Solar Eclipse

The Aquarius New Moon is not just any Astrological event which can be forgotten within a week. It’s a turning point and the beginning of a dramatic new phase.
The Solar Eclipse occurs on February 15th in the sign of Aquarius. This Eclipse is connecting to wild, rebellious, and shocking Uranus, which is Aquarius ruling planet. This influence is trying to remind us to value whatever newfound freedom we may have and to open our minds to new and different perspectives. This is only a partial Eclipse, so it’s only visible in places like Argentina and Antarctica. Since there’s so much strong Aquarius energy going on are whole demeanor may appear cooled off, calm, and unattached but yet we seem friendly towards others.
The Sun and Moon are making a close connection with Mercury and Juno the asteroid of marriage and contracts. The bottom line is this means love, partnerships, and companionships of any kinds can come up in topics of discussion from this Eclipse, and health and medicine. Jupiter in Scorpio brings out desires of greater bonds and intimacy, while the Eclipse in Aquarius is more about our partnerships, and problem areas around politics, groups, and anyone we are making intellectual connections with. This is a Solar Eclipse that represents freedom and choice, especially for women, there are new exciting ideas and technologies that are being invented by this energy, that can give us a much more happier and healthier way of life.
This energy is helping many of you to strike out on your own and follow your own independent path based on your own terms, as these relationships form they will be considered non-traditional at first, but they form new family structures. The Solar Eclipse will also expose the truths and limitations around arranged marriages and sexual abuse often associated with them.
A Solar Eclipse connected to the South Node of destiny, requires us to let go of something or someone to make space for new.
And the New Moon is square Jupiter in Scorpio, so this just makes this transformational energy more strong. There is support from the Cosmos helping us get to the heart of our more negative patterns. So whatever we are feeling the most defensive about is what we have became the most fixated on and this energy should make us more aware of these issues, and hopefully it shatters the illusions we are living under, which helps us to let go of old attachments and breaks us free! But at what cost? Try not to burn bridges with those you love or you might regret it down the road.
Venus and Saturn are actually making a rather nice connection during this New Moon/Solar Eclipse and this brings a stronger desire for companionship in some way. You may want to feel loved but also valued by someone, but only serious and true love will be considered! If you have an existing partner you can look for reassurance or for making a stronger commitment towards one another now. This is a great aspect to have with the Solar Eclipse conjunting the Asteroid Juno, as this means this Eclipse is an ideal time to get engaged or married under.
This is a perfect time to make a more deeper spiritual connection with yourself. How do you do that? Well through meditation or prayer, or whatever helps you connect to your spirit, there are many different ways and paths.
Mental Mercury is making a nice connection to wild Uranus under this New Moon energy, this facilitates communication and cooperation between our lower and higher minds! What a strong jolt of energy this will be mentally, many of you will be filled with wild thoughts and inspirations, and it might be difficult to get sleep as we get closer to this energy Wednesday and Thursday. The Cosmos is helping us to take a break from our problems for the moment and step into our inner-awareness so we can better observe our own thoughts and reactions. From this space of expanded awareness, we can come up with new solutions that are brilliant or at least helpful.
Some of our thoughts will turn into things related towards companionship and love. But again health and medicine are going to be strong topics now, as answers come in through this Eclipse energy, especially around mental health and women’s health issues.
This Eclipse is clearing a path for us to heal wounds around betrayal, and to let go of patterns of jealousy, by deepening our feelings of self-love. This puts us right on the path of the North Node of destiny, which is in LEO right now, which is all about doing what is authentic, real, or true. By doing what makes your heart happy, so we feel everything right in our hearts while under these influences! Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and feel your heart energy and allow that feeling to take you to where you really want to go, just place your hand on your heart and the Universe will guide you.
