The New Moon energy will be quite comforting in the sign of Taurus on May 4th!
This lunation brings in new beginnings and hopefully a fresh start to our lives. This means we should be focusing on helping heal the world by embodying positive energies for our future, with our hopes and dreams. This energy can feel natural and comforting, as we should be focused on building onto whatever foundations we already have and keeping them secure.
This is a time when feelings need to be expressed in our friendships and partnerships, as we develop a stronger sense of what we want in our lives. This is also a great time to push forward with whatever we were releasing around the last Full Moon in April.
This New Moon in the sign of Taurus, and it does affect everyone, as it harmonizes with the planets Neptune, Saturn, Pluto, and the Moon’s North Node, this means it just feels more natural to connect to something that gives us a sense of purpose so we can make changes and start up something new. This is a time to fulfill a deep mission within ourselves, by doing something that fulfills our soul. It is easy to overdo things and go overboard, and we can be sort of cocky or have a bit of an attitude with Mars making a tense opposition to larger than life Jupiter.
This influence can help us finish up the little things that need to be sorted out, as it helps us make room for the big cosmic shifts that are changing things so rapidly now. This is an opportune time to ask the Universe for New Beginnings. The intentions that are set during a New Moon Ritual will set you on the right path towards your desires. Have a conversation with the Universe or Cosmos (meaning your higher-self, higher power, Guides, Angels, the God of your understanding etc), and ask for the New Moon to open up the paths towards your deepest desires, or ask to be led to your manifestations.
Some of you might be asking, how does one Set Intentions under the New Moon?
Well first you should set the mood, create the energy. Light some candles and maybe burn some incense or sage. Next play some calming meditative music. Get comfortable and simply write down your deepest desires, wishes and questions on a piece of paper or in a journal. Think about what would you like to manifest, create, or what energy your trying to bring into your life. Think of it this way if you don’t ask you will never know the answers.
As your doing a ritual or Setting your Intentions, here’s some helpful questions you can think about.
- What are you choosing to have in your life?
- What changes would you like to see in your life?
- What are you or should you be building on, or starting new?
- How do you feel about what is happening in your life right now,?
- What do you want to create around your long-term goals and in your future?
One of the most important parts of Setting Intention with the New Moon, is FEELING what it is you really want to have happen or see come in your life.
The next step is to Visualize and feel what you’ve written down. Close your eyes and take several deep breaths, and imagine entering into your heart Chakra, the middle of your chest! Now see yourself in the desire or dream your creating. For example, see yourself living in that new home, falling in love with that amazing Soul-Mate, getting that job you’ve always wanted, or driving that new car. You can’t just THINK IT you have to make sure and FEEL IT, as if you are already really experiencing what your visualizing out in this physical world.
Some folks like to burn their Intentions or Wishlists after they have performed their ritual, so just make sure to do it in a safe place. Others keep their lists until the next Full Moon and burn them at that time. Everyone does it a little bit differently, but the Universe knows either way, just do what works for you!
Allow the Universe to show you what paths to follow over the next month, and allow the New Moon to show you the paths you are supposed to be going down, so you can live a fuller more happy life, and obtain the goals and dreams you already have been focused on!
