It’s a time to take a step back to review plans and projects as giant Jupiter makes its yearly backward trip into its Retrograde Cycle for the next four months. With Jupiter in Retrograde, it’s a time to re-think goals and plans, especially ones ruled by Jupiter. This is really an opportunity to question ourselves about the things we thought we already knew so we can develop new perspectives or beliefs around what we are planning next for our future.
With Jupiter Retrograde we get a once a year opportunity to go back over certain things and possibly collect the rewards or gifts we missed out on before! Maybe you just weren’t ready yet the first time around, or open to certain possibilities. But now you get another chance to experience a bright prospect that lucky Jupiter can bring.
During this Retrograde phase, you can see just what part of your life you’ve been overdoing it in, or where there’s been excess, greed, or extravagance. You just may need to slow it down a bit, as adventures & projects can be moving along too fast and mistakes get made or things can be misinterpreted. Let things unfold naturally during this time, which can be a bit of a struggle through the 21 of April with it being Aries Season, and again through the first part of June with mental Mercury in Aries, so our minds want to do nothing more than to move forward, fast and quick! But remember taking your time now during this Jupiter Retrograde period can be beneficial in the long run. As certain realities become known and this energy comes in stronger you may start to lose your motivation and enthusiasm.
Making progress might come to a halt as this cosmic turnaround tends to slow us down. This is a cycle of reflection, you should be focused on what gives your life deeper meaning, and what can help you feel more abundant. This isn’t typically a time of difficulty, but when Jupiter gets ready to turn Retrograde (its Shadow Period) it can seriously slow us down, as we adjust to this more intense feeling influence. This actually can cause you to feel a sense of urgency and desire to find something more expansive in your life and to get rid of the things that are restricting you, holding you back, or that are keeping you from happiness and satisfaction.
Starting April 8 through August 11 is a time for cutbacks on the activities that don’t help you reach your goals. The Universe has a way of getting us to take a seat and chill out, this Retrograde phase gives you that opportunity to make sure the plans and projects you’re working on are still what you want and need. It’s a time to rid of any distractions that just waste your time, energy, or money! Don’t focus on what isn’t working or what’s slowing falling away now, rest assured it was probably a waste of your time anyway. Besides whatever doesn’t work out at this time, is probably a gift to you from the Universe, because there was a reason of you understand it or not. Once Jupiter is direct, whatever plans or projects you have been working on will start to come together. We’ve got plenty of time to figure it out.
Most of the time Retrograde planets get a pretty bad rap! But when Jupiter is Retrograde it can actually be a good thing! You just might receive some sort of random good luck in whatever part of your life you are the most focused on at this time. This is a time for second chances and opportunities, and for amazing things start to happen that involve your work, traveling, legalities, real estate, and of course your spiritual growth. Over the next four months, we get a chance to actually make big strides, but only if it’s something you really want and have been working towards. If you try to be tricky and lie or deceive others to get ahead now or take advantage of people, your success will come crumbling down once Jupiter goes direct again in June.
Over the next few months whatever has held you up from growing and evolving on a soul level is where Jupiter’s Retrograde will be more evident. This cosmic turnabout is a time of big surprises and reveals! Many of you are simply repeating a pattern of some sort that you might have done repeatedly lifetimes before, which has been blocking your success and personal happiness. Over the next four months, Jupiter Retro will light up these behaviors or patterns. Old learned behaviors from our past in this life or past lives will be shown to us now. Therefore, this can be quite a revealing time that helps you understand just what part of your life needs help, so you can remove any blocks and achieve greater success and stop unhealthy behaviors once and for all!
Jupiter Retrograde happens every year! It lasts for about four months. It’s a great time to sort out exactly what you truly want from life, and to plan on how you can go get it! By the time Jupiter goes direct, you will see things start to become a reality, and will be able to move closer towards your goals with success, and hopefully some happiness.
