Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse For All Signs Of The Zodiac
The Moon is Full in the sign of Capricornon July 16, 2019, and it’s a partial Lunar Eclipse. It comes together around 4:39 PM CST, 5:39 PM EDT. The Eclipse occurs when the Moon in Capricorn opposes the Sun in Cancer.
This is an especially potent Full Moon, being its a Partial Lunar Eclipse, so our focus turns towards our relationships under this lunation. But also our work and family lives.
Eclipses create the energy of crisis in our lives, and often they bring up what we are lacking. This is a time when we can suddenly realize there’s something missing, perhaps a need or want we can’t seem to fulfill. This Eclipse can actually split some relationships up, but it also brings folks together. Suddenly, we may realize that there’s a need to have other folks around helping support us. This is also about making sure the foundation of our soul tribe of friends and family is strong. But Lunar Eclipses are not always about relationships, they can also bring up certain needs in other areas of our life, such as our relationship to our work, or to our health and bodies, it really can be about anything. The Full Moon lights up our deeper feelings that have been just sitting below the surface to be dealt with.
Under the Full Moon, we can be very emotional and express ourselves without warning. This is a time when some folks will claim out loud what they are really about and what they want in life. We are reacting from a strong but illogical emotional place. Lunar Eclipses are stronger and more potent than a normal Full Moon, so its effects can last up to about six months after it occurs.
Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and are oppositions, this time around the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Capricorn are bumping against one another. So we must take a closer look at our needs, lacks and wants in our lives and create a balance around what we should be working on. This Full Moon is about our personal private lives, our need for a secure home base, and how we nurture ourselves. The other side of this energy is our public life, careers, reputations, and how we take responsibility. Being attached and love is ruled by Cancer, while our success and rewards and punishments are ruled by Capricorn energy, this polarity deals with balancing unconditional and conditional love. The Cancer energy involved encourages us to value our home life and that foundation, as well as our roots, while the Capricorn energy wants us to consider our sense of duty and responsibility along with our professional lives. Cancer energy is about being content with being dependent, Capricorn wants us to grow the hell up and take responsibility! Cancer energy also represents the beginning and where we come from, and Capricorn is about the goals we set. Ideally, setting some sort of balance between these two energies is what the Full Moon is asking us to do.
This Full Moon is helping us learn how to strike a balance between our commitments to our work and families both. As we’ve been holding onto something emotionally that’s very important, as the Cosmos is reminding us via the Full Moon that it’s still there to let out and express how we are feeling, so these issues to be released. Hopefully, over time we’ll have all the information we need to better understand what all of this means.
The Full Moon energy brings up an inner conflict to be dealt with, and it can prove difficult to sit with such strong feelings, so we need to find ways to express them. This causes that crisis situation, as some kind of sudden awareness around what we are lacking in our life usually comes up! This is an opportunity to figure out what we need. So during this highly emotionally charged time, our relationships can be challenging, and either broken or dramatically made even stronger. We also may experience some kind of major Ah-Ha moments or epiphanies. This leads us to learning more about what we don’t have and taking some actions to obtain it.
Full Moons and especially Lunar Eclipses bring up issues in our lives to finish something. Our emotions are stronger than usual and there’s often some sort of drama involved around whatever part of our own personal Astrology Birth Chart the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse is cruising through. That’s the area of our life that the Cosmos is pushing us to make much-needed changes in. There can be some serious drama in whatever part of our life this Eclipse is going through. The Lunar Eclipse occurring in the sign of Capricorn sets off our inner awareness about the flaws in the structures we’ve built in our lives, especially in our careers and involving our home and family life. So there are serious decisions that need to be made to fix things. This Lunar Eclipse is a powerful one with confrontational energy, because it’s making a conjunction to psychological and powerful Pluto, and is opposite Mercury (now in Retrograde). This brings out intense emotional reactions compulsive behavior, and of course, power struggles around crisis situations, so this can be quite a complicated time, as there’s a stronger need to do something, it can cause us to feel a sense of urgency. Take some time for yourself and try to relax while we get through this strong energy.
On June 8, Venus the Goddess of Love, that rules over our relationships and often financial affairs enters the sign of Gemini, through July 3rd.
We definitely can be more talkative and naturally curious, under this influence. Our minds are whirling with juicy information along with a stronger than normal desire to share, however, we can get lost in conversation. We can be extremely indecisive but also aware, because we can read between the lines in any form of communication. This is a time when we like to multi-task as we’re motivated by our own curiosity. Which with Venus involved, the Goddess of Love, that means some people are also going to be more curious than usual about being free and not in a relationship, as the air sign Gemini influence can make us desire more alone time, and we can feel quite detached and therefore, this is not a time to take love or a relationship too seriously. As there are no major Cosmic Connections this month, but we do have two of 2019’s major transits, so certain energies are playing out in June that connects us back to where we were last January in some way, and where we will probably end up by the years end.
The New Moon occurs on June 3rd in the sign of Gemini, this brings fresh new energy into our lives. If we stay aware of the positive energies this influence brings, we can learn from others by simply being curious, as we can work on improving our social and communication skills. So we can learn how to think and express ourselves with our words. On June 4 Mercury enters the sign of the crab, Cancer. Many of you will have to make some decisions around your family or other close relations, home, and if dealing with real estate. This won’t slow us down much, but the Trickster planet of the Zodiac does hit its pre-shadow of Retrograde cycle, (yes that is Mercury in Retrograde on June 20.) During this upcoming Mercury in Retrograde cycle, it will go between the Signs of Cancer and Leo, but remember that’s just the sign the planet Mercury is in and that energy affects every single sign of the Zodiac. This Influence can cause some of you to feel extremely negative or overly critical, cynical, or judgemental in your thinking. It will be important during this time to make sure and not react without really thinking things through first.
On the 6th of June, Jupiter forms a somewhat challenging aspect to Uranus, which again can cause restlessness if our dreams are not happening! And especially if what we thought could happen in our future is no longer fulfilling or is no longer inspirational. You might go on some hunt for something impractical or go on some unusual tangent that doesn’t last for long.
Starting June 8 Venus enters the sign of Gemini, through July 3. As this builds around the 13th or so we can start to feel it’s presence more strongly in our personal lives. It’s easy to fall for some sort of illusion maybe through others or by our own unrealistic ideas. There have been and will be consequences around disorganization, neglect, extravagance, and exaggeration. You can feel quite restless and this can be stronger than usual, and our routines just may not make us as happy during this time. So it’s easy to get off track and take some sort of new path, but it will be practical. This can cause us to wander and feel sort of lost because we are not grounded. Also, don’t be fooled as this is a time when we can be taken by something or someone, make sure and watch very carefully that you do not ignore or avoid things, and you might just change your beliefs or philosophies in some way to justify how you’ve been avoiding these issues. There can be issues around setting boundaries for ourselves, so keep your head out of the clouds. It might be important to be more strict with discipline, and what your normal schedule is to make sure you don’t get carried away. Spiritual inspiration can be strong as we get to let go of false beliefs, expectations, and old worn out attitudes.
The Full Moon occurs on June 17th in the sign of Sagittarius, this serves as a reminder to explore beyond your normal boundaries, and change up our usual everyday routines, and our way of thinking. Also, it’s all too easy to blow things out of proportion during this time, so we need to let go of what is no longer working for us or is serving our lives anymore. Let this powerful opposition between the Sun and the Moon (FULL MOON) take your troubles from the past away forever! The Full Moon can be one of the most difficult times for us emotionally, feeling and expressing gratitude to the Universe can help us move forward on our soul’s journey. During this Full Moon, we should concentrate on our future plans and goals, there is a more optimistic vibe in the air with a sense of moving forward in a new direction, hopefully on that helps heal the planet and focus more so on the Divine Feminine. This energy is all about moving ahead as it is strongly enthusiastic in nature, and even its energy helps us take these actions. But we must remember at the same time, Full Moons are all about releasing what is no longer working for us or serving us. So there might be a lot of endings or chapters closing during this time as well.
On June 18th Saturn makes a beautiful connection to dreamy Neptune,this is a major transit influencing us for most of 2019. This is the second in a set of three meetings between these two planets, the last one occurred in January of 19 and the next one will come together in November of 19. This brings together the discipline of Saturn and dreams of Neptune, so it helps bring structure and meaning to our ideals and plans for our future dreams and goals. Neptune has room to grow and we are better able to show our acceptance and devotion which can help us bring new meaning to our work especially, but also traditions and customs. We feel more strongly and enjoy the sense of purpose in our lives under this influence. This can harmonize our spirituality with our material goals here in this physical existence or realm. The best part of this influence is how our circumstances because of our attitude can help us follow through with our dreams, as we can turn our visions and ideals seriously into reality! Work on syncing your imagination and physical actions now, so visualize what you want in your mind and feel it, and then take steps to actually make it happen, as this is serious manifesting energy folks, your efforts will be rewarded. Because there is a stronger belief and sense that our dreams are realizable in some way now, we can build a much stronger faith and acceptance.
June 20th is important because even though Mercury doesn’t officially go Retrograde until next month on July 7th, it starts it’s Pre Shadow period. Mercury is Retrograde this time around from July 7th through August 1st, but it starts its journey on the 20th of June. Mercury must cover territory that it knows already first, so we will be doing some backtracking during its Shadow Period this month. This shadow time will have us go over everything that has to do with our thoughts, conversations, negotiations, and ideas. There can be a sense of turnaround, revisiting things, and delays. So pay attention to everything that comes up from the 20th till July 7th. Think about how life is speaking to you, ask how do you receive your signs or messages from the Universe, or whatever you want to call it! It speaks to us through synchronicities and messages that are usually quite subtle, that you tend to write off as just a coincidence. But the more aware you are this month, and the more you pay attention to those signs and messages the easier July will be for you!

On June 21st the Sun will shift into more withdrawn Cancer, which also marks the Summer Solstice.
The Sun shifts into more private, emotional Cancer until July 22nd, and our attention is turned towards our family unit, home life, and anything that makes us feel at home, safe, and secure. This symbolizes our need to plant roots and to figure out just where we belong in this world, but the Cosmos may not be as cooperative as we would like, and we can feel moody and pensive during this time.
The Sun’s entrance into Moon-ruled Cancer not only marks the Summer Solstice, but has us more focused on our personal lives, and this includes building you and your family’s safety and security, while nurturing your loved ones and creating a comfortable life at home. It just makes sense that the symbol for the security-minded sign of Cancer is the Crab, this is a creature that takes its home wherever it goes! It’s important to take care of your social obligations, especially your professional life while the Sun is in Cancer, all your activities outside of your home will be more successful when you have a strong family and home base to fall back on, and a more solid schedule. Over the next month make sure to set time aside to relax and recharge your batteries and don’t forget how important it is to spend quality time with those you love.
On the 21st, Neptune turns Retrograde. This fog will roll in as it casts a veil over our normal practical lives. This influence causes us to temporarily lose our inspiration because we are re-working our dreams and wishes with what’s happening emotionally within ourselves. This Retrograde cycle itself lasts until Nov 27th, which means this will be a period of confusion and indecisiveness. You may feel stuck or like you are in limbo, but it is a great time to work on discovering your inner-self more.
OnJune 26, Mercury shifts into the sign of Leo. When Mercury is in the house of Leo, people’s high aspirations and ideas will be put through tests and challenges. But we must remember during this time Mercury will already be in its Pre-Shadow period of Retrograde. Therefore, there can be confusion of all sorts over the same. People can lose their temper more often once Mercury is Retrograde, especially in the sign of Leo with its pre-shadow period beginning June 20th. Those in power and authority are likely to make major mistakes and blunders resulting in utter chaos in the country, which is really the last thing we need right now here in the US, but this applies to all countries. Issues involving love and relationships are likely to heat up during this time, so relationships can be difficult as communication is fuzzy and confusing. Don’t allow children to overindulge or even adults you care for, as they can take eating too much or playing too much to a whole new level. Starting anything new or that you don’t fully trust should be put off during this time and waited out until Mercury is totally out of Retrograde later in August. Leo is ruled by the heart as well, so we should pay extra close attention to what we are eating or any bad habits we might have during this time.
