, and be detailed about what you want to see happen next in your life, and what energies you’re willing to work with.
As you’re doing this work and Setting your Intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about. For example; ask for what you’re choosing or what changes you would like to see in your life? What are you or should you be calling in? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now? What do you want to change and create?
Think about your long-term goals and future. Be careful about focusing too much on the how, why, and when’s around how you will get what you want! Instead, focus more on what it is you are choosing and how you want to FEEL. See the end result! Only see the ultimate ending and again what it feels like when you receive what it is you are choosing! What you see in your mind’s eye, so don’t focus on how you get it, or the hurdles you have to jump, or sacrifices you may have to make. Just allow the Universe to shoulder the burden for you once you have requested what you want and let them take care of the rest. Have some faith in something. Rule # One is always energy follows thought, it will come to you in one way or another, or you’ll be put at least on a path towards your goals.
Step Four: Visualize
It’s time to visualize what you have written. Close your eyes and take some long deep breaths, so in your nose and out your mouth. Repeat this about 4 or 5 times. See the energy of your heart center, that’s in the middle of your chest, not over your pumping heart but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Visualize yourself in what you are actually trying to create or manifest. For example: see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that Soul-Mate, or driving that new car. Just don’t think it folks, make sure and FEEL IT, as if you were really experiencing what you’re visualizing!
Allow the Universe to show you which paths to follow over the next month, and look for any signs or symbols that will help you along your journey, so you may bring in what you truly desire and let go of what you don’t want! Don’t forget to show gratitude in some way and tell the Universe or Moon thank you in advance.
You also might gain some clarity around something or someone that is not serving your higher good, and they actually could be blocking you from your desires. So, in other words, pay attention after you’re done doing this work so you can clearly understand what the Universe is trying to show you!
Mental Mercury enters the sign of Taurus today, it stays there through May 11th.
This energy tends to slow our minds way down, especially with it also being Taurus Season (the Sun in Taurus.) So things aren’t going to be moving as quickly as they have been, and we can feel somewhat stuck. Especially with the ongoing virus situation.
We tend to be more down to earth, stable, and grounded with Mercury in Taurus, and our common sense is stronger, but our fantasies may be put on hold for the time being. We can come off more deliberate, and sometimes harsh under this influence, but it can be easier to communicate our emotions.
We will stick to what’s worked for us in the past, and who’s been tried and true, as our tribe means everything during this time. There can be a stronger urge to mingle again, since we don’t feel as heavy or weighed down as we did under the Sun in Capricorn. But we can get rather nerve-wracked and anxious if we start focusing on what we are lacking in our lives. Turn any worrisome energy you might experience into something you can manifest, by setting goals and making plans. All of these Cosmic connections make for some pretty amazing energies to be honest! These planetary combinations bring in an extra dose of love, happiness, and good fortune for all of us to share. December 2 – Jupiter enters Capricorn Jupiter joins up with the heavy-hitting planets Saturn and Pluto in ambitious Capricorn. It’s time to pay attention to the areas of your life that you want to build a solid foundation on, so focus on what you want to achieve in the coming New Year. You can meet people who help you get ahead in one way or another. Just remember any hard work you do now will be rewarded. Even though we can receive some much needed help, with so many planets in the sign of Capricorn, there can be challenges as well. Especially, when those who are of authority or who are in charge band together with their combined powers. To rise above these tests and challenges, and meet your goals, you will need to stay focused and concentrate. Keep things practical, and be savvy and strategic, this is not the time to be impulsive or to just wing it!
December 3 – Venus sextiles Mars Venus the Goddess of Love and relationships is also in the sign of, you guessed it, Capricorn. Her Cosmic Lover Mars, the planet of aggression, action, and desire is actually in Scorpio right now, and together these two make a powerful couple. This can be a beneficial influence that helps you meet new people romantically. It can help those of you who are already involved in a committed relationship to strengthen the bonds you have already built.
December 8 – Sun squares Neptune Neptune is the planet that rules over your dreams, fantasies, imagination, and spirituality. With the Sun shining its energy on Neptune, things can feel rather confusing and some of you may feel down and out. But this can be an amazing time to escape your busy life, and get rid of all the distractions, and unplug, or just relax. Using your mind and logic won’t help you find the answers, instead, try a little creativity and some daydreaming perhaps. Don’t worry, because even if you don’t know where you are going or exactly what you want. All of us need some downtime to replenish our energies, so find a place of peace and relaxation, and take a moment to breathe and simply be. The rest of the world will just have to wait.
December 9 – Mercury enters Sagittarius Mercury is the planet of communication and expression. When it shifts into the more optimistic sign of Sagittarius are heads fill up with new ideas and we can enjoy fun conversations that may just help us learn better about how to reach our goals. Keep things practical and stay grounded, but express your enthusiasm and you might just succeed. Sagittarius energy demands truth, so all of us will appreciate a good honest discussion at this time. Just be careful not to overdo it, and share your whole life story, as giving to much of your business away can cause problems. This energy can have us telling way to much truth, and then we have to apologize for it later. If you can remember to use tact you won’t feel regretful later.
December 11 – Venus conjuncts Saturn Saturn is about taking responsibility as it holds us accountable. So when Venus connects to stern Saturn there can be challenges in your relationships. But you also can gain clarity about the people in your life, this can help you understand better what you want and don’t want.
December 12 – Full Moon in Gemini This Full Moon is handing out information and brings news that can make you doubt your current plans. This week is going to be moving very fast, and you might feel stressed out and overwhelmed! But it can also help open your eyes and see the truth about situations that you need to be done with. This is anxious energy, even more so than normal, so some folks can be extremely emotional and high strung, so whatever they are communicating can be illogical. Make no important decisions during this time! Take things nice and slow, and review all the info you have gathered. Once this Full Moon has passed you will be able to see the whole picture, and then you will know what you should do next.
December 13 – Venus conjuncts Pluto Venus rules over our relationships and Pluto is about the power and control we have. Conjunctions are often about new beginnings. But this influence can be about our projects, goals, or other people. You can feel powerful during this time, and your energy can run high. If you choose to let go of what’s broken or not working in your relationships, then it might just transform and come back together into something new and stronger. But this is strong powerful energy to grab ahold of, if you embrace it you may just be able to achieve your goals. Keep your heart open to the ones who love you back.
December 15 – Jupiter trines Uranus Jupiter is about expanding one’s horizons, it wants to help you improve your life. When it shifts into the sign of Capricorn our goals become our main focus. This energy can help you rebuild something in your life, into something different or even new. The world opens up to new possibilities, so it’s a good year to make long-term improvements. Keep your options open and be ready as opportunities show up. Other people are a valuable resource during this time, as they can help you at least begin your new journey.
December 19 – Mars sextiles Saturn The action planet Mars is in powerful Scorpio. As it makes this connection to stabilizing Saturn in ambitious Capricorn, all our hard work can finally pay off, as help comes from those of authority or positions of power. This helps us put the finishing touches on any projects or plans we have been working on for a while now. If you share your ideas and visions for your future plans and goals, you will probably get the help you need to realize them.
December 20 – Venus enters Aquarius Venus the planet of Love herself, enters the more emotionally detached sign of Aquarius. This is a very interesting influence because you can actually meet someone during this time to love that shares the same values and moral codes as you, but you also need your partner to be your friend under this energy. Since we tend to be more social during this time, it is easier to meet people at events (hello Holidays) as long as you participate in activities you enjoy. If you are already committed, this is a good time to work on strengthening the friendship you have with your nearest and dearest.
December 21 – Sun enters Capricorn The Sun enters the more practical sign of Capricorn and this marks the beginning of the Winter Solstice. This is a magical time, (all the Solstices are) but it’s best to take this time to get quiet and reflect on this past year, think about what you are grateful for. Now is the time of the year when we tend to hide out, the winter months are about staying out of the cold. But with so many other planets in the sign of Capricorn, we should be planning and preparing for 2020. Think about your dreams, goals, and plans and what you would like to accomplish. This is a fiercely ambitious influence that can help you get ahead if you work with its energies in the right way
December 24 – Sun trines Uranus When the radiant Sun shines on the divine messenger, Uranus, we can have way more energy and courage to do what we want, how we want! All you are required to do is go after your goals and take advantage of this influence. Look to your soul tribes and those who are of support. Make changes, and be open to adjustments and change up your plans if need be, make them stronger and better, as there are people around during this time that are willing to assist you.
December 26 – Solar Eclipse in Capricorn A powerful Solar Eclipse occurs on this day in the sign of ambitious Capricorn, as this influence can help you reconnect to the world around you. For most of us, the outer world is about our careers, for others, it is school or volunteer work that takes up most of your interactions. The Solar Eclipse occurs at the same time as the New Moon, this means it is an especially strong time for drama but it’s also a new beginning. This New Moon energy is all about achieving your goals, by taking step by step plans to reach them. It’s a good time to decide what you are going to take responsibility for and what you don’t. This is a time to take actions that help you make your life more secure, by accomplishing what is practical. Over the next few weeks while the light of the Moon slowly increases from this New Moon to a Full Moon, stay focused and put your time and energy into something you really want to see grow and build up to be strong, or make it about something that is really important to you. Staying consistent and focusing on the same goals over this two week period can bring amazing results, or at the very least put you on the right path towards achieving your goals. Everyone’s journey is different.
December 27 – Sun conjuncts Jupiter Every year, the Sun shines its light on optimistic Jupiter. This year, of course, it’s meeting up with the sign of practicality and security, Capricorn. Jupiter is all about its generosity as it expands the energy of the sign it is in, and it brings along helpers, guides, angels and whatever you can think of to help us build upon these Capricorn energies. This is a great time to work once again on your plans for your future, to reach goals that have to do with the long-term. This energy wants you to get real and stick to a plan that is in the here and now.
December 28: Mercury enters Capricorn When the planet of Communication enters the sign of practical Capricorn, we can learn what is working and what isn’t. Stay focused on your goals, but also get out and do some networking, especially with folks who have already done or accomplished what you hope to achieve. You can gain some valuable advice and they can lead you to meet the right people who can help you. All your hard work will be rewarded soon, so stay focused, and don’t give up.
Early in the morning Tuesday, Nov. 26th the New Moon comes together in adventurous Sagittarius, and we’re looking for something different, bigger, truthful, and honest. This is just one of those New Moons that are rare, the best one of 2019 in fact! The Sun and Moon are both in the more hopeful, optimistic sign of Sagittarius which makes this an extra powerful energy.
This New Moon is a fabulous one, full of great feeling vibes, as a rather interesting conjunction between lovely Venus and lucky Jupiter is also underway, so in fact, this New Moon can reactivate this amazing energy, and both mental Mercury and mystical Neptune just freshly out of their Retrograde cycles make a connection as well. This energy is fabulous for manifesting your hopes, dreams, and desires.
It’s a great time for Setting Intentions, (working with the energy of the Cosmos to ask for your dreams and desires, it’s a time for meditation, journal-keeping, visualization, and energy work.)
It’s also a good time to start new projects, especially if it involves travel or exploring new territory. However, Mercury is just coming out of Retrograde so things can still be a little bit confusing. It’s important to remember if you change your thoughts you literally change your reality, and the world around you, as we manifest from the inside out. This Sagittarian energy helps us take a look around and see things differently, and gain a fresh new perspective.
Now the darker side of this New Moon energy is that aggressive Mars is opposing rebellious Uranus at the same time. This can bring chaotic energy into the mix! There also can be more irritation, hostility, or unexpected changes. Anger can boil over and turn into rash actions, as silly temper tantrums can occur. You can feel more impulsive and have a total disregard for following the rules. You may even feel like it’s more important to break the rules just to be free from your responsibilities and obligations.
This energy is about taking action and moving forward, in our minds and by using our bodies. Physical movement can help us gain a new perspective on life, it helps bring clarity. Which many of us are needing this new energy to help us see clearly again, since we are just coming from out of the influences of both the Mercury and Neptune Retrograde cycles. This energy tends to lead us down new and different paths in life, and into new directions. Be mindful and ask the Universe for what you want, to ensure your heading down the right path towards your wishes and desires. Let this energy guide you.
The New Moon in Sagittarius helps us learn, grow, and expand our knowledge. This influence wants to show us how to have space within our own hearts that still respects old traditional ways of doing things. But it’s just as equally as important to not repeat history and struggle. So basically if something didn’t work out for you before in the past then it’s time to take a hint and try something new. It’s also important during this New Moon to work and practice showing yourself some compassion. Seriously, if you are reading this give yourself a BREAK!

This New Moon holds the best energy to “Set Intentions” under, as its extremely powerful with the Sun and Moon both being in expansive Sagittarius! A New Moon can work powerful manifestation magic because the Moon is farthest from the Earth, and this opens up our imagination being farther away from this material plane of existence we live in. Anything you are thinking during this time is like planting seeds in a garden, just see your thoughts as the seeds, because once they are thought at the time of the New Moon they will grow, so be mindful of what you are thinking about during this New Moon time, and remember be careful for what you wish for as sometimes we need to really think before we ask.
You can start Setting Intentions at any time right now as we are under some amazingly lucky and life-changing energies.
This is an opportune time to ask the Universe to release whatever energies you need to let go or do away with, and also what doesn’t serve you anymore. The intentions that are set during a “Full Moon” will set you on the right path towards your hopes, wishes, and desires. This is the best time to do some energy work and release old pains and experiences that just have held you down or blocked you up! It’s time to get the old stuff out so the good stuff can come in!
During the Full Moon, we often experience an energy shift, so we must release the old energies to open things up, so we can get on the right path in life that helps us bring new and fresh energy.
What to Release under a Full Moon:
* Lower energies
* Negative patterns or bad habits
* Unhealthy situations or relationships
What to work on during the Full Moon:
*Letting go of both the people and situations that aren’t working anymore. And sometimes it is just an attitude or thought
*Clearing space for new energies to come in
*Being GRATEFUL for what you already have and what will be
This is the time when you should have a conversation with the Universe, (your higher power, Spirit Guides, Angels, God, etc!) whatever you believe in! Ask for the “Full Moon” to help illuminate the path that leads you towards your deepest desires. Simply ask to be led down a path towards your dreams and goals during your Setting Intentions rituals.
Patience is important! Remember to allow the time needed for the Moon to light the way, as it doesn’t always happen right away. But remember often this kind of work is magical and sometimes the things you want or ask for just show up! The “Full Moon” illuminates the truth and is symbolic for helping us see all that has been hidden, secret, tucked away, or suppressed. So ask for the truth to be revealed during this time.
What if you don’t know how to “Set Intentions” under the Full Moon. Follow the steps below to learn how:
Step One: Clear your Sacred Space
Clear the energy of the area or room you’re using to do your Full Moon work. You are simply calling in positive energies to work with. Burn some Sage or Incense and clear the energies. Think about where you’re going to perform your energy work. Because we create an energy vortex wherever we sit, sleep or do spiritual work! This is why you feel so comfy in your favorite chair, it feels safe and secure because you have created an energy vortex in that spot or space.
Step Two: Set the Atmosphere
Set the mood or your Full Moon Ritual. Burn some special incense, light some candles (colors do have different meanings) and play some mood or ambient music that helps you feel spiritually connected to the Universal energy you see tapping into. This can be a very different experience for everyone. Just makes sure to use whatever tools make you feel calm and peaceful. Because that’s the kind of energy you want to bring into your life.
Step Three: Let It Out
You’re going to need a notebook, paper, or a journal and something to write with. Writing pen to paper can be magical! It helps sync up the mind and body! Many try using their electronic devices but it just doesn’t seem to have the same effect. But to each their own. Then you write about what you’d like the Universe to bring in and remove. Simply write your deepest truths, wishes, and questions down. Think about what energies you’re trying to let go of and release. Write the letter like as if you were talking to an old friend. Think about what energy you’re trying to push out of your life, and what energy you’re trying to bring in, and be detailed but don’t go overboard.
It’s important to be patient and allow your work to take ahold during this process. And just know sometimes things take time. Often we just miss the signs and messages the Universe is sending because they are so subtle. They are not always so earth-shattering signs or A-ha moments that show up like a lightning bolt! More often it’s simply a bird landing in your backyard that has some sort of message or meaning for you, look up Animal Totems. You can hear a song on the radio that seems to have special meaning just for you, or see a movie and a scene seems to resonate with you on a deep personal level. Look for signs on everyday life and they just magically appear. If you pay attention and see everything as a sign, you will start to quickly pick up on what the Universe is trying to tell you! Messages and signs are always everywhere for us.
As you’re doing this work and Setting your Intentions, here are some helpful questions you can think about, for example: Ask for what you are choosing to come into your life? What changes would you like to see happen? What are you or should you be letting go of? How do you feel about what is happening in your life now? What do you want to release? Think about your long-term goals and your future, and what energy you’d like to create over the coming months.
Step Four: Visualize what you’re Creating
Now you’re going to visualize what you have written. First get comfortable again, preferably in the same place and read what you wrote very closely. Then close your eyes and take some long deep breaths, in your nose and out your mouth. See the energy of your heart center, (that’s in the middle of your chest, not your actual pumping heart) but your spiritual heart or commonly referred to as the “Heart Chakra.” Next, Visualize yourself in what you’re trying to create or manifest. For example; see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with a Soul-Mate, driving that new car, (just smell that new car smell!) Don’t just think about what you want, but make sure and “FEEL IT,” as if you are really experiencing what you’re visualizing. If this makes you laugh, cry, scream, or whatever, then go with it.
Step Five: Gratitude
It’s very important to work on releasing what you don’t want in your life during a Full Moon, but it’s equally as important to not leave a VOID after you are done. So you need to fill that space from releasing with gratitude. Being grateful for what you have and around the work you are doing. When we focus on what it is we don’t have we are focusing on “Lack”, and that will only bring in the things we don’t want. Remember what we put our attention on is what will show up! So instead think and feel the things you are grateful for in your heart. Think about what you already have and be grateful for that. Then you will attract more of that can of energy, which in turn brings in some better feeling stuff! Don’t be held captive by your pains and past trauma, call in the good stuff folks. Yes, you deserve something good, wonderful and amazing!
Allow the Universe to show you what path to follow over the next month, and let the Full Moon light up the way! Hopefully, you’ll at the very least be put on a path towards what you truly desire, all while letting go of what you don’t need anymore, it’s truly miraculous.

On 21st of June Neptune turns Retrograde. Discover your inner-muse?
This fog rolls in and casts a veil over our normal practical lives. This influence causes us to temporarily lose our inspiration because we are re-working our dreams and wishes in regards to what’s happening emotionally within ourselves. This Retrograde cycle itself lasts until Nov 27th, which means this will be a period of confusion and indecisiveness. You may feel stuck or like you are in limbo, but it is a great time to work on discovering your inner-self.
This is an excellent time to strengthen your spiritual game folks, start a journal and record your dreams as well, make a vision board, and tune into what people are not saying rather than their words. Your intuition and psychic hunches are strong as this mystical planet changes direction. However, your logical mind is taking a vacay for the next 5 months! So trying to figure out where other folks are coming from, or finding information can be difficult, (especially while Mercury is in Retrograde as well!)
During this cycle you will be required to pay extra careful attention to the details as they will be elusive. And since we can be vulnerable now, and way more into the fantasies that play in our heads, assume if something sounds too good to be true, that it probably is! Don’t be a victim during this time which is the Shadow side of Neptune, we can be suckers and get taken if we don’t pay attention! It’s also all about the escape during this Neptune’s Retro period, it might be all to easy to leave your responsibilities behind and not deal with the reality of what is happening in the here and now on planet Earth!
This influence can get some of you into trouble if you choose to delve into things like alcohol, or drugs just to escape. It’s important to have a support system if you feel weak. So make sure and talk about how you are feeling to someone, during this time, let those pent up emotions out and be motivated by the fact that Neptune’s Retrograde cycle can indeed be a time to heal the spirit. This is a time to discover what helps inspire you, and find your own inner-muse!

Saturn Goes Retrograde April 29 – Sept 18 By Rubys Readings
Nowadays, it’s become common knowledge to understand what Mercury in Retrograde is all about, but what you might not know is all the planets have a Retrograde cycle, which is when the planets appear to be moving backward in the sky! And these Cosmic shifts do cause significant changes and effects on all of us if we are aware of it or not! Saturn in Retrograde is considered to be a very powerful energy and marks a turning point in our lives.
Starting April 29 the ringed-planet Saturn starts its five-month-long trip in its Retrograde cycle, through Sept 18. This astrological event occurs just over every twelve months, lasting for nearly 4 and 1/2 months. Saturn Retrograde is not rare and lots of folks are born under one as well. This is a time of restrictions, blocks, limitations, and some anxiety and fear. The skills we learn during this Retrograde phase will prove essential to our growth for the long-term. In the coming days, you may feel off, weighed down, and disoriented, as once again our perspective shifts. But this is how we are affected by Retrograde planets at first anyway, at least until we have a chance to adjust to the shift in energy.
Often it’s the very beginning and the end of these cycles (or commonly called Shadow Periods) that are the toughest or most challenging time. Just remember Retrograde cycles are always about perspective, so as these planets appear to be moving backward through the Cosmos, we too can feel like we’re going backward in our own lives, but it is a time to at least slow-down!
During Saturn’s Retrograde cycle, it is a good time to revisit our relationships and work on any long-term goals we may have, as this is a time to pay close attention to our responsibilities and duties. It’s a time to restructure the way we manifest our reality and find new ways of thinking, and perhaps, adopt a different attitude about how to remove what is blocking us, or how to get through the obstacles that are in our way.
Saturn is known as the “Lord of Karma,” and while Retrograde it is a time when Karma is sorted out. Therefore, Saturn Retrograde can be a double dose of Karma handed-out. Karma is actually a form of energy that is very real, and like Saturn, it is very closely bound to time.
Over the next week, during the beginning of Saturn’s Retro phase, as it turns completely Retrograde, we may begin to feel the weight of it in certain situations quite heavily, especially around our responsibilities. Many of you will actually let go of certain commitments including relationships, jobs, or business deals, which can leave you wondering why you even bothered with them in the first place. We may feel somewhat disconnected and lose our motivation. It might be difficult to make important decisions during these influences, as our energy levels can be low. All of this is due to a change in perspective. We will learn how to find our footing and regain some sort of balance into next week, (into the first week of May), as we grow more accustomed to these shifts. Then we can turn Saturn’s Retrograde cycle into an opportunity, which is the most powerful way to see any Retrograde planet! Make this a time to go over and review your responsibilities, so you can figure out what’s working and what’s not. Take on any challenges you are dealing with and face your reality with gumption and make things happen, Saturn always rewards us for our hard work by the way.
It’s important to slow down now and reconnect with what makes you feel useful, like your work, relationships, and duties. This, in fact, is not a good time to add anything to your existing responsibilities or duties, as the extra projects will just stress you out even more. We should be cutting back and reducing what we normally take on right now, it’s a time to make things simple folks! Any delays you happen to run in to now are just a kind reminder from the Universe that its time to make adjustments. This is a chance to make edits and corrections that are necessary for your success. This is a major time out from the Cosmos.
This influence has us take a look back at what we have already done or taken care of, so it can make you feel like you are moving backward and like you’re not moving forward. Actually, this is happening so you can review or go back over something that normally otherwise you wouldn’t have. Everything ruled by Saturn is under the microscope now and it’s a good idea to review these kinds of things. Like any rules or regulations you should be following, structures at work or in business, and traditions and foundations. Making changes to our ongoing projects or going over old ones can be successful, however, taking on new projects or responsibilities or commitments is probably not a great idea, it’s a time to simplify and restructure our lives first.
During Saturn’s Retrograde phase we will be dealing with particularly strong issues. Just remember as we take care of our unfinished business, Saturn is teaching us to be more patient and disciplined. Any skills we acquire during the retrograde phase will prove essential in the long-run to our success.
Saturn’s lessons for all of us during its Retro phase is to take on certain responsibilities that we have already been developing or that are more important in our lives, so extra time is needed to take stock and to make sure everything is in order before we can continue. Saturn will present us with challenges and tests to make sure we are ready to take on these extra, but necessary responsibilities. The lessons we learn and that are taught by the Teacher of the Zodiac, Saturn, are often rough but they are valuable, and we are always rewarded by Saturn for our hard work and a job well done!
The shadow side to Saturn’s Retrograde is you may become sad or depressed, and not speak up for yourself, or act overly shy. If these behaviors get out of control during this time, then you’ll be offered a chance to recognize and admit you’ve got a problem. If this goes too far you can end up needed some help, so you can come out of your depression or isolation. Make sure and talk to someone if you start to feel down or too depressed, no matter what the planets are doing, there is always someone ready to listen and care more than you believe.
This is an excellent time for schooling or training, but we may question it. There’s also going to be questions about our life, faith, and belief systems, as some folks will return to a Spiritual Path they started back in their past. We may need to tweak or edit a project that we plan on publishing or do something related to writing. Whatever you do during Saturn’s Retrograde, remember it’s a time to ride life straight and follow the rules, if you can do that you may learn a lot about life and gain some much needed and valuable insight that you can use for the long-term, and your future success.
