Astro Update for the New Year

Happy New Year! As you continue to make out your New Years resolutions, don’t forget to also ask the Universe to bring you what you wish for and desire in 2018. You may be curious about what actually might happen if you do simply ask the Universe for what it is you want or need and if your wishes will be granted!

When it comes to having an actual relationship with the Universe, you should remember that energy is always there, just waiting for you to take the next step, and that is Communicating! Relationships of all kinds don’t work and slowly crumble apart without some sort of communication. Take some time to talk to the Universe just like you do with a friend or family member. It just takes some getting used to when it comes to communicating with the Universe because it’s more of a subtle, intuitive kind of energy. Once you understand what their messages look and feel like there will be no denying that they are sending you direct messages.

Ask the Universe to show you a sign that you’re on the right path for 2018. Once you get a sign, however that looks, you’ll feel like your wishes are being heard and answered. And of course you’re not going to get everything you asked for right away, but in time the energies will show up in one way or another and wishes will be granted!

Everything happens for a reason! So if you feel like you’ve got a sign or message from the Universe then pay attention. Especially, if you start getting those messages or signs repeatedly, that’s a clear sign in itself that the Universe is trying to communicate something to you.

This is a funny scenario since it hits so close to home for me. But if someone is telling you that you should write a book, well that’s a nice compliment. But if someone else also suggests the same advice then there’s more to it. And if you should have another person bring it up, it’s time to get writing! Ha! (Note to Self)

The Universe sends us people or what I call “messengers” to show us our path and what we need to be doing on a Spiritual Level. There are signs coming at us actually all the time. It is all about how you view the world, as perception is everything! If you pay attention and are aware that the Universe is always expanding its awareness through you, you will actually see exactly what I am talking about. Be open to all the signs that are constantly coming at you, see the world as one giant message, sign, or symbol, and look at everything with a purpose, so everything you see, hear, or feel is a sign of some kind and you’ll start to get it!

January Full Moons
The New Year’s Full Moon just came together Monday evening, so if you haven’t set intentions yet I would be getting to it now!

The next Full Moon at the end of January will be a “Blue” Moon, which is mystifying and intense in itself! This particular Full Moon in Leo will also mark the beginning of “Eclipse Season!” This is going to be a preview of what the rest of the Winter Season will bring you. Usually about a month or so prior to an actual Eclipse, we will get signs or messages from the Universe, as Eclipses bring much-needed change and opportunities, and this is just about the time when we should start receiving those messages, as it’s about 30 days before the end of month when then Eclipse occurs!

The most important Astrological change this month actually is about the planet Uranus, which has now moved forward from its Retrograde cycle. It has been in Retro for a while now slowing everything down. If you feel like you have been stuck, then you need to look at your personal Astrology “Birth Chart” and what part Uranus is visiting now, this area of your life is where you’ll experience an Awakening! Changes in this area of your life are coming in the next several weeks.

Lucky Time Coming!!
Larger than life Jupiter is connecting to passionate Mars both in the sign of Scorpio soon! So over the next few days, some of you can be extremely lucky if you start something new, or even if you pick up something you left behind to start again! If you’re starting a new job or diet for example, or even a new relationship, these cosmic forces are in your favor. This can be an especially lucky time for all the water signs, Scorpio, Cancer, & Pisces! But all the signs can benefit from this energy starting January 2nd through the 6th!

To get even more detailed…January 4th is the best day right up until that evening to initiate something no matter what your Zodiac sign may be! The bigger the better! Just do something and go for it!

After Eclispe Season

“After Eclipse Season” 

Well, here we are finally folks, a few days after the “Great American Solar Eclipse!” That really got intense, right? Let’s chat about the other Cosmic Connections coming together this week, they are quite potent and can affect our life’s journey and destiny.

Saturn the “Lord of Karma” turns direct and out of its 5 months long Retrograde phase on August 25th. This energy has not been helping matters much, as it has weighed us down for so long now, and probably added to the heavy energy that came with that Solar Eclipse on Monday.

Now that Saturn is coming out of Retrograde we need to be paying attention to what signs and messages the Universe is sending because they are trying to tell us it is time now to move forward in some way. So how will that apply to your life?

Saturn rules over how we choose to take on our responsibilities, work, destiny, and Karma! So if you’ve been feeling stuck, tested, or challenged in any certain area of your life, it’s probably due to Saturn being Retrograde since April 6th, 2017, as it has really been holding us back. On August 24th there some good energy that helps us release any pent-up energy you have been holding on to. So make sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, to do some serious energy work! On August 25th, the Sun will make a nice trine to Juno, the Goddess of Marriage or Partnerships. On August 27th there’s a rare amazing energy coming together, it’s one of the most awesome Astrological aspects we get to experience this year. A strong harmonious connection between optimistic Jupiter and structured Saturn. It’s been nearly 13 yrs since these two have met in this beautiful way, and it won’t happen again for another 6 yrs! When these two heavy hitting planets come together in harmony we can see much success. Do something that is proactive in regards to your personal and professional goals. This is the perfect time to make something big happen!

“Spring Equinox – Get Inspired”

The Sun shifts into Aries today and the “Spring Equinox” (Vernal Equinox) begins which is the first day of the “Astrological New Year.” There are great things on the horizon with such empowering energy helping us along into this new Zodiac cycle. This is the time of new beginnings, as the light of the Sun slowly takes over the dark. The Spring Equinox is when the Sun’s time slowly grows through the Summer Solstice. We get to live our lives more outwardly again, as we crawl back out to the land of the living and get outdoors again from winter and bask in the light of the Sun!

Spring is a season of growth and rejuvenation and this Astrological New Year is urging you to explore new horizons and take new directions now. This time of year many folks around the world celebrate the Spring Equinox with all kinds of interesting old traditions and festivities, ones that honor the Goddess of Renewal, Spring, as the Earth regenerate herself once again. The season is obviously very important for many different reasons. It’s a time of awakenings, beginnings, and positive energy chasing the dark away and bring out the light more so.

Many folks also celebrate this season with religious or spiritual celebrations, but all of it stems from the fact that this is first and foremost a major “Astrological Event.” This event is about the Sun’s light expanding, as it moves from the deeply sensitive waters of “feeling” Pisces and into more action-packed, motivated, and fiery Aries! This light now represents the promise of a greater more warm life changing energy coming in.

If you’ve been having a rough go of it since Winter began with all the wild Astrological Events affecting us and just running amuck in general, consider this event to be just like a calendar New Year! In fact, it’s much stronger in energy because it is an Equinox. Get inspired that this is a new time and a renewed fresh energy coming in, and it will take over the shadowy winter time energy and provide us with life.

May the Sun’s warmth and Spring’s Energy bring about new beginnings for you that lead to your deepest dreams and desires coming true.
