Mercury in Cancer – Sincere Communication

 

Mercury enters the sign of more sensitive, and stronger feeling Cancer later today, on June 4th. This transits runs through June 29th! But we will have to retrace our steps back into Mercury in Cancer in July when Mercury goes Retrograde!

 

 

For now, with Mercury in Cancer, we communicate with our hearts and emotions first. We think, speak, and take in information on a deeper emotional level now. We tend to follow our gut instincts more so now, which is helpful if we listen to our intuition.

 

This transits influence makes us less interested in what’s happening in the real world. We can be sort of selfish, as we go more inward with our thoughts and feelings. We are more concerned about what affects us personally, which includes more focus being put on the people that are near and dear to our hearts and upbringing.

 

Our thoughts are more colored by our emotions and how we are feeling, which can make it more challenging to be objective or fair, although this energy can help us feel our thoughts out first before expressing them. Which means we are more sincere and authentic. This can produce stronger moments of pessimistic thinking, or negative thoughts, so we must be more mindful and perhaps work harder at thinking more positive. Some folks tend to be shyer during this time, and will need to be reassured to feel safe enough to be vulnerable. But this influence does help our communications to be more authentic and loving at times, but also full of emotions.
