Full Super Moon

The Full “Super” Moon comes together Tuesday morning in sensual Taurus. The Taurus Moon is opposing the Sun in mysterious Scorpio. This Full Moon is a “Super” Moon which means it’s much closer to the Earth, and its energy is even more potent. Full Moons produce a tense energy, but they help us learn how to balance the two opposing energies between the Sun and the Moon.

The Moon in earthy, practical, peace-loving Taurus is opposing the Sun in emotionally transformative, mysterious Scorpio. The Moon in Taurus is about finding peace and contentment through the simple, tangible things in life. While the Sun in Scorpio is about what seems out of reach, complexity, and mysteries. This Full Moon lights up or illuminates the conflict between what we already have in this physical realm and gaining what we truly need on a soul level, so that we are aligned with our deepest desires. We should be asking ourselves, what do we stubbornly hold on to and what do we share in our lives, both physically and emotionally…during a Full Moon we should be releasing what is no longer working or serving us.

This Full Moon is creative and passionate, it offers amazing possibilities and helps us have experiences that teach us valuable lessons. Intimate relationships come into focus now…we care about how comfortable we are with one another and have a strong need for sensuality. A Full Moon sends out very strong emotional energy, and is a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships. It is a time when what we wished for, (aware or not) during the last New Moon starts to come together. That’s why we should always be aware and simply ask the Universe for what it is we want, because our unconscious mind will do it for us, if we don’t!

Venus and Chiron are in opposition this morning and they meet up with wild Uranus tonight. This causes our insecurities to grow and can make what’s already difficult even more so, it can bring our attention towards what’s already imbalanced or imperfect in our relationships. We might feel the need for more freedom or space in our relationships or perhaps just more excitement and play- time is really what’s needed. Either way we may choose not to express these feelings and that can cause us to lash out at our partners, and others will give the silent treatment, which does nothing to support the other person.
