Mercury, the planet of communication, has been burning through Sagittarius, the most upbeat, extra sign in the Zodiac for the past three and half weeks. You might have felt more optimistic, open-minded, and outspoken over the last month with Mercury in Sagittarius. With Mercury in Capricorn, our thinking is much more systematic, and our focus is more practical and sober. Under this influence, it’s much easier to concentrate on the task at hand. But our conversations can bring up reality checks, as we focus more on business and practical matters. Our thought processes and patterns of communication are more logical, orderly, and organized now. It’s easier to sort out what is relevant and essential, which helps us KEEP THINGS REAL, as we speak in a no-nonsense manner. Being precise and cautious comes more naturally. However, we need to be wary of becoming too rigid with our thoughts and words, as we can appear cold, cut-off, or harsh to others, and there is a fine line between being real and pessimistic.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Mercury entered its Pre-Shadow phase on September 8, when it slows down to come to a stop, and then it appears to move backward during its actual Retrograde phase starting on the 26th.
Libra is a Cardinal Air sign, and Cardinal signs initiate. They can be dynamic energy, so we should be working on starting something. But it’s best to wait and plan things out until Mercury is done with its Retrograde cycle in October, or you might get taking back once or even twice over the coals to make things work. Honestly, it can be a big mess of misunderstandings and mistakes. But if you feel like you have to start something during Mercury’s Retro phase, then go for it! But take your time and be cautious.
Each new season of the year begins with Cardinal sign energy. So the Sun entered into the sign of Libra on September 22 and ushered in the Fall or Autumn Season, which is called the Autumn Equinox. This year the Equinox occurred right before Mercury entered its Retrograde cycle on September 26. So will be under a whole lot of Libra air energy throughout October.
Mercury in Retrograde takes us back to rethink, relearn, and re-assess our situations. And this often brings up memories from the past so that we can be quite emotional and scattered. Any pain or hurt feelings that has been suppressed or ignored may come back up! It’s important to acknowledge these feelings and work through the pain. Don’t be ashamed of your past. When the planet Mercury starts to slow down to get ready to appear moving backward or turn Retrograde through the Cosmos. So the energies are going to be quite strange. Today is a Brand New Day and a New Era! Jupiter enters a new sign into Aquarius, which is a fast-paced, exciting kind of energy that can be unpredictable throughout 2021. It’s a time of innovation and progression, as Jupiter can spread around some abundance once again.
Over the last year, Jupiter, the planet of growth, philosophy, and expansion, has been transiting the sign of Capricorn, alongside planets Saturn and Pluto in a very well structured Stellium connection. This trio has been dismantling our lives over the last year, in many different ways, so it’s been a time of crisis that brought out our fears to work through. It has been difficult to see the light at the end of this dark and stormy tunnel. Jupiter’s influence has been stunted, so it’s not been handing out miracles or blessings as usual. Instead, it’s been in restrictive Capricorn challenging our faith and spirituality.
Jupiter is all about expanding our horizons, as it seeks deeper meanings and spiritual truths, especially involving education, freedom, community, and ideals. Aquarius energy matches up better with Jupiter’s purpose. This helps us feel more comfortable as this energy is easier to take in.
