Mental Slowdown – Mercury in Taurus

Mental Slowdown 

Mental Mercury enters the sign of Taurus today, it stays there through May 11th.

This energy tends to slow our minds way down, especially with it also being Taurus Season (the Sun in Taurus.) So things aren’t going to be moving as quickly as they have been, and we can feel somewhat stuck. Especially with the ongoing virus situation.

We tend to be more down to earth, stable, and grounded with Mercury in Taurus, and our common sense is stronger, but our fantasies may be put on hold for the time being. We can come off more deliberate, and sometimes harsh under this influence, but it can be easier to communicate our emotions.

We will stick to what’s worked for us in the past, and who’s been tried and true, as our tribe means everything during this time. And we can be stubborn about using new solutions to solve problems, so trying new things isn’t so easy. Our focus is stronger as we can pay attention to one thing at a time, which can help make life more simple in these complicated times.

Be mindful of being overly strict or conservative. Don’t get too stubborn with your thoughts and opinions, and allow others to share how they are feeling during this cycle.
