December’s New Moon/ Solar Eclipse 🌟 💫 🌚🌒⭐

On December 14, 2020 – a New Moon, Total Solar Eclipse occurs at 23°08’ of Sagittarius.

Over the last few weeks of Eclipse Season, a portal of energy has been opened. We have been walking blindly through one of the darkest years of our lives. The uncertainty alone has been a major source of anxiety for many. But we have hope for something equally as good and
amazing in the future. This New Moon Eclipse, all though dark (all New Moon’s have no light to illuminate), is the symbol of light we need that shines the way towards the end of this tumultuous year. It is the beginning of a New Era!

This Eclipse brings endings and new beginnings, to potentially get rid of an old inner reality we’ve been holding onto. It’s time to take full responsibility for what we’re creating in our life. Sagittarius energies encourage us to go out beyond the normal boundaries, and explore or discover some new great adventure. It’s an opportunity to express our visions, and to connect with energy that’s new and fresh

With the New Moon in the sign of Sagittarius, we tend to feel more optimistic and hopeful, so it’s no surprise that when the Moon and Sun both align (New Moon) in this fire sign, that faith and hope will be restored. No matter how difficult life has been, we may feel or just know that things will get better. We tend to believe in spiritual truths and deeper meanings, more so.

However, with the Moon and Sun both conjunct the Moon’s South Node, which means this Eclipse can also bring significant endings, loss, and chapters closing in our lives. So make sure to honor your own feelings and others both, even if you’re not feeling particularly hopeful right now.

This Eclipse is conjunct mental Mercury, which means it’s important that we speak our truth. It serves as a reminder that our words hold power, and we can quickly realize how we speak our ideas into existence and create our own reality daily. Conversations can be interesting, so try to remain uplifting and inspiring without being dishonest or ignoring your integrity. Manifest something positive in your life to come in!

The Solar Eclipse is squaring foggy Neptune in its own sign of Pisces. So we must try to see the difference between positive thoughts and wishful thinking. It’s important not to make false promises or commitments. We may feel exhausted by this energy.

Luckily, the Moon, Sun, Mercury, and South Node are all in the sign of Sagittarius. And the New Moon makes a nice Trine to Mars in Aries. We’ve got extra fiery willpower to take action and follow through. As our motivation levels are high! It’s important to channel your energy into learning, growth, and evolution. Think of others, not just yourself.

Sagittarius is ruled by over the top Jupiter, so we can sometimes overdo it under all this Sadge energy. Over this last year, with Jupiter’s transit of Capricorn, we have been taught to live with less. Now we can use these skills to break out of the Pandemic and change things around.

Jupiter forms amazing Sextile connections with Venus and asteroid Juno on the same day as the Eclipse. We’re talking major “Huge Opportunities” for wealth and growth!

PAY ATTENTION! If you are one of the many, who like to SET INTENTIONS with the NEW MOON. This energy is going to give us a major boost in the manifesting department! It’s a time to focus on what you want, so MAKE A WISH LIST! Since Jupiter is involved, the sky is that limit! Go big or go home!

And finally, we also have Chiron, which is in fiery Aries turning direct from Retrograde just right before this Eclipse on December 15th. Chiron is the Wounded Healer and Teacher of the Zodiac! This is our gift from the Cosmos, as it can be a special time of healing.

Venus, the planet of love, shifts into more faithful Sagittarius on the 15th, yet another planet in a Fire Sign! We may desire more space and freedom from our nearest and dearest, but Covid going around it may not be such a bad thing. We just want to do our own thing and give others the chance to learn and grow.

The rare Solar Eclipse is just the beginning of what looks to be a great week astrologically! As both Saturn and Jupiter shift into the sign of Aquarius on the 17th & 20th. And on the same day of the magical Winter Solstice Dec 21st, these two planets meet up in the rare event called the “Great Conjunction.” This is perhaps one of the biggest Cosmic shifts we’ll see in our lifetime. And it starts off a brand new 20 yr cycle, even though we won’t understand its magnitude of influence into way down the road.
