September’s “Cazimi” New Moon

There is a strong potential for an opportunity to show up during this particular New Moon for all of us. There’s a whole lot of Virgo energy coming together and we can use this to our advantage. These Virgo influences can be like the ultimate Fix-It energy, so there’s a strong possibility a solution to a long-term problem can show up.

As of now, there are four planets in the sign of the Goddess, Virgo, and tomorrow five. So it will be difficult to ignore. We desire more than usual to keep drama away and work on making things calmer. The less chaos the better. Focusing on our health is very important now, as well as our mental and spiritual well-being. This fix-it energy is here and eager to help us take care of ourselves so we can tend to our business and work.

The best part of this rather rare Astrological line-up is that with so much Virgo energy in play we can discover better solutions and ways to regain order, which is something we all need right now. The really interesting thing about this New Moon is that it’s what’s called a “Cazimi” in Astrology, it means this New Moon has an auspicious touch and can be very lucky! Clean space cleanses our souls and minds, so our space needs to be tidy and neat. “Wounded Healer” Chiron will be stirring up some emotional challenges during this New Moon as well. It’s getting ready to make a tense Square to strict Saturn, which can bring up your fears and insecurities to the surface. This energy will definitely be stirring things up by early November. We can learn something important about our past and the scars that are still with us, these emotional wounds will come out to heal and help us restore some sort of balance in our lives.

This New Moon can be an eye-opening experience so we can work on doing away with any denial or unrealistic expectations that have been clouding up our vision. Virgo energy is all about keeping things clean and tidy, and since we are in this process, just remember the sense of accomplishment you feel after a major cleaning project, it’s a wonderful freeing feeling! That’s what you can expect to feel if you do the work.

After everything we’ve been through and all the chaos over the last several months, this New Moon is coming in right on time. It’s like the ultimate “Cleaner”, that helps us make new goals and implement new plans. No other sign is more detailed than Virgo, so this energy you catch flaws and imperfections to help us see what’s not working in our lives. So take advantage of this time and clean up any chaos in your life, and find those fixes and regain balance.

There’s a great opportunity during the New Moon to embrace some new daily ritual or practice routines around self-care. Getting through all this Virgo energy can be a painful process, but it’s an excellent healer. The knowledge it brings can create the perfect equilibrium between our body, mind, and spirit. So we can create some sort of balance.

The energies are shifting once again as we head into the final phase of 2017. Jupiter will change signs into Scorpio in October, and Saturn will also shift in December into Capricorn. A new plan and fixing what’s been broken down will help us embrace these new energies coming in.

The September New Moon delivers the fix-it energy we so desperately need to clean up our lives from all the Retrograde chaos we’ve been in.
