“SUN IN LIBRA”
Happy Birthday, Libra! And Happy Libra Season to all.
The Sun shifts from practical, detailed Virgo into the sign of harmony and balance, Libra, through October 23.
This is our “Autumnal Equinox”, and we will experience equal hours of daylight as darkness. Today is something to talk about because not only is the Sun moved into charming Libra, but so has the “great messenger” Mercury and the Goddess of Love, Venus. So our core-self, minds, and hearts are in sync, besides the constant need for balance these aspects turn our focus towards our relationships, as these influences bring in the energy of balance, cooperation, and equality. It’s a good time to work on balancing your personal life and relationships.
We can feel mentally sharper and be made more aware of issues of injustice by being able to spot unfair treatment. We may have to stand up for ourselves or someone else during this time. This seems to come out more so with family and close friends. It can be easier at this time to see all sides to most situations, so we can have a hard time choosing sides while trying to figure things out. Just remember you can’t make everyone happy, as decision making can prove to be difficult. This is a good time to meet others halfway, compromise, and work on negotiations. Take into consideration other folks needs, agendas, and desires as well as your own. We might start playing the role of peacemaker, so we can be very diplomatic when it comes to dealing with problems or in business dealings. We desire peace and harmony and create that energy both aware and unconsciously.
Be careful to not seek out the approval of others too much during this cycle, as it can be difficult to know who’s telling the truth sometimes. Follow your gut instincts during Libra Season as our inner awareness is very strong. We have an extra boost of intuition now with mental Mercury also in the sign of Libra, so it’s just natural to study other folks and their behaviors and body language. Follow that little voice inside your head, it is strong under all this Libra energy, we all can be quite Psychic and will be able to see through other people quite quickly.
This transit can affect those with Leo or Libra Suns Signs or Rising signs quite strongly, but this energy affects all of us! Sun in Libra folks should feel a great big jolt of confidence and playfulness over these next four weeks, and Leo may be made more aware of how to balance themselves both emotionally and physically.
While under the Sun in Libra we will strive to keep some sort of balance and greater equilibrium for the next month. So we are working on lessons involving such things as style, charm, tact, tolerance, and our social skills. The more shadow side of Libra energy shows us how we are more indecisive, passive-aggressive, fake or superficial, and a bit narcissistic. Learn from this time, as there is going to be a whole lot of Libra energy surrounding us for the next month or so.
