November 2019 – Astro Highlights
November 1st – Venus Enters Sagittarius
Since lovely and lusty Venus is now finished with its trip through the murky waters of Scorpio, it moves back into the light in fiery Sagittarius. So basically we can feel more hopeful and optimistic in things like love, relationships, and with situations involving our money! If you have been hiding your heart or your feelings from those you love, it’s time to come back out to the land of the living and find what makes you happy and brings you joy! It’s time to use this new hopeful energy to overcome your fears and remember that anything is possible.
November 5th, 2019 – Mars Square Pluto
Mars makes a tense square to intense Pluto, which can bring power struggles and a stronger desire to win someone or something over. With Mars involved you may want to assert yourself and get what you want and do it right away! But no matter how much you may want something, there may be circumstances or people that will make it more difficult if not impossible. When Mars Squares Pluto we are challenged or tested to see what we are capable of, and why not, this helps us learn how to be good at losing. Sometimes we fear losing, but this influence tends to push us out of our comfort zone, so we can reach our full potential. If you never learn how to lose in your life you will never be able to win.
November 11th, 2019 – Mercury Conjunct Sun
When Mercury meets up with the Sun it begins a new Mercury cycle, this is a great time to finish up any projects that take mental concentration. Do you have perhaps a book or website you need to finish? Maybe you want to learn a new skill or sell something online? Mercury will be hanging out with the Sun who will help you with what your next move should be to obtain your goals. This won’t happen again for years, so if an opportunity comes up definitely see what it’s all about.
November 12th, 2019 – Full Moon In Taurus
The Full Moons in Taurus are some of the best feeling most lucky Full Moons of the year. This particular Full Moon is also making some interesting meeting with Neptune in Pisces, and some sweet Trines to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, and is opposing Mercury in Scorpio. Yes, that is a lot of energy to go around. Because there is so much Earth energy involved, the Full Moon in Taurus will help us deal with obvious problems that we have been choosing to ignore or refuse to deal with. This is a time of common sense and sound judgment, so with the Full Moon in Taurus you will see what you get and you probably will get what you see. It’s important to watch for being overly stubborn, although some self-interest is healthy and necessary, as Taurus energy helps us to put some much-needed attention on ourselves once again.
November 14th, 2019 – Venus Square Neptune
When Venus makes a square to Neptune our feelings of insecurity can lead to high expectations that just are not going to happen, perhaps in the way we had hoped for. Because this Square is in the most hopeful but foggier signs of the Zodiac, you should be extra careful about wishful thinking. How we see ourselves can become an issue in our relationships, as we have a tendency to over-idealize romance and relationships, and plain out ignore warning signs that most others can see so well. This is a time to pay attention and reassess your hopes and dreams, but it’s just as important not to set the bar so high, and it’s equally as important to understand what’s realistically possible and what’s not! We deserve the Sun and Moon, but sometimes we push things and don’t allow ourselves enough time to get there. Don’t let this energy discourage you, be patient. We are more tender and affectionate at this time which can lead to new relationships, but stay woke folks, as the Neptunian influence can cause confusion. It’s just wise to wait until after this transit is over before making any commitments, so don’t be so trusting and fall victim to the wrong person.
“Warning for anyone who is susceptible to the influence of alcohol or drugs, this is a time when addiction can go too far and often there are overdoses. Be mindful and if you suffer from depression make sure and talk to someone if you are feeling bad, there is always someone who will listen.”
November 19th, 2019 – Mars Enters Scorpio
With Mars in Scorpio, it can be easier to assert yourself in the actions you take, so you can feel more driven and focused to get things done. Mars is at home in Scorpio, being the co-ruler of this sign, so it likes it here and will assist you on getting things done. We are more strong-willed, passionate, single-minded, and resilient under this energy. Once you are on a mission it can be very difficult for anyone to stop you during this time. There is a stronger desire to experience our emotional depths, so we can feel the urge to penetrate the surface of life in order to explore deeper levels of powerful existence. This is also a time where we can get caught up in what others tend to repress, so all that has been hidden, kept secret, or ignored can come out to experience and understand better.
November 20th, 2019 – Mercury Goes Direct
Hooray, Mercury stations direct and moves out of its Retrograde phase! Mercury has spent an unusually long time in Scorpio and has been in Retrograde since Halloween, and even though it will stay in Scorpio for a few more weeks, things can slowly start to go back to normal when it comes to communications, especially. Our inner detective has been strong, but with Mercury direct now, some of the things you were researching or obsessing over will finally make sense or slowly start to come together. As things start to make sense, be mindful that a flood of information can start to pour back in to make sense of and this can be mentally overwhelming and stressful. Expect some “a-ha” moments over the next few weeks, but also things may be rocky at first. Mercury doesn’t just start and stop on a dim, it moves as we do and now that is headed in the right direction once again, it also has to pick up the pace and get back to its normal speed. This “Shadow period” as it is commonly called means there may be more disruptions and misunderstandings. Slowly but surely Mercury will get back to normal and so will our lives again, as technical glitches and snafus will start to calm back down, and the things that weren’t making sense will again very soon.
November 22, 2019 – Sun Enters Sagittarius
The Sun enters into the sign of Sagittarius today, so Happy Birthday to all of you Sagittarians! Thanks to the Sagittarius season, we all become a bit wiser, hopeful and adventurous this time of the year.
This transit lasts through December 21st. With the Sun in Sagittarius, our focus shifts from the need to make intimate connections with others to a stronger need to get out and have an adventure. While the Sun moves through this fiery mutable sign, there is an urge to learn, grown, and expand our horizons, so we want to understand the world around us. This is a time when we seek out truth but also the higher meaning of any situation we focus on. Our faith and hope are restored and we can feel optimistic about life once again.
Since we are feeling more brave and courageous, we want to head down new and different paths, as our minds are wide open. Our confidence levels can soar now, so we can be overly optimistic as we focus more on the “bigger picture” and our dreams, instead of just the little details of our mundane everyday life. However, we tend to overdo things and can get carried away! This is the perfect time to work on our faith, hope, and future visions. This is your time to dream big. Don’t worry about the “how”, just make sure your goals are big enough and motivating, as you want to find your true meaning and purpose.
November 24th, 2019 – Venus Conjunct Jupiter
This amazing energy is what all the Astrologers have been talking about, so if you are an Astrology enthusiast of some kind, you might be quite excited to learn about this energy! However, on the same day Mars starts is opposition with rebellious Uranus, and the Moon also briefly joins Mars in the middle of this heated up energy. This can produce a lot of intensity and a strong desire for change. You may not want change because you want to move away from something, or because your current situation is unstable, but many of you are also feeling anxious and excited all at the same time about new opportunities coming in.
This certainly can be one heck of a freaking interesting day for many different reasons. It seems like those who have strong Sagittarius energy in their chart will experience some sort of expansion, uplifting, or happy go lucky kind of energy with these influences. While the fixed signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius) may feel like they are caught up in a whirlwind of craziness. But no matter what you sign maybe we all will feel this energy in one way or another. Be careful of accidents and make sure to pay attention to your surroundings.
November 26th, 2019 – Venus Enters Capricorn
Venus the planet of love, money, and lust changes signs into realistic, accomplished Capricorn. Venus moves fast around the Zodiac wheel in exact order, so we must take advantage of the energies she puts off while in the sign of Capricorn for about the next month. You can feel more reserved when it comes to displaying your emotional side which can help if you are feeling overwhelmed when dealing with a partner or significant others. Be careful as you can bury all those emotions way too deep, and they can come out in a more impulsive, negative or even angry way!
With this placement, our relationships tend to be more on the practical side. That’s because we tend to see people for who they are, and are not afraid to lay the cards out on the table, as we simply take things more seriously. Since we appreciate maturity in our relationships, we take our time when it comes to love and tend to slowly warm up to others, then we can make long-term commitments. There will be more focus on business relationships as well during this time. Hopefully, any emotional issues that come up can be addressed before this cycle begins, so start to get prepared for it now.
November 26th, 2019 – New Moon In Sagittarius
This New Moon is a fabulous one, full of great feeling vibes with another interesting conjunction between lovely Venus and lucky Jupiter, so in fact, this New Moon can reactivate this amazing energy, and then for the cherry on top of this Cosmic Sundae is sweet Mercury and mystical Neptune in water signs hooking up! This is just one of those New Moons that are rare, the best one of year in fact! So it’s a great time for Setting Intentions, (telling the Universe what you want to see happen next in your life) and for visualization work. Get up today and start making a Vision Board, (when you take pictures and literally post them up on a board or a corkboard to see every day, helping create the energy of what you want to see happen in your life.)
Now for the more shadow side to this New Moon, is that aggressive Mars is opposing rebellious Uranus at the same time. This can bring chaotic energy! There also can be more irritation, hostility, or unexpected changes. Anger can boil over and turn into rash actions and silly temper tantrums. We can feel more impulsive and have a total disregard for following the rules, it can feel more important to break the rules to be free from our responsibilities and obligations.
November 27: Neptune goes Direct
Hopefully you’ve used the last few months to revisit your hopes, dreams, and goals and are now ready to turn your dreams into reality. However, since Neptune rules fantasies and spiritual quests make sure to take your time before making important decisions. You’ll need to pay attention and use your common sense to be successful now.
