Happy New Year, Happy New Decade, what a wild ride it’s already been in the first few days of 2020!

We start this month off in what’s called an Astrological “Stellium” of planets, all in the sign of Capricorn, that actually started back in early December. This keeps us very aware and focused on our future plans and goals, so most of us are thinking about how we can rebuild certain parts of our lives.

A “Stellium” in Astrology is when there are three or more planets in the same Zodiac Sign at the same time. So this energy is highly concentrated and is a very powerful source of energy that helps us focus and manifest what we truly desire. Capricorn energy is known for being the manfestor and builder of the Zodiac! For the next three weeks, the Sun, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto, and Mercury plus an Asteroid called Ceres, and the South Node Destiny Point of the Moon are all in the sign of Capricorn! Wow! That’s a lot of energy in the builder of the Zodiac.

This is a very powerful time to continue Setting Intentions with the Universe, as we are spiritually more aware and in tune, by clearing out old energies and bringing in new energies than we can see more clearly our future plans and goals. You can do this through things like meditation, journal-writing, exercise, and clearing out your spaces, especially here in the physical! Clean out a closet and watch what you manifest in your life. Get rid of the dust and clutter and see what kind of energies you open up in your life.

Ask the Universe to help you create your wishes, dreams, future plans and goals. The energy of all things Capricorn is being strongly activated at this time. It doesn’t matter what your Sun Sign is, as we all have Capricorn energy somewhere in our personal Astrology Birth Chart. And whatever area of your Chart this “Stellium” is traveling through currently is the part of your life you need to remain focused on the most. 

If we work with the old wise ways of manifesting, we can boost our skills and develop things. Since we are talking about Capricorn’s energy as a whole and not just the Sun Sign, we have to look at Capricorn’s ruling planet, which is Saturn, and currently, Saturn is actually transiting the sign of Capricorn for the next 11 months! Also, lucky Jupiter is in Capricorn for the same amount of time. And mental Mercury will be in Capricorn until mid-January. Under these very powerful energies, we just need to focus our attention on one area of our life that we want to see something new or different happen. Try to only pick one thing over these next few weeks and concentrate on achieving that goal. If you get all scattered and try to work on a bunch of major things right now, it probably won’t work out for the best. We’ve only got a few weeks to work on something that can change our life for the better. This is a powerful trio of Cosmic energies to help you manifest something amazing in your life.

January 3rd: Mars in Sagittarius 

When this energetic, feisty planet enters the sign of adventure and travel, we are more than ready to be done with old routines and schedules. There is a whole world out there to explore, it’s just waiting for us to go discover it, so make sure during Mars’ run through Sagittarius you get out of the house, and go out of your neighborhood, go explore and do something, the possibilities can be amazing during this time. Under the sign of Sagittarius, we are more concerned with things like philosophy, religion, morals, ethics, and anything that helps us feel optimistic again. Our faith can be restored during this time. We can become over-enthusiastic supporters and advocates, or zealous crusaders. When you think or share your beliefs allow your inner philosopher to guide the way. Mars runs through the sign of Sagittarius through February 16th

January 7: Mars inconjuncts Uranus

Ideally, our lives would run smoothly if everything went well all the time. But that’s not going to ever happen, as the planets who influence us are never in perfect harmony. Don’t let this energy throw you off when something or someone forces a change in your plans. This is exactly what can happen when the action planet meets up with unpredictable Uranus. The best thing you can do is to pay attention to what other people want and change your expectations of exactly how things should go. The more flexible you are the easier it will be to adapt to the changing circumstances we all are going through.

January 8: Jupiter conjuncts South Node

There can be certain influential or wise important people who show up in your life. They seem to have a strong sense between right and wrong, and a healthy moral ethic. But be careful this also can bring in someone with a very larger than life attitude who seems to know a lot, but it’s not a good thing. Think about setting your own personal path and focus on your goals. Think about what’s worth going after. What’s your future look like through your visions? Who or what is guiding you. The more you stay grounded in your own life the better decisions you will make. Do things your way! Make sure before you trust anyone and what they have to say make sure to do your own research and make them know what in the hell they’re talking about folks! Don’t just take anyone’s word for it.

January 9: Sun conjuncts Mercury

This conjunction is in the sign of more serious Capricorn, so we can feel quite practical during this time. This is an ideal time to review your ideas and plans as you figure out which ones make sense. The time where we start to see the benefits that have come from past conversations, agreements, and ideas we’ve had over the last few months. You know how I can get the attention you deserve for any opinions or ideas that you’ve had, this will help move you forward. As all astrological conjunctions mark a beginning, this is a good time to make new plans with new ideas.

January 10: Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Cancer

The Moon in Cancer is opposing the Sun in more earthly Capricorn. Lunar Eclipses are basically a stronger more intense Full Moon. This is an extremely emotional time that not only raises the ocean tide, but the water within our own bodies, so basically it’s high tide emotionally as well. Between the Lunar Eclipse and the next New Moon, make changes that make you feel more secure, comfortable, and safe. There can be a strong urge to focus more so on your career and financial endeavors, but it’s important to be paying more attention to your family and personal needs at this time.

January 10: Uranus goes Direct from Retrograde

The planet of revolution, change, and divine messages (epiphanies and little Ah-ha moments) shifts directions on this day, so we should expect the unexpected! Our freedom and independence are more important than ever now in the world and on a personal level. People need space to breathe and move around. Don’t allow fear of the unknown to stop you from taking your most important ideas and goals and moving forward with them. Even though we have no idea where things are headed, we must have faith in something better. Be ready to adapt to changes as they come now.

January 12: Mercury conjuncts Saturn and Pluto.

This is intense conjunction energy that is a bit complicated. With Pluto in the mix are conversations can certainly be intense. However, with somber Saturn involved as well will make it very important that you get your facts straight. People are already working up to this energy now, you can see its evidence in our intense conversations as people have a strong point of view and opinions. Be aware of what you are saying and expressing during this time. Our words no matter how communicated have immense power and can either transform others more positively or they can cut people deeply! It’s important to know when to shut your mouth and when to speak up! Sometimes what you have to say doesn’t help matters.

January 12: Saturn conjuncts Pluto **

This is the big conjunction we’ve been waiting for, and already dealing with known as the “Great Shift”. When the father of the Zodiac meets up with powerful Pluto in the middle of Eclipse Season, and peaks right around the Full Moon! The Universe means business, this energy has already been rocking our world. This energy is supercharged up and intense. It serves as a reminder to let go of old ideas about the way the world is and how things should work. The old outdated rules just don’t apply to our lives anymore, so quit trying to live your life by them. This is a time for clearing out space and old energies. And remember conjunctions start new beginnings, so you may have to let something go first to get things moving. Out with old and in with the new as they say! This is a time of transformation and rebuilding what’s been torn down over the last ten years. It’s time for the rules to be changed, as they should reflect the world we live in now. These two are both Outer Planets, and they tend to affect things globally, but also each of us personally. Now, with the planets that represent authority and power having a conversation you should be asking yourself some questions. How can you position yourself in this changing world?

Saturn and Pluto together represent strong concentrated serious energy. Make sure you are directing it in the right direction, don’t just sit around and hide from this energy. It’s time to step up and do what it takes now. January 13: Sun conjuncts Pluto and Saturn

You have a lot of authority, power, and energy at your disposal. Let go of what’s broken or not working unless it can be transformed into a new and better version. Align yourself with those who have clout and the ability to help you. You have a power base and if you stand in it, you will achieve your goals.

January 13: Venus enters Pisces

The planet of love and relationships transits through the poetic sign of Pisces, this can help us bring a little romance back into our life. This influence opens our hearts and helps us see the beauty in other people, as we tend to accept other people’s flaws, and love them for who they are. This is a perfect time to meet someone new or to strengthen the spiritual bond of an existing relationship. Take some time to hang with the object of your affection. This is a time when we feel the ones we love and words are not needed. This beautiful transit runs through February 7.

January 16: Mercury enters Aquarius

Mental Mercury needed a change of pace seriously and it enters into more free-spirited Aquarius, this helps give us a new point of view. And we can work at developing our original creative ideas. It’s a good time to work at leaving old ways of thinking behind. You can really help yourself by looking to the future, and by being inventive and think outside the box. Also knowing where Mercury is currently traveling through in your Astro Birth Chart can help you apply those new, bright ideas to the right part of your life. Mercury is in Aquarius until February 3.

January 20: Sun enters Aquarius

Over the last year, we have been out through lots of changes. When the Sun leaves ambitious Capricorn and enters independent Aquarius, our minds naturally focus on our future goals and we can network, meet new and interesting people, and embrace any new ideas we get now. It’s time to invest in your life and goals and take what life has to offer. Trying to meet goals alone might now be so easy, as Aquarius is the sign of “Teamwork”, so join up with like-minded people during the Sun’s run through Aquarius, it’s a good discover and connect with your community.

January 23: Sun squares Uranus

This influence can make you feel quite restless, and you might start to notice its effects earlier on. If might be time to make some changes to your life, and the year 2020 is all about making major changes. When the Sun meets unpredictable Uranus, the planet of independence, it’s time to shake things up. It’s a good time to get out of any old routines that aren’t working for you. Get out of that rut, and don’t suppress the natural healthy desires you might be having for change. Instead, follow your inner guidance and see where it takes you.

January 26: Venus squares Mars

Sometimes the people we like aren’t necessarily the ones we desire. And sometimes the people who seem intriguing are not good for you. When the Cosmic Lovers get into a tense square like this we can bet our relationships can be a bit shaky for a few days. This can bring tension to both romantic and business relationships. You may just have to agree to disagree if you can. Also, there can be some shady characters running around who seem interesting and knowledgeable. But don’t trust false guru’s and take everyone at face value. Be mindful during this time about how you relate to others.

January 27: Venus conjuncts Neptune

Loving Venus is all about our personal love life but also our relationship to money. Neptune more about universal love. This influence opens our heart and soul, as we can see the inner beauty in the least expected places. Take this dreamy energy and run with it, spend some time with the ones you love and do things that make you happy. This can be a very lucky few days for some of you.

January 28: Mars squares Neptune

With the planet of action and control, Mars in a tense connection to the foggy side of Neptune, things definitely may not be what they appear to be. And with Mars in go get em Sagittarius we can be in a big old hurry anyway, but this energy can take you into unfamiliar territory, especially with Neptune being in its own sign of Pisces right now. This is a time of confusion, and it can have you questioning what you are doing for a few days. Try to avoid being straightforward, and pay attention to what you feel when your around other people, and before making any important decisions.
