The sign of Scorpio is notoriously known for being the darkest (symbolically speaking), mysterious, and deeply psychological sign in the Zodiac, as it explores the soul when it’s under the light of the Sun and truths, deceptions, and secrets are exposed.

Scorpio’s lessons are about depth, intimacy, and transformation. Anything fake or false will be shown for what it truly is while the Sun is in this sign, so if something or someone is superficial it simply won’t work for you at this time, only the real deal will do! This sign and its energy is the detective of the Zodiac, therefore we are more interested in getting to the bottom of our problems, as we work at uncovering what’s been hidden, suppressed, or unseen. We also can be quite obsessed with other people’s problems and can feel a strong urge to help those around us. Scorpio energy is also quite sexy, mysterious, and provocative! So there’s going to be some interesting situations that spark up in our relationships while the Sun is in Scorpio. And the single folks out there may search for a strong love, committed, and long-term during this time. This Scorpio influence keeps us perhaps a little more reserved about how passionate we truly feel, but we can still be strong-willed and intense. This is a time of powerful emotions and some of you might feel rather emotional during its run. This energy can transform certain things in your life, of course, depending on what part of your personal Astrology Birth Chart the Sun is cruising through is what part of your life this energy will be the most evident.

The sign of Scorpio is often represented by the Scorpion, but also, the Mythical Bird, the “Phoenix” can represent this brave sign. The legend of the Phoenix is about how once were ready to go, die off, or end our chapter in this life, this magical bird flies up in the air and catches fire and turns to dust! But from that state, it comes back and resurrects itself back to being whole. Once it has risen back to life, it is ready to start over again. This legend teaches us that sometimes we have to fall apart, and let something end, or let a part ourselves die off to resurrect and come back to life, so we can tap into some kind of new energy and start something anew.

The shadow side of Scorpio energy is we can become more easily jealous, paranoid, obsessive, and manipulative. This energy can cause some of you to be more obsessive about an issue or problem, as we can be compulsive and won’t let things just happen naturally. This, of course, will get you nowhere and it might be more difficult to stop once you have started focusing on something.

Despite how scary or creepy this all might sound, Scorpio is part of the Zodiac Wheel for a reason and we all have a little or a lot of this sign in each of our Astrology Birth Charts. Scorpio energy also gives us incredible drive and strength, which in turn can help us get through difficult times. This sign knows how to survive the worst of situations and has extra reserved up energy to get through. Scorpio energy kicks ass and takes names once it is forced to die off like the Phoenix, so it can figure out whatever it needs to know to come back. So draw upon the Scorpio energy during this time to help you take on difficult tasks or situations in your life.

Curious Mercury and loving Venus are also in the sign of Scorpio at this time, which also runs through Scorpio Season. This means our souls, hearts, and minds are all being ruled by the Scorpio energy, therefore, some of you will be breaking your lives down to rise up once again, and perhaps resurrect yourselves in some way just like the Phoenix!

This can be amazing energy to work with if you want to finish something in your life, after all, Scorpio Season is a time of endings, hence why we choose to celebrate Halloween during this time, as Halloween originated from the Holiday the “Day of the Dead,” which is a time when we should be honoring those who have passed or crossed over, it’s a time to be in touch with our ancestors who lived here before us. With so much Scorpio energy this season going around the veils between this world and other realms are very thin, and we will have an extra spooky Halloween Season as our minds are very in sync with the afterlife and paranormal. Therefore many of you will be able to connect to loved ones who have crossed more easily than usual. And those spirits and energies that are still roaming on this earthly plane will be restless, so often that means more communicative as well. But remember they have to communicate differently with us.

This is also a time when the earth sheds itself, as the Fall into Winter months is the time the planet dies off so to speak, but we know next Spring it will resurrect itself and start all over again. Ask yourself what part of your life do you need to end? What are you shedding away? What part of your life needs to die off and perhaps be started all over? Are you being forced to look at certain parts of your life now, so you will end something? This can be any part of your life, an old worn-out behavior or attitude, a situation, or it could be with a person. Or perhaps it is something spiritual within yourself.
