Mental Mercury rules over our minds and how we express ourselves! Mercury changes signs into more practical Taurus on May 6 and stays through May 21.
This is a huge shift for all of us. We’ve been under a lot of fiery fast-moving planets since the end of February, and this is the last planet to shift out of that energy! Now the Sun, Mercury, Uranus and soon Venus all will be in the sign of Taurus. This definitely helps us feel more down to earth, stable, and grounded, which will be a nice change of pace but maybe take a few days to get used to. So if you feel tired or unmotivated, don’t worry it won’t last for too terribly long. Just no its a time to pay attention and move slowly.
However, we can feel so slowed down that we need to watch ourselves for feeling to down. This influence does help us use our common sense instead of being so impulsive. We tend to communicate still quite deliberately under this influence, and we can get right to the point and be a tad bit aggressive if we aren’t careful. But we also like to stick to what has worked in the past, so we would rather work with tried and true methods that have worked in the past, instead of finding new ways of doing things.
Our attention is more focused on doing one thing at a time, which can help keep our lives more simple as we should work really hard at what we want and manifest something for ourselves! We need to keep ourselves in check however, for being too rigid, stubborn, or conservative in our way of thinking.
